YOUR TIDE WILL TURN
FOOD FOR THOUGHT!!
“The Lord hath been mindful of us: He will bless us; He will bless the house of Israel; He will bless the house of Aaron” [PSALM 115 v 12].
Good morning dear child of the Most High Jehovah Almighty God, it doesn’t matter the situations or circumstances confronting you now! The Lord of Hosts is in perfect control and He will turn things around in our favour in Jesus name.
In having a turning point in your life, at least five possibilities exist. These possibilities are determined by decisions we make, circumstances we find ourselves in our abilities and limitations.
The categories of turning points are when things go from bad to good, good to bad, bad to worse, good to better and a combination of any two or more categories.
Today, we shall examine the movement from bad to good. This is a Positive development. There are certain instances in life when things having gone bad suddenly take a positive leap.
The four lepers in 2 KINGS 7 v 1- 8 had this experience. They once probably had good jobs and lived healthy normal lives, then they were struck with leprosy and as a result, lost their jobs, exhausted their financial reserves in pursuit of healing until they began to starve and inch towards death on daily basis.
They were ostracized from civil society to the colony of lepers. They lost their relatives and friends and everything they once had with nothing to live for. Coincidentally, the Syrians had a siege over Samaria where they lived. There was intense famine in the land which was even tougher within the leper’s colony.
Then one day, one of them woke up as from sleep and told the others, ‘Enough is enough. Since death is inevitable, let us take our last trip towards the enemy’s camp.”
The decision to make this of faith coincided with God’s need to use people as instruments of deliverance for Samaria. So as the need was met, a miraculous turning point resulted. The lepers who had nothing to eat and who thought they would die poor suddenly became national heroes and millionaires with fixed deposits.
You are born to make history. You are a child of destiny. They are several seemingly insignificant steps you are capable taking which will satisfy God’s need and suddenly move you from death to life, tears into celebration.
Friend, do not refrain your feet. If those lepers who had nothing to live for refused to give up hope, don’t give up! You have a lot to live for! Your future lies beyond the present dark tunnel. The tide will take a positive turn in your life. Keep your faith and take your next step in alignment with God’s will for your life in Jesus Christ amazing name.
Dearly beloveth, the lepers’ disadvantage became the nation’s advantage. Pray and ask God to turn every disadvantage in your life into an advantage in Jesus name victorious name Amen.
Remain blessed, saved, safe, redeemed sanctified and always rapturarable in Jesus name Amen Shalom.
