Why do we need to resist the devil

1. The devil is a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour:  1 Peter 5:8-11
2. Devil is cunning: Genesis 3:1
3. He posses: Luke 22:3 (Judas Iscariot)
4. He afflicts us: Job 2:7 ( Job 38:12 take charge of your morning)
5. He sifts his prey: Luke 22:31
6. He instigates evil: John 13:2, 27
7. He is the father of lies and he is a deceiver: Rev. 12:9

In conclusion: Romans 6:14A

“Sin shall not have dominion over you”

Altar Call:

O Lord God, I come to You in the Name of Jesus Christ. Your Word says, “….. Whosoever shall call on the Name of the Lord shall be saved” (Acts 2:21). I ask Jesus to come into my heart to be the Lord of my life. I receive eternal life into my spirit, and according to Romans 10:9 , “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt e saved”, I declare that I am saved; I am born again; I am a child of God! I now have Christ dwelling in me, and greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world! I now walk in the consciousness of my new life in Christ Jesus, Amen!

May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!
