Leviticus 22. The Holiness of the offerings

1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 2 Speak unto Aaron and to his sons, that they separate themselves from the holy things of the children of Israel, and that they profane not my holy name in those things which they hallow unto me: I am the LORD. 3 Say unto them, Whosoever he be of all your seed among your generations, that goeth unto the holy things, which the children of Israel hallow unto the LORD, having his uncleanness upon him, that soul shall be cut off from my presence: I am the LORD. 4 What man soever of the seed of Aaron is a leper, or hath a running issue; he shall not eat of the holy things, until he be clean. And whoso toucheth any thing that is unclean by the dead, or a man whose seed goeth from him; 5 Or whosoever toucheth any creeping thing, whereby he may be made unclean, or a man of whom he may take uncleanness, whatsoever uncleanness he hath; 6 The soul which hath touched any such shall be unclean until even, and shall not eat of the holy things, unless he wash his flesh with water. 7 And when the sun is down, he shall be clean, and shall afterward eat of the holy things; because it is his food. 8 That which dieth of itself, or is torn with beasts, he shall not eat to defile himself therewith: I am the LORD. 9 They shall therefore keep mine ordinance, lest they bear sin for it, and die therefore, if they profane it: I the LORD do sanctify them.

10 There shall no stranger eat of the holy thing: a sojourner of the priest, or an hired servant, shall not eat of the holy thing. 11 But if the priest buy any soul with his money, he shall eat of it, and he that is born in his house: they shall eat of his meat. 12 If the priest’s daughter also be married unto a stranger, she may not eat of an offering of the holy things. 13 But if the priest’s daughter be a widow, or divorced, and have no child, and is returned unto her father’s house, as in her youth, she shall eat of her father’s meat: but there shall no stranger eat thereof. 14 And if a man eat of the holy thing unwittingly, then he shall put the fifth part thereof unto it, and shall give it unto the priest with the holy thing. 15 And they shall not profane the holy things of the children of Israel, which they offer unto the LORD; 16 Or suffer them to bear the iniquity of trespass, when they eat their holy things: for I the LORD do sanctify them.

17 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 18 Speak unto Aaron, and to his sons, and unto all the children of Israel, and say unto them, Whatsoever he be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers in Israel, that will offer his oblation for all his vows, and for all his freewill offerings, which they will offer unto the LORD for a burnt offering; 19 Ye shall offer at your own will a male without blemish, of the beeves, of the sheep, or of the goats. 20 But whatsoever hath a blemish, that shall ye not offer: for it shall not be acceptable for you. 21 And whosoever offereth a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the LORD to accomplish his vow, or a freewill offering in beeves or sheep, it shall be perfect to be accepted; there shall be no blemish therein. 22 Blind, or broken, or maimed, or having a wen, or scurvy, or scabbed, ye shall not offer these unto the LORD, nor make an offering by fire of them upon the altar unto the LORD. 23 Either a bullock or a lamb that hath any thing superfluous or lacking in his parts, that mayest thou offer for a freewill offering; but for a vow it shall not be accepted. 24 Ye shall not offer unto the LORD that which is bruised, or crushed, or broken, or cut; neither shall ye make any offering thereof in your land. 25 Neither from a stranger’s hand shall ye offer the bread of your God of any of these; because their corruption is in them, and blemishes be in them: they shall not be accepted for you. 26 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 27 When a bullock, or a sheep, or a goat, is brought forth, then it shall be seven days under the dam; and from the eighth day and thenceforth it shall be accepted for an offering made by fire unto the LORD. 28 And whether it be cow or ewe, ye shall not kill it and her young both in one day. 29 And when ye will offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving unto the LORD, offer it at your own will. 30 On the same day it shall be eaten up; ye shall leave none of it until the morrow: I am the LORD. 31 Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the LORD. 32 Neither shall ye profane my holy name; but I will be hallowed among the children of Israel: I am the LORD which hallow you, 33 That brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the LORD.

A
Muslim Boy’s Journey to Christ.

By
The Voice of the Martyrs Canada

Faith

Imagine
what it would be like if your decision to follow Jesus made you an outcast from
your family and even a target for death.

That’s
what happened to a man named Abdu. But the power of love broke down the
barriers and brought him and his family back together.

These
days Abdu and his father, Suleman, spend time praying and studying the Bible
together. Some might call that a miracle since the two did not speak for nearly
20 years.

In
fact, Abdu’s father once tried to kill him. Why? Because at the age of 16 he
decided to leave Islam and follow Jesus.

An
Unexpected Visit

The
young man’s journey of faith began with an unexpected visit.

“I
was sleeping and Jesus woke me up, and it was like a dream or revelation,”
Abdu recalled.

Abdu
gave his life to Christ after reading from a borrowed Bible. His decision made
his family angry because in their Muslim community, leaving Islam brings
disgrace.

“We
didn’t know what kind of belief he brought,” Suleman said. “We were
fundamentalist Muslims and were very upset. That is why we were against
him.”

“Our
neighbors also told us he brought a foreign religion here which is not good,
and they said, ‘Attack him and don’t accept him,'” he said.

His
mother, Semira, was also very upset when she learned her son became a
Christian.

“I
had deep, deep sorrow in my heart because I thought I had lost my boy,”
she said. “I thought we can’t even be buried together when our days are
over. It was a big sorrow at that time.”

Village
leaders tried to intimidate Abdu by ordering a gang of young men to attack him.

“As
I was walking to school, they met me on the road and they beat me very badly
with a rope and made me suffer,” Abdu recalled. “They [asked] me, if
this was my final decision. If I continued to be a Christian, they said they
would take the full measure and would kill [me].”

Still,
Abdu refused to renounce Jesus, and his father became so angry that he tried to
kill him.

“We
chased him out from our home because we didn’t want to be against our
neighbors. He brought different things [here] so we chased him out and he went
to another village,” Suleman said.

During
his years in exile from his family, Abdu worked at a church as a security guard
and grew stronger in his faith. He read more than 100 Christian books and began
discipline other former Muslims who had come to Jesus.

Thawing
Hearts

But
Abdu’s mother missed him terribly, and after many years of separation, she
slipped away to visit her son.

“During
the six years, I had heard that he wasn’t drinking alcohol and doing bad
things,” she said. “But the boys who were his friends here were doing
those things, so I decided to see him secretly.”

Impressed
by the changes in her son’s life, Semira began to consider Christ. However, it
took 10 years before she too would leave Islam to follow Jesus.

“I
believed that the faith of my son was true and correct, but now I had a big
problem with my husband,” Semira said. “But I still decided to follow
Jesus and tried to bring [my husband] to Christ. We showed big love to him and
big changes in our character. This influenced him.”

About
a year later, Suleman’s heart softened under the influence of God’s big love.
Now, he and the rest of his family, about 40 of them, are all Christians.

A
hut on the family property is now a place of worship to the Lord and for
hearing the Gospel.

“I’m
very happy that my family has come to Jesus,” Abdu said. “But the
biggest thing that makes me excited is that near the home [where] I grew up is
a place being used as a church. People are coming and praying and giving their
lives to Christ!”

A
Missionary to Muslims

Abdu
is now a missionary to Muslims in areas that are hostile to the Gospel.

With
help from the Voice of the Martyrs Canada and Scotland, Abdu oversees a
tentmakers’ project for six other former Muslims who are sharing their faith.

“Our
way of bringing people to Christ is not only telling them the Bible, but we
show them big love and share our things with them and also show them the good
life we have in Christ,” Abdu said.

That
approach has been very effective, with thousands of former Muslims responding
to the Gospel.

As
for Suleman, while he and his family are persecuted for the faith, he said he’s
not about to return to Islam and he looks forward to eternity with the Lord.

“The
fundamentalists can do the worst they can to us,” Suleman said. “The
last option for them is to kill us. We don’t mind if they kill us because some
believers will bury us.”

“For
us, it is better with Christ than to live in the community without
Christ,” he said. “We don’t feel fear. These days for us are not a
threat.”

May
GOD bless Nigeria, America and Israel and take care of us; May GOD make His
face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the LORD lift up His countenance
upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

May
the grace the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the
Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen!

The Blood Of Jesus Christ

The Blood
of Jesus Christ

How
much more . . . will the blood of Christ . . . cleanse our consciences from
acts that lead to death.

Hebrews
9:14, NIV

Do
you know people who arrogantly insist that if their good works outweigh their
bad works, God is somehow obligated to accept them? As you look around, what
“fruit” do you see others bringing to the place of sacrifice instead
of humbly approaching God through the blood of His Son? The “fruit”
of

religious
activity,

good
works,

morality,

or
philanthropy?

Many people do not want to come to
the place of sacrifice, the Cross of Jesus Christ, because it intensifies the
conviction of their own sin and judgment and is a reminder that heaven’s gate
is closed to sinners. God warns that “a man is not justified by observing
the law,” (Gal. 2:16, NIV)
because “without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness” of
sin (Heb. 9:22, NIV). So humble
yourself, come to the Cross, and thank God for the blood of Jesus that is
sufficient to forgive any and all sin

May GOD bless Nigeria, America and Israel and take care of us; May GOD make His
face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the LORD lift up His countenance
upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

May the grace the Lord
Jesus Christ
, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen!

Finding Purpose in the World Through God’s Will

Do the Will of God

John 4:34 says: “Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of Him that sent Me, and to finish His work.” Before this statement the disciples asked Jesus if He was hungry. His reply was essentially, “There are natural things that I must deal with. There are natural things that I have to resist. But no matter what, I have come to do My Father’s will.” You might wonder what this has to do with our look at the elements of salvation. It is this. When we don’t have a purpose in life, we will be void of fulfillment. Jesus came to give us purpose and fulfillment. Our purpose is to do the will of God. We are purposed to live in the will of God, in His blessing, and to share His will of hope to others. Without a vision, people perish. Jesus came and told us that doing the Father‘s will is more important than earthly things will ever be. It is the only thing in life that really satisfies. When you get involved in the work of God – in your church, in your workplace, in your home with a Bible study, or in reaching out to others to help them find Christ – you fulfill purpose. And, the great benefit is you also encourage and strengthen people even as you are satisfied. This is definitely a part of salvation.

Be satisfied!

May Our God The Almighty prosper Nigeria and Israel and defend us from all our enemies in Jesus Christ Name, Amen!

Finding Light in Darkness: The Power of God’s Word

Stained glass at St John the Baptist's Anglica...

Image via Wikipedia

Man is hopelessly lost until he receives God’s Word (2
Corinthians 4:3-4). The Word of God is the true light (John 1:9). This is the
light that you need to find your way through life. You see, the world is
pervaded by darkness and until you recognize the Word as the true Light, you’ll
continue to grope in life.

Fear, confusion, poverty, disease and death are all forms of
darkness. They all originated from the same source, the devil, who is himself
darkness. The reason many people fall by the way side in life is that they didn’t
have the light to go through the darkness of life and there was no light for
them to navigate, so they fell and plunged themselves deeper into darkness.

When you get a hold of the Word of God, your path becomes
illuminated and you’re able to find your way through life. If however you
neglect the Word and your choices are made in darkness, you’ll get yourself into
bigger trouble.

The Bible says, “He (God) sent His Word, and healed them,
and delivered them from their destructions” (Psalms 107:20). Therefore, it
makes no difference the type of darkness you’re going through today, all you
need is the Word of God; the Light of life; the Lord Jesus Christ Who is the
Word of God made flesh.

He said, “I am come a light into the world, that whosoever
believeth on me should not abide in darkness” (John 12:46). He’ll lead you
through the darkness of confusion, frustration, disease, poverty, and fear. You
can walk out of that darkness a victor today for the Light is coming to you
today through this devotional. Therefore, open your heart and receive
direction. Hallelujah! Amen!

PRAYER

Father, I thank You
for You have commanded Your Light to shine out of my darkness and this Light is
shinning in my heart. Therefore, my life is illuminated with the glory of your
Word; prosperity, and God – ideas are coming to me now and I’m making the right
choices in life, in Jesus Christ Name, Amen!

Overcoming Life’s Challenges in Christ

Stained glass at St John the Baptist's Anglica...

Image via Wikipedia

WHO SHALL SEPARATE US FROM THE LOVE OF CHRIST? FOR WE ARE
MORE THAN CONQUERORS THROUGH HIM THAT LOVED US (ROMANS 8:35-37)

As long as you’re in your physical body, you’re going to
face crises in life. You’re going to have to contend with forces of darkness
that’ll seek to destroy you. You mustn’t do that from the position of a victim,
it has to be from the position of a victor. This is why the teaching of the
Word of God is so important. As you learn God’s Word, you’ll discover you were
not made to be a victim. You’re born a victor. Let that be the standpoint from
which you view life; cultivate the “giant killer” mentality because that’s who
you are – more than a conqueror, an overcomer in Christ Jesus!

Ignorance of God’s Word has been the undoing of many of
God’s people. It is ignorance that gets some of them searching for deliverance
from one place to the other. You have to come out of that position of a
sufferer. According to the Bible, the true testimonies aren’t, “I was in
trouble, but God brought me out,” or “I was sick, but now I am healed!” The
true testimony is the declaration of God’s Word. As you mature in Christ,
you’ll discover you’re not poor trying to get rich or the sick trying to get
healed; you’re the blessed of God!

Healing belongs to you, prosperity is yours; your life has
been adequately furnished with every good thing necessary for you to live the
divine life. Stand tall in Christ Jesus; you’re not a victim but a victor. You
can never be disadvantaged in life; it doesn’t matter what comes your way, the
Bible says all things work together for your good! You’re not a child of
chance; predestination is at work in you and your life is for the praise and
glory of God, Amen!

PRAYER

My Dear Heavenly
Father, I thank You for making me more than a conqueror; a victor and an
overcomer in this life. Therefore, no matter what comes against me I stand tall
in Christ Jesus and remain a victor and a bundle of success in Jesus Christ
Name, Amen!

O Christ. In Thee My Soul Hath Found.

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

O Christ. In Thee My Soul Hath Found.
And Found In Thee Alone,
The Peace, The Joy I Sought So Long,
The Bliss Till Now Unknown.

Now None But Christ Can Satisfy,
None Other Name For Me.
There’s Love And Life And Lasting
Joy,
Lord Jesus Found In Thee.

I Sighed For Rest And Happiness,
I Yearned For Them, Not Thee;
But While I Passed My Saviour By
His Love Laid Hold On Me.

I Tried The Broken Cisterns, Lord,
But, Ah! The Waters Failed!
Even As I Stooped To Drink They Fled,
And Mocked Me As I Wailed.

The Pleasures Lost I Sadly Mounted
But Never Wept For Thee
Till Grace My Sightless Eyes Receive
Thy Loveliness To See.
Amen!

No Church Is Perfect, But Christ Is

I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

Ephesians 4:1-3

Ephesians_2-10: For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Ephesians_2-10: For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Suppose a man came to your door and said, “I’m really hungry and I need a meal.” So you say, “Well, come on in!” You get out some of your dinnerware and put a big steak on a plate with a baked potato, and you lay it down right in front of him.

The man looks at what you’ve set in front of him, folds his arms, sits back, and says, “I’m not going to eat it.” So you ask him, “Why aren’t you going to eat it? You said you were hungry!” And he says, “There’s a chip on the plate and I refuse to eat off of it.” Now, wouldn’t that just be unbelievable?

Many people come to church and say, “Yes, I’m hungry for Jesus.” But they look around and find chips on the wall and chips in the lives of people. They find all sorts of things to criticize. But real hunger for the Word and for fellowship with others will look past those imperfections and see what’s perfect about the church: Jesus.

The church has flaws. There’s not a church in the world that is perfect. Yet, we serve a perfect Saviour. So if you’re not plugged into a local church, find a good, imperfect, Jesus-centred church and discover the joy of experiencing life in Christ with others!

No Church Is Perfect, But Christ Is. So Live Life Together With Imperfect People Who Serve A Perfect Saviour!

1-Corinthians_14-33: For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

1-Corinthians_14-33: For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

Thank You Jesus!

“He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.”
Psalm 107:20 (KJV)

God never starts anything without His word. Anything that God wants to do on earth, the first thing he does is to send His word across. Once He sent out His word, it is as good as done. You don’t have any reason to doubt or fear. Nothing can be accomplished without God’s word.

The Bible tells us that: “In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God. (2) the same was in the beginning with God (3) All things were made by him and without Him was not anything made that was made. (4) In him was life and the life was the light of men (5) And the light shineth in darkness and the darkness comprehendeth not…….(14) And the word was made flesh” (John 1:1-5; 14, KJV). The word became flesh and dwelt among us. It became evident. We therefore need to pay close attention to God’s word because it will always come to pass.

One thing every believer must understand about the word of God is the fact that before He speaks or sends any word concerning you, He has already completed it in the spirit. The time He sent it is not when it was done. “Forever O lord, thy word is settled in heaven” (Psalm 119:89, KJV). His word has been settled in heaven. It is already guaranteed. It can never fail because it has already been settled in the spirit realm before God sent it forth.

Prophet Isaiah puts it succinctly when he states that God declares “the end from the beginning” (Isaiah 46:10, KJV). I know many people may find this difficult to understand. Now look at it this way: if you want to write a book you start from the Foreword, Preface, Introduction, then comes chapter 1, 2,3,4 etc. but that is not how God works. God begins from the conclusion.

Child of God, rejoice because your victory is already concluded and you will surely testify.

Isaiah 46:9-11
9 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,

10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

11 Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it.

Psalm 19:7-11
7 The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.

8 The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.

9 The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.

10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.

The Word Of God Is More Powerful Than Any Witches And Wizards

The Word Of God Is More Powerful Than Any Witches And Wizards

“And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.”

Luke 1:45 (KJV)

The word of God is more powerful than any obstacle. It is more powerful than witches and wizards. It is more powerful than incantations, spells and divinations. It is more powerful than any pronouncement and negative things that are working against you. The word of God has been spoken. And he will see to it that the word spoken in your life will come to pass.

I encourage you, therefore, to hold on to the word. Hold fast the profession of your faith without wavering. Never give up your confidence. Cast it not away. God will see to it that the word is validated in your job, business, academics etc. Don’t be afraid, no matter what you encounter. There shall surely be a performance. “With God nothing shall be impossible” (Luke 1:1-37, KJV).

If you hold on to the word, you are guaranteed of victory. The word cannot fail. If it fails, it means God has failed. He has said His word will not return to Him void. That is why we have an edge against the world. They don’t have the word of God. We have an edge because we have the God factor. God is with you. With you, God will do mighty things. He will do the impossible. He will shut the mouth of the enemy. He is God. Beside Him there is no other.

Why do you think you are saved? Is it to become a disgrace to His kingdom? No! You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a peculiar person, a holy nation. Set apart to show forth the praises of Him who has called us out of darkness into His marvellous light. You may have missed it severally but you will succeed. Don’t go about with your head bowed to the devil. Lift up your head! God has already perfected everything that concerns you and He wants you to function from that standpoint.

Hebrews 6:9-20

9 But even if we speak like this, dear friends, we feel sure about you. We know that you have the better blessings that belong to your salvation. 10 God is not unfair. He will not forget the work you did or the love you showed for him in the help you gave and are still giving to other Christians. 11 Our great desire is that each of you keep up your eagerness to the end, so that the things you hope for will come true. 12 We do not want you to become lazy, but to be like those who believe and are patient, and so receive what God has promised.

God’s Sure Promise
13 When God made his promise to Abraham, he made a vow to do what he had promised. Since there was no one greater than himself, he used his own name when he made his vow. 14 He said, “I promise you that I will bless you and give you many descendants.” 15 Abraham was patient, and so he received what God had promised. 16 When we make a vow, we use the name of someone greater than ourselves, and the vow settles all arguments. 17 To those who were to receive what he promised, God wanted to make it very clear that he would never change his purpose; so he added his vow to the promise. 18 There are these two things, then, that cannot change and about which God cannot lie. So we who have found safety with him are greatly encouraged to hold firmly to the hope placed before us. 19 We have this hope as an anchor for our lives. It is safe and sure, and goes through the curtain of the heavenly temple into the inner sanctuary. 20 On our behalf Jesus has gone in there before us and has become a high priest forever, in the priestly order of Melchizedek.

Hebrews 10:35-39

35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.

36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.

38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

God Says It! I Believe It! And That Settles It!

God Says It! I Believe It! And That Settles It!

“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.”

John 6:63 (KJV)

The word of God will fight for itself. If Jesus did not fail, the word of God will never fail because Jesus and His word are one. Let the rain come down, let everyone be against you, but hold on tenaciously to His word. You may not understand the things around you but just hold the word. And you watch what the word will do.

In Mark 4:35, Jesus said “let us pass over unto the other side”. That was the word that came from the lips of Jesus. And they got into the boat and started going. Suddenly, there was a storm. The wind became contrary. But, nevertheless, they could not be stopped because Jesus had spoken.

Maybe, you are experiencing contrary situations in your life. You are experiencing things that are contrary to what God has spoken. The Lord has spoken that by His stripes you were healed. He has spoken that with long life will he satisfy you and show you His salvation. He has spoken that no weapon formed against you shall prosper. He has spoken that you are blessed going out and blessed coming in. He has spoken that you have been redeemed from every curse of the law. My friend, forget the devil. God’s words are spirit and life. They will not fail. Devil, I say to you get lost. God’s people shall manifest.

Beloved, God is not intimidated by the attacks of the devil. He would not start a thing and stop it halfway. God will overrule for you. There is a divine investment into your life that is about to shake nations and affect community. Don’t you ever think that God will just watch and allow the devil to mess with you. I declare to you that you are coming out of every pressure and every influence of the devil. The devil will never have the last word. If anyone will testify, it is you.

Joshua 21:43-45
43 And the Lord gave unto Israel all the land which he sware to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein.

44 And the Lord gave them rest round about, according to all that he sware unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; the Lord delivered all their enemies into their hand.

45 There failed not ought of any good thing which the Lord had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass.

Welcome Address To SHILOH 2015, FROM GLORY TO GLORY, 2 Corinthians 3:18 By Bishop David O. Oyedepo. Winners Chapel, Living Faith Church Shiloh 2015

Welcome Address To SHILOH 2015, FROM GLORY TO GLORY, 2 Corinthians 3:18 By Bishop David O. Oyedepo. Winners Chapel, Living Faith Church Shiloh 2015

Heaven on Earth greetings in Jesus’ name.
As we all know, our God specializes in doing new things over and again – Is. 43:19/Lam. 3:22-33
Again, we understand that by redemption, we are ordained for continuous and unending progress – Pro. 4:18
We also understand that God is committed to our continuous change of levels as His children– Ps. 84:7

Furthermore, we understand that all the forces that engender change of levels grow and that there is no end to the growth of all spiritual forces responsible for our change of story.

For example, some of the ever-growing forces responsible for our translation from glory to glory include:

The Force of Vision, but there is no end to seeing farther– Gen. 13:14-15/ Hos. 12:10
The Force of Faith, but there is no end to developing one’s faith – 2 Thess. 1:3/ Jn. 14:12
The Force of Revelation, but there is no end to growing in revelation– 2 Cor. 3:18/ 1 Cor. 8:1-2
The Force of Wisdom, but there is no end to growing in wisdom – Rom. 11:33/ Matt. 12:42
The Force of Love, but there is no end to growing in love – Eph. 3:17-19/ 1Cor. 2:9
The Anointing of the Holy Spirit, but there is no end to growing in the anointing – Ezek. 47:1-7/ Jn. 3:34
All of the above implies that:

There is no end to change of levels in God’s agenda for His people – Is. 43:18-19/ Deut. 28:1-13

There is no end to change of levels for the redeemed – Pro. 4:18/ Rom. 5:1

This is because:

As we grow in revelation, we scale new heights – 2 Cor. 3:18/ Is. 60:1-22

As we grow in love, we spring new surprises – Eph. 3:17-19/ 1 Cor. 2:9

As we grow in wisdom, we grow in impact – Rom. 11:33/ Matt. 13:54

As we grow in the anointing, we grow in exploits– Ezek. 47:1-7/Joel 2:23-26

This is why, there is no end to Next Levels for the Redeemed – Pro. 4:18/ Jn. 14:12

Indeed, there is no end to being translated from glory to glory, as we remain committed to walking in the ever-increasing light we access from scriptures.
Therefore, the prophetic theme for Shiloh 2015 is:

FROM GLORY TO GLORY– 2 Corinthians 3:18

We are all expected to get set to access new depth of insight, empowering us to break new grounds, scale new heights, break limits into greater realms of glory, resulting in the rise of giants at Shiloh 2015.

But according to scriptures, we can only be full beneficiaries of Shiloh 2015 if we fully engage in the spiritual preparations required for its maximum impact because the husbandman that labours is ordained to be the first partaker of the fruit – 2 Tim. 2:6

Remain ever blessed.

Jesus is Lord!

David O. Oyedepo

I Did Not Deserve God’s Forgiveness, But He Forgave Me Through Christ Jesus

I Did Not Deserve God’s Forgiveness, But He Forgave Me Through Christ Jesus

Matthew 18:21
Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?”

Peter asked the Lord how often he should forgive his brother. The Lord’s answer to him was simple: Up to 70 times seven times. (Matthew 18:22) In other words, all the time!

“Well, he does not deserve my forgiveness.”

Neither did you deserve God’s forgiveness.

There is not a single person alive or dead who did not break all 10 of God’s commandments. There is no such thing as a “partial sinner” or “great sinner”. All of us were great sinners when Jesus saved us. And when we realize that we are forgiven much, we will love much. (Luke 7:47)

“How can you say that I have broken all of God’s commandments? I have never committed adultery.”

My friend, Jesus said, “If you lust after a woman in your heart, you have already committed adultery with her.” (Matthew 5:28) That is God’s standard. Man looks outward, but God looks inward at the heart. Moreover, if you break one law, you are guilty of all. (James 2:10) So everyone has broken all of God’s commandments. Everyone is a great sinner.

Now, you are no longer a sinner if you have received Christ as your Savior. You are a new creation. But you were a great sinner and God forgave you your huge debt through the death of His Son.

So if someone has wronged you, tell yourself this: “I did not deserve God’s forgiveness, but He forgave me through Christ. So I forgive this person also.” If you say something like, “He does not deserve it,” it makes no sense. Forgiveness is not for people who deserve it. If they deserve anything, it is punishment. But forgiveness means that you extend grace—undeserved favor—like how God extends undeserved favor to you.

Beloved, if you choose to hold on to bitterness, no one suffers but you. You lose your peace, then possibly your health. It is just not worth it. God says to you, “Let go. Forgive them their debts, just as I have forgiven you yours.”

Bible Verses Against The Spirit Of Suicide. God Hates Suicides

Bible Verses Against The Spirit Of Suicide. God Hates Suicides

Suicide is the act of intentionally causing one’s own death. Suicide is often carried out as a result of despair, the cause of which is frequently attributed to a mental disorder such as depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, borderline personality disorder, alcoholism, or drug abuse, as well as stress factors such as financial difficulties, troubles with interpersonal relationships, and bullying.

Thinking about suicide is scary. You may have strong feelings that are hard to deal with. You may feel like things will never be better, but you are not alone. Many people think about suicide. Thinking about suicide does not mean that you will do it. It does not mean that you are “going crazy.” Thinking about suicide is often a sign that you want to escape.

There are ways to feel better. Remember, you are not alone. You can start by talking to someone else. You can talk to a family member or friend you trust.

People who commit suicide feel that their problems are too big for them to control. They think that ending their life is the only solution, but it’s not.

Jesus loves you and He wants to help you!

Bible Verses Against The Spirit Of Suicide

This illness does not lead to death. It is for the glory of God, so that the Son of God may be glorified through it

John 11:4

For godly grief produces a repentance that leads to salvation without regret, whereas worldly grief produces death.
2 Corinthians 7:10

For we were so utterly burdened beyond our strength that we despaired of life itself. Indeed, we felt that we had received the sentence of death. But that was to make us rely not on ourselves but on God who raises the dead. He delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us. On him we have set our hope that he will deliver us again.
2 Corinthians 1:8–10

In the path of righteousness is life, and in its pathway there is no death.
Proverbs 12:28

If the LORD had not been my help,
my soul would soon have lived in the land of silence.
When I thought, “My foot slips,”
your steadfast love, O LORD, held me up.
When the cares of my heart are many,
your consolations cheer my soul.
Psalm 94:17–19

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.
John 10:10–11

To you, O LORD, I cry,
and to the Lord I plead for mercy:
“What profit is there in my death,
if I go down to the pit?
Will the dust praise you?
Will it tell of your faithfulness?
Hear, O LORD, and be merciful to me!
O LORD, be my helper!”
Psalm 30:8–10

Bless the LORD, O my soul,
and all that is within me,
bless his holy name!
Bless the LORD, O my soul,
and forget not all his benefits,
who forgives all your iniquity,
who heals all your diseases,
who redeems your life from the pit,
who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy,
who satisfies you with good

Children Need Role Models. Let’s Talk About Sex

Children Need Role Models. Let’s Talk About Sex

Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

2 Timothy 2:22

Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body.
1 Corinthians 6:18

3 For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:
4 That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;
5 Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God:

1 Thessalonians 4:3-5

I want you to be wise in what is good and innocent in what is evil.

ROMANS 16:19

Have you ever had that wave of paralyzing dread—the one where you fear you’ll come off looking and feeling like a hypocrite if you challenge your child to uphold standards you didn’t keep too well yourself when you were younger?

For many, this feeling is especially acute when talking to children about sexual behavior. I believe this is one of the ways the enemy attempts to silence parents. But don’t allow past failures to prevent you from calling your child to the standard of God’s Word.

After all, every one of us has lied, haven’t we? Yet we still teach our children to tell the truth. When it comes to talking frankly with your preteens and teenagers about what God expects of them sexually, you dare not let the fear of an embarrassing question force you into silence.

Most children won’t ask whether or not you were a virgin prior to marriage. But even if they do—and even if you weren’t—you could answer, “That’s a good question, and someday when you’re an adult, I want to answer you more fully. But for now, that information is off-limits.”

If your child isn’t satisfied and persists in digging further, you may want to admit, “Yes, I made some mistakes I really regret,” but not go into details.

Children need role models, especially in their parents. And it’s better if they don’t know certain things about you when they’re too young to understand.

When your child is grown, in the context of an adult relationship, you can decide how much you want to reveal. But for now, don’t let vivid descriptions become stumbling blocks in their lives and in your discussions.

Keep the subject on God’s standards and on His desire for their welfare and purity. They need to hear from you what God expects of them.

1 Corinthians 10:13 –
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God [is] faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear

Matthew 5:28 –
But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
