The Song Of The Bow At TPH. This Present House This Sunday. The Song Of The Bow At TPH. This Present House This Sunday.

Pastor Chris Delvan will be at This Present House church this Sunday 3rd of April. Chris Delvan is a very lively, enthusiastic person, and such a great singer!. It’s going to be inspiring listening to him again at The Dome, this Sunday.

He pronounced Nigerians as the most forgiving people on planet earth during his last visit to the church. In his words, it is only in Nigeria that someone hits your car and starts to beg for forgiveness, elsewhere, they simply exchange insurance details…. no discussions…. .

So, swing by the Island this weekend, stop at This Present House as Chris Delvan Gwamna unlocks the “Song of the Bow”. Time is 8am and 10am and the venue is The Dome, This Present House, Freedom Way, Lekki Phase 1.

Now, If you are unable to physically…

Congratulations, friends, for completing the first week of our 12 days of Christmas “Discovering Jesus.” devotionals! You’re over one-half of the way there!

Have you noticed how competitive the world is, today? I certainly see it, all the time. Everyone around me always seems to be working toward a better title at their job, or a higher place of authority among their peers and friends. And we all have, in us, the desire to be the ultimate boss of our own space. And while this urge to be the best is not bad, our desire to conquer…

“The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!”— John 1:29
Well, gang, today we are going to get to know John the Baptist, a little bit:
John the Baptist was a community outcast who came out of the desert to lead the way before Jesus came. His mission didn’t make him a very popular guy, but he never stopped, determined that all the world would understand and know Jesus when He came.
And when Jesus finally came, and John the Baptist finally set his eyes upon the Man for whom he had been paving the way, the first name that Jesus was given was “Lamb of God.”
How gentle and innocent is the lamb? The old testament uses…

Biblical Concept On Marriage Biblical Concept On Marriage

And Jesus said to them, “Can the friends of the bridegroom mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them? But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast.” – Matthew 9:15

Let me start off with a question: What is more than exciting to an engaged couple and their loved ones than the arrival of their wedding day?

The moment the groom gets to see his bride for the first time, the reading of the vows, and their first embrace as one bring such a flood of love and completeness that often, even the groom sheds a tear. The purity and joy of the union is so powerful!
Ya’ know, Jesus is called a bridegroom, with us as His bride, many times in the Bible. This imagery is a perfect picture of the anticipation and…

Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets and Jesus Christ Himself being the cornerstone. —Ephesians 2:19-20

If you live in or have ever visited the suburbs of any city, you have probably seen a house being built. The construction process is very complicated and delicate, and the detail with which the contractor and workers must work is amazing! But in order to create the frame of the house and put a roof on and add floors and walls, every architect must first lay the foundation and place the first stone.

Flooring can be replaced, and a roof can be repaired. Even walls can be torn down…

We watched this video in my church today, and I felt it would be beautiful to share it with my readers.

Please watch and pray. Jesus is coming back very soon! In a jiffy He will be back! May GOD have mercy upon us in Jesus Christ Name, I pray, Amen!

After a tragic accident that Killed Caramelo, he found himself being dragged to Hell, even though He was a Christian being used by God. After a strong rebuke from God, Jesus showed him all around Hell, and he witness how many people who claimed to be Christian, wound up in Hell, for the very things the bible warned them of. This testimony will help you avoid the mistakes that Christians make, which get them into Hell.

Memorise.

For with God nothing shall be impossible.
Luke 1:37

Read: Psalm 103:1-5

1 A Psalm of David. Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
4Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

Message.

God the Almighty is the source of greatness. To achieve greatness, you should please God. However it is impossible to please God without faith (Hebrews 11:6). FAITH is therefore THE MASTER KEY TO GREATNESS (Mark 11:22-24). Faith is built up by the constant hearing of God’s word (Romans 10:17). Abraham…

The feeding of the five-thousand is one of the most famous stories in the Bible. When Jesus identified Himself as the Bread of Life, He inserted Himself into…

Jesus Is The Light Of The World.

Prayer's avatarPrayer Haven

John_8-12: Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life John_8-12: Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the World. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” —John 8:12

Imagine walking blindfolded through an unfamiliar dark room; you know that it is almost impossible to navigate from one side to the other without a single scratch, bump, or bruise. Life is a room that we are not able to easily navigate—we have not tried it, before, and the enemy tries to blind fold us and cause us to stumble.

Now imagine walking through the same room with light shining everywhere, eliminating all of the shadows and helping you avoid the chaos and the hurt that would have…

Jesus Is The Good Shepard. Jesus Is The Good Shepherd.

Prayer's avatarPrayer Haven

John_10-11: I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. John_10-11: I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. […] I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. —John 10: 9, 11

Throughout the ancient Mediterranean world, the shepherd was a common sight. The responsibility and attention that it took to tend and care for the sheep was vital. And the shepherd is often used throughout the old testament as a symbol of leadership and the responsibilities that come with it.

When Jesus came, He turned that familiar concept upside down.

Instead of speaking about the leadership and power that a shepherd must have over his flock, He chose to focus on how much the shepherd will sacrifice to protect and care for the sheep.

Jesus Is The Resurrection And The Life.

Prayer's avatarPrayer Haven

John_11-25: Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live John_11-25: Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”. —John 11: 25-26

When we grow up in the world, we are told that we have to do everything that we can before we die, because that is all that we will leave, and that there can be nothing after death.

When we walk with Jesus, even death is not the end! Nothing seems as final as death, and yet Jesus challenges that by declaring Himself the Resurrection and the Life. He stared death in the eye, and death blinked.

When Jesus spoke to Martha in John 11, He…

Jesus spent a great deal of time talking about the importance of forgiving others. He made it clear that forgiveness is to be a characteristic of his followers. So let’s explore what it means to forgive others, the benefits of forgiving and how to forgive.

What It Means To Forgive.

“Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: ‘It is mine to avenge; I will repay,’ says the Lord. (Romans 12:19)

To forgive means to not seek revenge on the one who has hurt you. It means letting go of the anger we harbor inside us and allowing God to deal with him or her as he, in His perfect…

Whatever your religion, I think you will find inspiration in this message by Bishop TD Jakes.

“Let It Go”

There are people who can walk away from you. And hear me when I tell you this! When people can walk away from you: let them walk.

I don’t want you to try to talk another person into staying with you, loving you, calling you, caring about you, coming to see you, staying attached to you. I mean hang up the phone. When people can walk away from you let them walk. Your destiny is never tied to anybody that left.

The Bible said that, they came out from us that it might be made manifest that they were not for us. For had they been of us, no doubt they would have continued with us. [1 John 2:19]

People leave you because they are not joined to…
