The Blessing of God positions people ahead of others.

The Blessing of the LORD is the supernatural empowerment of God unto profitable and successful existence. The Blessing causes a person to live profitably. The Blessing makes a person to exist as a generational asset, not a liability.

When you are blessed, you are exempted from being a loser. Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph, etc., were all blessed, and so they could not be losers.

Now, having defined the Blessing, what then are the products of the Blessing?

The Blessing is a supernatural force for the activation of potential and exhibition of productivity (Genesis 1:28).

When you are blessed, the potentials of your life are released and your productivity explodes. A blessed person cannot be a burden to an organization.

The Blessing impacts the supernatural force that positions people in the realm of generational influence (Genesis 1:28).

When a person is blessed, his/her generation must feel his/her impact. Abraham, Isaac and Jacob were men of great influence and impact by virtue of the Blessing of God on their lives, and their generations felt their impact.

The Blessing positions a person in the realms of dominion (Genesis 1:28).

Genesis 1:28 says,

And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion…

This means, the Blessing is what makes people to take charge in their generations. The Blessing of God positions people ahead of others.

Beloved, make up your mind to exist in the Blessing in order to impact your world.

MESSAGE:

It is God’s plan for His children to enjoy a long and prosperous life. If the enemy however, tries to steal the life of any child of God, such a fellow would become a candidate for a miracle. This was the case of Lazarus – a friend of Jesus Christ, according to John 11:11-13:

“11 These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep. 12 Then said his disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well. 13 Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep.”

The first lesson we should learn in this story is that any friend of Jesus is a candidate for a miracle. The question is: are you a friend of Jesus or an anti-Christ? Jesus Christ is the best friend you can ever have. He is compassionate and caring. You need to have Jesus as your friend before the occurrence of any seemingly hopeless situation, as we see in today’s Bible reading. Martha, a sister of Lazarus said to Jesus:

“…Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.” (John 11:21)

To her, Lazarus’ case was a hopeless one because he had been dead and buried for four days. However, the Hope of the Hopeless said “…Thy brother shall rise again” (John 11:23).

Beloved, I am inviting you to come to Jesus Christ today. Make up your mind that you will be His friend indeed by obeying all His commandments, because He said “Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you” (John 15:14).

What do you need a miracle for? Is it a part of your body, your marriage, business or career that has been touched by the evil one? Jesus Christ is the Miracle-Worker. Make Him your friend today, put your trust in Him and you will receive your desired miracles (John 11:40).

Do you desire to live eternally? Romans 3:23 says “…all have sinned…” To have your eternal life restored, you need the miracle of redemption. The One who can perform this miracle is Jesus Christ the Son of Living God. Run to Him and you shall have eternal life (John 3:16-18).

PRAYER POINT:

Father, I need a miracle. Please intervene in every hopeless situation in my life today and give me a testimony, in the mighty name of Jesus.

MESSAGE:

Life is full of challenges. Do not pray for an easy life; instead for the strength to endure tough times that leads to greatness. No man is born great. True greatness grows out of character and ability to hold on to God in the midst of trials and life’s dificulties.

Job, Abraham, Joseph came to the frontline in the midst of life’s difficulties.

The story of Jabez is found in 1st Chronicles 4:9-10. His life illustrates the power of prayer and determination for change. The background or situation surrounding our birth does not determine our destiny.

Who you are and what you are does not count most of the time but what you allow God to do in you or through you is what matters. God can do whatever He must do to make each of us champions. There are two types of persons on earth: Those Who Are Willing To Pay Any Price To Succeed In Life and Those Who Are Lazy And Unwilling To Pay The Price To Succeed In Life. Jabez fell into the group of those willing to pay any price to succeed. He believed that

every person on earth is created for a purpose and has what it takes to be a champion. Like Paul, he believed that he “can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Phil. 4:12).

Nothing great in life is achieved easily. Success will never look for you: you must go for it. Someone said, “The measure of life.. is not its duration but its donation” or contribution to his generation or the next.

Jabez took some salient steps in handling life’s difficulties the right way. These steps are outlined in verse 10. Jabez called on the God of Israel. He knew where solutions to life’s difficulties are found. His prayer points were very simple: “Oh, that You would bless me indeed.” He asked for enlargement of territory or coast. He prayed for God’s protection, “that Your hand would be with me”. He prayed that God’s hand would “keep me from evil”. He prayed: “he may not cause pain!”

God granted Jabez what he requested. God answers prayers. This brief biography of 63 words in NIV has challenged and changed many lives. It is your turn to share your testimonies.

The Lord Can Restore Your Lost Time And Resources.  Don’t Sweat It; God Can Restore Peace And Order Back To Your Life. If you ever find yourself in a quagmire or in some unpleasant situation, don’t fret or think you’re helpless. Don’t ever say, “This is the worst time of my life!” Christ lives in you, and that is what matters. He’s the restorer of wasted or lost time, effort, resources, energy, etc. He’ll make up for it. No human being or government may ever be able to give back to you what you’ve lost in life, but God can! He’s the God that “quickens the dead,” that is, He gives life to the dead. He can bring back everything and more!

Mark 4:37-41 tells the story of how the disciples set sail to cross to the other side of the lake as the Master had instructed, but shortly afterwards a terrible storm ensued and huge waves buffeted their boat until it was about to sink. They were really in a fix. But Jesus was at the back of the boat, sleeping. Startled at the ravaging storms, the disciples woke Him up and said, “Master, don’t you care that we perish?” Jesus woke up and gave the Word, “Peace, be still,” and there was a great calm. It made no difference how strong the tempest was; what mattered was that the Master was in their boat. Same way, Christ is in you today, and by His Spirit, He’ll cause you to be triumphant and laugh your way through life.

Don’t sweat it; God can restore peace and order back to your life. Stick to the Word; even when you need to accomplish certain things and time isn’t in your favour, don’t push the panic button! Just keep your composure; the God who lives in you is the owner of time. He can restore lost years, months, weeks, days, hours, minutes, seconds, and even microseconds. He can move you forward and farther ahead of your peers and contemporaries in an instant. Hallelujah!

The MESSAGE:

Are you a dweller of the secret place of God? Do you take time to fellowship with God in your closet before your public activities as a child and minister of God? Psalms 16:11 tells us that there is joy and eternal pleasure in His presence. You cannot be there and be a victim of terrors of the night, arrows of the day and the pestilences. He promised that only with your eyes shall you see them but these wouldn’t come near you. Complete safety package, beloved! Awesome God!

Psalms 121 tells us that our God never sleeps nor slumber. He watches over our going and coming, not only now but forever more. Without doubt as a child of God, when you remember all these, there is no cause for alarm. When the enemy threatens, when there’s a rage or harassment of the enemy, go back to the promises of God, regain confidence to move ahead. Joshua got a divine reassurance and he waxed stronger to move the children of Israel ahead, in spite of the siege and opposition confronting them, they entered into the Promised Land and took possession according to the word of God.

Make God your refuge and habitation, like a mother hen. He covers us under His wings. His protection is all day long (Psalms 17:8). When you’re awake or asleep, there is a squad of angelic assistance around you to ensure absolute safety; “they shall bear you up in their hand…” and, we also have the divine immunity to trample upon deadly animals without being hurt (Luke 10:19). Praise God! Can you imagine the divine package already prepared for you and me? But we often fail to enter as a result of fear, doubt, over-confidence and carelessness.

Beloved, delicate times are here, we don’t need to deceive ourselves. The world is becoming increasingly dangerous, and the forces of darkness waxing stronger. But because we have this divine privilege, we do not need to fear, only that we make sure that we’re in the right standing with God. Do you want to enjoy this supernatural covering, then become a friend of God. Delight in staying in His presence, worship and praise Him. Show your gratitude for all He has done and will do for you. Read and keep His word, love Him with all your heart and live a life of godly conduct. Flee from every evil and appearance of sin so that the accuser of brethren will not stand to contend against your divine rights before God. 2 Corinthians 10:6 says you can only avenge all disobedience when your own obedience is complete.

Once more, be reminded that whatever is defiled cannot enter into His presence, do everything possible to remain pure and holy. Continue to pray, be watchful and ask for more grace. God is able to perfect all of us His children in Jesus’ name. Stay connected, remain under the divine canopy and the power of the enemy shall not do you any harm, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

PRAYER POINTS:

1. O God my Father, take me to the rock that is higher than I, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

7. Father, continue to keep and watch over me by Your power, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
