16. O Lord, let the wisdom of the crafty perish in their craftiness, in the name of Jesus.
17. Any evil net cast over my life, tear and ensnare the caster, in the name of Jesus.
18. O Lord, let the wicked stumble by the weight of their wickedness, in the name of Jesus.
19. Every dark agenda hiding behind smiles, be exposed and be judged, in the name of Jesus.
20. O Lord, let evil counsel implode on its author, in the name of Jesus.
21. Any wickedness crying against me for judgment, answer its owner, in the name of Jesus.
22. O Lord, let the rope meant to strangle my joy bind the wicked instead, in the name of Jesus.
23. Every plan fuelled by envy and malice, collapse violently, in the name of Jesus.
24. O Lord, let the wicked fall by their devices, in the name of Jesus.
25. Any pit dug for my destiny, swallow the digger, in the name of Jesus.
26. O Lord, let the burden of guilt crush unrepentant wickedness, in the name of Jesus.
27. Every evil handwriting working against me, return to the sender, in the name of Jesus.
28. O Lord, let the cords of darkness tighten against their owners, in the name of Jesus.
29. Any satanic arrangement sustained by wickedness, scatter now, in the name of Jesus.
30. O Lord, let the wicked reap the harvest of their evil seeds, in the name of Jesus.
31. Every calculated wickedness targeting my household, boomerang, in the name of Jesus.

The second time I did seven days dry fast wasn’t an easy experience for me at all. I’d done the first one, it wasn’t that difficult for me because I felt God led me to do it. The second time, the hunger for the fasting came while someone was preaching. I went to redemption camp with some of my friends and it wasn’t even funny.
It was so hard. I tried to push with my strength. One day as I was taking my bath in the shower, water just entered my mouth and I was refreshed . I opened my mouth and drank more water there and thanked the Lord. In fact, I bathed four times that day so I could drink more water there. People were even wondering why I was always bathing
I called my mom and told her to call me back in three minutes time and lie to me that someone died in our family so I can quit the fasting and return home. When I left redemption camp, the first thing I did was to drink a bottle of cold coke.
The idea and bottom like is simple: If God told you to do it, He’ll provide the strength for it.
The problem is that we’re performance-based and not rest-based.
Jesus was led into the wilderness where he fasted for forty days and forty nights; don’t try it if you’re not led into the wilderness.
People burnout because they’re trying it their power and strong mind. “I am going to start praying from today, 4 hours daily”… My brother, you have not prayed in two years and you want to do four hours? There’s no way you’ll achieve that. It’s not that easy and it’s not just about determination.
Most times, people do these things because of what they hear a preacher say. A preacher can say he fasted for 30 days dry and you’d start planning your own. That’s not how it works. You don’t even know if the preacher is telling lies or saying the truth, you can’t.
And I’m not even downplaying the enabling ability of the Spirit, I’m talking about obedience here. You need to start to discipline your self gradually and stop all these performance-based spiritual activities because they do not procure rewards from the Lord!

OPENING PRAYER: Father, please eradicate from me any traces of arrogance that keep me out of divine order.

BIBLE TEXT: Esther 1:10-19 (KJV)
10 On the seventh day, when the heart of the king was merry with wine, he commanded Mehuman, Biztha, Harbona, Bigtha, and Abagtha, Zethar, and Carcas, the seven chamberlains that served in the presence of Ahasuerus the king,
11 To bring Vashti the queen before the king with the crown royal, to shew the people and the princes her beauty: for she was fair to look on.
12 But the queen Vashti refused to come at the king’s commandment by his chamberlains: therefore was the king very wroth, and his anger burned in him.
13 Then the king said to the wise men, which knew the times, (for so was the king’s manner toward all that knew law and judgment:
14 And the next unto him was Carshena, Shethar, Admatha, Tarshish, Meres, Marsena, and Memucan, the seven princes of Persia and Media, which saw the king’s face, and which sat the first in the kingdom;)
15 What shall we do unto the queen Vashti according to law, because she hath not performed the commandment of the king Ahasuerus by the chamberlains?
16 And Memucan answered before the king and the princes, Vashti the queen hath not done wrong to the king only, but also to all the princes, and to all the people that are in all the provinces of the king Ahasuerus.
17 For this deed of the queen shall come abroad unto all women, so that they shall despise their husbands in their eyes, when it shall be reported, The king Ahasuerus commanded Vashti the queen to be brought in before him, but she came not.
18 Likewise shall the ladies of Persia and Media say this day unto all the king’s princes, which have heard of the deed of the queen. Thus shall there arise too much contempt and wrath.
19 If it please the king, let there go a royal commandment from him, and let it be written among the laws of the Persians and the Medes, that it be not altered, That Vashti come no more before king Ahasuerus; and let the king give her royal estate unto another that is better than she.
LESSON INTRODUCTION: Whatever God has deposited in your life is for a purpose, and you must ensure that you don’t abuse it. We shall examine the life of a queen called Vashti and the consequences of her behaviour.
TEXT REVIEW: Esther 1:10-17
Anything we have and we are, the glory should be credited to the KING who gave us.
Refusal to return glory to our MAKER can bring loss to us and HIS fury, anger to us.
There is an eternal penalty to disobedience.
LESSON OUTLINE ONE: WHO WAS QUEEN VASHTI?
Wife of king Ahasuerus, king of Persia. Esther 1:9-10.
She was beautiful. Esther 1:11
She refused to display her beauty. Esther 1:10-12
She was displaced as queen. Esther 1:15-21
She was replaced by Esther. Esther 2:17
LESSON OUTLINE TWO: CONSEQUENCES OF QUEEN VASHTI’S ACTION.
Queen Vashti was disgraced and dethroned. Esther 1:19.
She was replaced by Esther. Esther 2:17
Her introduction of a strange lifestyle in that kingdom incurred the king’s wrath. Esther 1:16-18
Her relevance and dignity were trashed and buried.
Her beauty, which was celebrated, was mutilated.
Queen Vashti brought shame to herself through pride.
SUMMARY: There is an eternal penalty to disobedience.
CONCLUSION: Do you know that for every Vashti that misbehaves, there is an Esther around the corner? There is no favouritism when man fails to please his Maker. Are you performing your duty effectively? Is your heart not full of pride? Remember that the grace of God over your life is not for pride. Examine your life and desist from actions that can destroy your glorious future!
PRAYER POINTS
Father, please don’t replace me in your glorious plans for this end time.
Father, destroy totally every strange lifestyle in me that can incur your wrath.
Father, every seed of pride in me that can cause me to lose my relevance be consumed by fire.
Father, what is causing people to celebrate God in my life will never be mutilated.
Every opening to bring shame to my life through pride be blocked by fire.

God can not be served or worship in the flesh. A carnal Christian can not please God because:
(1) God is holy, while carnality is opposite of holiness. And we are to worship God in truth and in the spirit.
(2) You obey the demands of the flesh. E.g qurralling, fighting, suspecting people, envy, hatred and so on. Read Galatians 5: 19-21
Romans 8:7-8 says “Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh can not please God.
I pray that we will not be carnal in our walk with God in Jesus name.

When Jesus said His time had not yet come, to change that narrative to ‘Now’, Mary told the servants, “Do whatever He tells you.” Just as persistent faith in God will turn a ‘No’ to a ‘Yes’.
Don’t postpone what God can do for you now until tomorrow because of a lack of faith or disobedience.
Total obedience to His instructions will change a ‘Not yet’ to ‘Right now’.
Act Now!
Take a bold step inspired by God and you will see His ‘Not yet’ becoming ‘Now’.
