INTRODUCTION:

Missions has become a very common word in our churches today. Very often, people have different ideas about the word. Today, we want to discuss some fundamental truths about missions.

WHAT IS MISSION?

Mission could be defined as the efforts of the church to reconcile the whole world back unto God. Lk 24: 47; Acts 1: 8.

Human race was scattered into different tribes, languages, people etc. Gen 11: 5-7, as a result of which God in His fatherly care, began the process of reconciliation of the whole world back to Him. Gen 12: 1-3; Jn 3: 17.

God sent Jesus Christ to reconcile the whole world back to Him through His sacrifice. Jn 3: 16. The church is…

INTRODUCTION:

God has called us into a partnership with Himself. We are His fellow workers. It is a great responsibility and also a great privilege to be in this position.

WHAT IS THE COMMON BUSINESS?

God has called us to the business of establishing and building His kingdom. Mk.1: 14-15. How shall the common business be done?
