According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
The Christian is the fruit of Christ’s suffering. The Bible talks about the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should be revealed (1 Peter 1:11). We’re that glory; we’re His joy and His trophies.
We’re the glory He saw that made Him endure the cross and despise the shame (Hebrews 12:2).
For the Christian, suffering is absolutely unnecessary, because Jesus already paid the price for you to live a glorious life. Everything required for your success…
INTRODUCTION Marriage is the legal relationship between a husband and wife that lasts for a life time. The step taken before going into this journey is very important to prevent pitfall – Gen. 2:21-22. In knowing God’s will, therefore, you do not have to rely on vague hunches and weird rituals. As a child of God, you have His word, it is spirit within you, and His men to guide and counsel you.

INTRODUCTION Counseling is the process of giving pieces of advice or useful suggestions to other individuals by a qualified person in order to help them solve their problems either in the present or for their future. Everyone needs such pieces of advice or counsels at a particular point in time so as to guide against taking steps of error. The Scripture says that “… in the multitude of counselors there is safety.”(Proverbs 11:14b). Therefore, as marriage is a sacred institution that requires divine guidance before being entered into, such counsels should be given a prime of place.
INTRODUCTION A Christian family is an institution where parents are bound together by Christian love, where children are happy and spiritually instructed. It is a home where the Lord Jesus is the supreme head of the home.
A Christian family is one that radiates Christ, welcomes strangers and dispenses hospitality. A Christian family consists of God- fearing parents and children. The Christian family is the bedrock of the nation and the glory of the Christian church. May God grant us Christian families.

Today, especially in the western world, homosexuals and lesbians have gained substantial momentum. They have “come out” as the term goes, left their closets. Through television, radio, newspapers, and magazines, they are preaching their doctrine of tolerance, equality, justice, and love. They do not want to be perceived as abnormal or dangerous. They want to be recognised and accepted socially, politically etc. In this study we shall examine the biblical perspective and the Christian worldview as touching this subject matter. Be…
Perfectly Well.Even in the midst of bleakness, darkness and seeming judgement, there is a reassurance to believers who fear the name of the Lord.We will touch the hem of Jesus’ garment unto perfect healing and wellness of spirit, soul, body, estate, families, careers, businesses, and our Nation by God’s Grace. Amen
CHORUS:
Oh it is Jesus ———— for I Have touched the hem of His garment, His blood has made me whole. (Soweto Gospel Choir).
Heavenly Father we bless Your holy name. We worship You and declare You are the maker of heaven and the earth, the everlasting, eternal One, whose kingdom will never come to an end. Father, thank you for life, for Your mercies, grace and faithfulness. We are grateful for another day and opportunity to come to Your Throne of Grace through Jesus our Lord. Amen.
BIBLE TEXTS:
Mathew 14:33-36 Malachi 4:2
“When they had crossed over, they came to the land of Genesaret. And when the men of that place recognised Him, they sent out into all that surrounding region, brought to Him all who were sick, and begged Him that they might only touch the hem of His garment. And as many as touched it were made perfectly well.” (Mathew 14:34-36)
“But to you who fear my name The Sun of Righteousness shall arise With healing in His wings;
And you shall go out And grow fat like stall-fed calves.” (Malachi 4:2).
Good morning brethren, we thank God for His faithfulness and mercies bringing us to this week of the month of perfection. This morning let us declare that the Lord is the Lord of righteousness, and the Jehovah Raphika our healer. We will ask that we receive perfect healing and wholeness wherever needed as we reach out to Him in faith and humility.
TO NOTE:
Reassurance and encouragement to believers: Malachi 4:2 Even in the midst of bleakness, darkness and seeming judgement, there is a reassurance to believers who fear the name of the Lord. The closing verses of the old testament which end with a description of fear, judgement and dismal times, also declare that the Sun of Righteousness will arise with healing in His wings. The people of God who fear and reverence His name, will enter into, and bask in the sunshine of God’s eternal love. Gracious forgiveness, healing and divine health, are the portion of those who enter into the sunshine of God’s eternal love through salvation by blood of Jesus Christ.
FAITH, WORSHIP AND HUMILITY:
Mathew 14:31-33, Mathew 14:36, Malachi 4:2
As Jesus himself admonished, faith and humility are absolutely essential to enter into the fullness of the grace and blessings available in the Sun of Righteousness. Humility unto just reaching to touch the hem of His garment.
▪Peter had been one of the longest time followers of the Lord, but Jesus described him as a doubter and having little faith. (Mathew14:31-33)
▪Jesus affirmed that it was the faith of the woman with the issue of blood for twelve years that made her whole.
▪The people who encountered Jesus as He landed in the land of Gennesaret seemed to have more readily recognised Him, and demonstrated their faith than those who had been in the boat with Him.
▪The Syrophoenician woman demonstrated absolute humility as she worshiped Jesus. Her daughter was indeed healed .(Mark 7:26)
By God’s Grace, we will not get familiar with the Lord, but readily worship HIM in humility always, as our faith grows.
HEALING TO ALL-ROUND WHOLENESS AND BEING PERFECTLY WELL:
Malachi 4:2b , Mathew 14:36b
▪Those who besot Jesus and touched hem of His garment were made perfectly well. The description of Naaman’s healing (2 Kings 5:11) gives some sense of the perfect wellness available at the hem of Jesus’ garment. Naaman humbled himself to obey the prophet’s instruction after his initial refusal.
▪The woman who had suffered for twelve years and could not be helped by the doctors, received perfect healing and wellness when she was able to touch the hem of Jesus’ garment. (Luke 8:43-48)
▪Malachi 4:2 likens the healed to well fed fat young calves who leap and skip with joy and abandon as released from confinement, restriction and all limitation .(Acts 3:2-11 )
We will touch the hem of Jesus’ garment unto perfect healing and wellness of spirit, soul, body, estate, families, careers, businesses, and our Nation by God’s Grace. Amen.
PRAYER
Father, in the name of Jesus I am bold to come again to your Throne of Grace with:
▪Thanksgiving for life, salvation, grace, mercies, provision, preservation and Your everlasting faithfulness.
▪My requests in faith and humility as I reach today to the hem of garment of Jesus Christ for healing unto perfect wellness of our Nation, and all that ails me personally._ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
▪My requests for forgiveness and help of my unbelief, and doubt. Grace to truly fear Your Name, and worship in spirit and truth. (Mark9:23-24)
▪Grace to return unto You with thanksgiving and testimonies of healings and wellness from the hem of Your garment. (Luke 17:11-19)
Thank you Father for answered prayers. Amen.
Thank You Jesus.
Jesus Loves You.

MESSAGE
The tongue is one of the organs of our body. We use our tongue for tasting and also for speaking.
We could use our mouth to say positive words that could make people happy.
At times also, when we are upset and angry about something or a person, we might at that time say negative words. .
In Numbers 12:1, Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married. They were upset with Moses. God heard their complaints. The Lord then called Moses, Aaron and Miriam. God was not happy that Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses.
Miriam then became leprous. But God had mercy on her and she was healed afterwards.
Also, in the story of Nabal, Abigail and David, in 1 Samuel 25: 2-38, Nabal was a very rich man. He had a wife called Abigail.
David sent ten of his young men to Nabal to greet him, to explain to him that Nabal’s shephard were not hurt when they were with David and his men. David, through his servants then requested Nabal to give him and his servants anything that comes to his hand.
David’s servant spoke to Nabal all that David had told them. Nabal responded back harshly.
When David’s men returned and told David Nabal’s response, David told his men to grind on their swords. David also girded on his sword. He was going to fight (against) Nabal.
Abigail (Nabal’s wife) was told how her husband reviled David’s men. She was told to consider what she would do has harm was determined against Nabal and his household.
Abigail went ahead and begged David. David rescinded on his plan to fight Nabal. Abigail then went to Nabal. He was holding a feast in his house. Nabal’s heart was merry within him because he was very drunk. Abigail told him nothing, little or much, until morning light.
A lesson there is that Abigail restrained from probably reprimanding Nabal for his response to David’s servants. She could have as well told her husband how she helped save his life while he was getting himself drunk. She told him nothing. We can learn from here that we need to bridle our tongue. We can save ourselves a whole lot doing that (James 3: 8-10)
In the morning, when the wine had gone from Nabal, his wife then spoke to him. His heart died within him. After about ten days, the Lord struck Nabal and he died.
Death and life are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21a). The lesson for us today is to by the help of the Holy spirit bridle our tongue.
The grace to use our tongues positively, the Almighty God shall grant unto us in Jesus name. Amen.
CLOSING PRAYERS
1. Father, thank you for Your word.
2. Father, please help us to control our tongues.
3. Father, please help us in all our endeavours today in Jesus name.
4. Personal prayer requests
Thank You Jesus.

Accessing God’s Help. God is our strength.God is our partner. God is the best partner we can ever have or asked for. God’s help is a medium of salvation for men through our testimonies.God’s help can be gotten solely by prayers. Nothing qualifies us for God’s help but God’s grace. Just like salvation is by God’s grace, getting help is also by God’s grace.
OPENING PRAYER:
Our Father in Heaven we bless your Holy Name. We appreciate you for another opportunity to be alive. Thank you for your mercies today. Please accept our thanks in Jesus Name. Amen.
Forgive us our sins and deliver us from all iniquities in Jesus’ name. Amen. Please speak to us this morning and let Your Name alone be glorified. Amen.
ACCESSING GOD’S HELP
PSALMS 121:1 – 8
God’s help is needed to live, not to just survive. Help can be defined as giving or providing what is necessary to accomplish a task or satisfy a need. It can also be said to be a means of contributing strength or rendering assistance. It is giving assistance to someone in need. The ultimate and primary source of help is God. The Bible makes us to understand in Psalms 46:1 that God is our ever-present help.
God being your help can mean a lot of things. It could mean God our strength (Psalms 18:1) because it is His strength that can provide the help we need. It also means God our partner. A partner is someone we can readily go to for assistance or advice on what to do. God is all knowing, He is the best partner we can ever have. Therefore, we are to solely depend on God.
Getting help from God guarantees us victory because we conquer the problem that seemed difficult to overcome (Psalms 118:7). When we depend on God for help, we have peace of mind because the fear of drowning in the problem will be taken away (Psalms 34:4). Getting God’s help increases our trust, dependence and confidence in Him as our source. When we get faced with a more difficult problem, we readily go to our source of help knowing that victory is assured.
God’s help is a medium of salvation for men through our testimonies. People get curious about the impossible made possible which soon leads them to also connect to our source of help (God).
The bible tells us in Matthew 7:7 to ask and we shall receive. God’s help can be gotten solely by prayer (Philippians 4:6). 2 Thessalonians 1:11 shows that we always pray to Him and we always ask for help which means every time we need His help we are to pray. Praying every time is equivalent to asking for help since it shows our total dependency on God.
Nothing qualifies us for God’s help but grace. Just like salvation is by grace, getting help is also by grace (Ephesians 2:8). 2 Corinthians 12:9a says,
“And he said unto me, my grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness”
Meaning we asking for grace shows we know that we have weaknesses and this is a sign of humility which God loves so much. By doing this, we show others the strength of Christ.
Psalms 46:1 says,
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble”.
Mark 13:31 says,
“Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away”.
The above scriptures give us the assurance that all things will pass away but His Word will not, so we can be sure that Psalms 46:1 will be fulfilled. All we just need to do is to ask. Those who trust on the Lord will be saved (Joel 2:32)
PRAYERS
1. Thank God for His faithfulness.
2. Father please forgive me of my shortcomings.
3. Lord help me to access help from you in time of need in Jesus Name. Amen.
4. Please Father don’t abandon me at the present time. Preserve me and my household through Christ Jesus Our Lord and Saviour! Amen! –Psalms 121:8
5. Father send help to me, my family, Nigeria etc because our help comes from You alone. Amen.
6. Personal prayer/request
Thank You Jesus!
