Prayer points against premature death

“The LORD brings death and makes alive; He brings down to the grave and raises up!” 1 Samuel 2:6. O LORD You did say in Your Word, “With long life will satisfy him and show him my salvation”. Psalm 91:16. I pray that You satisfy me and my family with long life and show us Your salvation in Jesus Christ Name, Amen! Take away from among us, the spirit of untimely death. I resist and eject anything or situation that can cause untimely death in my family in Jesus Most powerful Name – Amen!

O LORD, The LORD of lords, grant me and my family Your divine favour that men and women, boys and girls that we shall meet today will all favour us in Jesus Christ Name, Amen!

Thank You LORD for this morning, thank You for Your protection over my life and that of my family, thank You for all the dreams we had over night, I ask that You make both the bad and the good dreams that we had to work together for our good throughout the day for it is written, “All things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose,” Romans 8:28. Job 20. Zophar’s sermon on the wicked man.

(Show chapter frame)

1 Then answered Zophar the Naamathite, and said, 2 Therefore do my thoughts cause me to answer, and for this I make haste. 3 I have heard the check of my reproach, and the spirit of my understanding causeth me to answer. 4 Knowest thou not this of old, since man was placed upon earth, 5 That the triumphing of the wicked is short, and the joy of the hypocrite but for a moment? 6 Though his excellency mount up to the heavens, and his head reach unto the clouds; 7 Yet he shall perish for ever like his own dung: they which have seen him shall say, Where is he? 8 He shall fly away as a dream, and shall not be found: yea, he shall be chased away as a vision of the night. 9 The…

Job 21. Job’s discourse on the wicked.

(Show chapter frame)

1 But Job answered and said, 2 Hear diligently my speech, and let this be your consolations. 3 Suffer me that I may speak; and after that I have spoken, mock on. 4 As for me, is my complaint to man? and if it were so, why should not my spirit be troubled? 5 Mark me, and be astonished, and lay your hand upon your mouth. 6 Even when I remember I am afraid, and trembling taketh hold on my flesh.

7 Wherefore do the wicked live, become old, yea, are mighty in power? 8 Their seed is established in their sight with them, and their offspring before their eyes. 9 Their houses are safe from fear, neither is the rod of God upon them. 10 Their bull gendereth, and faileth not; their cow calveth, and casteth not her…

Job 22. Eliphaz accuses Job of wickedness.

(Show chapter frame)

1 Then Eliphaz the Temanite answered and said, 2 Can a man be profitable unto God, as he that is wise may be profitable unto himself? 3 Is it any pleasure to the Almighty, that thou art righteous? or is it gain to him, that thou makest thy ways perfect? 4 Will he reprove thee for fear of thee? will he enter with thee into judgment?

5 Is not thy wickedness great? and thine iniquities infinite? 6 For thou hast taken a pledge from thy brother for nought, and stripped the naked of their clothing. 7 Thou hast not given water to the weary to drink, and thou hast withholden bread from the hungry. 8 But as for the mighty man, he had the earth; and the honourable man dwelt in it. 9 Thou hast sent widows away…

1 Then Job answered and said, 2 Even to day is my complaint bitter: my stroke is heavier than my groaning. 3 Oh that I knew where I might find him! that I might come even to his seat! 4 I would order my cause before him, and fill my mouth with arguments. 5 I would know the words which he would answer me, and understand what he would say unto me. 6 Will he plead against me with hisgreat power? No; but he would put strength in me. 7 There the righteous might dispute with him; so should I be delivered for ever from my judge.

8 Behold, I go forward, but he is not there; and backward, but I cannot perceive him: 9 On the left hand, where he doth work, but I cannot…

Job 24. Job complains of violence on the earth.

(Show chapter frame)

1 Why, seeing times are not hidden from the Almighty, do they that know him not see his days? 2 Some remove the landmarks; they violently take away flocks, and feed thereof. 3 They drive away the ass of the fatherless, they take the widow’s ox for a pledge. 4 They turn the needy out of the way: the poor of the earth hide themselves together. 5 Behold, as wild asses in the desert, go they forth to their work; rising betimes for a prey: the wilderness yieldeth food for them and for their children. 6 They reap every one his corn in the field: and they gather the vintage of the wicked. 7 They cause the naked to lodge without clothing, that they have no covering in the cold. 8 They are wet with the…

Proverbs 10. A wise son and a foolish son.

(Show chapter frame)

1 The proverbs of Solomon. A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother.

2 Treasures of wickedness profit nothing: but righteousness delivereth from death. 3 The LORD will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish: but he casteth away the substance of the wicked.

4 He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.

5 He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame.

6 Blessings are upon the head of the just: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.

7 The memory of the just is blessed: but the name of the wicked shall rot.

8 The wise in heart will receive commandments: but…

The Holy Spirit Changes Minds

e [the Holy Spirit] comes, he will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness.”

John 16:8, NIV

Jesus Christ was crucified as a criminal, as a blaspheming heretic, as an enemy of Rome and of God. What changed the world’s opinion of Him? Why does He go down in history as a good Man? Or a great Prophet? Why do people put their trust in a crucified Jew two thousand years after He lived on earth? The change in opinion was brought about by none other than the Holy Spirit Who convinced the world of the truth – that Jesus Christ was not only crucified, but that He rose from the dead! He’s alive! Jesus announced to His disciples that “when He [the Holy Spirit] comes, He will convict…

The Holy Spirit who will uplift you and give

you a sense of purpose.

There is life in the Spirit.

Job 33:4 The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the

Almighty hath given me life. KJV.

Be energized in your inner man by the Spirit. I know that we are

alive because we have blood running through our bodies. However

there is much more to being alive. Because of the Spirit of God

in us we have passion for life. We are excited about being alive.

If that is not how you feel about your life today I challenge you

to pay attention to the Holy Spirit who will uplift you and give

you a sense of purpose.

Emmanuel! Immanuel! Sermon and prayer points by Pastor E.A. Adeboye at Festival Of Life Manchester, UK . RCCG.

RCCG FOL Manchester July 2013Bible Text: Matthew 1:22-23.

Emmanuel means GOD WITH US. ‘Us’ simply means you and I. Tonight we will focus on ‘God’ and ‘with’.

Who is God? If you go through the scriptures you find out several things about God.

1) God is the creator (Genesis 1:1, John 1:1,3). If He is the creator, it means the ability to recreate. In John 9:1-7, Jesus healed a man who was born blind. If there is a part of your body doctors have confirmed dead, tonight it will be recreated in Jesus name. Amen.

He is also the creator of destinies! He can recreate destinies. For anyone destined for tragedy, the Almighty God will change that destiny in Jesus name! Amen.
