Terrorism is a major challenge today in many nations of the world. One of the weapons of the spirit of anti-Christ against the church and the poor in the society is violence. We need to cry unto God in prayer for His protection and divine intervention.

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Father we thank You for being our light and salvation, we thank You for being the strength of our lives, accept our thanks in Jesus name. Amen. Psalm 27:1

2. Father we thank You for always being a stumbling block to our enemies in Jesus name. Amen. Psalm 27:2

3. Oh God arise and let all the terrorists in our country be scattered. Amen. Psalm 68:1

4. Let those who hate Your name flee out of our nation in Jesus name. Amen. Psalm 68:1

5. Father dry up the financial resources of all the terrorists and their sponsors in Jesus name. Amen. Isaiah 54:17

Reading about Sylvester Oromoni Jr’s death makes me very mad, because it was a very possible preventable death.

So, the parent knew he was been bullied to the point that he was afraid for his life and they redrew only his sister and left him “The Indestructible One!” there.

Now he is dead!

And now,I am very very pissed with his parents!

How can a parent that pays one million naira school fees per term, be so, full of inferiority complex!

For in Christ Jesus we live and move and have our being. I live and walk in Christ where there’s no sin, sickness, disease, failure, poverty, defeat, weakness or death.

For in Him we live and move and have our being; as even some of your [own] poets have said, For we are also His offspring (Acts 17:28 AMPC)

Ephesians 2:4-6 says, “But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.” When Jesus was raised from the dead, we were raised together with Him and made to sit together with Him in heavenly places.

Therefore, we’re seated with Christ right now, at home in Him and with Him. No wonder we’re told, “…whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him” (Colossians 3:17). Then Colossians 2:6 says, _“As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him.”

Now that we’re in Him, seated together with Him, we must live by and through Him. We must live and walk in the Name of Jesus. How do you live and walk in His Name? It evidently conveys to you that His Name is a place, an environment. When you were born again, you were born into Christ; you were immersed, baptized into Christ; therefore, you’re in Christ.

Understand the difference between “you in Christ” and “Christ in you.” “Christ in you” is about your life, your glory. “You in Christ” is about your environment, where you live. So now that you’re in this environment, live therein. Transact your affairs in, and from, Christ twenty-four hours a day! Hallelujah!

I live and walk in Christ where there’s no sin, sickness, disease, failure, poverty, defeat, weakness or death. I enjoy divine health, joy, peace, success, strength, prosperity, beauty and life forevermore, twenty-four hours a day, all year round! “Rooted and built up in Him, and established in faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving” (Colossians 2 v 7).

Good morning beloveth; it’s a new day. Are you rooted and grounded in Christ? When a seed falls on the ground, the birds of the air can come and pick it up. The seeds that fell by the wayside in the parable of the sower were lost to birds (Matthew 13 v 18-23). How you prepare your heart to receive the word of God will determine the type of soil it will fall on and the fate it will meet.

In every Church service the Word of God that has been empowered by the Holy Spirit to transform certain lives still falls on the way side and is lost to the birds of the air operating as distractions, discussions during the service, wandering thoughts, sorrow and heaviness; analysis of the grammatical errors in a message; sleeping and dozing, visiting the loo during the message etc.

Until you stop those birds, you cannot possess your possessions. Besides, there are some people who weep before God over a particular sin they are committing but before the following month they will be back to their vomit. If you are in such a situation, the power of God will break you free today in Jesus name. Every yoke of besetting sin in your life is destroyed (Hebrews 12 v 1). The Lord is releasing power to live a victorious Christian life in you. God wants you to be rooted and grounded in Him. Have your roots and tentacles established in His Word?

In Ruth 1 v 6-18, when Naomi said she was returning home, both Ruth and Orpah vowed to return with her. But after Naomi made them see the uncertainty that awaited them, Oprah went back to her idols, but Ruth insisted on going with her. She had obviously fallen in love with her God. She was ready to lose everything-her people, friends, known community, etc.., so that she could continue to fellowship with Naomi’s God. She was rooted and grounded in her love for Naomi’s God. She ended up becoming a great grand mother of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Beloved, I pray, it pays to be rooted in Christ. Are you? When after several years of trusting God for a particular blessing, e.g. a child, pressures comes from all sides to return to the idols you left several years ago, what do you do? If you go back to your idols, you will be history like Orpah. You will be lost. But if you hold on firmly to the Lord inspite of the pressure, by the time He performs your miracle, even those persecuting you will shout the loudest and become SAVED. You were born to win not to quit from the right path!

People hear different things during a sermon. Some hear the voice, some the words that can transform their lives for better and turn them to Christ, others the grammatical errors. Some hear the voice of a hungry stomach and others the voice of an after service appointment. What do you hear?

Please Prioritize Your Friendship, not everybody is allowed inside the Holy of Holies! Be Wise! Be Guarded!

I just remembered now! I have a friend! A very good friend! I love him like a brother! Him and all his siblings love me too, as “Their Adopted Senior Brother”

The first day he introduced me to their mum, he said: “Mum, meet your son! Our adopted senior brother from another parent.” His siblings chorused: “True Mum! Our Senior Brother!” The old lady laughed so hard, we caught her from falling to the ground!

But that’s not where I am going to this evening!

A couple of years back, when I was a bachelor and he was an undergraduate, he would always call me: “Big Bros! Where are you”

“At home”

“Okay! am coming to WASTE 2 hours in your house”

“Am coming to WASTE 4 hours in your house!”

“Am coming to WASTE this evening or this weekend in your house”.

And his choice of words will infuriate me! I will curse him! I will abuse! I will warn him!

No matter angry I was with him, he will find a way to brush it aside and apologize! But will still repent the same words some other time.

And this went on for like 3 years! I will always blame myself for picking his calls or for not slamming the door on his face.

Fast forward 5 years later, he graduated! Started hustling! God picked his calls almost immediately. In 4 years he has bought and used up to 5 different cars, could afford some quality luxuries! Became successful in his businesses.

And in 5 years he has refused to show or invite any of his old friends to his new apartment nor his office. He will always make excuses! He once told me, his house is his sanctuary, he doesn’t need disturbance at all there! His office is for business transactions, not a meeting point for friends.

But a couple of years back, he would call to inform me that he is coming to while away time in my own sanctuary! Placing demands at my own expenses.

I still love him like a friend and a younger brother! Will always do! And I know he will always value our friendship and brotherliness!

Their mother still hugs and prays for me. His siblings still honor me as their “Senior Bros!”

But we have prioritized our friendship!

Please Prioritize Your Friendship, not everybody is allowed inside the Holy of Holies!

Be Wise! Be Guarded!

What do you have to do to remain number one? Be a diligent student by studying your books and doing all your assignments. Also, pay attention to your teacher in class, and refuse to be distracted. This is how to get the best from school, and remain at the. top.

The Word Of God! I Am Full Of Strength Because Christ Is In Me; He’s My Glory, Righteousness, Wisdom, Success And Prosperity. Praise God Forevermore. Amen.

Mark 11:23 NIV

“I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him”

Life produces for you a garden of all the words you’ve said and will ever say. Get this because this is the truth, and there’s no middle ground! As a Christian, you must keep talking the Word only; if you want to live in health, talk health. If you’re going to walk in righteousness and always produce fruits of righteousness, then talk righteousness; every so often, consciously declare, “I’m the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. I produce fruits of righteousness.”

You’ve got to say it to live it. You might say, “What if I haven’t been saying anything? What will my life be like?” You’d still have a garden; unfortunately, it’ll be full of “weeds” because you’d have left your garden unattended, and weeds will definitely grow of their own accord. So, keep yourself in victory, dominion and prosperity with your words.

God already did all that’s necessary for you to have and enjoy life in Christ to the full, through the power of the Holy Spirit. It’s your responsibility now to keep things that way, and it’s mainly by your confession. Constantly affirm that you’ve got a great life. Declare that you’ve been called to glory and virtue; it’s a life of power and moral excellence. Make these declarations every day. There isn’t anything you don’t have (1 Corinthians 3:21; 2 Peter 1:3), and there isn’t anything you can’t do (Philippians 4:13). Therefore, always declare abundance, supernatural provisions, strength, possibilities and victories, and your life will go in that direction only.

Everything You Will Ever Need In Life Is In Christ, And Christ Is In You; To Have Christ Is To Have Everything. Christ resides in your heart. You have already been blessed with all spiritual blessings in Christ Jesus.

To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27).

If you’ve ever been to Israel and the Old City of Jerusalem, you’d have heard of or visited the Western Wall, or Wailing Wall. It’s one of the most significant historic sites for the Jewish people. While thousands of people from different nationalities throng the Wailing Wall every year to relish this archeological masterpiece, others religiously journey there to say or recite prayers, hoping their prayers will be answered faster at this site.

No doubt, the Wailing Wall is an iconic religious site, but God isn’t more there than He is in you. Some are carried away by the idea that if they pray at, let’s say a “prayer mountain,” a forest, or the Wailing Wall, God will hear them more. If that were true, Jesus would have taught about it; He’d have instructed us to pray at the Wailing Wall, but He didn’t.

The Apostles would have said so too, but they didn’t. In fact, Jesus said, “…believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father…But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him” (John 4:21-23).

The inspiration and blessing of the New Testament is in your heart; it’s with you everywhere. The Spirit, through the Apostle Paul, reveals the truth about Christianity—the mystery that was hidden from ages and from generations. That mystery is “Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:26-27). This is God’s vision; that’s the reason for the New Testament. Everything you’d ever need in life is in Christ, and Christ is in you; to have Christ is to have everything.

Henceforth, look into your heart, for that’s where all the answer is. Christ resides in your heart. You’ve already been blessed with all spiritual blessings in Christ (Ephesians 1:3). The totality of the character and nature of the man Jesus, all that He represents—His life, power, wisdom, majesty, glory and grace—are all

tabernacled in you. This is the blessing of the New Testament. Praise God!

CONFESSION:

Christ lives in me and He’s endued me with all grace and ability to reign and rule in life. Christ in me is everything; He’s my assurance of a glorious, prosperous, triumphant and quality life. Amen.

God’s Word is powerful enough to bring anyone out of any situation, no matter how difficult it seems. The Word of God can do so much more for you.

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Joshua 1:8

God’s Word is powerful enough to bring anyone out of any situation, no matter how difficult it seems. The Word made old Abraham a father; barren Sarah a mother; Joseph, a young prisoner, a Prime Minister; David, a teenager, a king; Solomon the wisest king in Israel (before Jesus); and so on. The Word can do so much more for you.

Therefore, go for the Word through diligent study and meditation, just like you re doing now reading your devotional. As you do, it’ll get into your spirit and make you all it talks about.

God has put His Word in our hearts and in our mouths and sent us as saviours to our world. Put God’s Word into action today.

You have heard [these things foretold], now you see this fulfillment. And will you not bear witness to it? I show you specified new things from this time forth, even hidden things [kept in reserve] which you have not known (Isaiah 48:6 AMPC).

When you read our opening scripture further into the 7th verse, you’d observe that the “specified new things” Isaiah spoke of were created by the prophetic word: “They are created now [called into being by the prophetic word]…” (Isaiah 48:7 AMPC).

The prophetic word is the “rhema” of God that’s put in your mouth, words that you speak for God. These are utterances the Lord gives you by His Spirit; they come from the inner recesses of your spirit.

Remember, your spirit was created by the Word of God, and the Word lives in you (1 Peter 1:23).

Also, the Word, the “logos” of God that dwells inside you sees, understands and knows all things: “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do” (Hebrews 4:12-13). How then do you bring these things that the Word sees, understands and knows, to pass? It’s by the prophetic words you utter by the Holy Spirit that’s in you.

The Bible says, “And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy…” (Acts 2:17). This doesn’t only apply to your personal life; you can direct the very course of this world by the prophetic word. For example, when the governments of nations, leaders of industries, and others gang up against the Church, take up words from the Spirit and utter them in faith. We’re not hamstrung; we know what to do to alter events and cause things to align with God’s perfect will! He sent us as His witnesses and as His ministers.

God has put His Word in our hearts and in our mouths and sent us as saviours to our world, just like Obadiah, the prophet, said, “And saviours shall come up on mount Zion…” (Obadiah 1:21). Through your words—the prophetic word—make things right in your life, in your home, in your ministry, job, business, city, and nation. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

I declare that Jesus is Lord over all; He’s Lord over and above every government and authority and power and lordship and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in the one about to come.

Christ reigns and rules in and through me and in all the world. Amen.
