There is need for you to closely and spiritually examine the Church you are fellowshipping whether it is that of Thyatira.

1-Corinthians_14-33: For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

The Corrupt Church.
18 “And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write,

‘These things says the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet like fine brass:
19 “I know your works, love, [b]service, faith, and your [c]patience; and as for your works, the last are more than the first.
20 Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols.
21 And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not repent.
22 Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds.
23 I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works.
Revelation 2:18-23

The contents or subject-matter of the letter written to the Church in Thyatira includes:

1. The honourable character and commendation Christ gives of this Church, Ministry, and people and this given by one who was no stranger to them, but well acquainted with them and with the principles from which they acted.

In this Church, Christ makes honourable mention of:
a.) Their charity, either more general, a disposition to do good to all men, or more special, to the household of faith: there is no religion where there is no charity.

b.) Their service, their ministration, this respects chiefly the officers of the Church, who had laboured in the word and doctrine.

c.) Their faith, which was the grace that actuated all the rest, both their charity and their service.

d.) Their patience for those that are most charitable to others, most diligent in their places, and most faithful, must yet expect to meet with that which will exercise their patience.

e.) Their growing fruitfulness.
Their last works were better than the first.
This is an excellent character when others had left their first love, and lost their first zeal, these were growing wiser and better. It should be the ambition and earnest desire of all Christians that their last works may be their best works, that they may be better and better every day and best at last.

2. A faithful reproof for what was amiss.
This is not so directly charged upon the Church itself as upon some wicked seducers who were among them. The Church’s fault was that she connived too much at them.

a.) These wicked seducers were compared to Jezebel, and called by her name. Jezebel was a persecutor of the Prophets of the Lord, and a great Patroness of idolaters and false Prophets.
The sin of these seducers was that they attempted to draw the servants of God into fornication, and to offer sacrifices to idols. They called themselves prophets, and so would claim a superior authority and regard to the Ministers of the Church.

Two things aggravated the sin of these seducers, who, being one in their spirit and design, are spoken of as one person:

1.] They made use of the name of God to oppose the truth of His doctrine and worship this very much aggravated their sin.

2.] They abused the patience of God to harden themselves in their wickedness. God gave them space for repentance, but they repented not.

Please note that Repentance is necessary to prevent a sinner’s ruin.
And it requires time, a course of time, and time convenient it is a great work, and a work of time.
Where God gives space for repentance, He expects fruits meet for repentance.
Where the space for repentance is lost, the sinner perishes with a double destruction.

Now why should the wickedness of this Jezebel be charged upon the Church of Thyatira? Because that Church suffered her to seduce the people of that city.

But how could the Church help it?
They had not, as a Church, civil power to banish or imprison her but they had ministerial power to censure and to excommunicate her: and it is probable that neglecting to use the power they had made them sharers in her sin.

The punishment of this seducer, this Jezebel, Revelation 2:22-23, in which is couched a prediction of the fall of Babylon.

a.) I will cast her into a bed of pain, not of pleasure, into a bed of flames and those who have sinned with her shall suffer with her but this may yet be prevented by their repentance.

b.) I will kill her children with death, that is, the second death, which does the work effectually, and leaves no hope of future life, no resurrection for those that are killed by the second death, but only to shame and everlasting contempt.

The design of Christ in the destruction of these wicked seducers was the instruction of others, especially of His Churches:
All the Churches shall know that I am He that searcheth the reins and the hearts and I will give to every one of you according to your works.
God is known by the judgments that He executes and, by this revenge taken upon seducers.

He would make known,
1). His infallible knowledge of the hearts of men, of their principles, designs, frame, and temper, their formality, their indifference, their secret inclinations to symbolize with idolaters.

2). His impartial justice, in giving every one according to his work, that the name of Christians should be no protection, their churches should be no sanctuaries for sin and sinners.

There is need for you to closely and spiritually examine the Church you are fellowshiping whether it is that of Thyatira.
There is need to discern whether your so called prophetess is a Jezebel who is seducing you and other children of God to commit fornication.

2 Corinthians 6:18 instruct you to come out of them so that you will not partake of their punishment.

Man of God, are you ministering the truth of God’s word to liberate those who have been ensnared by the false doctrine of once save is forever saved or you conniving with them?
Repent now.

May the Lord God open our eyes of understanding to see what we are eating as the spiritual food, whether it is a food offered to idols or not in Jesus name.

Prepare now to go to the nearest Bible believing Church to fellowship with your maker and I believe He will speak to you the more.

1-John_5-4-3: For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith

1. Father any power occupying my place of destiny uproot and destroy them by fire. Number 13:28-29

2. Father by Your Mighty Powers subdue all enemies including my flesh as well as poverty, hardship, sickness, loneliness, obstacles, stagnation etc Joshua 14:12

3. Father please go before me and give me victory over all enemies attacking me or my loved ones destroy their chariots and their horses and let them flee like chaff before the wind. Judges 4:14-15.

4. Father all power belongs to you, I receive power to overcome all satanic operation of the enemy against my family. Judges 7:2

5. Father I receive victory over sin. Strengthen me Lord to overcome temptations and all the works of Satan. 1 John 3:8-9

Mark 3:14

2 Timothy 2:2.

In his exhortation to Timothy, Apostle Paul enjoined him to train up others to succeed him in the ministry of the gospel, 2 Timothy 2:2.
He must instruct others, and train them up for the ministry, and so commit to them the things which he had heard; and he must also ordain them to the ministry, lodge the gospel as a trust in their hands, and so commit to them the things which he had heard.

There are two things he must have an eye on in ordaining ministers: – Their fidelity or integrity hence he was to commission only the faithful men, who will sincerely aim at the glory of God, the honour of Christ, the welfare of souls, and the advancement of the kingdom of the Redeemer among men, and also their ministerial ability.

They must not only be knowing themselves, but be able to teach others also, and be apt to teach.

Here we have:

1. Timothy was charged to commit to others what he had heard of the Apostle among many witnesses. He must not deliver any thing (heresy) besides, and what Paul delivered to him and others he had received of the Lord Jesus Christ.

2. He was to commit them as a trust, as a sacred deposit, which they were to keep, and to transmit pure and uncorrupt unto others.

3. Those to whom he was to commit these things must be faithful, that is, trusty men, and who were skillful to teach others.

4. Though men were both faithful and able to teach others, yet these things must be committed to them by Timothy, a minister, a man in office; for none must intrude themselves into the ministry, but must have these things committed to them by those already in that office.

Apart from the willingness of the leaders to share responsibilities, the delegate must be willing to take up the responsibilities.

Before you can be delegated, there is need for you to learn of him who is delegating you, hence Jesus said in Matthew 11:29 learn of me.

To learn of Jesus, you must be born again. How?
Come to Him as you are, with the load of sins upon your head and exchange that load of sins for His REST. Matthew 11:28.

My prayer is that we shall be found faithful and worthy of the ministry being committed unto us in Jesus name.

The Power Of The Holy Communion.

What Is The Holy Communion?

The Holy Communion, known also as the Lord’s Supper, represents the greatest expression of God’s love for His people.

Two items are used in the Holy Communion—The Bread which represents Jesus’ body that was scourged and broken before and during His crucifixion, and The Cup which represents His shed blood.

Genesis 9:4
But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.

Genesis 37:22
And Reuben said unto them, Shed no blood, but cast him into this pit that is in the wilderness, and lay no hand upon him; that he might rid him out of their hands, to deliver him to his father again.

Exodus 12:7
And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.

Exodus 23:18
Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leavened bread; neither shall the fat of my sacrifice remain until the morning.

When Jesus walked on earth, He was vibrant, and His body was full of life and health. He was never sick. But before Jesus went to the cross, He was badly scourged by the Roman soldiers, and His body was torn as He hung on the cross.

At the cross, God also took all our sicknesses and diseases and put them on Jesus’ originally perfect and healthy body, so that we can walk in divine health. That is why the Bible says by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24).

In Luke 22:20, Jesus tells us that the cup is the “new covenant in My blood”, and the apostle Paul tells us that the blood of Jesus brings forgiveness of sins (Colossians 1:14, Ephesians 1:7).

WHY DO BELIEVERS PARTAKE OF THE HOLY COMMUNION?

Besides being born again in Christ, a healthy body and mind are the greatest blessings anyone can have. And the Holy Communion is God’s ordained channel of healing and wholeness.

On the night that He was betrayed, Jesus ate His last supper with His disciples. And knowing what He would accomplish through His sacrifice, He instituted the Holy Communion (Luke 22:19–20, 1 Corinthians 11:24–25).

His loving instruction is that we are to remember Him as we partake of the Holy Communion. Jesus wanted us conscious of how His body was broken for our wholeness, and His blood was shed for the forgiveness of our sins. And whenever we partake in this consciousness, we “proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes” (1 Corinthians 11:26).

Today, when we partake of the bread, we are declaring that Jesus’ health and divine life flows in our mortal bodies. And when we partake of the cup, we are declaring that we are forgiven and have been made righteous. Jesus’ blood gives us right standing before God, and we can go boldly into God’s presence (Hebrews 4:16). When we pray, we can be sure that God hears us!

HOW DO I PARTAKE OF THE HOLY COMMUNION?

Before you partake, remember that the Holy Communion is not a ritual to be observed, but a blessing to be received.

Because it is not a ritual, there is no prescribed bread or special drink required. In the Last Supper, Jesus used whatever He had at the table—bread commonly eaten at supper, and whatever they were drinking.

TO PARTAKE, FIRST, HOLD THE BREAD IN YOUR HAND AND SAY:

Thank You, Father, for the gift of Your Son. By the stripes that fell on His back, my body is healed from the crown of my head to the very soles of my feet. Every cell, every organ, every function of my body is healed, restored, and renewed. In Jesus’ name, I believe and I receive. [Eat the bread.]

NEXT, TAKE THE CUP IN YOUR HAND AND SAY:

Lord Jesus, thank You for Your precious blood. Your sin-free, disease-free, poverty-free life is in Your blood. And Your shed blood has removed every sin from my life. Through Your blood, I am forgiven of all my sins—past, present and future—and made completely righteous. Today, I celebrate and partake of the inheritance of the righteous, which is preservation, healing, wholeness and provision. Thank You Lord Jesus, for loving me. Amen. [Drink the wine.]

May God help and give us a heart of love.

John_15-12: My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you

Love, Love and Love. It is the commandment of God. The basic commandment God gave man is LOVE. Love God and love your neighbor! Sometimes when I think about this I get more and more convinced that lack of any of these two commandments can possibly deprive one eternity no matter how hard one has worked in serving God and attending services. You will agree with me that keeping these two commandments will make the earth a better place and lack of it is the course of most if not all the problems we are experiencing on Earth. May God help and give us a heart of love!

1 Corinthians 13:4-8
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away.

David and Mephibosheth
9 David asked, “Is there anyone still left of the house of Saul to whom I can show kindness for Jonathan’s sake?”

2 Now there was a servant of Saul’s household named Ziba. They summoned him to appear before David, and the king said to him, “Are you Ziba?”

“At your service,” he replied.

3 The king asked, “Is there no one still alive from the house of Saul to whom I can show God’s kindness?”

Ziba answered the king, “There is still a son of Jonathan; he is lame in both feet.”

4 “Where is he?” the king asked.

Ziba answered, “He is at the house of Makir son of Ammiel in Lo Debar.”

5 So King David had him brought from Lo Debar, from the house of Makir son of Ammiel.

6 When Mephibosheth son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, came to David, he bowed down to pay him honor.

David said, “Mephibosheth!”

“At your service,” he replied.

7 “Don’t be afraid,” David said to him, “for I will surely show you kindness for the sake of your father Jonathan. I will restore to you all the land that belonged to your grandfather Saul, and you will always eat at my table.”

8 Mephibosheth bowed down and said, “What is your servant, that you should notice a dead dog like me?”

‘Prayers:

• Thank God for creating you wonderfully and beautifully in His nature. Ps. 139:14.

• Father!!! From today onward, constantly; let there be a divinely inspired voice in my favour.

• Decree to your destiny: My waiting and wasting time is over. My gestation period is over. My season of reward has come in Jesus name. Num.14:28.

• Lo-debar means where useless people are dumped; say Father!! Relocate my destiny from the habitation of unfortunate people to the palace where I will fulfill my destiny in Jesus Name.

• Almighty Father! Please, show kindness to me and change my status for the better in Jesus Name.

• Oh Lord! Whoever that is lording (ZIBA) over my inheritance, turn them suddenly to be the one serving me in Jesus Name.

• Holy Spirit! Wherever I have disqualified myself, calling myself a ‘dead dog”, I cancel such errors and I am restored to my expected position in Jesus name.

• Father!! Lift up my head from affliction and cause me to live at the palace of my destiny from today in Jesus name.

• From today onward, I connect my destiny with the King of kings. Come forth and show me mercy in Jesus name.

21 Afterward Jesus appeared again to his disciples, by the Sea of Galilee. It happened this way:

Introduction:
Mission could be defined as sending of someone or people by the local church to another part of the country or to a foreign country to spread the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Church adopts this channel to reconcile the world back to God based on the commandment of God.

Mission And You.
1. God depends on you, having been saved, to go out to the world and preach the gospel. Mark 13:10
And the gospel must first be preached to all nations.

Acts 13:47
For this is what the Lord has commanded us:

“‘I have made you a light for the Gentiles,
that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.’

2. It is the responsibility of today’s church to send out believers including you to o and win back all souls heading for perdition.
Isaiah 49:6
He says:
“It is too small a thing for you to be my servant
To restore the tribes of Jacob
And bring back those of Israel I have kept.
I will also make you a light for the Gentiles,
That my salvation may reach to the ends of the earth.”

A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.

3. Jesus Christ started and completed this work of redemption on the cross of Calvary John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

The Fellowship of the Believers
42 They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.
16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.
17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues;
18 they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”

5. God does not expect us to shy away from saving other; freely we are given, and freely He expects us to preach salvation to others.

Then Jesus told them this parable:
4 “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?
5 And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders
6 and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’
7 I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.

Father!!! Thank you God for redeeming my life from darkness into your marvelous light.

Thank you lord for your mercies shown to me despite the rotten past life I have lived.

Father!!! Let your heavenly bulldozer pull down every physical or spiritual barrier blocking my heavens from opening.

Father!!! Cut away every inherited cord of failure, disgrace shame, poverty, debt, and wretchedness in Jesus name.

Who art thou mountain of sickness, failure, fruitless ventures and satanic strongholds blocking my heavens? I command you begin to melt now in Jesus name.

Make me whole from every infirmity.

Father! Grant me this season from Heavenly Throne both what money can afford and what money cannot buy.

Holy Ghost! Where my strength ended, please, arise and let Your Host fight my battles for me.

Father! Before this season of fast expire, specially attend to my case.

Father In The Mighty Name Of Jesus Christ I Thank You For My Life, Family And Nigeria.

Psalms_107-1: O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever

1. Father in the Mighty name of Jesus Christ I thank You for my life, family & Nigeria. I thank You for the fertile land, population, resources and the gospel, all of which give Nigeria huge potentials.

2. I thank You because all power belongs to You and the gates of hell cannot prevail.

3. Thank You because You always answer the prayers of Your obedient children.

4. I ask for forgiveness on behalf of our land and nation Nigeria.

5. Forgive us for we have not walked in your ways.

6. I and our Leaders have wandered away from your laws.

7. I repent for all wickedness, injustice, nepotism, tribalism, hatred, bloodshed, idolatry, and having not given You Your rightful place in our nation.

8. Wherever we have exalted any idol before You, please forgive us, Lord.

9. Father, have mercy. Remember mercy, O Lord.

10. I contend for the destiny of Nigeria, O Lord, contend with those who contend with your believers and frustrate the devices of all who plot evil in the land. Uproot any who will not relent and need to be paralysed for Nigeria to have peace.

11. You say, ask of Me for the nation of Nigeria. Lord I ask for the land of Nigeria, starting from the North,South,East and West.,

12. Remember Your people oh Lord, those tossed about, oppressed and trampled upon by situations, hunger and thirst created by wicked men.

13. O Lord, remember mercy and heal our land.

14. Bring the latter rains, O Lord, I pray.

15. Open the flood gates of heaven and let it rain on our parched land.

16. I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over this land.

17. Let that Blood that speaks better things than the blood of Abel speak peace in Nigeria.

18. Raise leaders Like king David, judges like Samuel that are after your own heart, O Lord.

19. Give us leaders chosen by You and let them be vessels to bring this land back to the fear of You, O Lord.

20. Let there be peace and love for one another.

21. Let any power thirsting for the blood of any Nigerian be quenched by the blood of Jesus Christ.

22. I cancel violence in Jesus mighty name.

23. I declare your justice to reign over this land because you will not by any means discharge the guilty.

24. I decree peace that comes with justice, prosperity that comes with your peace and all material and spiritual blessings upon this land.

25. Reward trouble to those who trouble this land with wicked deeds.

26. Judge without mercy those who defile our land with idols, who shed innocent blood without a cause.

27. Let peace be upon Nigeria let peace be upon the four corners of this land where you have planted us.

28. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord and savior I pray. Amen.

29. Lord take the crafty in their craftiness. Those who have plotted evil schemes to overrun Nigeria with contrary ways, let their wicked schemes backfire. Let their footsoldiers be arrested like Saul/Paul and let them become mighty believers and evangelists.

30. Almighty God, by Your mighty power, Thy Kingdom come in Nigeria, Thy will be done, Thy name be glorified, and let righteousness exalt Nigeria.
