4. Let us ask God for mercy on behalf of RCCG. Ps. 51:1-19
5. Let us plead the blood of Jesus to cancel every consequence of sin in the life of Ministers and workers in RCCG. Ps.51:7
6. Pray for restoration of Glory in all the parishes of RCCG. Ps. 51:8-12

Psalms_119-11: Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

Introduction

2-Chronicles_7-14: If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land

Sin means total rebellion against God. It is walking contrary to the commandments of God. God is holy and He commands everyone to live in total obedience to His Words. The consequences of sin are terrible no sinner shall go unpunished. God is calling everyone to repent and forsake his/her ways.

1-John_1-9: If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness

Consequences Of Sin

Psalms_51-2: Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.

1) It Attracts Death Penalty –

Romans 6:23:
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

2) It Opens Doors to Bondage –

Galatians 5:1:
“Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.”

3) Sin leads to Separation From God.

Isaiah 59:2:
“But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.”

4) It Leads To Hell:

Revelation 21:8
“But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”

Psalms_89-1-2: I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations

Conclusion

Psalms_108-3: I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations

1 Thessalonians 5:22:
“Abstain from all appearance of evil”

Psalms_98-4: Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise .Thank You Jesus

Flee from all appearances of evil, sin destroys.

Colossians_3-16-3: Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. God Answers Prayers

Sinners, turn why will ye die.

God your maker, asks you why
God, who did your being give
Made you with Himself to live
He the fatal cause demands
Asks the work of His own hands
Why, ye thankless creatures,
why
Will you cross His love, and die?

Sinners, turn why will ye die?
God , your Savior, asks you
why
God who did your soul retrieve
Died Himself that ye might live
Will you let Him die in vain?
Crucify the Lord again
Why, ye ransom’d sinners, why
Will you slight His grace, and die?

Sinners, turn why will ye die?
God the Spirit, asks you why
He who all your lives hath strove
Urged you to contend for heaven
Will you not His grace receive?
Will you still refuse to live?

Can you doubt if God is love

Falling on the weary, like refreshing dew,
“Whosoever believeth” That means you

Trust the Saviours promise, tried and true (my brother)

Reconciliation through His precious blood
He hath wrought salvation blessed Son of God
All the work is finished there is naught to do,
“But to claim the blessing” That means you

Saving all who trust Him to the utter-most,
Boasting is excluded, yet in Him we boast
Soul, receive the message, wonderful and true
“Whosoever believeth” That means you

Doubt His word no longer,
come to Him today,
Turning from your sins for ever more away;
Through His boundless mercy, all shall be forgiven,

There is life at this moment for
thee
Then look, sinner, look unto Him and be saved
Unto Him who was nailed on the tree

Look, look, look and live
There is life for a look at the
Crucified One
There is life at this moment for
Thee

Oh, why was He there as a
Bearer of sin,
If on Jesus thy sins were not laid?
Oh, why from His side flowed
the sin-cleansing blood
If His dying thy debt has not paid

It is not thy tears of repentance nor prayers,
But the blood that atones for the soul;
On Him then believe, and a pardon receive
For His blood can now make thee quite whole

We are healed by His stripes;

Jesus, we look to Thee.

Thy promised presence claim;
Thou in the midst of us shalt be,
Assembled in Thy name.

Thy name salvation is,
Which here we come to pride;
Thy name is life, and health, and peace,
And everlasting love.

Not in the name of pride,
Or selfishness we meet;
From nature’s paths we turn aside,
And worldly thoughts forget.

We meet, the grace to take
