Prayers For Our Leaders. Intercessions for Those in Authority.

MEMORISE:

“Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.” – Psalm 2:10

Read:

1Timothy 2:1-4

1.  I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

2.  For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

3.  For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

4.  Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

PRAYERS:

1.  Father, I thank you for all the leaders in my family, church, state, country, and in every other place. Thank you for their lives, their families, and their well-being.

2.  Father, I pray for wisdom for my leaders. Please, let none of them lead us in the wrong direction. Give them the wisdom to know what to do at all times, in Jesus’ name.

3.  Father, please let it be well with our leaders. Take care of all their personal needs so that they will have peace of mind to lead us aright, in Jesus’ name.

4.  Father, please provide all the resources that our leaders need to achieve the goals set ahead of them, in Jesus’ name.

5.  Father, please give our leaders the strength to overcome every obstacle that may stand in the way of the glorious future they are leading us to. Help them to surmount any challenge that confronts them, in Jesus’ name.

6.  Father, please let our leaders have a compassionate heart towards their followers. Let none of them use their position to exploit or oppress their followers, in Jesus’ name.

7.  Father, please don’t let any of our leaders offend you and do things that will bring judgement upon themselves and their followers. Please help them to do your will at all times, in Jesus’ name.

8.  Father, please remove any leader that refuses to do your will. Just as you replaced Saul with David, replace them with people that will do your will, in Jesus’ name.

9.  Father, please let our leaders be good examples to us. Let their conduct and personality set good standards for us to live by, in Jesus’ name.

10.  Father, please let there be unity and peace amongst all our leaders. Let them be united, and give them the wisdom to relate with each other peaceably, in Jesus’ name.

11.  Father, please raise righteous leaders to occupy leadership positions so that the people can rejoice, in Jesus’ name.

Genesis 17:4

 As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.

What we say and/or do after receiving a prophecy matters. God told Abraham that he would be a father of nations and that his children would be as many as the stars in the sky. At that time, he and his wife were already old and did not have any children.

Later, in Genesis 18, God appeared to him, and nine months after, Isaac was born. If your mouth and actions don’t negate God’s promises for you, no matter how unbelievable those promises sound, you will see them come to pass.

 ACT NOW:

 When God says something that seems too good to be true, repeat it with your mouth, and you will see it come to pass.

My Life, God’s Canvas: A Masterpiece Of Blessings. Let Us Pray.

Today, I speak over my life and my household that the hand of God is over us for mercy, grace, and divine favour. Good things will continue to happen to us, and because God has separated us for His abundant blessings, we shall not be disappointed, rather, all the days of our appointed time, we will wait till our changes come. I will not wait in vain because God shall continue to perfect all that concerns me. I am like a city set on a hill; my destiny cannot be truncated or hidden. My place in God’s plan is sure; my future is certain. I am strengthened with the spirit of might in my inner person, therefore, my walls are strong, and my name is written in the Lamb’s book of life. From the East, West, North and South, favour and honour will find me; my gifts and calling are without repentance. Because I have grace to receive help, I will not be stranded in life; I will not be frustrated regarding my life’s issues. I shall continue to possess my possessions. I have laid hold of the horns of the altar and have received mercy, therefore, nothing will stop my God ordained progress. In Jesus’ name, I believe and I say, Amen.

When You Feel Like Giving Up. When You Feel Like Giving Up: 5 Strategies to Keep Going.

When you feel like giving up, talk to someone. You were never meant to walk through this life alone. Often, angels come in human form. Many problems are diffused by the love of those around us. 

When you feel like giving up, sing an uplifting song. Music has healing power. Also, listen to an inspiring message. One kind word can change your day. One inspiring word can change your destiny.

When you feel like giving up, meditate on your life’s purpose – the positive difference you’re making in this world. Our lives are fuelled by a sense of belonging, meaning, significance and purpose. 

When you feel like giving up, exercise. Jogging, swimming, bowling, tennis, or a mere walk in the park reduces cortisol (the stress hormone) and activates several happy hormones in your body.

When you feel like giving up – pray. Don’t be anxious about anything. Instead, take everything to God in prayer. He is our refuge. He is our strength. He is our loving Father. He’s just a prayer away.

God doesn’t just give you the desire; He gives you the power to obey. It may not make sense, it may feel over your head, but this is a destiny moment. If you will make a move, God will step in and help you do what you couldn’t do. Finishing strong isn’t about perfection. It’s about staying faithful to the end. The grace of God fuels our perseverance. So press on, even when it’s hard. God said in Philippians, “I will bring you to a flourishing finish.” (Philippians 1:6 MSG). The Cure For Backsliding. God’s Invitation To Backsliders: Repent And Live Holy.

MEMORISE

Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. Acts 3:19

READ: Jeremiah 3:11-15

[11] And the LORD said unto me, The backsliding Israel hath justified herself more than treacherous Judah.

[12] Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the LORD; and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, saith the LORD, and I will not keep anger for ever.

[13] Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against the LORD thy God, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree, and ye have not obeyed my voice, saith the LORD.

[14] Turn, O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion:

[15] And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.

MESSAGE.

Yesterday, I taught about backsliding and how God does not hate backsliders but only hates the act. Backsliding is the terrible state of returning to sin after being saved by Jesus Christ.

In today’s Bible reading, God invited backsliding Israel to repent and live holy. If you are backslidden, He is extending that invitation to you now because He is not interested in the death of any sinner or backslider. Instead, He wants them to reunite with Him.

Restoration for a backslider starts with acknowledging sins and having a desire to get back on track with God. In other words, backsliders must be remorseful about their sins and genuinely repent of them so that they can experience forgiveness and times of refreshing in God’s presence.

My dear child, it is a terrible thing to live or die in sin, and this is why you must surrender your heart to the Lord totally.

If you are backslidden and would like to get back on track with God, please say these words, “Lord Jesus, I am sorry for going back to my vomit. Please give me complete victory over sin, in Jesus’ name, Amen!”

If you are backslidden, find a branch of RCCG near you and tell the pastor that you want to join the Believer’s Class.

We may have given up, but the good news is God hasn’t given up. He doesn’t cancel dreams. He’s called the Author and the Finisher of our faith. Even when we feel like giving up, God continues to support, guide us, and He never abandons the dreams He’s placed in our heart. Even when we feel like giving up, God is still at work, fulfilling His promises and bringing our dreams to life. He never cancels what He has started in us. The Power of Contentment: Trusting God in Every Season.

CONTENTMENT is not settling. It is the ability to enjoy what you have, where you are, while you’re trusting GOD for whatever is lacking. To experience contentment:

* Realise that you’re already blessed. Regardless of what you “don’t have” you have enough right now to be grateful. Gratitude attracts Increase.

* Know that GOD is with you. Even if you’re not faithful to Him, He’s faithful to you. Do your best to give GOD your best but don’t forget His promise to “be with you always”.

* Say where you’re going. Your words are powerful. Life is waiting for instructions from your lips. So, speak your desire. You will have what you say (and work towards).

* Maximise where you are till GOD opens doors. You can’t curse where you are and expect it to be blessed. I don’t care where you call ‘home’, GOD is there and if He’s there, anything is possible.

Thank And Praise God Always. Thanksgiving: The Gateway to God’s Blessings and Favour.

 FOOD FOR THOUGHT.

“It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High:” (PSALM 92:1).

Thanksgiving is a qualitative spiritual substance that is highly priced in the heavenly kingdom. As a vessel which serves God, you must always be full of it. 1 THESSALONIANS 5:18 says, “In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”

Thanksgiving is God’s will for you; which means, you have been recreated in Christ so that as a vessel that serves God, you will regularly serve God thanks. To remain in God’s will and plan for your life, your heart and lips must never run out of thanks.

It is not possible to be full of thanks and complaints at the same time, as these two are contrary to each other.

Any believer who is always complaining is not only void of thanks but also outside God’s will. This is dangerous. God’s blessings-favour, grace provision, etc. locates you in the will of God, so never let complaining, murmuring, and grumbling push you off the track of your blessings!

“Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ;” (EPHESIANS 5:19-20).

Another lesson here is that thanksgiving should not be restricted to a particular day, time, or event. Thanksgiving should not be a seasonal activity but one that is done at all times and in every situation.

If you thank God only when He has answered your prayers or done something for you, that thanksgiving is seasonal! God is not pleased with seasonal thanksgiving because seasonal ‘thank-givers’ are part of those who rob Him.

When the going is good, give Him thanks. That is easy. Anybody can do that. But when the going is bad, do you give Him thanks? Did I hear you say, for what? Give it to Him because He demands it; it is His right.

When you are spiritually high, give Him thanks. When you are spiritually down, give Him thanks. When you are healthy, give Him thanks. When you fall ill give Him thanks. When you have just been promoted give Him thanks. When you have lost your job give Him thanks.

From today beloved, let your thanksgiving no longer be conditioned upon any particular situation. Thank God whether you feel like it or not because it is our due to God. In His faithfulness He will give you reasons to give Him thanks over and over again

I am blessed beyond curse. God’s Got Me Covered: A Declaration of Faith and Trust.

Today, I declare over my life and my household that, God will continue to shield us by the power of His might; He has damaged beyond repair every siege set against us and has strengthened our hands to victory against all our foes. I have been granted divine insurance policy, with the premium paid in full by the blood of Jesus. For the rest of the days of my life, I will not suffer any hurt, I will not hear or receive any bad news because God has come against every bloodthirsty demon on parade against my success. I will be protected everywhere I go and I shall not mourn the untimely loss of any of my relatives. God has reversed every psychic command sent to bother my family and me. God shall continue to turn around every evil prognostication, sent out of hell to devour any of my children. No harm shall befall me, no evil eye shall see me, and no evil hands shall touch me. Rising Above: Letting God Fight Your Battles.

If you’re going to reach your destiny, you have to be the bigger person and let God fight your battles. If you sink down to their level, then God can’t trust you with more influence. That’s a test. Prove to God that you’ll stay on the high road. I can’t promise you there won’t be struggling seasons, seasons that are not fair, but I can promise you that if you’ll keep the right attitude, you’ll come out better. Without that adversity, we couldn’t step into the fullness of what God has in store. You are not defined by your past; you are prepared by your past. God wastes nothing. If He allowed it, there’s a purpose. He’s not going to waste your pain, what wasn’t fair. He’s not going to waste the scars. Everything you’ve been through has a purpose, even if it’s not clear yet. Preparing for the Long Haul: Perseverance in Christianity.

PERSEVERE.

MEMORISE:

“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.” – (Revelation 2:7)

READ: PROVERBS 4:25-26 (KJV)

25 Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.

26 Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.

MESSAGE:

One thing that everyone who is born again must learn is that the Christian walk is not a sprint but a marathon. I have been born again since 1973, and I am still on the journey until now. We were told back then, “Jesus is coming soon.” ‘Soon’ has run into more than 51 years now, and we are still awaiting His arrival. This tells you that without perseverance, you cannot win in the Christian race. It is good that you resisted temptation yesterday and did not fall, but that is not enough to ensure that you will remain standing until the end. You must also resist the temptation that is coming tomorrow. If a believer relaxes because of the things he or she has overcome in the past, it is likely that the fellow will be brought down by future temptations.

It is in perseverance that many Christians fail. The devil knows that if he brings temptation to you once, you might not fall. However, he knows that if he keeps bringing the temptation over and over again in different forms and intensities, one day, when you are relaxed spiritually, you will likely fall. This is why having oil for today is good, but you must always have extra oil for tomorrow. The ten virgins in Matthew 25:1-13 were all virgins, meaning that they were all pure. They all had oil which signifies the Holy Spirit, but while they were waiting for the arrival of the Groom, they all slept because the Groom tarried. However, only the ones with extra oil were able to meet with the Groom. Proverbs 24:10 says:

If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.

You must be prepared for the day of adversity. Believe me, without extra strength, you will not be able to persevere until the end. Therefore, read your Bible beyond what you need for today, pray longer hours than you need for today, and serve God more fervently than is necessary for today. Doing these will build in you the strength that you need to persevere. Many people have yielded to fraud in their offices because the oil finished, and they didn’t have extra to keep them on fire. Some yielded to fornication and adultery because their strength failed. Don’t make this mistake; get extra oil always.

Your fire needs to last until rapture or when you are called home.
