I Mess Up Every Now And Again, But God Still Loves Me

I believe that the time has come for God’s people to truly understand the heart of the Father. Unfortunately, a very misleading picture of God has been painted over the years, leaving the impression that our Father, God, is mad at His children and is watching us very closely to see if we make any mistakes so that He can pass judgment on us. This image has created are a very fearful, distant relationship between God and us. The truth is that we mess up every now and again, so we have a tendency of hiding from God, like Adam did in the garden.

Beloved, while God hates sin, He still loves us so much that He has extended His goodness to us. He will never withdraw His goodness because you have messed up. The scripture tells us that it is His goodness that leads us to repentance. It is not His judgment or His hammer knocking us on the head that leads us to repentance. Look out for His goodness and wrap yourself around Him when you mess up, because He is there to lead you out of your troubles.

Don’t get consumed in your errors; be consumed by His love. I have repeated this teaching over and over again because I realise that it is very hard for people to absorb. Think on it: God loves you in spite of you and is looking forwards to receiving you not when you do right, but right now.

I know that we have been taught over and over again that God’s wrath generates fear in order to keep us from sin. But that doctrine is not in the Bible. All we see in the Bible is His perfect love that casts out fear. Don’t get consumed with the lie of the devil. Stop expecting His wrath. Always expect His goodness. Then His goodness will not only come over you, but it will also overtake you in Jesus’s name.

I Am Legally Declared Righteous In Christ Jesus

Romans 8:31-34

Throughout life, there will be times when our sins and failures lead us to conclude that God is disappointed or angry with us. How can He still love me after what I’ve done? If I’m really forgiven, why do I still feel so guilty? At such times, we need to fix our eyes on the truth of Scripture and ask the questions Paul posed in Romans 8.

If God is for us, who is against us
(v. 31)? Our heavenly Father proved His loyalty to us when He delivered His own Son over to death in order to save us. Without Christ’s atoning death on our behalf, we would face eternal separation from God.

Who will bring a charge against God’s elect (v. 33)? No accusation against us can stand, since at the moment of salvation, the Lord justified us. This means we were legally declared righteous, while still in our sinning condition. No one can reverse this transaction and make us guilty again. To doubt our blameless standing in Christ is to declare His atonement insufficient to cover our sin.

Who is the one who condemns (v. 34)? Although Satan rails against us, Jesus’ death and resurrection are proof that we are right with God. Christ took our condemnation and gave us His righteousness in return. Now He sits at the Father’s right hand, interceding for us.

When doubts about the Lord’s love and faithfulness arise, focus on truth. If we judge His loyalty to us by our circumstances or feelings, we will never get an accurate view of God. True security lies not in our good performance, but in our relationship with Christ, and no one can take that from us.

I Am A Child Of God. I Am The Righteousness Of God In Christ. I Have Access To The Throne Of God At All Times

“Who shall lay anything to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth.”

Romans 8:33 (KJV)

The Book of Job tells us about how Satan had access to God’s throne and complained about Job (Job 1:6-12). Why did this happen? Satan had the right to do this because through the fall Adam handed over to the devil the key of dominion that God had given to him (Genesis 3). Therefore the devil was able to go before God and accuse Him of protecting Job. However, Jesus, our last Adam, came to earth. And by the sprinkling of His blood, He cleansed the things of heaven (Hebrews 9:22-24).

His blood has cleansed and redeemed the unclean place where Satan walked and stood before God. There is no more ground where Satan can stand before God in order to accuse you. What happened to Job cannot happen to you. Jesus is the one in the presence of God on your behalf (Hebrews 9:24) He is the one mediating for you, and He is the one interceding for you (1 Timothy 2:5, Romans 8:34). Since Satan can no longer visit the throne, he comes to the earth and accuses the believer in his conscience (1 John 3:20-22). Satan’s greatest tool today is deception since he has been denied any real power (Colossians 2:13-15).

So don’t let the devil deceive you by using Job as an example. God is the one who is boasting about you. Child of God, think no more of Job. That era is gone. The person standing before the Father is Jesus, the One who died and paid the supreme price for you.

The devil still goes about using the same old tricks to deceive people, making them think that God is mad at them because of their failures. Satan wants them to believe that what they are encountering is a punishment from God for their sins. Beloved, yes, your sin had to be paid for. The cost of sin is death; thank God Jesus has already paid the price. Remember that you are not Job. You are a child of God. You are the righteousness of God in Christ. You have access to the throne of God always (Hebrews 4:15-16). So when the devil comes with his lies, let him know that you know the truth. Stand on the truth and see the miracle that God has promised you.

Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light.

Colossians 1:12.

Do you know that there are things that have already been made and yet you are still beating around the bush? There are things already made by God for you, if you can only believe. All through the scripture we find people who were already made. The man by the name Gideon was hiding, afraid of the Midianites and threshing wheat in the wine press. And the scripture says that God cleared His throat and said “thou mighty man of valour, the Lord is with you.” The man was hiding but God was showing him a picture that he was already made. Not that he will be made but was already made and he was hiding. He was already the mighty man of valour. God saw him defeating the Medianites. I declare to you that the things that have been defeating you, you will defeat them and what you have been running away from, from now on you will begin to pursue if only you can get the picture.

The scripture paints picture of people who were made and they began to act like it. Never act like a defeated person. When you hear the Bible say what you bind here on earth is bound in heaven, “what you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven or that greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world or that this is the victory that overcome the world, even our faith,” you must realize that you are already made.

If you think that you are a sinner, the Bible says we have been made the righteousness of God in Christ. You are already made. When God says there will be no barrenness among His people, it means you will not be barren. In other words, don’t ever see yourself as barren. Just name how many babies you want. When He says by His stripes you were healed, it means that you are not sick. Sickness and disease may be attacking your body but as far as heaven’s record is concerned, you are healed from the crown of your head to the soles of your feet. Child of God, the truth is you are already made. Declare I am already made.

Supernatural Touch Of God! Happy New Year!

So the Lord said to him, “What is that in your hand?” He said, “A rod.” And He said, “Cast it on the ground.” So he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from it.

God wants to take the natural things in your life and make them supernaturally blessed. He does this by asking you to give Him what you already have in the natural, and He will do the supernatural.

That is why the Lord told Moses to cast his rod on the ground. And when Moses cast his rod on the ground, which represents him giving the rod to the Lord, that same rod became the rod of God. With that rod, the Red Sea was opened. (Exodus 14:16) And when that rod was used to hit a rock, water flowed out of the rock. (Exodus 17:5–6) It was no longer a natural rod, but the supernatural rod of God!

But why did the rod become a serpent when Moses cast it to the ground?

Moses never realized that there was a “snake” in his rod. You see, because of the fall of man, there is a touch of the curse—a snake—in every natural thing, including your career, natural strength, talents and ministry.

So how do you deal with the “snake” that is in all the natural things in your life?

First, cast it to the Lord. Then, do what the Lord told Moses next: “Reach out your hand and take it by the tail”. (Exodus 4:4)

Now, it could be fatal to take a snake by its tail because it can easily turn its head around and bite you. So why did God say that?

When you take it by the tail, God will take the head! He wants you to let Him handle the head, and not grab it or hold on to it tightly in fear or self-effort. That is how you see your career, strength, talents and ministry supernaturally blessed.

Beloved, there is a snake, a touch of the curse, in everything in the natural. But give what is natural to the Lord and see the touch of the curse replaced with the supernatural touch of God!

One of the devil’s strategies is to magnify the challenges you are facing so that you lose sight of God’s promises. Beloved, I came your way today to tell you to lay hold on the promises. You may be experiencing a season of contradictions but don’t give up. Hold on to His word. He that has spoken is able to bring anything to pass. You will not be denied.

Many may have seen you without hope, but from the ashes of failure and hopelessness God will show you before them all. The same people who saw you in a sorry state will see you with your testimony. This is your time of prophetic help. God is coming back to visit you. You will experience a new beginning. The person or the people whom God has sent to help you need not be your friends; they might not even like your face, but they will help you because God has commissioned them to do so. You will shine your light. You will manifest, and your dreams will come true.

I therefore challenge you today to refuse to be refused. Push back the table, hold on to the horn of the altar, and tell the devil, eyeball to eyeball, “Enough is enough.” You have all that it takes to enforce the victory that Jesus wrought on the cross. It is the dawn of a new day. The stagnation, delay, postponement, and indeed anything else that has held you bound are broken today. There is a canopy of glory above you. The delay is over. You are about to change location. It has started to rain for the drought is over!

The year 2016 is coming and with it many prophecies from respected men of God.
The founder of INRI Evangel­ical Spiritual Church, Lagos, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has unveiled his prophecies for coming year in an interview with the Sun News.

Nigeria is currently facing many challenges. The deadly Boko Haram insurgency that Buhari’s government is said to have crushed, the upsurge in pro-Biafra agitation, corruption and many other political battles.

Read below the top 14 prophecies from the prominent cleric:

  1. Nigerians should not expect President Muhammadu Buhari to achieve much in the anti-corruption war as the whole effort will backfire as several notable people who are close to him will be indicted and thereby tie his hands such that he will not make progress.
  2. Buhari’s administration will have more problems by removing the oil subsidy. If care is not taken, we are going to buy fuel at N200 per litre. The removal of oil subsidy will spur militant youths to damage pipelines to steal products for sale.
  3. Nigeria army will not be able to defeat Boko Haram if the air force is not fully involved. They can only defeat the insurgents with combined air and ground assaults and using satellites to target their leaders.

  4. People in the south west and south south must be careful because the Boko Haram will infiltrate these areas. The insurgents will still carry out more suicide bomb attacks in Plateau and Abuja.

  5. If the All Progressives Congress is not careful, the party will crack. Also if the PDP does not go back to beg the founding fathers, the party may not recover, because some PDP governors will flee to the APC.

  6. A northern party will emerge. CPC is not yet over. A group from the north will recreate the CPC with a northern person in charge. APC as it is now will have problems if they are not careful. APC and PDP need a lot of prayers.

  7. More political parties will be registered. Not all House of Assembly speakers will finish their terms. It is only prayers that will make the Taraba woman to go back to that seat.

  8. Seriake Dickson has to pray very well to retain his seat.

  9. The Halliburton case will come up again.

  10. In probing Jonathan, Buhari will end up shooting himself in the leg. What I mean by that is that as he tries to trouble Jonathan, it will cause problems. He will only be able to hit corruption, but will not make much impact. In the process of the corruption battle, some people who are close to Buhari will be indicted. That is why I said that Buhari will shoot himself in the leg.

  11. Buhari will make efforts to make Nigeria better, but his efforts will be frustrated by a cabal in his government. He will step on many toes, but that would frustrate his administration the more.

  12. Buhari must not overlook Biafra. He should dialogue with them. He must not hold dialogue with Boko Haram. If he does it, he will destroy his administration. Nigeria will face a lot of agitations by different groups. His government should not see these predictions as doom messages, but as a warning and follow the advice appropriately.

  13. NFF will have crisis. If our club sides play very well they might win a cup. They have to be motivated or they might not perform well.
