Be A Nathanael.
Hebrews_12-2: Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God

John 1:45-50
45 Philip found Nathanael and told him, “We have found the one Moses wrote about in the Law, and about whom the prophets also wrote—Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”
46 “Nazareth! Can anything good come from there?” Nathanael asked.
“Come and see,” said Philip.
47 When Jesus saw Nathanael approaching, he said of him, “Here truly is an Israelite in whom there is no deceit.”
48 “How do you know me?” Nathanael asked.
Jesus answered, “I saw you while you were still under the fig tree before Philip called you.”
49 Then Nathanael declared, “Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the king of Israel.”
50 Jesus said, “You believe because I told you I saw you under the fig tree. You will see greater things than that.”

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Introduction:
In our Churches today we see many who have been born-again for years, yet they find it very difficult to believe the Word of God. Nathaniel didn’t delay in believing in Jesus Christ as the Saviour of the world.
LESSON FROM NATHANIEL’S UNCOMMON BELIEF
Nathaniel hadn’t seen Jesus perform any miracle neither did he hear any voice from heaven concerning Jesus but he simply believe. Until we come to the place of trusting God’s Word in totality we may remain in that unpleasant situation much longer.
John 1:50
50 Jesus said, “You believe[a] because I told you I saw you under the fig tree. You will see greater things than that.”
CHILD LIKE FAITH
Matthew 18:1-4
At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?
2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,
3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
Mark 10:13-16
13 And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and his disciples rebuked those that brought them.
14 But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
15 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.
16 And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them.
Luke 18:16
But Jesus called the children to him and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.
Matthew 18:3
And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
Conclusion:
Nathaniel didn’t see signs and wonders before he confirmed that Jesus is the Son of God. You can act like him and you will surely see God move in your situation.
