Shackled by a heavy burden.
‘Neath a load of guilt and shame,
Then the hand of Jesus touched me,
And now I am no longer the same

Chorus.

He touched me, O, He touched me,
And O, the joy that floods my soul;
Something happened, and now I know
He touched me and made me whole.

Since I met this blessed Saviour,
Since He cleansed and made me whole;
I will never cease to praise Him,

The Master Hath Called Us,
The Children Who Fear Him,
Who March ‘Neath Christ’s Banner,
His Own Little Band;
We Love Him, And Seek Him,
We Long To Be Near Him,
And Rest In The Light Of His Beautiful Land.

The Master Hath Called Us;
The Road May Be Dreary, And Dangers And Sorrows Are Strewn On The Track;

Pointing Souls To Calvary To The Crimson Flow.
Many Arrows Pierce My Soul
From Without, Within;
But My Lord Leads Me On,
Through Him I Must Win.

Oh, I Want To See Him,
Look Upon His Face,
There To Sing Forever Of His Saving Grace;
On The Streets Of Glory Let Me Lift My Voice;
Cares All Past, Home At Last, Ever To Rejoice.

When In Service For My Lord
Dark May Be The Night,
But I’ll Cling More Close To Him,
He Will Give Me Light;
Satan’s Snares May Vex My Soul,
Turn My Thoughts Aside;
But My Lord Goes Ahead, Leads Whatever Betide.

When In Valleys Low I Look
Toward The Mountains Height,
And Behold My Saviour There,
Leading In The Fight,
With A Tender Hand
Outstretched Toward The Valley Low,
Guiding Me, I Can See, As I Onward Go.

When Before Me Billows Rise
From The Mighty Deep,
Then My Lord Directs My Barque
He Doth Safely Keep,

To Me He Hath Made Known.
Nor Why, Unworthy, Christ In Love
Redeemed Me For His Own.

But I Know Whom I Have Believed,
And Am Persuaded That He Is Able
To Keep That Which I’ve Committed
Unto Him Against That Day.

I Know Not How This Saving Faith
To Me He Did Impart,
Nor How Believing In His Word
Wrought Peace Within My Heart.

I Know I How The Spirit Moves,
Convincing Men Of Sin,
Revealing Jesus Through The Word,
Creating Faith In Him.

I Know Not What Of Good Or Ill
May Be Reserved For Me,
Of Weary Ways Or Golden Days
Before His Face I See.

I Know Not When My Lord May Come,
At Night, Or Noonday Fair,
Nor If I’ll Walk The Vale With Him,

What a friend we have in Jesus,
all our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry
everything to God in prayer!
O what peace we often forfeit,
O what needless pain we bear,
all because we do not carry
everything to God in prayer.

Have we trials and temptations?
Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged;
take it to the Lord in prayer.
Can we find a friend so faithful
who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every
weakness;
take it to the Lord in prayer.

Are we weak and heavy laden,
cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Savior, still our refuge;
take it to the Lord in prayer.
Do thy friends despise, forsake
thee?
Take it to the Lord in prayer!
In his arms he’ll take and shield
thee
thou wilt find a solace there. Amen!
