To effect prompt implementation of the Church growth programs of the Redeemed Christian Church of God on Church planting and house fellowship development at the grass root level.

To accomplish the aforementioned vision, we seek to fulfill the following:
1. Growth: To ensure commitment to House Fellowship Leaders to follow up, New Believers’Class Training and New Comers’Preservation.

 
2. Relevance: To encourage relevance of House Fellowship to Church Growth through Mass Reproduction of House Fellowship Leaders.

 
3. Awareness: To ccreate awareness on the need for parishioners, in all parishes of RCCG, to attend House Fellowship meetings and release their homes for House Fellowship, specifically, we target first Sundays of each month as House Fellowship awareness day in all Parishes of RCCG.

 
4. Church Planting: To help in Church planting by identifying and translating House Fellowship Centers, with large population, to full fledged Parishes of RCCG.
5. Evangelism: To liaise with Parishes of RCCG to actualize the goals of the Mission on Evangelism by mobilizing House Fellowship members for personal or mass evangelism, especially on the last Saturdays of each month.

Leadership, God’s Perspective. Sermon And Prayer Points By Pastor E A Adeboye.

Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant,
27 and whoever wants to be first must be your slave—
28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
Matthew 20:26-28.

Jesus Christ explains it “He that will be great among you, that will be chief, that would really be so, and would be found to be so at last, let him be your minister, your servant,” Matthew 20:26-27.

Here, Jesus was saying:

1. That it is the duty of Christ’s disciples to serve one another, for mutual edification. This includes both humility and usefulness. The followers of Christ must be ready to stoop to the meanest offices of love for the good one of another, must submit one to another (1 Peter 5:5; Ephesians 5:21), and edify one another (Romans 14:19), please one another for good, Romans 15:2.

2. It is the dignity of Christ’s disciples to faithfully discharge this duty.
The way to be great and chief is to be humble and serviceable.
Those are to be best accounted of, and most respected, in the church, and will be so by all that understand things aright not those that are dignified with high and mighty names, like the names of the great ones of the earth, that appear in pomp, and assume to themselves a power proportionable, but those that are most humble and self-denying, and lay out themselves most to do good, though to the diminishing of themselves.
These honour God most, and those He will honour. As he must become a fool that would be wise, so he must become a servant that would be chief.
St. Paul was a great example of this. He laboured more abundantly than they all, made himself (as some would call it) a drudge to his work and is not he chief? Do we not by consent call him the great Apostle, though he called himself less than the least? And perhaps our Lord Jesus had an eye to him, when he said, There were last that should be first for Paul was one born out of due time (1 Corinthians 15:8) not only the youngest child of the family of the Apostles, but a posthumous one, yet he became greatest. And perhaps, it was he for whom the first post of honour in Christ’s kingdom was reserved and prepared of his Father, not for James who sought it and therefore just before Paul began to be famous as an Apostle. Providence ordered it so that James was cut off (Acts 12:2), that in the College of the twelve, Paul might be substituted in his room.

(3.) They must be like the Master Himself and it is very fit that they should, that, while they were in the world, they should be as He was when He was in the world for to both the present state is a state of humiliation, the crown and glory were reserved for both in the future state.
Let them consider that the Son of Man came not to be ministered to, but to minister, and to give His life a ransom for many, Matthew 20:28. Our Lord Jesus here sets Himself before His disciples as a pattern of those two things before recommended, humility, and usefulness.
Never was there such an example of humility and condescension as there was in the life of Christ, who came not to be ministered unto, but to minister.
When the Son of God came into the world, His Ambassador to the children of men, one would think He should have been ministered to, should have appeared in an equipage agreeable to His person and character but He did not, so He made no figure, had no pompous train of state-servants to attend Him, nor was He clad in robes of honour, for He took upon Him the form of a servant.
He was indeed ministered to as a poor man, which was a part of His humiliation.
There were those that ministered to Him of their substance (Luke 8:2,3) but He was never ministered to as a great man he never took state upon Him, was not waited on at table.
He once washed His disciples’ feet, but we never read that they washed His feet.
He came to minister help to all that were in distress.
He made Himself a servant to the sick and diseased. He was as ready to their requests as ever any servant was at the beck of His Master, and took as much pains to serve them.
He attended continually to this very thing, and denied Himself both food and rest to attend to it.

Never was there such an example of beneficence and usefulness as there was in the death of Christ, who gave His life a ransom for many.
He lived as a servant, and went about doing good but He died as a sacrifice, and in that He did the greatest good of all.
He came into the world on purpose to give His life a ransom. It was first in His intention.
The aspiring princes of the Gentiles make the lives of many a ransom for their own honour, and perhaps a sacrifice to their own humour. Christ did not do so. His subjects’ blood is precious to Him, and He is not prodigal of it (Psalms 72:14) but on the contrary, He gives His honour and life too ransom for His subjects.

a. Jesus Christ laid down His life for a ransom:
Our lives were forfeited into the hands of divine justice by sin. Christ, by parting with His life, made atonement for sin, and so rescued ours. He was made sin, and a curse for us, and died, not only for our good, but in our stead, Acts 20:28,1 Peter 1:18,19.

b. It was a ransom for many, sufficient for all, effectual for many and, if for many, then, saith the poor doubting soul, “Why not for me?”
It was for many, that by Him, many may be made righteous.
These many were His seed, for which His soul travailed for many (Isaiah 53:10,11).
That is how they will be when they come all together, though now they appear but a little flock.

Now this is a good reason why we as leaders, should not strive for precedency, because the cross is our banner, and our Master’s death is our life.
It is a good reason why we should study to do good, and, in consideration of the love of Christ in dying for us, not hesitate to lay down our lives for the brethren, 1 John 3:16.
Ministers should be more forward than others to serve and suffer for the good of souls, as blessed Paul was, Acts 20:24; Philippians 2:17. The nearer we are all concerned in, and the more we are advantaged by, the humility and humiliation of Christ, the more ready and careful we should be to imitate it.

How are you leading, serving or oppressing? Are you feeding the sheep of the Lord Jesus Christ that you are privileged to lead or you are devouring them?
Think about the above and do the necessary amendment now.

If you are not born again, you are not a sheep and you haven’t gotten the hope of being a leader in the fold of Jesus Christ.
I implore you to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Savior now.

May the Holy Spirit help us to lead as a servant unto them and unto the Lord in Jesus name.

There is need for you to closely and spiritually examine the Church you are fellowshipping whether it is that of Thyatira.

1-Corinthians_14-33: For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

The Corrupt Church.
18 “And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write,

‘These things says the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet like fine brass:
19 “I know your works, love, [b]service, faith, and your [c]patience; and as for your works, the last are more than the first.
20 Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols.
21 And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not repent.
22 Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds.
23 I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works.
Revelation 2:18-23

The contents or subject-matter of the letter written to the Church in Thyatira includes:

1. The honourable character and commendation Christ gives of this Church, Ministry, and people and this given by one who was no stranger to them, but well acquainted with them and with the principles from which they acted.

In this Church, Christ makes honourable mention of:
a.) Their charity, either more general, a disposition to do good to all men, or more special, to the household of faith: there is no religion where there is no charity.

b.) Their service, their ministration, this respects chiefly the officers of the Church, who had laboured in the word and doctrine.

c.) Their faith, which was the grace that actuated all the rest, both their charity and their service.

d.) Their patience for those that are most charitable to others, most diligent in their places, and most faithful, must yet expect to meet with that which will exercise their patience.

e.) Their growing fruitfulness.
Their last works were better than the first.
This is an excellent character when others had left their first love, and lost their first zeal, these were growing wiser and better. It should be the ambition and earnest desire of all Christians that their last works may be their best works, that they may be better and better every day and best at last.

2. A faithful reproof for what was amiss.
This is not so directly charged upon the Church itself as upon some wicked seducers who were among them. The Church’s fault was that she connived too much at them.

a.) These wicked seducers were compared to Jezebel, and called by her name. Jezebel was a persecutor of the Prophets of the Lord, and a great Patroness of idolaters and false Prophets.
The sin of these seducers was that they attempted to draw the servants of God into fornication, and to offer sacrifices to idols. They called themselves prophets, and so would claim a superior authority and regard to the Ministers of the Church.

Two things aggravated the sin of these seducers, who, being one in their spirit and design, are spoken of as one person:

1.] They made use of the name of God to oppose the truth of His doctrine and worship this very much aggravated their sin.

2.] They abused the patience of God to harden themselves in their wickedness. God gave them space for repentance, but they repented not.

Please note that Repentance is necessary to prevent a sinner’s ruin.
And it requires time, a course of time, and time convenient it is a great work, and a work of time.
Where God gives space for repentance, He expects fruits meet for repentance.
Where the space for repentance is lost, the sinner perishes with a double destruction.

Now why should the wickedness of this Jezebel be charged upon the Church of Thyatira? Because that Church suffered her to seduce the people of that city.

But how could the Church help it?
They had not, as a Church, civil power to banish or imprison her but they had ministerial power to censure and to excommunicate her: and it is probable that neglecting to use the power they had made them sharers in her sin.

The punishment of this seducer, this Jezebel, Revelation 2:22-23, in which is couched a prediction of the fall of Babylon.

a.) I will cast her into a bed of pain, not of pleasure, into a bed of flames and those who have sinned with her shall suffer with her but this may yet be prevented by their repentance.

b.) I will kill her children with death, that is, the second death, which does the work effectually, and leaves no hope of future life, no resurrection for those that are killed by the second death, but only to shame and everlasting contempt.

The design of Christ in the destruction of these wicked seducers was the instruction of others, especially of His Churches:
All the Churches shall know that I am He that searcheth the reins and the hearts and I will give to every one of you according to your works.
God is known by the judgments that He executes and, by this revenge taken upon seducers.

He would make known,
1). His infallible knowledge of the hearts of men, of their principles, designs, frame, and temper, their formality, their indifference, their secret inclinations to symbolize with idolaters.

2). His impartial justice, in giving every one according to his work, that the name of Christians should be no protection, their churches should be no sanctuaries for sin and sinners.

There is need for you to closely and spiritually examine the Church you are fellowshiping whether it is that of Thyatira.
There is need to discern whether your so called prophetess is a Jezebel who is seducing you and other children of God to commit fornication.

2 Corinthians 6:18 instruct you to come out of them so that you will not partake of their punishment.

Man of God, are you ministering the truth of God’s word to liberate those who have been ensnared by the false doctrine of once save is forever saved or you conniving with them?
Repent now.

May the Lord God open our eyes of understanding to see what we are eating as the spiritual food, whether it is a food offered to idols or not in Jesus name.

Prepare now to go to the nearest Bible believing Church to fellowship with your maker and I believe He will speak to you the more.

Prayer Points For Victory In The Month Of August.

1. O thou, that troubleth the Israel of Mountain of Fire and
Miracles Ministries, the God of Elijah shall trouble you today.

2. Every enemy, of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles
Ministries, scatter, in the name of Jesus.

3. O God, arise and uproot, anything You did not plant inside the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, in Jesus’ name.

4. Fire of revival, fall upon Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, in the name of Jesus.

5. O Lord, release unto me, the power to crush the head of the serpent of my father’s house, in the name of Jesus.

6. Lord, by the blood of Jesus, blot away the handwriting of ordinances that accuse me everyday, in the name of Jesus.

7. O Lord, restore the glory of my life today, in the name of Jesus.

8. O Lord, restore the crown on my head, in the name of Jesus.

9. Father, let every evil sentenced upon my head disappear now, in the name of Jesus.

15. O God, arise and let my heavens open by fire, in the name of Jesus.

16. Lord, let Your angels gather back everything that has been taken away from me, in the name of Jesus.

17. Lord, let the grave give up what its holding against my destiny, in the name of Jesus.

18. My Father, let my stolen glory be restored now, in the name of Jesus.

19. Every agreement of darkness, against my destiny, scatter, in the name of Jesus.

20. Every conspiracy with dark powers against my destiny, I command fire from heaven to scatter them, in the name of Jesus.

21. I receive the ministry of the Holy Spirit for my divine elevation, in the name of Jesus.

22. Lord, set Your throne in my life and dismantle any other throne that will not allow me see my destiny fulfilled, in Jesus’ name.

23. Anything standing in the way of my glorification, I release the fire of God to consume it, in the name of Jesus.

24. I shall not miss my appointed time, in the name of Jesus.

25. Any dark power, obstructing my divine journey, O Lord, set them on fire, in the name of Jesus.

26. Everything I have laboured for shall bear fruit this month, in the name of Jesus.

27. Anything secretly stealing from my destiny, be destroyed by fire, in the name of Jesus.

28. Evil pits, holding my destiny, O heavens, drop fire upon them and release my destiny, in the name of Jesus.

29. Anything in my foundation, contending with my destiny, fire from heaven, severe them out of my life, in the name of Jesus.

30. Anything that humiliates me, I separate myself from you, in the name of Jesus.

31. Every curse from my father’s house, contesting for the glory of my life, break, in the name of Jesus.

32. Every evil thing, standing on my way of success, be crumbled by fire, in the name of Jesus.

33. O Lord, visit my life and let Your Spirit take away condemnation and incompleteness in my life, in the name of Jesus.

34. O Lord, restore the perfection of my health and the soundness of my life, in the name of Jesus.

35. O Lord, restore the power and gift of dominion in my life, in the name of Jesus.

36. Lord, restore my power to multiply and replenish the earth, in the name of Jesus.

37. Every stranger that has entered into the ship of the journey of my life, catch fire, in the name of Jesus.

38. Every dark covenant with diviners against my life, backfire, in the name of Jesus.

39. O Lord, arise and let every strange altar in my life catch fire, in the name of Jesus.

40. I release the fire of God on every mystery and work of darkness in my environment, in the name of Jesus.
