Leaders Do What Is Right Even If They Are Alone, for example Noah. You should also stand on God’s side and the side of truth even if you are alone!
Another leadership lesson that is worth learning is that Leaders Embrace The Unknown And Take Worthwhile Risks. Abraham’s life validates this truth. God approached him in Genesis 12 and told him to go forth from his country and from his relatives and from his father’s house to the land which He would show him. In other words, God instructed Abraham to leave his comfort zone and march onward into uncertainty. Abraham did as he was instructed and his life and destiny were better for it. Great leaders embrace uncertainty and take prayerful and calculated risks because they know that the Promised Land awaits them on the other side.
Embracing the unknown and taking risk are inherent human traits and they play a major part in the lives of leaders. In life, it is often said that if nothing is ventured, nothing would be gained. Faith is the key factor that propels leaders to embrace the unknown and take risks. It was what made Abraham to step out of his comfort zone. Jesus said to His disciples who were fishermen, tax collectors, etc, “Follow me and I will make you fishers of men”. He simply wanted them to leave their comfort zones (occupation and lifestyles), embrace the unknown and take risks. They did and turned out to be great leaders and world changers. David embraced the unknown and took risks in confronting Goliath. His victory marked the beginning of an unending career as an extraordinary king and leader. Elijah also left his comfort zone and took a risk in condemning Baal worship in Israel as well as in challenging and defeating the prophets of Baal on mount Carmel, culminating in restoring the hearts of the Israelites back to God.
Beloved, Abraham, Jesus’ disciples (including Paul of Tarsus whom He converted on his road to Damascus), David and Elijah all became notable leaders because they embraced the unknown and took calculated and prayerful risks. They were men of faith and I encourage you to emulate them.

5 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.

13 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
INTRODUCTION
The Bible in Psalms 34:19 says “Many are the afflictions of the righteous…”. We live in a world full of troubles and sorrows. Just imagine what we have all been through since March 2020. Jobs have been lost, homes have been lost, even lives have been lost. This is more than enough to depress us, make us sad so much so that many of us have lost hope. But the good news is that our God is able to turn things around for our good. We shouldn’t lose hope at all.
Hope in God: Psalms 42:5
The biblical hope is not just a desire for something good in the future, but rather, a confident expectation and desire for something glorious in the future. Biblical hope not only desires something good for the future — it expects it to happen. And it not only expects it to happen — it is confident that it will happen.
A few biblical examples of those who hoped in God.
Abraham:Romans 4:18-22.
The Bible tells us that Abraham hoped against hope. He looked beyond the situation of his wife who had passed the age of child bearing and was confident that God that promised is able to fulfill His promise.
The Woman with the issue of blood:Matthew 9:20-22
Though her situation was hopeless, she managed to have hope that if she could just touch the helm of Jesus, she would be made whole. It wasn’t a wish or uncertainty but a certain level of confidence that her healing had come. She touched Jesus by faith and was made whole.
CONCLUSION
Beloved, our hope is built on Jesus Christ. Let’s not give up, our tomorrow will be better than today. It doesn’t matter what you are currently going through, the One who has promised us a glorious future has the power to bring it to pass.
But before we pray, settle any issue of sin in your life. Give your life to Jesus, if you haven’t done so genuinely. And repent of every known sin if you have backsided.

Let’s ask God for mercies.
Let’s thank God that despite all that has happened this year, we are still standing.
Let’s talk to God about the things that has dampened our spirits and ask for a turnaround for good.
Let’s begin to declare our glorious future with confident expectation.
Let’s begin to ask God to bring about better leadership and positive transformation in our land.
Let’s begin to prophesy into our lives, homes, careers, businesses and ministry that we will not be victims of circumstances in the remaining few days this year.
Let’s take any other personal prayers.

The Application Window for the 2021/22 Africa Initiative for Governance (AIG) Scholarships is now open.
The AIG Scholarships are targeted at graduates between the ages of 25 and 35 with strong intellectual capability, outstanding academic achievements, leadership skills and a passion to contribute to the development of Africa’s public sector.
Requirements For AIG Masters Scholarship Qualification
Be a citizen of Nigeria or Ghana
Be between the ages of 25 and 35 years (must not be 36 years old by December 31, 2021)
Have a first-class or second-class upper undergraduate degree with honours (or equivalent international qualifications), as a minimum, in any discipline. For applicants with a degree from the USA, the minimum GPA sought is 3.7 out of 4.0
Be preferably top 10% of graduating class (First, Second or Master’s Degree) – evidence to be provided
Provide evidence of game-changing leadership and resultant impact
Show skills and interests outside of academics (evidence to be provided)

Let us therefore go before the Lord in prayers and confess that we are believing Him for the below mentioned and for other things that You are believing Him for:
1. I believe I am above always and never beneath. Amen.
2. I believe all things work together for my good. Amen.
3. I believe God has gone before me making every crooked path straight. Amen.
4. I believe that when I seek God first, He causes everything else to be added unto me. Amen.
5. I believe favour follows me everywhere I go. Amen.

God’s Perfect Glory Is In Your Spirit. Did you know that the Kingdom of God, with all of His glory, now resides in your heart? The perfect glory of God can never be contained in a room or found on the outside. The perfect glory of God isn’t something that the natural eyes can behold. The perfect glory of God is in your spirit.
Romans 8:30 NIV “And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.”
When we talk about the glory of God, many think of some physical cloud above their heads. Experiencing God’s glory is much more than being enveloped by a thick cloud; there’s more to it! In the Old Testament, whenever the glory of God appeared, it often manifested as a thick cloud (Exodus 19:9, 16; Ezekiel 10:14). When Solomon finished building the temple, the Bible says in 2 Chronicles 5:14: “…the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of the Lord filled the house of God.” That’s awesome, but there’s a higher level of glory for us in Christ!
What they had in the Old Testament was good, but you’re not to remain with “the good” and leave out “the best.” What God really wanted was for His glory to be “in you”; His glory “inthe building” was only a shadow of things to come and not His best, although some would prefer if they saw some physical “glory cloud.” Don’t remain at that babyhood stage. In Christianity, what we have is the oneness of our spirit with the Spirit of God. You don’t have to look for the glory outside you; it’s in your spirit!
Apostle Paul, understanding this, declared in Colossians 1:26-27 NASB: “…the mystery which had been hidden from the past ages and generations, but now has been revealed to His saints, to whom God willed to make known what the wealth of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles is, the mystery that is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” Did you know that the Kingdom of God, with all of His glory, now resides in your heart? The perfect glory of God can never be contained in a room or found on the outside. The perfect glory of God isn’t something that the natural eyes can behold. The perfect glory of God is in your spirit.
