Lord, you will always be proclaimed as God; all generations will remember you.

Celebrate the ever faithful God. Thank Him for what He has done and what we expect Him to do. Thank Him for the grace we are enjoying. Thank Him for His mercy that surrounds us. Thank you Lord for the privilege of knowing You as the Alpha and Omega. Ologojulo, Ololajulo, Onifejulo. The same yesterday today and forever. May Your Holy Name be continually praised forever and ever.

I pray this morning that everything we are thanking God for multiplies in our hands in Jesus Name, Amen!

Say Father please give me a turnaround encounter today in all areas of my life in Jesus Name.

Creation came in 6 days, man is a product of one day, anything can happen within one day, I decree that something great/spectacular is going to happen in all our lives today, this week, month and year in Jesus name.

We serve a merciful, compassionate and gracious God, God will rain His mercy over us all in Jesus name. He will continually make us vessels of His mercy in Jesus Name. Thank You Lord, for in Jesus Mighty name we pray.

TEXT: Romans 9:20-24
TITLE: VESSEL OF MERCY

v20 “But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed say to him who formed it, “Why have you made me like this?”

v21 Does not the potter have power over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for honour and another for dishonour?

V22 What if God, wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction,

v23 and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the VESSELS OF MERCY, which He had prepared beforehand for glory,

v24 even us whom He called……..?

I pray that today we will all become vessels of God’s mercy in Jesus Name.

1) Mercy is one of the greatest attributes of God. Deut 4:31 For the Lord your God is a merciful God, He will not forsake you nor destroy you…..

2) Mercy is the mysterious deep love of God upon man. Romans 9:15-16 For He says to Moses, I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion. So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy.

3) Mercy is the opposite of anger. God should remember mercy in anger. Habb 2:3

4) Mercy is the greatest wealth of God. Psalm103:8 He’s merciful, gracious, plenteous in mercy. Both righteous and unrighteous will find food to eat, so also rain and sunshine come over their heads.

I pray that the mercy of God will locate us today in Jesus name. Amen!

WHO IS A VESSEL OF MERCY?

1) Vessel of mercy are those prepared for glory. They are specially chosen by God. You are not ordinary. You don’t have what everybody has. God chose Jacob before glory. He loved Jacob and hates Esau. Romans 9:13.

2) Vessel of mercy are made for honour. God has power to make one good and the other for evil. Romans 9:21 . It is mercy of God that brought David to be made a king instead of Saul. Mercy was withdrawn from Saul and was given to David. 1 Samuel 16:1 .

I pray the grace of God will find us and make us carriers /vessel of His mercy in Jesus Name. God will establish His mercy covenant with us. He will continually show us His mercy in Jesus Name.

3) Vessels of mercy are specially called. Romans 9:24 . God can call anybody and choose to use them. Acts 9:1-9, Mercy of God turned mission of Saul of destruction to mission of Evangelism.

I pray that in any way we have been misbehaving, God will show us His mercy and turn our hearts around and use us for His glory.

4) All vessels of mercy know that it is not their power but by God’s mercy. Gen 32:10 Jacob said he is not worthy of all the mercy he received from God. God prospered Jacob so great by His mercy and Jacob knew it is not by his power.

I pray that God will enlarge our coast. Our little one will become many in Jesus Name.

5) Vessel of God carry special wisdom. No wonder Jacob sent gifts ahead of him to appease his brother Esau after separation of over 20yrs. He humbled himself “bowed himself to the ground seven times, until he came near to his brother” Genesis 32:13-20, Genesis 33:3 . Vessels of mercy know how to deal with enemies, friends, colleagues, Landlord/landlady, their Pastors, Co-workers in His vineyard.

It is a great joy to be a vessel of mercy. I pray that we will not be vessels of wrath fitted for destruction in Jesus Name. He raised Pharaoh for destruction. That will never be our portion in Jesus Name. Saul the king, God took the kingdom from him and gave to David. Vessel of mercy always take good things from the vessels of wrath. We will not be vessels of wrath in Jesus name. Amen!

PRAYERS

Let us thank God for His sustaining mercy over our lives and throughout the lockdown periods globally.

Say Oh Lord arise and have mercy on me and my family because the time to favour us, the set time is now in Jesus Name.

Say Oh Lord I decree and declare as for me and my family we will continually be vessels of Your mercy in Jesus Name.

Father by Your mercy, fill me and my family with the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord in Jesus Name.

Thank Him for answered prayers. Amen.

As you go out this morning and throughout this week, the presence of the Most High God will go with you. The Hand of the Lord for mercy, favour, peace and joy unspeakable will rest on you. This will be the best week you have ever seen in Jesus Name. Amen!

The routine of love in marriage comes in different ways for different people, this could be based on background, mindset or even religion, but saying ‘I do’ means being ready to shift away from some certain mindsets and beliefs.

A lady came to me, talking about how she feels the husband is not loving her enough, by her enough, she meant, no regular/spicy sex life, no romantic surprise giving, no sit out together, no regular hugs/pegs, not a thight cuddle in bed, and even when she has tried to communicate this with him, it still hasn’t yielded a positive result.

The husband on the other hand feels he is loving her enough, he wakes up in the morning and they pray together, he gives her money for the day’s meal before leaving for work, he comes back home and eats with her, gist with her the way he can, say the night prayers together, sex can come in once in a while but not too regular and the routine continues.

So you see, two different people, coming together as One.

Please hear me here, accepting to marry a person, is accepting sacrifice and patience.

Accepting to marry a person is accepting to open yourself to learn new things and your willingness to try new ideas.

Accepting to marry a person is accepting to adjust into a new lifestyle away from what you are already used to, in other to fit better with your spouse.

If you grew up from a background where saying I love you is sacred, and you’re now married to a spouse who sings I love you as a song, please learn the chorus and join the choir.

If you are the type that believes that kissing during the day or cuddling and holding each other at night reduces the Holy Spirit in you, that is a lie from the pit of hell, the Holy Spirit enjoys fellowship, He enjoys the oneness of your bodies as much as He enjoys the oneness of our spirits.

If your mindset about sex and romance is still sin, Please you are married now, it is no longer a sin, it is no longer sin, it is no longer sin, have sex, learn to enjoy it and ask your partner the JAMB question “are you satisfied?”

Uncle don’t beat her hand out when she tries to touch your joystick down there. Aunty don’t beat his hand out when he tries to touch your breasts or stroke it.

See, you don’t give approval for your spouse to touch your body only when you are in the mood to zwiizwii.

I believe you are hearing me dear married?

We are not called to get used to a background that won’t help our marriage, the goal is to have a happy home.

Deuteronomy 8: 18. Don’t be so heavenly minded that you become earthly useless. You were born for a purpose and among other forms of anointing that you need to fulfill your calling is the ‘anointing of wealth’. God expresses Himself in the realm of wealth. Let me ask you:

When you think about God, do you visualize a poor old man sitting on a broken wooden chair begging for alms?” No! You actually visualize God sitting on a throne of precious stones, surrounded by wealth, glory and power. Hence, God expresses Himself in wealth, glory and power. Hear this:

When Jesus came to this world, He came in the form of the fallen man – poor and defenseless BUT when He rose from the dead and ascended into heaven, He had the expression of a King-full of glory, power and Honour. That’s an expression of wealth. “…though HE was rich, yet for your sake HE became poor, so that through HIS poverty you might become rich.”~ 2nd Corinthians 8:9 Mark the word: *”…though HE was RICH…”* Friends, Jesus was not poor, ‘He was rich’ but only chose to express himself through poverty which was the state of the FALLEN MAN. Upon restoration and redemption, the programme of poverty was terminated and man was restored back to the realm of wealth. Even you can live in this realm of wealth. Just believe then understand and implement kingdom principles. May God fill your heart with the wisdom you need to create wealth. May He open your eyes to the hidden treasures of darkness and unknown wealth of His Kingdom. May He cause you to prosper in business and ministry in the coming season in Jesus Name! Say these with me: “I am anointed with the Holy Spirit.” “I am anointed with Power.” “I am anointed with Wealth.” *Maranatha!

Text is taken from *Genesis 21:15-19.*
15 And the water was spent in the bottle, and she cast the child under one of the shrubs.
16 And she went, and sat her down over against him a good way off, as it were a bowshot: for she said, Let me not see the death of the child. And she sat over against him, and lift up her voice, and wept.
17 And God heard the voice of the lad and the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What aileth thee, Hagar? fear not for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is.
18 Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in thine hand for I will make him a great nation.
19 *And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink.*

Hagar and her son, Ismael, having been sent out by Abraham at the insistence of Sarah became distressed.

Their provisions of bread and a bottle of water were spent, and Ishmael became sick.
He that used to be fully fed in Abraham’s house, where he waxed fat and kicked, now fainted and sunk, when he was brought to short allowance.
His mother, Hagar was in tears, and sufficiently mortified. Now she wishes for the crumbs she had wasted and made light of at her master’s table. Like one under the power of the spirit of bondage, she despairs of relief, counts upon nothing but the death of the child (Genesis 21:15,16). She had forgotten what God had told her, before Ishmael was born, that he should live to be a man, a great man.

So many of us are apt to forget God’s promises, whenever we found ourselves in a precarious situation that
seems to contradict God’s promises. This is because we live by sense.

In their distress, God graciously appeared for their relief: he heard the voice of the lad, Genesis 21:17. We read not of a word he said but his sighs, and groans, and calamitous state, cried aloud in the ears of mercy. An angel was sent to comfort Hagar with palliatives

God’s visit to comfort Hagar the bond woman with her son shows His readiness to help us His children, whenever we are in trouble.

God directed her to a present supply (Genesis 21:19): *He opened her eyes* (which were swollen and almost blinded with weeping), and then she saw a well of water.

If Hagar had been submissive to her Oga Sarah, she would not have been sent packing.

Note,
Many that have reason enough to be comforted go mourning from day to day, because they do not *see* the reason they have for comfort.
There is a well of water by them in the covenant of grace, but they are not aware of it. They have not the benefit of it, till the same God that opened their eyes to see their wound opens them to see their remedy,

So many of us are spiritually blind that even inside the Church, we sit side by side with our divine helpers but cannot see him.

There are Youths of marriage able age that couldn’t see their spouses, even in the Church because of spiritual blindness and they went out of the fold to marry unbelievers, thinking they can convert them.

If Samson had not been blind, he would not have had anything to do with Delilah, thought less of sleeping on her delicate laps which eventually cost him the anointing of God upon his life.

May the Lord God open our eyes today in Jesus name.
