Mark 1:37, “And when they had found him, they said unto him, All [men] seek for thee.”
MK. 1:35-39; LK. 4:42-44
This is an amazing statement. Jesus’ ministry was only a few months old and the masses of people were already seeking him out.
This is even more astonishing when you realize that Jesus had not used any of the conventional methods of publicity. In fact, Jesus had already rejected publicity during His first ministry in Jerusalem (Jn. 2:24-25). There was no natural explanation for Jesus’ success.
God is the one who promoted Jesus. And He used supernatural means to do it. It was not the slick techniques of Madison Avenue that brought the crowds–it was the awesome manifestation of God’s power.
Just the day before, Jesus had cast the demon out of a man at the synagogue in Capernaum (Mk. 1:21-28). This caused the whole city to gather at Peter’s house and Jesus healed every one of them (Lk. 4:40).
Jesus’ display of the miraculous power of God was the spark that the Holy Spirit used to light a fire in the hearts of these people. Jesus had this power because of His intimate relationship with His father. It is no accident that He was praying while all men were seeking Him.
As you seek to touch others with the new life that you’ve found in Christ, let God confirm His Word with the miraculous manifestations of His power through you

Matthew 8:6-7 says: “And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented. And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.” Here was a centurion, not even saved, not born again. It doesn’t even say he was a Jew, and yet he asked Jesus for help. He told Him he had someone dear to him who was not whole, someone who was not well. The servant was vexed, tormented, taken captive, and broken. Jesus immediately, without any questions or reservations said, “I will come and heal him.” Jesus wants to make people whole. He wants to come to your home and make you whole. I don’t know if you are broken financially, emotionally, relationally, in marriage, or in body, but Jesus is saying to you right now, “I will come and make you whole.” All you need to do today is just think how simple it was for the centurion. Make it as simple for you today. Say to Him, “Jesus, come and heal. Come and bless. Come and repair. Come and deliver.” Whatever you need, fill in the blank for yourself. Ask, and watch God arise.
He will come!

Ephesians_1-3. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled
Matthew 5:6, “Blessed [are] they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.”
MATTHEW 5:1-9
In the natural world, people eat even when they aren’t hungry. Many of us can prove that by turning sideways and looking at ourselves in the mirror. But in the spiritual realm, only those who are hungry can get fed. One of the worst things that can happen to us is spiritual complacency.
Being hungry for the things of God is one of the best things that can happen to us. Most people don’t feel that way. They would rather have the feeling of being full. But Jesus promised us that fullness would follow hunger. No hunger, no fullness.
Therefore, what many people hate is actually a sign of spiritual health. Longing for more of God is a healthy sign. No one hungers for God on their own. That is not the nature of man. No man hungers for God unless the Spirit of God is drawing him (Jn. 6:44).
Hungering for God doesn’t cause God to move in our lives, but it is a sign that God is already at work in us. We should praise God for spiritual hunger and be encouraged. He doesn’t make us hungry and then let us starve. He does so in order to fill us with His blessings and love. We need a hunger that will never be satisfied until the marriage supper of the Lamb.
Matthew_5-6: Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled
Proverbs 3:11-12 “My son, do not despise the chastening of the LORD, Nor detest His correction; For whom the LORD loves He corrects, Just as a father the son in whom he delights.”
Sometimes it is difficult to understand why certain things happen in your life. You need to trust God that He knows better and in spite of what seems to be a bad situation, He will always protect you and you will get through whatever you are going through. Many times God allows things in your life to build your character, so that His perfect will can be established in your life.
2-Timothy_3-16: All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness
Proverbs 3:27-28 (AMP) “27 Withhold not good from those to whom it is due [its rightful owners], when it is in the power of your hand to do it. 28 Do not say to your neighbor, Go, and come again; and tomorrow I will give it–when you have it with you.”
Jesus said that one day everyone will stand before Him and have to give an account of the good they done while here on earth. As a matter of fact He said that many will say on that day that they done great works in His name; driving out demons and healing the sick, but they did not care for others in need. When the fire of God is burning in your heart, you will be compelled to give and share with others. Amen!

John_10-11: I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
Adam and Eve were sinless and perfect when God created them. But they still could choose to do what was wrong (just like you and I can choose to do what we aren’t supposed to do).
When the devil tempted them to eat the forbidden fruit, they chose to do it. Although people talk about Adam and Eve eating an “apple” in the Garden of Eden, we don’t know what the fruit looked like or how it tasted. All we know is that it was the one fruit in that big, beautiful Garden that they weren’t supposed to eat.
Adam and Eve ate the fruit because the devil started them thinking about what it might be like. Then he lied about God’s rule to make them think that God was keeping something good from them. Pretty soon they wanted to eat the fruit more than they wanted to obey God’s rule.
Choosing to obey God is always better than choosing to disobey Him!
May Our God The Almighty prosper Nigeria and Israel and defend us from all our enemies in Jesus Christ Name, Amen!
Ephesians_6-1: Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right
1 In the LORD put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain? 2 For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart. 3 If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
4 The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD’S throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men. 5 The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth. 6 Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup. 7 For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.
May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!
And He said unto them, “Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest awhile: for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat (Mark 6:31)
Many times we just work and work and don’t know when to give our bodies the necessary rest. It’s good to be hardworking and very diligent at work but at the same time it’s equally important to realize that the human body has a limit of exertion it can endure. Stretching it beyond that limit makes the body subject to unnecessary wear and tear.
It’s therefore important you take very good care of your body, not only in the things you eat and do to your body, but also in making sure your body is well rested. The Bible tells us how that God blessed and sanctified the seventh day: “because that in it He had rested from all work…..” (Genesis 2:3).
The Lord Jesus, as our opening scripture indicates, took time off with His disciples to rest. Then in Mark 4:38, we learnt that He rested His body in sleep when He got tired: “And He was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto Him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?” On another occasion, He rested at the well of Samaria as revealed in John 4:6: “Now Jacob’s well was there: Jesus therefore, being wearied with His journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour”
The Lord rested because He was tired. So it’s possible to get tired, and when you get tired, you need to rest your body so it can recover. Many don’t do this and the implication is that they stand the risk of wearing out their bodies. Giving your body adequate rest is a way to maintain good health, so take it very seriously.
PRAYER
DEAR FATHER, THANK YOU FOR YOUR WORD THAT HAS ENLIGHTENED ME ON THE NECESSITY AND IMPORTANCE OF TAKING GOOD CARE OF MY BODY. THROUGH YOUR HELP, I’M ABLE TO GIVE MY BODY THE NECESSARY REST IT REQUIRES TO REMAIN HEALTHY, STRONG AND FIT FOR THE TASK AHEAD. I THANK YOU, LORD, FOR YOUR WORD, INDEED, IS GAINING THE MASTERY OVER MY BODY, EVEN AS IT RENEWS THE STRENGTH OF MY INNER MAN DAILY, IN THE MIG HTY NAME OF JESUS, AMEN!

BE CONSCIOUS OF WHO YOU ARE IN CHRIST JESUS
Jesus said unto him, have I been so long time with you, and yet have thou not known me, Philip? He that has seen me has seen the Father….. (John 14:9)
When Jesus walked the earth, He had the consciousness of a king that distinguished Him from the crowd. He had no consciousness of lack and He always confidently spoke words that amazed the religious people of His day.
One day, He said “the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” Jesus knew His Words weren’t empty; He was conscious of His divinity and boldly declared it. In John 6:38 He said “for I came down from Heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.” What boldness and audacity! Everyone knew Him as the son of Joseph the carpenter, yet He declared He came down from heaven. Only a man who knew who He really was could speak this way. No wonder He had absolute mastery over the circumstances of this world.
Again, in John 8:12, He said, “I am the light of the world: he that follows me shall not work in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” Can you beat that? He didn’t come talking about the light, but says, I am the light of the world.” No wonder the soldiers that were sent to arrest Him one time, after hearing Him speak, concluded “No man ever spoke like this man.” (John 7:46)
But did you know Jesus also spoke about you and said “You are the light of the world?” (Matthew 5:14). Therefore everywhere you go, you ought also to declare with gusto, ‘I am the light of the world!” be conscious of who you are in Christ Jesus, be bold to call yourself what God has called you.
Jesus gave us an example to follow of how to live victoriously on the earth. His consciousness of who He was controlled everything He said and did. You also can live as successfully as He did by following this principle. But first you need to have the Holy Spirit, for He’s the one who brings boldness into your spirit by making the consciousness of who you are in Christ Jesus real to you.
CONFESSION
I have in me the consciousness of a victor. I know who I am and I walk in the consciousness of this reality. I’m the light of the world and the salt of the earth. I walk in prosperity, peace, and divine health. Nothing can stop my progress for I have in me the yeast of greatness! Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the World! Amen!
