Kenyans Massive Protest

Kenya Protests 2025

The hate for President Ruto of Kenya has completely killed tribalism. Kenyans are really tired of the oppression. This revolution is massive!

Kenyans are tired of their oppressors the big question is when will Nigerians be tired of theirs???

Kenya youths are protesting against their goverment with support from their judiciary and media. A major news outlet defied goverment orders to stop airing protests, took legal action and won.

In Nigeria? Judiciary gives protesters prison sentences, even underage, Media tag them hoodlums.

Legacy of Light: What Pope Francis Taught the World by Peter Obi

Today, I joined Francis Cardinal Arinze, global dignitaries, and thousands of mourners at St. Peter’s Basilica, Rome, to pay my final respects to His Holiness, Pope Francis, who passed away on April 21. The solemn lying-in-state ceremony was a moment of deep reflection, as the world bids farewell to a man who embodied humility, simplicity, and selfless service.

Pope Francis was more than a Pontiff; he was a moral light in a world darkened by inequality and indifference. His life was a testament to leadership as a sacred duty, one rooted in compassion, truth, and service to the poor and marginalised. He lived for others, spoke for the voiceless, and reminded us all that leadership must be about lifting others, not self-exaltation.

I came to truly appreciate what he stood for after my appointment as a member of Scholars Occultantes – an international circle of thinkers he founded during his time as Archbishop. The organisation, dedicated to truth, ethical leadership, and social transformation, gave me a deeper insight into the intellectual and moral force behind his teachings.

I was blessed to meet Pope Francis on three occasions. Each encounter left a lasting impression. He radiated peace and inspired faith, and his presence was a quiet yet powerful reminder of the divine responsibility that leadership entails. His humility was infectious, his vision deeply human.

As we mourn this great soul, I urge political, religious, and community leaders, especially across Africa, to reflect on his life and commit to the values he upheld: justice, peace, and human dignity. Let this moment not just be one of mourning, but a call to lead with conscience, walk with the people, and govern with love.

May Pope Francis’ soul rest in perfect peace, and may his legacy live on in all who seek to serve humanity selflessly. -PO

Who is Sunday Jackson?

Sunday is a simple Christian farmer from Adamawa State.

He was attacked by a knife-wielding Fulani terrorist while trying to get food for his family.

Somehow, he overpowered the herder, and stabbed him to death – a clear act of self-defense.

What did the Nigerian Judiciary rule?

That even if the weapon belonged to the attacker; that even if the terrorist intended to kill Sunday, SUNDAY SHOULD HAVE RUN AWAY INSTEAD OF DEFENDING HIMSELF, and for killing his attacker, Sunday should face the deaath penalty.

The Nigerian Supreme Court, led by Justice Kekere-Ekun, UPHELD this barbaric ruling.

Dear Nigerian,

In case you don’t understand what this means, it implies that if you are attacked and you act in self defense and kill your attacker, you must die.

This ruling sets a dangerous precedent against your self preservation.

This ruling gives terrorists the judicial right to kill you.

It is time to disband this clown show of a judiciary.

It is time to destroy this disaster of an executive.

It is time to tear down this travesty of a legislature.

The longer we wait before we kill bad governance in Nigeria, the more innocent people die in Nigeria

Describe your most memorable vacation, Christmas holidays in my village

Daily writing prompt
Describe your most memorable vacation.

Describe your most memorable vacation, Christmas holidays in my village.

December festivities in Igbo land started before Christianity came to Igbo land.

We call it “Mmemme” which means “Celebration Or Merriment” and it differs from place to place but it falls around Christmas time and still celebrated all over Igbo land.

Most of our weddings are also around Christmas time

Chieftaincy coronations are at Christmas time

An Igbo man always sees himself as a sojourner wherever he is outside of his homeland.

He could be born and bred in Lagos, or America but he’ll forever see himself as an Igbo man and never regards his land of sojourn as his home.

Throughout my childhood, I grew up in several cities in Nigeria but we always went to the village every December 20th and stayed there till January 3rd or so.

It was a time of great merriment, cousins, In-laws and friends came home from all over the globe and celebrated Christmas in the village.

I remember the traditional dances, the moonlight dances and folk-tales, the masquerades, the crusades with films in open fields. The endless swimming at our local streams and rivers. The picking of fruits in the bushes and nearby forest without fear of wild animals and kidnappers.

Grandma made the best pots of soups for us and many other delicacies too numerous to mention.

We don’t go to sleep till around 2 AM or the fuel finishes from the generator.

Our men build their biggest homes in the village and Christmas time is a good time to relax from all the toiling in the city
