“The Power of One: How Individual Actions Can Change the World”

No Little People

In 1858, a Sunday School teacher named Mr. Kimball led a Boston shoe clerk to give his life to Jesus Christ. The clerk, Dwight L. Moody, became an evangelist. In England in 1879, he awakened evangelistic zeal in the heart of Frederick B. Meyer, the pastor of a small church.

F. B. Meyer, preaching to an American college campus, brought to Christ a student named J. Wilbur Chapman. Chapman, who worked with the YMCA, employed a former baseball player named Billy Sunday, to do evangelistic work.

Billy Sunday held a revival in Charlotte, NC. A group of local men were so enthusiastic about the revival that, afterward, they planned another evangelistic campaign and brought in a preacher named Mordecai Hamm. During Hamm’s revival, a young man named Billy Graham heard the gospel and yielded his life to Christ.

Only eternity will reveal the tremendous impact of that one Sunday School teacher, Mr. Kimball, who invested his life in the lives of others.

When you feel as though you are only one person and wondering what only one person can do, or you feel worthless and unimportant – STOP!!!  One person, doing what God has called them to do, can make a huge difference!  You may the first person in a chain of God-given events that produces the next Billy Graham.

No one is unimportant to God.  The person who led Billy Graham to Jesus Christ is just as important in God’s kingdom as Billy Graham himself.

God loves you and has a special plan for your life.  Starting today, ask God to use you for His Glory and to do His will.  He will amaze you with what He will do in your life!  But more importantly, He will amaze you with what He can do to change the whole world through just one person who is fully committed to Him.

Matthew 25:40 NLT

[40] “And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!’

Good morning.

Thank You Jesus,

Salvation Prayers

If you don’t Know Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour and would like to accept him into your life as your personal Lord and Saviour, Please say this prayer:

Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from You. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward You. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that Your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send Your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your Will for the rest of my life. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

After This Life There Is Eternity. Do You Have An Eternal Perspective? By Billy Graham

John_3-17: For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved

John_3-17: For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved

Jesus would not center His mission in an economic crusade. He would not live merely for time or forsake the cross for bread. Jesus saw that mankind had a deeper need. Men and women’s deepest need is spiritual. We need forgiveness, we need to be justified, we need to be reconciled to God. That is what Jesus Christ came to do.

We are to have concern for our neighbors. Jesus said, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself” (Matthew 22:39). Jesus is interested in social justice. But mankind’s deeper need could be met only by His death and resurrection. It would have been so simple for Jesus to avoid the cross, but then you and I would have been lost. We would be separated from God, because the only way we can be reconciled to God is through the cross. Jesus said, “Man shall not live by bread alone” (Matthew 4:4).

It is difficult for me to understand how intelligent people can spend all of their time building for this world and have no time for the future world. After this life there is eternity. This life is a preparation for eternity. You are to come to the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen!

May God Bless Nigeria, America And Israel And Take Care Of Us; May God Make His Face Shine Upon Us, And Be Gracious To Us; May The Lord Lift Up His Countenance Upon Us, And Give Us Peace, In Jesus Christ Name, We Pray! Amen!

God’s gift of Salvation is free

Is Anything in Life Free Anymore?  Yes, God’s gift of Salvation is free! That’s what Easter is all about! God paid the debt for you through His Son, Jesus!”

By Will Graham

The Easter Sunrise Service has always been one of my favorite services to preach. There’s something so special and unique about gathering to worship the risen Savior on Easter morning. It’s a time when we can focus most on the sacrifice and glorious resurrection of Jesus, which gives us hope and removes the sting of death. I love it!

I remember several years ago when I was in college and dating the beautiful woman who would one day be my bride, Kendra. I took her with me to visit my grandfather, Billy Graham, for Easter in Montreat, N.C.

On our way back to Liberty University that afternoon, we drove up to Boone, N.C., to see my parents. We pulled into a little gas station on the south side of U.S. Route 70 to fuel up and be on our way. I vividly remember standing in line while the people in front of me made friendly conversation with the clerk behind the counter.

“Nothing’s free anymore!” the man chuckled as he handed over the money to pay for his gasoline purchase.

At that moment God told me to speak. My heart cried out to share the Gospel with these people: “Yes, God’s gift of Salvation is free! That’s what Easter is all about! God paid the debt for you through His Son, Jesus!”

My friends, that’s what I should have said.

Sadly, I kept that proclamation to myself. I regret it to this day. God gave me the words to say and wanted me to share His hope on that glorious Easter day with people who likely needed to hear it, but I disobeyed him and kept it silently in my heart. Frankly, I chickened out.

I made a covenant with God that day that if I ever felt Him speaking through me again, I would share it boldly and not hold back. Who knows? Sharing the words He gives us may be the difference between someone spending an eternity in Heaven or in Hell; the difference between a life of hope and a life of discouragement and despair.

As we celebrate Christ’s resurrection this year, I encourage you to listen to God as He speaks to you, and be His mouthpiece as He speaks through you. Easter is what it’s all about, and we need to take every opportunity available to us to share His saving message.

Has God laid on your heart the names of friends and loved ones who need to know Him?

May GOD bless Nigeria, America and Israel and take care of us; May GOD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the LORD lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

May the grace the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen!
