My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge… Hosea 4:6

Has anyone ever asked you who you are? You should always have an answer for such questions. You are somebody special, made in the image and likeness of God. You are the child of the most High God, and He lives in you through the Holy Spirit, who knows all things, teaches, guides and lives in you.

There’s absolutely nothing ordinary about you; therefore refuse to let just anything happen to you. Learn to take control of your body, country, school and family, through your words of faith and in the Name of Jesus.

Thank You Jesus,

Salvation Prayers

If you don’t Know Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour and would like to accept him into your life as your personal Lord and Saviour, Please say this prayer:

Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from You. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward You. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that Your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send Your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your Will for the rest of my life. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

Know What Christ Jesus Has Done For You. Jesus Is The Real Deal! All Out For Jesus. Child Of God, When You Come To A Clear Realization Of The Finished Work Of Calvary, No One Will Beg You To Serve This Our God.

Know What Christ Jesus Has Done For You. Jesus Is The Real Deal! All Out For Jesus. Child Of God, When You Come To A Clear Realization Of The Finished Work Of Calvary, No One Will Beg You To Serve This Our God.

“And he spake boldly in the name of the Lord Jesus, and disputed against the Grecians: but they went about to slay him.” Acts 9:29. KJV

The book of Acts 9:27 talks about a religious and arrogant man called Saul who had never bowed to any man. He was a Pharisee and was blameless concerning the law. He understood the law and as far as he was concerned, he kept the law. He also believed that was what gave him the right to defend the law. He was one man that championed the persecution against the church. He was so powerful that his fear and dread swept through the land but one day, he saw something bigger than him when he encountered Jesus.

Each time I read about the encounter, I am awed at the greatness of our God. Imagine a man like Saul, so confident of himself bowing down and calling Him Lord even before He introduced Himself. We see this in verse 5: Acts 9:5 (KJV): “And he said, Who art thou, Lord?” That is the bigness of the God you serve. Immediately after the encounter, Paul counted everything he had ever achieved as dung. He discovered that Jesus is the real deal! He did not care about the persecution he would face. He could not care less about what the Jews would think. He went all out for Jesus.

Throughout the book of Acts of the Apostles, we read about how Paul spoke boldly in the name of the Lord Jesus, disputing against the Grecians despite their plot to kill him. He refused to be intimidated because he knew clearly what Jesus Christ had done. Child of God, when you come to a clear realization of the finished work of Calvary, no one will beg you to serve this God. If you are still playing hide and seek in the service of God, it is a clear evidence that you do not know what He did for you. Take time to meditate on the finished work of Calvary and catch a glimpse of what He has done for you.

This World Is Not Our Home; Our Citizenship Is In Heaven. When A Christian Dies, He Goes Into The Presence Of Christ. He Goes To Heaven To Spend Eternity With God.

This World Is Not Our Home; Our Citizenship Is In Heaven. When A Christian Dies, He Goes Into The Presence Of Christ. He Goes To Heaven To Spend Eternity With God.

For we know that when this tent we live in now is taken down-when we die and leave these bodies-we will have wonderful new bodies in heaven, homes that will be ours forevermore, made for us by God himself, and not by human hands. — 2 Corinthians 5:1 (TLB)

Death, to the Christian, is the exchanging of a tent for a building. Here we are as pilgrims or gypsies, living in a frail, flimsy home; subject to disease, pain, and peril. But at death we exchange this crumbling, disintegrating tent for a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. The wandering wayfarer comes into his own at death and is given the title to a mansion which will never deteriorate nor crumble. Do you think that God, who has provided so amply for living, has made no provision for dying? The Bible says we are strangers in a foreign land. This world is not our home; our citizenship is in heaven. When a Christian dies, he goes into the presence of Christ. He goes to Heaven to spend eternity with God.

PRAYER FOR THE DAY:

Dear Lord, today keep me mindful that as Your child my real home is not on this earth, but that one day I will exchange this tent for a house made by You in heaven.

Thank You Jesus.

Child Of God, Identify Your Office And Operate Therein. Identify Your Spiritual Gift Or Gifts And Begin To Operate In Its Fullness, To The Glory Of God. Amen.

Hebrews_10-25:Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
Hebrews_10-25:Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Child Of God, Identify Your Office And Operate Therein. Identify Your Spiritual Gift Or Gifts And Begin To Operate In Its Fullness, To The Glory Of God. Amen.

MEMORISE:

Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men. Proverbs 22:29

READ: 1 Corinthians 12:4-7.

4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.

5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.

6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.

7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.

MESSAGE:

Apostle Paul tells us in the Bible reading of today that he would not want us to be ignorant of the truth concerning our calling as Christians and workers in the vineyard. Hosea 4:6 also emphasizes the danger of ignorance:

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…”

In order words, lies hold people captive! In Proverbs 22:29 we read that a person who is diligent in his or her business shall stand before kings. In what business? The fellow is to be diligent in whatever is committed into his or her hands – Academically, Professionally, Spiritually and in all other areas.

“Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.” Ecclesiastes 9:10

The Scripture above emphasizes the need for diligence.

In the light of today’s reading, let us consider some things worthy of learning: ONE, it is possible for Christians to be ignorant of facts about spiritual gifts. TWO, there are many gifts in the body of Christ and every believer should possess at least one. THREE, it is the Holy Spirit who distributes gifts to every believer as He chooses. FOUR, there are differences in the administration as well as division of labor. Thus, believers should beware of carrying out too many activities in the Church by themselves because it could be counter-productive. FIVE, though there are differences in operations from believer to believer, it is the same God through His Holy Spirit that works in all genuine believers. SIX, the Holy spirit then gives different assignments to different believers for the edification of the entire Body of Christ.

Thus, we see that it is not for the fun of it that believers are endowed with one gift or another. Therefore, we come to THE SEVENTH LESSON: no gifts either superior or inferior to another. For this reason, Apostle Paul further wrote to warn us against discriminating in the use of the spiritual gifts (1 Corinthians 15:17).

Therefore beloved, let us work together as many members, but one indivisible Body of Christ- everyone playing his or her part as the Lord has given us enablement. We shall not miss our reward in Jesus’ name. Amen.

ACTION POINT:

Identify your spiritual gift(s) and begin to operate in its fulness, to the glory of God. Amen.

Let me tell you child of God, whatever the Lord has packaged for you, no one will take away from you

Let me tell you child of God, whatever the Lord has packaged for you, no one will take away from you

1-John_4-4: Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

1-John_4-4: Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?” Roman 8:31

What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

David was the man God called after Saul disappointed Him. The Bible said of David I have found me a man after my own heart. In other words God found the man that will do what He wants. And then He sent Prophet Samuel to the house of Jesse to anoint David as king. When he got there all the sons of Jesse came; Eliab, Abinadab, Shamak and the rest came but David was not there. It happened that God was organizing something for David but he was not invited. Let me tell you child of God, whatever the Lord has packaged for you, no one will take away from you. They can manipulate and do all human arrangements but as long as it is not God’s arrangement they will never take it away from you. God’s word concerning you will come to pass and if no one will speak for you God Himself will speak for you. At times we may not have a voice but I am glad that the God that we serve has the loudest voice. He knows how to speak for people who cannot speak for themselves.

Jeremiah_29-11: For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end

Jeremiah_29-11: For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end

They had to look for David. So they will look for you because nothing will proceed without you because you have a vital role to play. They looked for David and he was anointed king in the midst of his brethren. This was a man that was forgotten but suddenly, in an instant, he became king.

Beloved, you must allow God to be God. In addition to the foregoing, someone was at the palace speaking on behalf of David. Saul became mentally deranged and someone said to the king I know a man who knows how to play music and your condition will be minimized. David did not solicit for the publicity. In the same vein God will make it happen for you.

Psalms_5-12-1: For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.

Psalms_5-12-1: For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.

David suddenly moved from the backside of the desert where he was playing music for animals to the palace. I declare that you are moving to the palace. Right now it looks as if you are a nobody, you come into church and go out, and nobody recognizes you. Just keep coming. All I can promise you is that the word of God will do wonders in your life. What he did for others He will do in your life. Favour will attend to you anywhere you go. You will attract favour nationally and internationally. What has been difficult for you to sell, this month you will sell it. Beginning from now your testimony starts. The treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, the treasures in the sand, in the air, in the trees, in the hills and valleys and mountains, treasures that are yet hidden that no one has found, I release them to you now. This year you will overtake your overtakers, Amen!

Child Of God, God Is God Whether On The Sea Or In The Land Or In The Air. No Storm Of The Enemy Will Kill You

Jeremiah_32-27: Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?

Jeremiah_32-27: Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?

“God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?”

Numbers 23:19 (KJV)

1-Samuel_2-2: There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God

1-Samuel_2-2: There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God

We must learn to leave God in His exclusive class. In His dealings with us as his children, let’s leave Him and keep working with Him. He came through for the children of Israel after 430 years in Egypt. Let’s not be in the company of those who say that it never happened. The truth is that it happened. He came through for Joseph. He came through for David. For 13 years David was running from pillar to post because he was on death roll but God saw him through. If God saw all these people through He will see you through, if you will only believe.

Today I am still going to show you some people for whom God came through. Look at Paul! Several attempts were made on his life. The devil tried many ways to kill him on his way to Rome but God said Paul you are going to get to Rome. Some people took an oath that they will not break their fast until they have killed him but God used a small boy to expose their plot. Why? It is because Jehovah has spoken and His word cannot be broken. And on their way to Rome the storm came from nowhere but the Lord assured him that even if it is on a piece wood Paul was going to get to Rome and they landed.

When they landed, the devil said now that you are on land I am going to kill you still. A viper fastened itself on him and they thought that he was going to die because if such snake bites you, you are dead. But Paul was still standing.

Child of God, God is God whether on the sea or in the land or in the air. If He delivered on the sea, He will deliver on the land. I declare to you today that no storm of the enemy will kill you. They may come against you in one way but they shall be scattered. You will fulfil your purpose in life and arrive at your destiny. Your life will not be cut short. No matter the situation, God will come through for you. You will testify. I bless you in the name of the Lord.

Child Of God, Stay Focussed On God. Don’t Act In Ignorance

Genesis_28-15-1: And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of

Genesis_28-15-1: And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of

“When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.”

Isaiah 43:2.

Beloved, what I want you to put at the back of your mind is that God will always come through for His people. If He said it, He will do it. If you check the scriptures for His track record, you will discover those He came through for. He came through for Sarah and Abraham. He made a promise to them and twenty five years down the line, it seemed it will not happen but it eventually happened. They had occasion to doubt and to turn their back on God but they stood their ground.

He came through for Zachariah and Elizabeth who were serving God, committed and dedicated. The scripture is careful to tell us in Luke chapter one that these people were serving God faithfully and yet they had no child. They had grown old and there was no possibility of having a child. They didn’t turn their back on God or get angry at Him. But it was when they were in active service in the temple that the Lord came through for them. Let me ask you, when you are angry at God what can you do to Him? I make bold to tell you that whether you serve him or not, He still remains God. Love Him or not, He is still God.

The other day Job was trying to tell God all his qualifications and was saying based on that, he doesn’t see why he should suffer the things he was suffering. I feared you and eschewed evil but look at what has befallen me. Everything I had has been wiped out. How can you say that you love me and these things are happening? Job queried. When he was through with all his questions, in Job 39, God said Ok, it is time for me to ask you my own questions; because if you want to come to me by your merit I will prove to you that you will score something worse than a “fail“. To prove to you that you are zero, I am going to use the everyday things to talk to you. And God began to ask, “Do you know how a goat gives birth to a child? And God asked him several other questions and by the time He was through Job said I was stupid and I have acted in my ignorance. Child of God, stay focussed on God. Don’t act in ignorance. I assure you He will come through for you. I bless you in the name of the Lord.
