I am the righteousness of God through Jesus Christ

Is my LORD and Saviour Jesus Christ righteous before My Heavenly Father? Yes! Then so I am. Is He accepted before God? Yes! Then so I am. Is He well-pleasing before God? Yes! Then so I am!

As Christ is, so I am in this world. Is Christ holy? Yes! Then so I am! Hallelujah! Amen!

May GOD bless Nigeria, America and Israel and take care of us; May GOD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the LORD lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

May the grace the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen

There is now no more condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus

Today, beloved, believe that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Start walking in the freedom, from condemnation that Christ has purchased for you on the cross of Calvary and enjoy the blessings that are on the head of the righteous! Hallelujah!

When Jesus died on the cross, all your failures were already condemned in His body. Today, you are free to live a victorious life not because of your obedience to the law, but because of your obedience of faith in Jesus Christ blood and righteousness!

Amen

I know that my Redeemer lives

Česky: Kříže - symbol utrpení Ježíše Krista a ...

I know that my Redeemer liveth.

Job 19:25

The marrow of Job’s comfort lies in that little word “My”-“My Redeemer,” and in the fact that the Redeemer lives. Oh! To get hold of a living Christ. We must get a property in Him before we can enjoy Him. What is gold in the mine to me? Men are beggars in Peru, and beg their bread in California. It is gold in my purse which will satisfy my necessities, by purchasing the bread I need. So a Redeemer who does not redeem me, an avenger who will never stand up for my blood, of what avail were such? Rest not content until by faith you can say “Yes, I cast myself upon my living Lord; and He is mine.” It may be you hold Him with a feeble hand; you half think it presumption to say, “He lives as my Redeemer;” yet, remember if you have but faith as a grain of mustard seed, that little faith entitles you to say it. But there is also another word here, expressive of Job’s strong confidence, “I know.” To say, “I hope so, I trust so” is comfortable; and there are thousands in the fold of Jesus who hardly ever get much further. But to reach the essence of consolation you must say, “I know.” Ifs, buts, and perhapses, are sure murderers of peace and comfort. Doubts are dreary things in times of sorrow. Like wasps they sting the soul! If I have any suspicion that Christ is not mine, then there is vinegar mingled with the gall of death; but if I know that Jesus lives for me, then darkness is not dark: even the night is light about me. Surely if Job, in those ages before the coming and advent of Christ, could say, “I know,” we should not speak less positively. God forbid that our positiveness should be presumption. Let us see that our evidences are right, lest we build upon an ungrounded hope; and then let us not be satisfied with the mere foundation, for it is from the upper rooms that we get the widest prospect. A living Redeemer, truly mine, is joy unspeakable.

Amen!

For When You Feel Alone

For When You Feel Alone By Samantha Evilsizer

“As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in his love.” John 15:9-10 (ESV)

Miss Emma‘s wrinkled hands cupped my chin—her palm a reservoir for my tears. I walked down the hallways saying tearless goodbyes to 119 other residents, and yet my farewell with her released a levy of emotions.

The scattered pieces of my heart felt like they were blown about by the scurrying of nurses’ footsteps and doctors’ orders resounding off the walls of the nursing home.

It felt wrong to leave her alone, forsaken in this dark place.

Her family, or lack thereof, had rendered her anchorless; adrift in the lonely sea of a 120 bed facility. A drab place where my Activities Department team and I were brought in to dispel the dreariness. My job at “The Brick” would have been more bleak if not for Miss Emma and a few others.

I didn’t allow many details of this place to sink in further than the surface of my heart. Stories repeated ten times each day rolled off my back. Routines of medicine and meals and the wandering of hallways became mundane tasks. Yet one name, one person, chiseled deep into my heart: Miss Emma.

I perched on the edge of our goodbye, on the edge of her bed, hesitant to leave her. “Who’ll sit in the sunshine with you? Who’ll listen? Who’ll sing hymns with you?”

Worry wrung my heart. Visions of Miss Emma, alone … lonely … made my jaw tense and ache with pain for her. A square punch by sadness will do that to a girl.

But not her. Beautiful brown saucers brimmed with confidence. I waded in the refreshing waters of her eyes, rich pools of wisdom.

“I’ll be fine sugar … I’m never alone. Don’t you realize the One who created the sun sits with me? He listens always, hearing my prayers and needs. His presence is in the very praises we sing to Him. Child, we’re never alone.”

Tucked away from the world, Miss Emma changed mine. She lived tightly knit to the Vine. Abided in Jesus’ love through His Word and worship and prayer. Miss Emma dwelled in this truth:

Christ beside me, Christ before me,

Christ behind me, Christ within me,

Christ beneath me, Christ above me. ~St. Patrick

Though abandoned by her earthly family, she rested in the knowledge that her Heavenly Father never would leave her. Indeed, He made a home in her so she could nestle in Him.

Her solid assurance lifted my chin, calmed my heart. The strength she found in the truth that Christ never leaves us left a lasting impression on me. I began looking for ways He was with me: by giving me the wisdom to hold my tongue, or helping me sleep at night, or steadying me when anxious.

Might we find hope in Him today as well? Curl up in His love by writing a Scripture verse on our heart. Lean into God‘s sure presence through lifting our voice in praise. Abide in His peace with a time of prayer … sharing and listening.

Christ is within us, before us, behind us. And as Miss Emma so confidently knew, He will never leave or forsake us. We’re never alone.

Dear Lord, thank You for calling us Your children. And for making a home within us, so we may rest secure in You. Because You are our dwelling place, we are never alone. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Amen!

What a Savior we have in Christ Jesus

Česky: Kříže - symbol utrpení Ježíše Krista a ...

What a Savior we have in Christ Jesus!

He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God.

John 1:11-12, NKJV

God left His throne at the center of the universe. He set aside His glory, and He humbled Himself as He took on human flesh.

He came to His own – those whom He had created for Himself – but they didn’t receive Him.

They contradicted His Word.

They challenged His authority.

They denied His claims.

They questioned His motives.

They mocked His power.

They rejected His Person.

And God in Christ submitted Himself to their slapping, spitting, mocking, taunting, flogging, and stripping then allowed them to nail Him to a cross where He gave His own life as a sacrifice for their sin. And mine. And yours. His own death satisfied His own judgment for sin, and we are saved. Hallelujah! What a Savior!

Amen!

A Muslim Boy’s Journey to Christ.

By The Voice of the Martyrs Canada

Faith

Imagine what it would be like if your decision to follow Jesus made you an outcast from your family and even a target for death.

That’s what happened to a man named Abdu. But the power of love broke down the barriers and brought him and his family back together.

These days Abdu and his father, Suleman, spend time praying and studying the Bible together. Some might call that a miracle since the two did not speak for nearly 20 years.

In fact, Abdu’s father once tried to kill him. Why? Because at the age of 16 he decided to leave Islam and follow Jesus.

An Unexpected Visit

The young man’s journey of faith began with an unexpected visit.

“I was sleeping and Jesus woke me up, and it was like a dream or revelation,” Abdu recalled.

Abdu gave his life to Christ after reading from a borrowed Bible. His decision made his family angry because in their Muslim community, leaving Islam brings disgrace.

“We didn’t know what kind of belief he brought,” Suleman said. “We were fundamentalist Muslims and were very upset. That is why we were against him.”

“Our neighbors also told us he brought a foreign religion here which is not good, and they said, ‘Attack him and don’t accept him,'” he said.

His mother, Semira, was also very upset when she learned her son became a Christian.

“I had deep, deep sorrow in my heart because I thought I had lost my boy,” she said. “I thought we can’t even be buried together when our days are over. It was a big sorrow at that time.”

Village leaders tried to intimidate Abdu by ordering a gang of young men to attack him.

“As I was walking to school, they met me on the road and they beat me very badly with a rope and made me suffer,” Abdu recalled. “They [asked] me, if this was my final decision. If I continued to be a Christian, they said they would take the full measure and would kill [me].”

Still, Abdu refused to renounce Jesus, and his father became so angry that he tried to kill him.

“We chased him out from our home because we didn’t want to be against our neighbors. He brought different things [here] so we chased him out and he went to another village,” Suleman said.

During his years in exile from his family, Abdu worked at a church as a security guard and grew stronger in his faith. He read more than 100 Christian books and began discipline other former Muslims who had come to Jesus.

Thawing Hearts

But Abdu’s mother missed him terribly, and after many years of separation, she slipped away to visit her son.

“During the six years, I had heard that he wasn’t drinking alcohol and doing bad things,” she said. “But the boys who were his friends here were doing those things, so I decided to see him secretly.”

Impressed by the changes in her son’s life, Semira began to consider Christ. However, it took 10 years before she too would leave Islam to follow Jesus.

“I believed that the faith of my son was true and correct, but now I had a big problem with my husband,” Semira said. “But I still decided to follow Jesus and tried to bring [my husband] to Christ. We showed big love to him and big changes in our character. This influenced him.”

About a year later, Suleman’s heart softened under the influence of God‘s big love. Now, he and the rest of his family, about 40 of them, are all Christians.

A hut on the family property is now a place of worship to the Lord and for hearing the Gospel.

“I’m very happy that my family has come to Jesus,” Abdu said. “But the biggest thing that makes me excited is that near the home [where] I grew up is a place being used as a church. People are coming and praying and giving their lives to Christ!”

A Missionary to Muslims

Abdu is now a missionary to Muslims in areas that are hostile to the Gospel.

With help from the Voice of the Martyrs Canada and Scotland, Abdu oversees a tentmakers’ project for six other former Muslims who are sharing their faith.

“Our way of bringing people to Christ is not only telling them the Bible, but we show them big love and share our things with them and also show them the good life we have in Christ,” Abdu said.

That approach has been very effective, with thousands of former Muslims responding to the Gospel.

As for Suleman, while he and his family are persecuted for the faith, he said he’s not about to return to Islam and he looks forward to eternity with the Lord.

“The fundamentalists can do the worst they can to us,” Suleman said. “The last option for them is to kill us. We don’t mind if they kill us because some believers will bury us.”

“For us, it is better with Christ than to live in the community without Christ,” he said. “We don’t feel fear. These days for us are not a threat.”

Amen!

The Blood Of Jesus Christ.

The Blood of Jesus Christ

How much more . . . will the blood of Christ . . . cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death.

Hebrews 9:14, NIV

Do you know people who arrogantly insist that if their good works outweigh their bad works, God is somehow obligated to accept them? As you look around, what “fruit” do you see others bringing to the place of sacrifice instead of humbly approaching God through the blood of His Son? The “fruit” of

religious activity,

good works,

morality,

or philanthropy?

Many people do not want to come to the place of sacrifice, the Cross of Jesus Christ, because it intensifies the conviction of their own sin and judgment and is a reminder that heaven’s gate is closed to sinners. God warns that “a man is not justified by observing the law,” (Gal. 2:16, NIV) because “without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness” of sin (Heb. 9:22, NIV). So humble yourself, come to the Cross, and thank God for the blood of Jesus that is sufficient to forgive any and all sin

Amen!

God’s gift of Salvation is free

Česky: Kříže - symbol utrpení Ježíše Krista a ...

Is Anything in Life Free Anymore?  Yes, God’s gift of Salvation is free! That’s what Easter is all about! God paid the debt for you through His Son, Jesus!”

By Will Graham

The Easter Sunrise Service has always been one of my favorite services to preach. There’s something so special and unique about gathering to worship the risen Savior on Easter morning. It’s a time when we can focus most on the sacrifice and glorious resurrection of Jesus, which gives us hope and removes the sting of death. I love it!

I remember several years ago when I was in college and dating the beautiful woman who would one day be my bride, Kendra. I took her with me to visit my grandfather, Billy Graham, for Easter in Montreat, N.C.

On our way back to Liberty University that afternoon, we drove up to Boone, N.C., to see my parents. We pulled into a little gas station on the south side of U.S. Route 70 to fuel up and be on our way. I vividly remember standing in line while the people in front of me made friendly conversation with the clerk behind the counter.

“Nothing’s free anymore!” the man chuckled as he handed over the money to pay for his gasoline purchase.

At that moment God told me to speak. My heart cried out to share the Gospel with these people: “Yes, God’s gift of Salvation is free! That’s what Easter is all about! God paid the debt for you through His Son, Jesus!”

My friends, that’s what I should have said.

Sadly, I kept that proclamation to myself. I regret it to this day. God gave me the words to say and wanted me to share His hope on that glorious Easter day with people who likely needed to hear it, but I disobeyed him and kept it silently in my heart. Frankly, I chickened out.

I made a covenant with God that day that if I ever felt Him speaking through me again, I would share it boldly and not hold back. Who knows? Sharing the words He gives us may be the difference between someone spending an eternity in Heaven or in Hell; the difference between a life of hope and a life of discouragement and despair.

As we celebrate Christ’s resurrection this year, I encourage you to listen to God as He speaks to you, and be His mouthpiece as He speaks through you. Easter is what it’s all about, and we need to take every opportunity available to us to share His saving message.

Has God laid on your heart the names of friends and loved ones who need to know Him?

May GOD bless Nigeria, America and Israel and take care of us; May GOD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the LORD lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

May the grace the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen!

Where Will You Spend Eternity? This Question Comes To You And Me! Tell Me, What Shall Your Answer Be. Where Will You Spend Eternity?

Many are choosing Christ today, turning from all their sins away; heaven shall their happy portion be; where will you spend eternity

Leaving the straight and narrow way, going the downward road today, sad will the final ending be. Lost through a long eternity!

Repent, believe this very hour, trust in the Saviour’s grace and power, then shall your joyous answer be, saved through a long eternity.

Where will you spend eternity?

This question comes to you and me!

Tell me, what shall your answer be.

Where will you spend eternity!?

How do we know the difference between the flesh and the Holy Spirit within us?

Dove of the Holy Spirit (ca. 1660, alabaster, ...

How do we know the difference between the flesh and the Holy Spirit within us?

“I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh. For the flesh sets its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, so that you may not do the things that you please” (Galatians 5:16-17).

The very Spirit of God has taken up residence in our lives if we have accepted Jesus Christ as our Savior. God wants to express His mind, His thoughts, His desires, and His will through our mortal bodies. But for us to see this happen, we need to be under the Holy Spirit’s control.

While this is taking place, we are going to experience conflict within ourselves. This is one way we can know we are Christians. If we have no battles raging within, we are probably not saved. There is no opposition within us. God says the flesh and the Spirit are total opposites; they are not going to get along with each other at all.

How do we know the difference between the flesh and the Holy Spirit within us? The Spirit will want to please God, and the flesh will want to please ourselves.

That’s why the war going on inside of us is good, not bad. Most of us feel guilty about having such a battle. Of course, we may not like the feeling, but the two laws operating in our bodies should give us occasion to praise God.

May GOD bless Nigeria, America and Israel and take care of us; May GOD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the LORD lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

Insult

Insult (In –Salt) Sermon

TEXT: Proverbs 12:16

“A fool shows his annoyance at once, but a prudent man overlooks an insult”

USES OF SALT

For Seasoning

For Preservation

For healing of wounds

In the old testament for sacrifice – Lev 2:13

The Bible says in Matthew 5:13A

“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men”

EXAMPLES IN THE BIBLE

  • King Saul. 1 Samuel 1:6-7 (Let Your actions speak for you! Choose to ignore! God will raise Helpers for you!)

  • Hannanh – 1 Samuel 1:6-7 (Let It Provoke You To Action)

The 1st human reaction to insults is to retaliate. Insult them back, your flesh wants to do this.

But this is not the Christ way.

1 Peter 2:20-23 says “For what credit is there if you endure the beating you deserve for having done wrong? But if you endure suffering even when you have done right, God will bless you  for Christ Himself suffered for you and left you an example, so that you would follow in His steps.

He committed no sin, and no one ever heard a lie come from His lips.

When He was insulted, He did not answer back with an insult; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but placed His hopes in God, the Righteous Judge.”

Solders mocked Him when they put the crown thorn on His head. One of the thieves crucified by His side made fun of Him.

Passerbys shook their heads at Him in disgust as they hurled insults at Him.

He never retaliated. He did not even make threats.

Instead of making threats, Our LORD and Saviour Jesus Christ said in Luke 23:34Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.

Even when He was arrested in Matthew 26:52 He said “Don’t you know that I could call on my Father for help, and at once He would send me more than twelve armies of angels?” (80,000angels)

  • Remember nobody can hurt you without your permission.

  • Remember nothing will be gained by getting all frustrated and bitter! Proverbs 12:6 says “ A fool shows his annoyance at once, but a prudent man overlooks an insult.”

  • Lastly, remember that there will always be somebody who adores everything about you and says only nice things about you, and someone who hates everything about you and has nothing nice to say about you!
  • The truth lies somewhere in the middle!

I have delayed writing this but those of you I call friends and supporters, who have prayed for me and this ministry need to know about this new battle that lies ahead. One week ago I was diagnosed with Myeloma Cancer. It is incurable and I’ve been given a 3-4 year window of time. Tomorrow I go in for my first bone biopsy and the process will start. I used to go to movies in the afternoon, now I go see doctors. I write these things for a few reasons. First, I want to put an end to all the rumors. Second, I ask for your prayers. And 3rd, I want you all to know that I will continue to minister and win souls until I can’t do it any longer. My life has always been about ministry. I have a call of God to touch lives with the gospel of Jesus Christ and that’s what I will do until the Lord calls me home. Please, do not allow this facebook site to be an ongoing blog for cancer treatment remedy’s. That would be depressing to everyone. If you have any insight you can message me personally. But I want to encourage you, if you can, to please come see me the next time I’m in your area. Bring someone who doesn’t know the Lord or who needs to be healed. I will always pray for the sick and I’m also going to step up the intensity of my message at these events. I will not leave this world quietly and I want the devil to know that he put cancer on absolutely the wrong Italian. I have a few good years and before it’s too late I want to see your faces, shake your hands and hug your necks. But mostly I want to see one of you get healed of what threatens your future and I really want to see someone you love come to Christ. Now lets get back to business, we have to work while its day for soon the night comes. I love you all -C

The Wrestling Match By http://www.girlfriendsingod.com

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. – (Ephesians 6:10-12, NIV)

It was the end of the school year.  The sun was blazing in the sweltering high 80s with not a hint of shade to be found on the treeless playground.  The boys were stinky from their sweaty schoolyard endeavors and the girls were now wilted versions of the fresh flowers they had been that morning.  It was almost time for the big wrestling competition.  Electric excitement lingered in the air.  I was a fifth grader at West Hempfield Elementary School in Irwin, Pennsylvania and I had signed up to participate in the wrestling match.

To this day, I’m somewhat amused and perplexed that I would’ve thrown myself into the middle of such a barbaric display.  Wrestling certainly wasn’t my sport of choice, or even a faint interest of mine.  So, as we all gathered around the red and white striped gymnasium mats for the annual, end-of-the year wrestling tournament, I was sweating bullets…not just from the relentless, yellow ball of heat in the sky, but also from the nerves that consumed my body.

Before the match even began, I was a captive to the bully in my brain.  What do you think you are doing?  This is ridiculous!  Caroline is not only three inches taller than you, but she’s meaner than you, and she’s in the sixth grade!  You are going down, Gwen.  Prepare to be humiliated in front of every fourth, fifth and sixth grader in the school.

At the sound of the whistle, the match was on. Caroline and I danced around like two alley cats with their backs raised high. She had a confidence in her eye that was foreign to me at that moment. A series of unskilled and ungraceful moves followed. (Cringe with me here!) She lunged and I retreated. I lunged and she retreated. Then came contact.  Within seconds we were on our hands and knees battling for control. Battling for the win.

The sounds of the crowd were deafening as Caroline moved in to get the better of me. All I could think was, Just DON’T let her get you on your back! Feelings of hopelessness and desperation flooded my heart as she and I exchanged move for move. There were several points allotted and several restarts from Mr. Gordon’s whistle.  In the midst of this primitive battle, my goal had changed from trying to win to just trying NOT to be pinned…therein lies the defeat.

As the match came to an end and the final whistle blew, it was Caroline’s victorious arm that was raised high in the sky.  I was defeated in front of half the school.  Cheers went up for Caroline as I shrunk back into the sea of students, longing for super powers that would render me invisible.  I was exhausted from the match, humiliated from my failure, and defeated by both Caroline and my own mind.

That was a dark day for me as a young girl.  But as dark as that day was emotionally, I was able to clearly see my opponent.  Ladies, when it comes to spiritual wrestling matches, we do not have the advantage of sight.  The Bible says: “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”  (Ephesians 6:12, NIV)

Many of the battles we contend with each day are spiritual.  We can’t see our enemy.  And while at first glance this may seem disarming, look again at Ephesians 6.  The Bible clearly tells us that we can be equipped to stand firm with the Armor of God!

“Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.” (Ephesians 6:13-18, NIV)

Though the wrestling match with Caroline seemed overwhelmingly daunting, the battles that I face now are so much greater.  I’m thankful that God’s word clearly says the victory is ours if we are in Christ. If God is for us, who can be against us?

What are you wrestling with today?  Is the enemy speaking lies to you?  Do you feel weak?  Strength comes when we call on Jesus!  We can stand firm against the schemes of the devil when we put on the armor of God!   Suit up girls…a battle is going on all around you.   Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power!

Let’s Pray

Dear Lord, I thank You for being a Mighty God Who longs to cover my weakness with Your strength.  Please equip me for all that lies ahead today, protect me from attacks and schemes of the enemy, and help me to be strong in Your mighty power.  Cover me with Your peace, truth, faith, and salvation so I can stand firm in the battle.

I ask this in the powerful name of Jesus, amen.

God Disciplines You Lovingly

“My child, don’t ignore it when the Lord disciplines you, and don’t be discouraged when He corrects you. For the Lord corrects those He loves, just as a father corrects a child in whom he delights.”

(Proverbs 3:11-12)

Just like earthly children, God’s children must experience discipline. Discipline is necessary to mature and grow in character. God lovingly disciplines us so we will become more mature in our walk with Him.

God’s discipline is for our good. Parents who care about their children discipline them. Proverbs 13:24 states, “If you refuse to discipline your children, it proves you don’t love them; if you love your children, you will be prompt to discipline them.”

I fell in love with our two sons the first time I saw them. I love them even more today as adults. When they were young, I spanked them when they were disobedient. I am sure that I shed more tears while I was spanking them than they did. Each time I would explain that I disciplined them because I loved them.

Character is vitally important to God. So He tenderly pulls the weeds, cuts off the dead flowers, and prunes the branches in the garden of our blossoming character. Yes, the process can be painful, but the result will be a character that is wise, mature, content, and pleasing to God. This loving, painstaking process demonstrates the difference between God’s discipline and Satan‘s accusations. Satan accuses us so we will give up, but God corrects us so we will grow up.

Our Father is the Ruler of the universe! How thankful we should be for the wonderful privilege of being His children. As His offspring, we can enjoy His love, care, and commitment as we pursue intimacy with Him by faith.

Your View of God Really Matters…

Think of times when God has disciplined you. Consider how you grew spiritually through the process. Thank the Lord for His discipline.

Because God is love,

He is unconditionally committed to my well-being.

BORN INTO GOD’S GREATNESS By Pastor Chris Oyakhilome. Christ Embassy International

And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing (Genesis 12:2).

From the scripture above, we notice that it was God who spoke to Abraham and said, “I will make you great”; it wasn’t Abraham who cried out, “O Lord, make me great!” It was God’s choice to make him great, and from that point on, the man did great things. He defeated five kings and their armies with three hundred servants trained in his house (Genesis 14). His wealth and influence outweighed those of the nations where he dwelt. He was a force to be reckoned with by kings of nations around him because of how great he was. The Bible says, “…if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise” (Galatians 3:29). If you’re born again, you’re the seed of Abraham; the seed of greatness is in your spirit. Therefore, you ought to do great things. Great people do great things. When the seed of greatness is in a man, he’ll undoubtedly do great things that will be spoken of for generations after Him. Never think small or see yourself as small. You’re the offspring of the great God of glory; His seed of greatness is in you. It’s your set time to do great things. Every day, tell yourself, “I’m doing great things, for the Spirit of God lives in me! I refuse to think small or do small things. I’m born for greatness!” Remember, you were born into greatness! Your family history is replete with stories and feats of greatness. I’m not talking about your earthly family, but the family of God to which you belong. This is your time to do great things in the Kingdom of God. It’s your set time to do exploits in your job, business, academics and other areas of your life.

Caution! Holy Spirit falls only on every sensitive and

seeking heart

Ephesians 4:31,32Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and

clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all

malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving

one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you”

We need to become more sensitive when it comes to criticizing our

Nation, Pastors, Leaders and even Fellow Believers. It has driven

the anointing of the Holy Spirit from many lives and churches.

The power of the Holy Spirit falls only on every sensitive and

seeking heart.

God wants you to be solely devoted to Him so that He can bless you with His very best

God wants you to be solely devoted to Him so that He can bless you with His very best

Dear Friend,

God calls us to a total commitment – nothing less will do. He called Abraham to complete devotion, and the same was true for Moses, David, all of the disciples, and the apostle Paul. We can’t be halfhearted in our love for the Lord and expect to fully experience His joy and peace in our lives. In fact, until we make a full, uncompromising commitment to Him, there will always be distracting factors at work in our lives. We’ll constantly be tempted to step away from His very best for us.

In order to be His disciple, you must be willing to deny – not only yourself and your personal desires and passions-but also your love for anyone or anything that could possibly take His place in your heart. Nothing can be more important than Him.

For many people, this concept is hard to accept. They want to say, “Lord, surely You don’t want me to give up my only dream for the future?” Or, “Lord, I really want to marry this person. I love her. I know she’s not a believer, but I need her. Besides, if I walked away, who would help her know You? Isn’t my love for her a testimony about Your love for us?”

To make her point clear, a Christian counselor climbed up on a chair and asked her client to pull her down. The object lesson? It is easy to pull someone down but next to impossible to pull another up – especially if that person resists the truth. God wants you to be solely devoted to Him so that He can bless you with His very best.

The Enemy of your soul, however, wants you to settle for much less. In fact, his goal is for you to step out of God’s will through disobedience. He knows if you do, you will not only miss a blessing, but your life will become shrouded with feelings of guilt and disappointment. When that happens you become ineffective as a witness for Christ. God has a great plan in mind for you. When you dedicate yourself fully to Him, you will see it unfold.

True worship always gives God the nearest, dearest, and most treasured thing in our lives.
