You are a good candidate for a miracle

God is working on your behalf, trust Him

2 Peter 3:9

Has there ever been a time when you felt so bound by your circumstances that you thought you would never be released? Without a doubt, Peter’s situation, from a human standpoint, seemed impossible. However, from God’s perspective nothing was further from the truth. It was an opportunity for Him to display His awesome power through Peter’s life.

While the church was praying for his release, Peter was resting. In fact, he was asleep! Most of us would have been awake, anxiously watching the door and wondering what was going to happen next. But not Peter. He was in the centre of God’s loving will. Life is not void of trouble and heartache. Sometimes His plan for us includes difficulty.

When trouble strikes and you feel as though your world is falling apart, do you have this same type of faith? Many of us don’t. We may start out thinking, “Now Lord, You know my needs. Please help me.” However, when time drags on and the door to freedom remains closed, we begin to wonder what has happened to God. Has He left the scene? The answer is no. He is right where He always is – beside you, with you, and living His life out through you.

Peter was not worried about tomorrow because his eyes were set on Christ. Being handcuffed to him was probably similar to being chained to the apostle Paul. We can imagine that at every opportunity, those who were guarding him had the opportunity to hear about the unconditional love of Jesus Christ.

“The Lord is not slow about fulfilling His promises” (2 Peter 3:9). What may seem like forever to you is not even a moment to God who is infinite and eternal. Peter’s amazing release came at just the right time – the middle of the night. When life appears the darkest, the light of God’s hope will find you. Your Saviour is working on your behalf, and He will answer your prayer.

If Satan has hemmed you in on all sides, if he has handcuffed you and you see no way out, then you are a good candidate for a miracle!

May God Almighty prosper Nigeria and Israel and defend us from all their enemies in Jesus Christ Name, Amen!

Eternity

Eternity! It is better to   go to a house of mourning than to go to a house of feasting, because that is   the end of every man, and the living takes it to heart (Ecclesiastes 7:2)

Eternity is a long period of time! It’s hard to grasp   that eternity is never-ending. But let me give you a little illustration to   help you understand. Imagine that we could empty the largest body of water in   the world, the Pacific Ocean, and fill it up with sand as tall as the highest   mountain in the world, Mount Everest. Now imagine that a bird flies by and   takes one grain of sand off that sand pile once every 100 billion years. How   long will it take for that sand pile to disappear? We can consider that   amount of time to be equal to one second in eternity.

We weren’t just created for sixty or eighty years of life on earth. We   were created for eternity. Every baby born on earth is headed toward its   dying day; that’s just reality. But we were made for more than that. We are   meant to experience eternity in the fullness of life with the Father. Death   is simply the doorway we must pass through to transform into the realm of the   eternal.

Paul understood this and said: “We also have as our ambition,   whether at home or absent, to be pleasing to Him. For we must all appear   before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for   his deeds in the body” (2 Corinthians 5:9-10). Paul said that because he   was a creature of eternity, he would live his earthly life for God. He would   live in time in a way that pleased God.

If you’re living in time and for time, you’re wasting time.

Live for eternity.
May God Almighty prosper Nigeria and Israel and defend us   from all their enemies in Jesus Christ Name, Amen!

Investing in People

Investing in People

The day of the Lord will come like a thief . . . and the   earth and its works will be burned up. Since all these things are to be   destroyed in this way, what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct   and godliness (2 Peter3:10-12).In our economy today it is very important to start saving   for retirement early. Those who are present-day oriented will just spend   money, but those who are future-oriented will invest. That’s the difference   between immaturity and maturity: the immature spend, and the mature save for   tomorrow.Jesus’ parable in Luke 16 demonstrates that the sons of   darkness are often wiser than the children of light because they are   future-oriented. If men are willing to do that in finite time, how much more   should Christians “make friends for yourselves . . . [who] will receive   you into the eternal dwellings” (v. 9)? God tells us to wisely use our   stewardship in something that has eternal value: people.

When we stand before Christ, He is going to play a cosmic   video, reviewing our life from salvation to death. We will see how   responsibly we used the time, talents, and treasures God gave us, and how   good or bad our stewardship was for Him. We will see the impact we had on   other people and how much we invested in others for eternity.

In verse 9, Jesus told us to make friends. How do we do   this? We make friends by sharing the Gospel so that those we know have an   opportunity to hear it. We must see that people are important in God’s   economy. God measures our effect on people not by how many dollars we have in   the bank, but by how we have used our time, talents, and treasures to invest   in the eternal destiny of people.

Either God will reign over your time, talents, and   treasures, or you will make them your god.

May God Almighty prosper Nigeria   and Israel and defend them from all their enemies in Jesus Christ Name, Amen!

The hope of surrender

Stained glass at St John the Baptist's Anglica...

The hope of   surrender

Luke writes, “Jesus kept increasing in wisdom and stature, and in   favor with God and men.” (Luke 2:52) We know very little about the years   that Jesus spent growing into manhood. However, we can surmise that He grew   emotionally, mentally, and physically. Like us, God’s Son had to develop, and   we can imagine that while He was sinless, He learned how to live through the   circumstances of life.

There are many people today who are suffering – not because they have   sinned or resisted God, but because the Lord has chosen to develop their   lives through difficulty and hardship. In the first chapter of 2 Corinthians,   Paul does not gloss over the fact that he suffered. At one point, he believed   there was a strong possibility that he would die. However, God spared his life,   and Paul was able to write about the hardships he faced with such hope that   many who read his letters also declared faith in Jesus Christ.

God cannot mold and shape our lives unless we are willing to surrender   and to be transparent before Him. These are prerequisites to experiencing a   breakthrough in our trials and sufferings. We have no idea of the   difficulties that Christ faced as a young man – the Gospels do not record   them. Yet, we know that as an adult, He suffered and died on the cross for   our sins so that we might have eternal life. He was not ashamed of the   calling that God had given Him. Now, all glory is His, and He is seated at   the right hand of the Father interceding in prayer for us each day.

Stop looking at the trials of your life with thoughts of regret and   horror. Learn to rest in God’s care, and allow Him to work in your life to   the fullest. When you do, you will discover that He has a tremendous blessing   waiting for you. Not only will you grow to be like Him, you will be a   testimony of His grace and hope to a troubled world.

May God Almighty prosper Nigeria and Israel and defend them from all their enemies in Jesus Christ Name, Amen!

The Peace of God, which surpasses all understanding

Peace in crisis

Ted, one of the elders in our church, used to be a police officer. One day after responding to a report of violence, he said the situation turned life-threatening. A man had stabbed someone and then menacingly turned the blade towards Ted. A fellow officer had taken position and fired his weapon at the assailant as he attacked Ted. The criminal was subdued, but Ted was shot in the crossfire. As he was driven by ambulance to the hospital, he felt deep waves of peace flowing over his soul from the Holy Spirit. Ted felt so tranquil that he was able to offer words of comfort to the law enforcement officer who was emotionally distraught over the crisis.

The Lord Jesus Christ promised us peace in crisis. Just hours before His own crucifixion, Christ comforted His disciples with these words: “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid” (John 14:27).

What is your worst fear? If you should have to face it, Christ will be there with you. Trusting Him through prayer makes available “The Peace of God, which surpasses all understanding,” and it “will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus”

The secret of peace is to give every anxious care to God in prayers!

Salvation is for all men

Salvation is for all men

That if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, thou shall be saved (Romans 10:9)

Some people believe salvation is only for certain people; that God already numbered those that’ll be saved, and those reserved for eternal damnation; but that’s not truth. You might then ask, “So what did Jesus mean when He said, “No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him…” (John 6:44). Doesn’t that mean the Father appoints some people to salvation, and separates some others unto destruction? No! Salvation is for all men. God’s desire is for ALL men to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.

In John 3:16, the Bible didn’t say, “For God so loved some men…” ; rather it says “For God so loved the world…..” ; the world of men, ALL men, including women, boys and girls. The Father’s love is for the whole world; the world of sinners. So when Jesus said “No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him….” (John 6:44), the right question to ask is, “Now does God draw men unto Himself?”

The answer is in the 45th verse of the same John 6 that says, “It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me” God draws men to Himself through His Word; through His message as encapsulated in the Gospel. When the Gospel is preached, those who hear, believe it, and endorse it by confessing the Lordship of Jesus Christ over their lives are drawn. So, the choice as to who receive salvation rests with every individual.

In Paul’s letter to Timothy, he said “…..God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth” (1 Timothy 2:3-4). This is the very reason we herald the message of the Gospel. As you plan your vacation and visitation this Christmas time, have the Gospel in mind. Make it a memorable Christmas for those around you who are yet to receive salvation, letting them know it’s God’s desire for them to receive the best gift of all, this Christmas – Eternal Life!

The Bible says “How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?” (Romans 10:14). You’re that preacher to those in your world; to bring them the glorious news of Christ’s salvation.

Prayer

Thank You Dear Heavenly Father for the immense love You clearly demonstrated in sending Jesus to be the propitiation for my sins, thus making me a participator in the divine experience. I’m most grateful for this glorious privilege, in Jesus Christ’s Name! Amen!

When God gives us a burden He gives us the grace to bear it: The sufficiency of God’s grace

2 Corinthians 12:9 says “My grace is sufficient for thee; for My strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”

Francis Xavier left wealth and position and set out across the world with the message of redemption through Christ Jesus.

It took energy and will-power for him to labour twenty-one hours out of twenty – four to learn to preach in twenty different languages in ten short years, to beg for passage on a troop ship, and later sail with pirates in unsafe vessels.

It took zeal and passion to sleep in tents with the Bedouins, cross the burning deserts and the snowy ranges of Asia.

It took commitment for Xavier to dare death in every form, shake hands with every ailment and diseases; endure the pangs of hunger and horrors of theft after a decimating shipwreck and bitter persecution. But he made a great impact in Japan.

Commitment is not a question of saying, Lord I will do it, but of doing it.

When David Livingstone was looking for people to come to Africa, he said, “If you have people who will come (to Africa) if they knew there were good roads, I don’t want them, I want men and women who are willing to come if there were no roads at all.”

Christ’s disciples stayed committed to him, we should do the same

When God gives us a burden He gives us the grace to bear it!

Invading the devil’s territory

INVADING THE DEVIL’S TERRITORY

Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your Name.” and He said to them, “I saw satan fall like lightning from heaven. Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.” (Luke 10:17-20)

Throughout His ministry on earth, Jesus encountered many people who were under demonic oppression and He had to come to their rescue by casting out the demons, healing the sick and teaching them the truth of the Gospel.

The devil was however enraged about this and he generated a lot of oppositions against Jesus. John 10:31; 39.

The apostles also had similar experiences in their missionary journeys. On a particular occasion, the devil stirred up a riot in the ancient city of Ephesus as result of the preaching of Apostle Paul against the practice of idolatry by the Ephesians and Paul’s companions were seized; Acts 19:29.

Evangelism is an area of ministry where believers must be prepared to do battle with the devil. This is because the devil is never happy when people who are within his territory are delivered and converted to Christ. He will not let go easily but will always fight back to retain control over the lives of such people.

If we must fulfil The Great Commission then we must be ready to confront the devil in battle. However, it is comforting to know that we are fighting from a position of Strength because Jesus has won the battle for us over two thousand years ago!

Our battle is not for victory but from victory in Jesus Christ Name! Amen!

This thing called dating

THIS THING CALLED DATING

By Tomide (A Guest Writer)

“Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit Who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s” (1 Corinthians 6:18-20)

What is dating? I’m sure that’s a pretty easy question for us to answer. Although the dictionary gives us a somewhat different meaning, when we say two people are dating, we simply mean that they are romantically involved with each other and are possibly having a physical relationship with each other. Now, we Christians substitute the word “dating” with “courting”, but what we don’t know is that if we do not get our principles right, if we do not apply the “rules” of relationship that God has set down for us in His Word, then the two words are only different in the ways they are spelt and pronounced, nothing else.

One reason why we date is because we want to enjoy the emotional and physical benefits of intimacy without the responsibility of real commitment. I read a book once and one thing the author said really stuck. He said “Dating makes you want what you can’t (shouldn’t) have.” It doesn’t just make us want to have sex, it makes us want to kiss, touch and be touched sensually and invoke feelings that are better left concealed while we are still unmarried.

This is a call for us to be different. It is a call for us to take a daring attitude towards the dating game. It is a call for us to totally serve and honour God with our bodies and purified minds while we are single. It is a call to let go of ‘unfruitful’ relationships and allow God bring our partners our way at the right time. It is a call for us to say “game over”.

For a very long time, I had an aversion towards “Relationships”. I couldn’t explain why but I just didn’t want to be involved in the whole dating game. While some of my age mates (and even people younger than me) were already boasting of numerous boyfriends, I could only boast of none – zero! I got called different names from “weird” to “lesbian” (by the way, I’m perfectly straight) all because I refused to join the game. So yes, we will be called names, we might feel odd in the midst of people with different opinions but let’s choose to stand for Christ and serve Him with all our might while we are single and not distracted.

It’s time for us to stand up and be the “Holy Nation” that God has called us to be!

May Our God The Almighty prosper Nigeria and Israel and defend us from all our enemies in Jesus Christ Name, Amen!

BE CONSCIOUS
OF WHO YOU ARE IN CHRIST JESUS

Jesus said unto him, have I been so
long time with you, and yet have thou not known me, Philip? He that has seen me
has seen the Father….. (John 14:9)

When Jesus
walked the earth, He had the consciousness of a king that distinguished Him
from the crowd. He had no consciousness of lack and He always confidently spoke
words that amazed the religious people of His day.

One day, He
said “the words that I speak unto you,
they are spirit, and they are life.”
Jesus knew His Words weren’t empty; He
was conscious of His divinity and boldly declared it. In John 6:38 He said “for I came down from Heaven, not to do mine
own will, but the will of him that sent me.”
What boldness and audacity! Everyone knew Him
as the son of Joseph the carpenter, yet He declared He came down from heaven.
Only a man who knew who He really was could speak this way. No wonder He had
absolute mastery over the circumstances of this world.

Again, in John 8:12, He said, “I am the light of the world: he that follows
me shall not work in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”
Can you beat that? He didn’t come talking
about the light, but says, I am the light of the world.” No wonder the soldiers
that were sent to arrest Him one time, after hearing Him speak, concluded “No
man ever spoke like this man.” (John 7:46)

But did you
know Jesus also spoke about you and said “You are the light of the world?”
(Matthew 5:14). Therefore everywhere you go, you ought also to declare with
gusto, ‘I am the light of the world!” be conscious of who you are in Christ
Jesus, be bold to call yourself what God has called you.

Jesus gave
us an example to follow of how to live victoriously on the earth. His
consciousness of who He was controlled everything He said and did. You also can
live as successfully as He did by following this principle. But first you need
to have the Holy Spirit, for He’s the one who brings boldness into your spirit
by making the consciousness of who you are in Christ Jesus real to you.

CONFESSION

I have in me
the consciousness of a victor. I know who I am and I walk in the consciousness
of this reality. I’m the light of the world and the salt of the earth. I walk
in prosperity, peace, and divine health. Nothing can stop my progress for I
have in me the yeast of greatness! Greater is He that is in me than he that is
in the World! Amen!

PUT ON THE
WHOLE ARMOUR OF GOD

Put on the
whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the
devil (Ephesians 6:11).

In our fight
of faith, the Bible says that “we
wrestles not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against
powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual
wickedness in high places”
(Ephesians 6:12). That’s why we then enjoined to
put on the whole armour of God. Now, did you notice the Scripture doesn’t say, “Pray that God would put the armour on you”
it says you’re the one to put it on. So, it’s no use praying and crying to God
to protect you from the wiles of the devil; He has told you what to do: put on
the armour of God.

Also, the
scripture emphasises that you should put on the whole armour of God, not just
some of it. Another version says, “Put on
the complete armour of God….
” (WNT). I like the word “Complete”. You’ve got
to make sure that you don’t leave any part of that armour out. So, it’s up to
you to have your loins covered with truth, righteousness as your breastplate,
have on your feet the gospel of peace, have the helmet of salvation on, and
then above all the others, put on the shield of faith. Note: the shield of
faith is given to you to extinguish all the fiery darts of the enemy.

The armour
of God is available to you today, but you have to make a conscious choice to
put it on. God isn’t going to put it on for you, no matter how much you pray
and fast for Him to. Stand firmly with your whole armour on as a good solder of
Christ. And remember, as you put it on, make sure you keep it on at all times;
don’t ever take it off!

CONFESSION

I take unto
myself the whole armour of God and stand firm as a good soldier of the Lord
Jesus Christ. I have truth as my belt, righteousness as my breastplate, the
gospel of peace on my feet, the helmet of salvation, and faith as my shield. I
am fully equipped to extinguish all the fiery darts of the devil and render all
his stratagems futile and empty. My armour is ever on and I endure hardness as
a soldier of Christ, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Amen!

WE ARE
COMPLETE IN CHRIST JESUS

And ye are
complete in Him, which is the head of all principality and power (Colossians
2:10).

We’re living
in the last days, the days of intense pressures and challenges. However, it’s
important you realize that God has given His children divine ability to quell
every machination of the adversary. You’re complete in Christ and superior to
satan. The more you study the Bible, the more you’ll discover that you’re
thoroughly furnished to handle any situation, for you are God’s house (1
Corinthians 3:16), His Living Tabernacle.

Some houses
which are constructed today are customized and well – furnished with the latest
high – tech equipment. Most of their facilities and accessories are fully
automated and activated at the push of buttons. Even if there’s a problem, you
can easily troubleshoot and fix things by simply pushing some other buttons.

You are
God’s customized building; specially designed by Him. Also He has given you
what I call “The push-button life”. This
means that you don’t have to struggle for anything; you’re complete and thoroughly
furnished to advance the course of the kingdom of God.

Everything
you require to live in victory the rest of your life is inside you already.
When there’s a problem, you know what button to press: you can pray in the
Spirit and speak in other tongues, issue commands in the Name of Jesus or sow
seeds to frustrate the plans of the adversary. You’re full of resources to
cause a change in any situation; you’re never out of ideas on what to do. This
is why the Child of God cannot be disadvantaged regardless of the situation.

When problems
come, you can be still, for God has raised a standard against the adversary in
your life (Isaiah 59:19). Christ is in you; hence, you can press the necessary
buttons in you to frustrate his plans. You shouldn’t, therefore, settle for
anything less.

PRAYER

Dear
Heavenly Father, I thank You for giving me the victorious life and the
supernatural ability to cause changes in any situation. You have fashioned me
for greatness and furnished me unto good works. Therefore, I ask that you open
my eyes and enlighten my heart in your Word, so that I may comprehend fully
every gift and ability in me, and teach me also to use the same to the glory of

WE ARE KINGS
AND PRIESTS

And has made us unto our God Kings
and Priests: and we shall reign on the earth (Revelation 5:10)

Jesus said
in Matthew 18:18 “Whatsoever ye shall
bind on earth shall bind in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth
shall be loosed in heaven.”
Here, Jesus didn’t mean that as you bind something
on earth, God does the same thing in heaven. No. He meant that when you bind
something on earth, you’re making a decree, and that decree is upheld by God in
heaven.

God has made
us kings, (Revelation 5:10), and the Bible says in Ecclesiastes 8:4, “Where the Word of a king is, there is
power.”
As God’s Words carry and transmit power, your words also have in
them creative ability to produce for you a harvest of what you say. Sadly, not
many Christians have operated in this power; some have only been used to
religious Christianity, where they beg God for everything.

You’re a
King, and kings don’t beg; they make decrees. Job 22:28 says, “Thou shall also decree a thing, and it
shall be established unto thee…..”

The reason you can make decree or issue commands and have them
established unto you is because you’re acting on the Word; you’re taking your
place as God’s King-Priests, ordained to reign in the earth.

Quit crying
or begging God to do something about your situation; decree the Word of God
concerning that matter and effect a change. Take advantage of your office
today; live as the King that you are, issue decrees and see them come to pass.

CONFESSION

I declare
right now by the power of God’s Spirit that I’m reigning in life-in my health,
finances, job, and in every area of my life. The glory of God is manifested in
me and I walk in the victory and dominion of Christ today. I manifest success,
glory and excellence, by the power of The Holy Spirit. Amen!

There is hope for you

the Gospel of MatthewTHERE IS
HOPE FOR YOU

Now the God of hope fill you with all
joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of
the Holy Ghost (Romans 15:13)

Hope is the
positive expectation of a desired end. It’s a virtue that gives you strength and
a purpose. Only Jesus Christ can give you extraordinary hope. When you have
that kind of hope, you’ll be propelled to look forward to tomorrow with
excitement, because hope is for the future. It’s to expect with confidence; to
cherish a desire with anticipation of a positive outcome.

We find an
example of this from the story of the woman who had an issue of blood for
twelve years. She had spent all her earnings on medical bills, but instead of
getting better, she only got worse. She heard about Jesus, and on a certain
day, came up behind Him in the crowd and touched His clothes, “For she said within herself, if I may but
touch his garment, I shall be whole”
(Matthew 9:21).

As soon as
she touched the hem of Jesus’ garment her bleeding ceased, and she immediately
knew she was healed. She didn’t need anybody to confirm her healing; she just
accepted it and that was it.

Though the
woman had become desperate, having found herself in a hopeless situation for
twelve long years, hope came to her when she heard that the Master was healing people.
Her hope translated to faith when she told herself “I’m going to touch His
clothes and be healed!” never think the situation you might be facing is too
hopeless, for no problem is insurmountable.

There’s hope
for you in Christ Jesus! It makes no difference the medical conditions you’ve
been diagnosed with or the state of your finances; cheer up, there’s hope for
you. The Bible says Christ in you, the
Hope of Glory
(Colossians 1:27). Look forward to tomorrow with excitement,
keep your hope alive. Nurture it to the point it can’t be denied. You too can
be healed! You can achieve that desire in your heart. It’s not over for you
yet, see the ray of light in the horizon, for there’s a miracle for you right
now in that situation for which you require a change. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

Thank be unto God Who has given me
freely all joy and peace in believing, that I may abound in hope through the
power of the Holy Ghost! My life is from glory to glory because Christ in me my
assurance for the upward and forward life, in Jesus Name! Amen!

For God’s Glory

WE ARE
CREATED FOR GOD’S GLORY

Even every one that is called by my
name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made
him (Isaiah 43:7)

The reason
many people still find themselves in regrettable circumstances is that they
haven’t come in terms with their identity in Christ Jesus. You must realize
that God made you, not so you’ll be defeated or fail in life, He created you
for glory and for beauty – you’re His Best! The Bible says “Of His own will begat He us with the word of truth, that we should be
a kind of first – fruits of His creatures”
(James 1:18). To be the first
fruit of His creatures means you’re the first and the best!

You’re the
best of you that there is. No wonder God loves to brag and show off with you! You’re
His peculiar treasure: “But ye are a
chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that
ye should shew forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness
into His marvellous light”
(1 Peter 2:9). Therefore, take pleasure in your
uniqueness; delight in your peculiarity, for no one else in the world can do
the things you do. No one can take your place; you must bless the world with
the investment of your personality.

You’re not
struggling to be the best, you’re the best! In Matthew 4:19, Jesus met two
fishermen (Peter and Andrew) and said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Now, the exciting
thing about those words of Jesus Christ is the fact that He (Christ) was the
One “making” them, and not they “trying” to become. God has made you who you
are – a bundle of success; an achiever, and a victor in Christ Jesus, and no
one can unmake what God has made! He lives in you to ensure you become that
dream that you have in your spirit.

Let this
mind be in you today, not only do you deserve the best, you’re the best! God gave
His Son Jesus Christ – His best to die in your place, that shows your true
value. You only give the best to get the best. Wake up! Rise! Shake yourself
out of the dust, and be the person God has ordained you to be, for He has made
you for glory, and for beauty – you’re the best!

PRAYER

Dear Heavenly Father! Thank You for
choosing me out of the world for Your glory. Thank You for the divine ability
You’ve given me to be a success and a victor in life. I declare that my life is
for Your praise, glory and beauty, as I take the necessary steps today to bring
forth durable fruits unto Your Holy Name!
Amen!

Husbands loves your wives

HUSBANDS,
LOVE YOUR WIVES

Husbands,
love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave Himself for it
(Ephesians 5:25).

Marriage was
designed by God as a beautiful relationship between husbands and wives. For the
husband, the Bible says he should love his wife “as Christ also loved the Church, and gave Himself for it.” Now,
you know that Christ proved His love for us by the supreme sacrifice of His
life on the cross of Calvary. This gives an indication as to the way and manner
husbands should love their wives: with self-giving and sacrificial love.

That means
the husband ought to be willing to put his wife first, he should protect her,
shield her and be willing to make sacrifices for her. God didn’t make the
husband a taskmaster to his wife, one to be bossing her around and lording over
her. Some husbands love to show their wives who’s boss; if you’re a husband,
you don’t need that. You don’t have to batter or boss your wife into
submission; just love her as Christ loves the church. He loves us, in spite of
our shortcomings and our sins – that’s how husbands ought to love their wives.

The Bible
says,Married men, in the same way, live
with your wives with a clear recognition of the fact that they are weaker than
you. Yet, since you are heirs with them of God’s free gift of life, treat them
with honour; so that your prayers may not be hindered”
(1 Peter 3:7
WNT).  A husband who mistreats his wife
can have his prayers hindered. Things may keep going from bad to worse for him
and he may be crying to God for help, not realizing that his not walking in
love towards his wife is what’s responsible for his dilemma.

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank You for the
beautiful and inspiring thought I’ve received today. I realize now, more than
ever the importance of relating with others with Your love. Thank You for
imparting Your love lavishly to my heart, and making me the expression of that
love, in Jesus Christ Name! Amen!

I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ

Jesus is considered by scholars such as Weber ...

I AM NOT
ASHAMED OF THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST

I am not ashamed of the gospel of
Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth;
to the Jews first, and also to the Greek (Romans 1:16)

The word
“gospel” means “good news”. It’s not enough to be preaching a message about
God, if it’s not “good news” then it’s not gospel. Jesus told us to preach the
gospel, which is the good news about all He had done for mankind. Some people
get mad when they hear us preach good news to sinners; they would rather we
preach hell, sin, and condemnation. They believe that it’s not right to “water
down” the message! They want the person to whom they are preaching to realize
how terrible a sinner he is, but that’s really not necessary.

The Bible
says the goodness of God leads men to repentance (Romans 2:4), not the terror
of God. The gospel to the sinner is that eternal life is available to him from
God now and that he doesn’t have to continue to wallow in sin and guilt
anymore. The gospel to the sick person is that divine health is available to
him now, so he can walk out of sickness in Christ Jesus. The gospel to the poor
man is that prosperity is now available in Christ Jesus and that he has an
inheritance waiting for him. It’s not gospel to say that it’s okay to suffer on
earth so long as you die and make heaven.

So, the next
time you want to speak to someone about Jesus Christ, make sure you preach the
gospel: THE GOOD NEWS! Your message should gladden the heart of the hearer and
reveal God’s goodness, in spite of man’s sin and wickedness. That’s the message
that turns even the hardest heart unto God. That’s the message Apostle Paul
refers to as the power of God unto salvation (Romans 1:16).

CONFESSION

I am a minister of reconciliation, a
preacher of The Good News about Christ Jesus. My feet are shod today with this
Good News and my lips burst forth with it! As I share it, men and women are
turned from sin to righteousness, from sickness to health and from poverty to
prosperity, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Amen!

Walk in the steps of Father Abraham

Groom, Texas

WALK IN THE
STEPS OF FATHER ABRAHAM

And Melchizedek King of Salem brought
forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the Most High God. And he
blessed him, and said, “Blessed be Abrahm of the Most High God, possessor of
heaven and earth: and blessed be the Most High God, which hath delivered thine
enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all. (Genesis 14:18-20).

Abraham was
the first person recorded in the Bible to give tithes. He gave tithes to
Melchizedek over 430 years before the Law was given to the children of Israel,
proving that tithing existed before the Law.

The Bible
tells us Abraham is the father of faith, and that all those who are of faith
are children of Abraham, and we belong to Christ Jesus! “And if ye be Christ’s,
then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise” (Galatians
3:29).

Abraham
demonstrated his faith by giving tithes of all to Melchizedek, who was a
manifestation of Christ to him. The Bible admonishes us to walk in the steps of
the faith of father Abraham (Romans 4:12). When you give your tithes, you’re
walking in his steps of faith. You’re affirming yourself as a child of faith
and a seed of Abraham and you can expect the blessings of Abraham to be yours
also.

Instead of
giving your tithe just because you were commanded to do so, which is good,
start giving it with understanding and by revelation. Begin to act by faith in
giving your tithes. Rejoice and thank God every time you give it. Then you can
enjoy the full benefits of it.

PRAYER

Dear Heavenly Father! You have made
me a partaker of the Abrahamic blessings through Our Lord Jesus Christ. I
present my tithes to You as a token of my covenant relationship with You and
the connection to the Abrahamic blessings. Therefore, the devourer is rebuked
from my finances, every form of sickness is destroyed and failure is completely
removed from my life, in Jesus Christ Name! Amen!

Jesus can set you free

Know God, Be Strong

CHRIST JESUS
CAN SET YOU FREE

“Turn [me] back to You, O LORD, and
[I[ will be restored……” Lamentation 5:21 NKJV

Any habit
you cannot break, or that you refuse to break, is a habit that has the power to
break you. Are you dealing with appetites that are out of control? Do you
struggle with compulsion that bring moments of pleasure followed by days of
remorse? Do you go through periods of abstinence, only to be followed by
seasons of indulgence that leave you defeated and condemned? Christ can set you
free! The Bible says, “God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and
power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the
devil…..” (Acts 10:38 NKJV).

It’s not
what you go through in life that messes you up; it’s what you keep going back
to! Are you tired of saying, “I’m not going to look at it; I’m not going to
listen to it; I’m not going to do it,” only to go out and repeat your old
patterns over and over? Here’s a prayer for you to pray, a prayer God will
answer: “Turn me back to You, O LORD, and I will be restored, in Jesus Christ
Name I pray! Amen!”

Ask God to
turn your heart back to him, because the truth is, you can’t do it for
yourself! You say, “But my friends and family have given up on me.” God won’t!
The Psalmist wrote “Many are they who say of me, ………There is no help for him in
God……But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, my glory and the One Who lifts up my
head. I cried to the Lord with my voice, and He heard me” (Psalm 3:2-4 NKJV).
Jesus Christ can set you free, so turn to Him today!

Therefore if the Son makes you free,
you shall be free indeed!
(John 8:36). Hallelujah! Amen!

May Our God The Almighty prosper
Nigeria and Israel and defend us from all our enemies in Jesus Christ Name,
Amen!

When Is Jesus Coming Back

Jesus is considered by scholars such as Weber ...

WHEN IS JESUS COMING BACK

I wonder, when is our Saviour coming back?

Jesus promised His disciples and us that He would return to
earth some day. When will that be? “[Such things] are not for you to know”,
Jesus said.

And He said unto them, it is not for you to know the times
and the seasons, which the Father hath put in His own power (Acts 1:7).

Although God didn’t say exactly when Christ will return, He
told us to be ready.

The Bible says we should be on our guard: “Therefore let us
not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober” (1 Thessalonians 5:6).
This means living the way Jesus wants us to, using our time wisely, and telling
others about God’s Good News.

Rather than be concerned with when Jesus will return, we
should always live as though Jesus can return at any moment.

May Our God The Almighty prosper Nigeria
and Israel and defend us from all our enemies in Jesus Christ Name, Amen!
