Dear Father, I don’t like discipline. I didn’t like it as a kid and I don’t really like it as an adult. However, I do know that just as I disciplined my child because I love him, You discipline me because You love me. Help me to recognize Your discipline when it occurs, to receive it with a grateful heart, and change what needs to be changed, In Jesus Christ Name I pray, Amen!
