The Power Of Silence. Beloved Learn How To Keep Shut In Every Situation, Learn How Apply Wisdom. Not Everything You See You Talk About, Not Anytime You Want To Look For Who To Blame, You Are Only Given Them Authority Over You. Keep Your Mouth Shut.
GENESIS 3:12-13
12: The man said, “The woman you put here with me—she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it.”
13: Then the LORD God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”
Adam pretty much threw Eve under the bus, blaming her and also blaming God (“The woman YOU put here with me…”) for his own sin. Love does not do that.
The reason Adam blamed Eve for his eating the apple was to try to deflect responsibility for his actions off himself and onto the only other person there, hoping selfishly to avoid punishment.
Satan (the Adversary) appears on the scene in the form of a serpent at Genesis 3:1. We never see anything indicating that God told Eve directly, but it is inferred by Gen 3:2-3 that SOMEBODY told her. Now Satan twists God’s intent to protect His creation at Gen 3:4, by lying and saying they will not die if they eat the fruit. Of course, we know this was not true because it is implied that man was originally designed to live forever in the garden with Eve. Then Satan appeals to Eve’s desire to be like her Father in Gen 3:5-6. It should not be ignored that Adam was right there with her, according to 3:6b. Now, Adam could have stopped Eve from eating the fruit, but he didn’t, and instead ate the fruit with her, although he knew what God had said about the tree. Note that it wasn’t until Adam also ate the fruit that they became aware of their sin and began to cower and hide in the garden (Gen 3:7-10).
God gave Adam Dominion over everything he created ,and our focus today is to see how that Dominion left the possession of man to the woman which is she eventually gave to Satan.
Satan is very subtle and tricky he understands that God gave man Dominion and he is after man .
Anytime you blame someone or anything, you are transferring authority to them, mind you before now it is not written anywhere God spoke to Eve any day before they eat the fruit , God always spoke to Adam and not his wife but watch how Adam transferred that Dominion he had to The woman Eve and how Eve lost it completely to Satan
GENESIS 3:9
Adam was there with even when all these were taking place , he didn’t fall for Satan trick because he was deceived ,no he fell because of love ….
GENESIS 3:12 And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.
Adam blame the woman, that was where man lost his authority to the woman , because before now God haven’t spoken to the woman before since creation ,now Adam have lost his authority to her she now owns the authority let’s see how she also handles this authority ..
GENESIS 3:13 And the Lord God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.
The fist time God spoke to the woman after creation and she said , the serpent beguiled me , and I did eat , automatically she passes authority to Satan. If she have kept quite she would be held above man immediately.
GENESIS 3:14
And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
Satan became the god of this world by keeping silence, he didn’t complain or apportioned blame to anyone, out of the three of them the only one that didn’t talk was the one that later carried the authority which is Satan…
When Jesus was brought before Pontius Pilate the reason he didn’t say anything when he was accused was this same reason. Jesus came to this world to take that same Dominion from Satan because it was God original plan for sending his only son to this Earth to take back what Satan took from man which is that same Dominion that GENESIS 1:26 talks about, that was why Satan tried to scatter Jesus mission . Remember when he took Jesus to the top of a mountain and showed him the glory of the world.
Matthew 4:9
“All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.
That’s Satan tryin to scatter the mission of Jesus .
Matthew 27:11-12
11 Now Jesus stood before the governor. And the governor asked Him, saying, “Are You the King of the Jews?”
12 Jesus said to him, “It is as you say.”
And while He was being accused by the chief priests and elders, He answered nothing.
There is a dimension of Dominion that’s expressed in SILENCE ..
Remember the halort that was brought to Jesus, when they came to him and was complaining he didn’t say any word nor apportioned blame in his wisdom when he stood up he said he who have no sin be the first to cast the stone end of discussion matter settled they went away……John 8:1-11..
Where have we been losing Dominion ?. where have we be apportioning blame ?.
Bethern you are given Dominion when you do these things ….learn how to keep shut in Every situation ,learn how apply wisdom . Not everything you see you talk , not anytime you want to look for who to blame .you are only given them authority over you ….
