11. I command my image to become untouchable coal of fire, in the name of Jesus.

12. Any power, using my picture against me, be disgraced, in the name of Jesus.

13. I put myself in the envelope of the fire of the God of Elijah. I put myself in the envelope of the blood of Jesus. Every dark imagination against my existence, be nullified by the power in the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.

14. Every spirit of Goliath, threatening my existence by using my image, I bury your power, in the name of Jesus.

15. Any coven or occult gathering, using my image to trouble my life, catch fire and burn to ashes, in the name of Jesus.

16. O Lord, You are my glory and the lifter of my head, command divine lifting upon my head in the name of Jesus.

17. Any power beholding my image in any crystal ball, be blinded, in Jesus’ name.

18. Anything that belongs to me or representing me on any witchcraft altar, (my properties, my pictures, my clothes, my money, my name, any part of my body, finger nails or my hair, in the air, on the earth, underneath the earth or in the waters above or underneath, in river sand seas, at graveyards, road junctions, before idols, in the covens or temple of satan), be destroyed by the Holy Ghost fire, in the name of Jesus.

19. Every spiritual screen and radars, spiritual mirror, spiritual tape, spiritual camera, spiritual satellites and all spiritual properties that satan has set against me to monitor me, be broken into pieces, in the name of Jesus.

20. I am a child of God and a member of the family of Jesus. Whoever touches me touches the apple of God’s eye. No weapon formed against me shall by any means prosper in my life, and any tongue that shall rise against me in judgment is condemned and destroyed completely, in the name of Jesus.

21. I use this my picture, to prophesy upon my life, it shall be well with me. I will fulfil my destiny. I will not die uncelebrated. I will not die unfulfilled. The power of darkness will not defile my life. This I pray, in the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

How many times have you told yourself, “I’ll start next week… I’ll join the next week… I’ll do it when things calm down…”?

The truth is, procrastination has a way of sounding reasonable. It whispers, “You’re not ready yet… just wait a little longer.”

But here’s the painful reality: procrastination is a thief.

It has stolen people’s dreams, opportunities, relationships, and yes… their health too.

Every time you delay taking action, you give procrastination the chance to dig its claws deeper.

Contend For Their Souls: The Power of Intercessory Prayer

Contend For Their Souls

Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God (Colossians 4:12).

What do you do when you observe people in church who aren’t living right or who don’t come to church anymore? Rather than lament the situation or become judgemental of them, intercede in prayer for them until they are restored. Contend for their souls in prayer. Every soul is valuable to God, and the Bible says His desire is for all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.

Its part of the reasons pastors and leaders should be careful how they treat and handle those who come to church. Some can be harsh and don’t mind doing things that drive people out of the church. But when you’re a true soul winner, you’re different because you understand what it takes to win even one soul and will do everything it takes to keep them retained.

Many times, I’ve cried over a soul; I kept interceding until the person came to Christ or was restored back in the Faith. This is why we must pray ahead, at the right time, in the right way, and for the right things. When we do that, we win. Churches must prioritize time for intercessory prayer.

Epaphras, in our opening scripture, wasn’t praying for his own needs; he was praying for others. He was an intercessor. He was already walking in the glory of God, but he was praying for others to walk in it as well, to come into the fullness of God’s plan for their lives.

This is what you must do every day as well. Intercede for others, for the eyes of their understanding to be opened to the realities of God’s Kingdom and be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. Hallelujah!

PRAYER / CONFESSION

Dear Father, I pray for those who have strayed from the truth, that they’d be restored quickly, and that their affections will be on the things of the Spirit, never languid or dull, but fervent in spirit, serving you wholeheartedly, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Don’t Allow Discouragement

MEMORISE:

“And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God.” – (1 Samuel 30:6)

4 And the mixt multitude that was among them fell a lusting: and the children of Israel also wept again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat?

5 We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlick:

6 But now our soul is dried away: there is nothing at all, beside this manna, before our eyes.

16 And the LORD said unto Moses, Gather unto me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom thou knowest to be the elders of the people, and officers over them; and bring them unto the tabernacle of the congregation, that they may stand there with thee.

17 And I will come down and talk with thee there: and I will take of the spirit which is upon thee, and will put it upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with thee, that thou bear it not thyself alone.

MESSAGE:

In today’s Bible reading, the Israelites were murmuring and weeping, saying, “We want meat; we are tired of eating manna.” They had been murmuring consistently for 40 years, and Moses had been coping, but this time around, he told God, “I didn’t give birth to these people. Why are You asking me to carry their burden? Kill me because I’m tired of all this.” God replied, “Since you say the burden is too much, get me 70 men, and I’ll take of the spirit on you and put it on them.”

When you think about the fact that the anointing upon Moses was divided by 70, you’ll realise that the new Moses was less anointed than the previous one. Because of this, not long after that, in Numbers 20:7-12, the man God Himself described as the meekest man on the earth (Numbers 12:3) erupted in anger. The anointing that had allowed him to cope for 40 years had been depleted due to his words during a time of discouragement. Discouragement can make people say things that would limit them in life and negatively impact their destiny.

Elijah also allowed his words in a time of discouragement to put an abrupt end to his ministry. After calling down fire on Mount Carmel, Jezebel threatened him, and he fled. He became so discouraged as he ran away that he asked God to kill him. Thankfully, God didn’t fulfil his wish; instead, He sent an angel to feed him (1 Kings 19:1-8). Afterwards, however, He gave him his last assignment to anoint Jehu, Hazael, and Elisha, his replacement (1 Kings 19:15-16). His ministry ended when he allowed discouragement to make him say the wrong things. John the Baptist also got so discouraged that he began to doubt everything he had earlier declared. He had declared concerning Jesus, “Behold the lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world” (John 1:29). Yet, he was the same person who sent his disciples to ask Jesus, “Are you the One to come or should we look for another?” (Luke 7:19-20). Not long after that, he was beheaded (Luke 9:7-9).

Beloved, while you cannot stop discouraging circumstances from happening, you can choose how to respond to them. Like David, you can encourage yourself in the Lord, as seen in today’s memory verse. God is able to keep you from falling (Jude 1:24). He is also able to give you a mighty turnaround, but you must put your trust in Him. He is more than able to see you through any discouraging circumstances that may come your way.

KEY POINT:

Do not allow discouragement to make you say the wrong things.

The Necessity of Rest: Why You Must Always Refill

Exodus_33-14-2: And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.

MEMORIZE:

“And he said unto them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while: for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat.” – Mark 6:31

Read:

Luke 9:1-10

1. Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases.

2. He sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.

3. And He said to them, “Take nothing for the journey, neither staffs nor bag nor bread nor money; and do not have two tunics apiece.

4. Whatever house you enter, stay there, and from there depart.

5. And whoever will not receive you, when you go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet as a testimony against them.”

6. So they departed and went through the towns, preaching the gospel and healing everywhere.

7. Now Herod the tetrarch heard of all that was done by Him; and he was perplexed, because it was said by some that John had risen from the dead,

8. And by some that Elijah had appeared, and by others that one of the old prophets had risen again.

9. Herod said, “John I have beheaded, but who is this of whom I hear such things?” So he sought to see Him.

10. And the apostles, when they had returned, told Him all that they had done. Then He took them and went aside privately into a deserted place belonging to the city called Bethsaida.

MESSAGE:

Yesterday, I started a discussion about the importance of getting refilled with the anointing after moments of intense spiritual exercise. Another time you need to get a refill is when you are exhausted. In 1 Kings 19:5-8, when Elijah was tired, having been on the run from Jezebel, he told God to kill him. God said, “No, I don’t bury my wounded; I feed them. When they are weary, I refill them.” He gave him food to eat, and Elijah ate and fell asleep again. Interestingly, the man who said ‘kill me’ didn’t say ‘I’m not eating.’ God woke him the second time and gave him a second ration. Clearly, what he needed was rest and food to continue the journey.

After eating, Elijah went in the strength of that food for forty days and nights. When you refill, you have the capacity and strength to go farther in God.

In today’s Bible reading, after the disciples returned from the missionary journey that Jesus sent them on, they gave Him great news about all the things the anointing did. Then, Jesus took them aside to a private place so they could rest. When virtue leaves a fellow, it has an impact on the body; if that fellow does not rest, he or she may become too weak to do more. Jesus knew this, so after performing many miracles, He would retreat to solitary places to refill, as I mentioned yesterday. He could consistently do great works because He always took time out to refill. He said that His followers would do greater works than He did John 14:12, and this means they must also refill constantly as He did.

If you load a battery into a torch light and use it for one hour, you should allow it to rest for another hour so that it will last much longer, rather than using it continuously. Similarly, if you always take out time to rest appropriately, you will be able to do much more for God.

Beloved, do not think you are indispensable such that you keep using your spiritual battery even when you know that you are exhausted. You might discover the hard way, like Elijah, that there are others who can easily take your place 1 Kings 19:15-16. Find those people now and train them so that they can join you in doing some of the work. Don’t always wait until you are exhausted to get refilled, and if you are already exhausted, take a retreat now to get refilled.

Ensure that you rest regularly so you can always refill

1. The Lord of the Sabbath, thank You for giving me rest from sin, satan and the worries of life.

2. Father, I ask for the empowerment to fulfill the Kingdom mandate in Jesus Name.

3. Father, guide me to all those You have empowered me to minister to.

4. Father, open the door of the hearts of men unto me so that they can receive Your Words and life

5. Father, refill me in all ramifications after every spiritual exercise in Jesus Name

6. Father, give me the wisdom to take physical rest when necessary in Jesus Name

7. Father, open my eyes to those You have blessed me with who can assist me in the work You have ordained me to do in Jesus Name
