My Daily Proclamation

Psalm 118:17 (KJV): I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD
Psalm 118:17 (KJV): I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD

The Word of God is in my heart and in my mouth, even the word of truth which I’ve received. My words are potent, bringing forth victories, increase, promotion and abundance for me. My life is the testimony of God’s grace, glory and excellence. I am the world’s light; no one who follows me stumbles around in darkness. I give men light to live in. I have victory in my spirit; I’m filling everywhere, with the glory of God. There’s a shout of victory, in my spirit. Everything that’s connected with me flows in this victory. Glory to God! Amen!

Thank You Jesus,

Salvation Prayers

If you don’t Know Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour and would like to accept him into your life as your personal Lord and Saviour, Please say this prayer:

Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from You. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward You. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that Your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send Your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your Will for the rest of my life. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

Hymn 644:  I Have Been To the Fountain of Cleansing

I have been to the fountain of cleansing

And plung’d neath the life giving flow

‘Tis the blood shed of Calvary’s mountain

That makes the soul whiter than snow

CHORUS

O yes it makes whiter than snow

The blood cleanses me, this I know

Since it c1eans’d me from sin

I have Jesus within,

His blood cleanses whiter than snow

2:

I have been to the fountain of cleansing

Found peace in the crucified One

All my sins by His grace have been cancelled

And heav’n in my soul is begun

3:

I have been to the fountain of cleansing

And glory is flooding my soul

Hallelujah! My heart is rejoicing

His blood makes me ev’ry white whole

Hymn 648: I’ve believed the true report

1:

I’ve believed the true report,

Hallelujah to the Lamb!

I have passed the outer court,

O glory be to God!

I am all on Jesus’ side,

On the altar sanctified,

To the world and sin I’ve died,

Hallelujah to the Lamb !

CHORUS

Hallelujah! Hallelujah!

I have passed the riven vail,

Where the glories never fail,

Hallelujah! Hallelujah!

I am living in the presence of the King.

2:

I’m a King and priest to God,

Hallelujah to the Lamb!

By the cleansing of the blood,

O glory be to God!

By the Spirit’s power and light,

I am living day and night,

In the holiest place so bright,

Hallelujah to the Lamb!

3:

I’m within the holiest place,

Hallelujah to the Lamb!

I have passed the inner vail,

O glory be to God!

I am sanctified to God

By the power of the blood,

Now the Lord is my abode,

Hallelujah to the Lamb!

Thank You Jesus,

Hymn 708: Jesus, high in glory

1: Jesus, high in glory,

Lend a Listening ear;

When we bow before Thee,

Children’s praises hear.

2: Though Thou art so holy,

Heav’n’s almighty King,

Thou wilt stoop to listen

When Thy praise we sing.

3: We are little children,

Weak and apt to stray;

Saviour, guide and keep us

In the heav’nly way.

4: Save us, Lord, from sinning;

Watch us day by day;

Help us now to love Thee;

Take our sins away.

5: Then, when Thou shalt call us

To our heav’nly home,

We will gladly answer,

Saviour, Lord, we come!

“Hymn 763: Jerusalem the Golden, a Heavenly Home”

Hymn No 763

1: Jerusalem the golden,

With milk and honey blest,

Beneath thy contemplation

Sink heart and voice oppressed;

I know not, oh! I know not,

What joys await us there,

What radiancy of glory,

What bliss beyond compare.

2: They stand, those halls of Zion,

All jubilant with song;

And bright with many an angel,

And all the martyr throng:

The Prince is ever in them,

The daylight is serene,

The pastures of the blessed

Are decked in glorious sheen.

3: There is the throne of David,

And there from care released,

The shout of them that triumph,

The song of them that feast;

And they who with their Leader,

Have conquered in the fight,

Forever and forever

Are clothed in robes of white.

4: Oh, sweet and blessed country,

The home of God’s elect!

Oh, sweet and blessed country

That eager hearts expect!

Jesus, in mercy bring us

To that dear land of rest,

Who art, with God the Father,

And Spirit, ever blest.

Thank You Jesus,

Bringing About God’s Will

Bringing About God‘s Will

Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favor with God. And behold, thou
shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call
his name Jesus. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of
the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his
father David.

Luke 1:30-32

This is how the Word brought forth the ministry of Jesus, and this is
how God’s Word can bring forth God’s will in your life. This is God’s
plan for you too. He is still looking for men and women who are willing
to speak His Word into the earth, who are willing to let Him relate to
the world of man through their bodies and see His will be done on
earth as it is in heaven.

As a redeemed child of God, as a king and priest of the Most High and
as a new creature of God’s Kingdom, clothed in flesh, your body is your
badge of authority in the earth; Christ‘s blood is your badge of
authority in the heavens; God’s Word is your sword of authority in both
realms.

In His great love, God allows us to see in Christ what can be
accomplished when the Word walks among us. The Word laid hands on the
sick! The Word cast out devils. The Word caused the blind to see! The
Word washed away our sins! The Word rose from the dead!

Prayer for Today

Dear Heavenly Father,
I lift my hands in praise and thanksgiving for Your gift of Your Word,
made flesh in Your son Jesus Christ. Thank You for giving Him all authority in
heaven and earth and through His blood giving me authority over sin and
the devil. In Jesus Christ name! Amen!

Think on These Things

May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

God is glorified when we live in His salvation

God is glorified when we live in His salvation

John 9:4 says: “I must work the works of Him that sent Me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.” What Jesus did is the work of the Father. It was an expression of God’s will. It was directly connected to and inseparable from the salvation that He provided. Salvation includes all that Jesus showed us through His life. When we see what Jesus did, we see His will, and we see what He desires to do for us through our salvation. The work of Christ in His earthly lifetime, the work of Christ on the cross, and the work of Christ in His resurrection all reflect His purpose for our salvation. When we see Jesus heal the sick, we know healing is in our salvation. He came to save us, not condemn us. Jesus came to seek and save the lost, to rescue them, and to heal them. He is doing the very same things today. God is glorified when we live in His salvation. Not just when we go to heaven, but when people see what He has saved us from and brought us into while we are here on earth.

Glorify the Father!

May The Good Lord Save Nigeria And Israel From All Our Enemies And Prosper Us Beyond Our Imaginations, In Jesus Christ Mighty Name We Pray, Amen!

God Will Share His Glory With No Man

Stained glass at St John the Baptist's Anglica...

God will share His glory with no man

We all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit (2 Corinthians 3:18).

God will share His glory with no man. If you are not passionately pursuing the glory of God, He is not hanging out with you because He won’t share His glory. The reason He has saved you, the reason He elected you, the reason you are a child of God is to make you part of the community of people called the church, which exists for His glory alone.

We are dealing with the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, the Creator of the universe, and we just give Him the leftovers in our lives. We are reluctant to adjust to what He wants. We won’t redo our schedules or our plans because this is our life. But to ascribe glory to Him is to give Him recognition and authority in our lives. Jesus said in John 17:4: “I glorified You . . . having accomplished the work which You have given Me to do.” Remember also that Jesus prayed before His death: “For this purpose I came to this hour. Father, glorify Your name” (John 12:27-28). Christ died for the glory of God.

Can you say that in difficult times you will submit to the Lord’s purpose and trust that He will be glorified? God uses all things for His glory. Once we look into the mirror of His glory, we will find that He can transform our hearts, and whatever He wants us to do, He takes responsibility for providing for it to be done.

Whatever you do in word or deed, He wants you to wake up, and go to bed, with Him in mind. And if you do, He’ll transform you.

May Our God The Almighty prosper Nigeria and Israel and defend us from all our enemies in Jesus Christ Name, Amen!

Let The Fire Fall RCCG March 2012 Special Holy Ghost Service

By Pastor E. A. Adeboye

Let’s lift our hands to the Almighty God and worship Him, give Him all glory, give Him all honor, give Him adoration, He is worthy to be praised; He is worthy to be adored.

Give Him all glory, give Him all honor, He is our help in ages past; He is our hope for years to come. let’s give Him all glory, lest give Him all honor, He is worthy to be praised, it is by His grace that we are alive today, it is because of His mercy that we are here, praise Him, he is worthy to be praised, give Him all glory, give Him all hour.

Thank you father, in Jesus mighty name we worship.

Lift your voice to Him and say Father, don’t let me miss my breakthrough tonight, go ahead talk to the Almighty God… in Jesus might name we have prayed.

We are serving the God of miracles, I know, yes I know

We are serving the God of miracles; I know, yes I know halleluiah!

We are serving the God of miracles, I know, yes I know

We are serving the God of miracles; I know, yes I know halleluiah!

Eternal rock of ages, the Only one of Israel, the Ancient of days, the One who has no beginning and has no ending, the One who never grows old, the Alpha as well as Omega, the Beginning and the End, the Author and the Finisher of our faith. Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of peace, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the King that is coming again, Savior, Healer, Deliverer, Provider, Friend, our King, our Lord; the Lover of our soul, the Lifter up of our head, the Horn of our salvation, the Resurrection and the Light, glory be to your holy name.

Thank you for the Holy Ghost Service, that you started twenty six years ago, that has grown bigger and bigger year by year. Thank you for the souls that have been saved, thank you for the people you have healed, thank you for the barren that has become fruitful, thank you for the captives that you have set free, thank you for the poor that you have made rich, thank you for the forgotten that you remembered, please accept our thanks in Jesus name.

Tonight Father, prove yourself again, save soul, heal the sick, set the captives free, everyone of us here today, give us at least one major breakthrough.

By the time we leave here let it be said that God has visited His people again, thank you Almighty God. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed.

Let somebody shout halleluiah!

When I became General Overseer in 1981, people began to call me Daddy, and I was very uncomfortable with that title, I was only thirty nine years old and in those days, the popular thing is to call ourselves brothers and sister; everybody is a bro or a sis. But when I wanted to complain, God spoke to me; he said a brothers can wish you well, it is only a father who can bless and then the blessing will stick.

Today I am seventy years old, I think am old enough to be called Daddy and the first thing I want to do tonight, is that I want to give a father’s blessings to all those who call me daddy. So whether you are here or you are watching anywhere in the world; either by television, by internet or radio, if you regard me as your daddy, stand on your feet and let your amen be loud and clear.

My father and my God, the father of all fathers, thank you that at last, I can stand boldly as a father to all these your children and it is in your name that I am blessing them tonight. Every one of you who regard me as your daddy, you shall be blessed.

My God will take you higher than your dreams in Jesus name, because my God will fight for you, you will enjoy victory without a fight, because My God will promote you; you will enjoy success without a sweat.

Because my God is the controller of heaven and earth; I decree from this moment, all the powers in heaven, will come to your assistance.

The resources of the earth will flow into you, beginning from this moment; helpers will seek you out to help you. Because my father in heaven will build a shield over you; destroyers will never come near your home again, because my God is the great provider; your hands will never be empty again, as there is water in the ocean, your anointing will never run dry.

As long as morning follows the night; you will enjoy the mercies of the Almighty God. My Father in heaven the one who is the God that is more than enough, will from now on see to it that your joy will overflow.

Beginning from tonight, when you knock one door, seven will be open unto you. Any obstacles that the enemy may want to put in your way will become stepping stone to glory in Jesus name. Wherever you turn; you will find favor with God and favor with men and your children will be greater than you.

The Almighty God that I serve will answer all your prayers from now on. So shall it be in Jesus mighty name of Jesus I pray.

Daddy says because you bless them from the bottom of your heart, He said I have sealed it in.

Ten years ago, I called for people who will be my covenant partners; and several people volunteered. I said it would be for ten years, the ten years are over now and many of them had asked, what’s happening, are we going to continue? I told them I will ask God.

When I asked God, He said there will be a new set and it will not be for ten years. He said “because those people were in covenant with you for ten years, I had no choice but to keep them alive for ten years”. He said “You tied my hands”.

And I remembered all the miracles that happened in the life of my partners, and I thank God for all the miracles, I thank God for all my partners and I say, thank you for the past ten years.

Now, the Lord says to me, the new set of partners will be for only three years. He said after three years, we can review. So, if you want to be one of my partners, your duties will be as follows:

  • 1.      You will pray for us every day, even if it’s only one minute; very simple prayer ‘Father, strengthen your son, don’t let his anointing run dry, don’t let him fail you, let him finish strong’.

Four simple prayers:      strengthen him, don’t let his anointing run dry, don’t let him fail you, and      let him finish strong. That’s assignment one for my partners even if it’s      only one minute a day, please, include us in your prayers.

  • 2.      You’ll fast with us as we used to do. February, July and December. All you      need to do is a day at a time but if you can fast day and night      continuously then, fourteen days alone will be enough. So, you’ll pray for      us, you’ll fast and then you’ll support the work we are doing financially.

The new group, your support will be every month instead of every year and there will be ten groups. So, you’ll be able to join at least, one of the ten.

  • 1.      GROUP ONE: N100 a month.
  • 2.      GROUP TWO: N500 a month.
  • 3.      GROUP THREE: N1,000 a month.
  • 4.      GROUP FOUR: N5,000 a month.
  • 5.      GROUP FIVE: N10,000 a month.
  • 6.      GROUP SIX: N50,000 a month.
  • 7. GROUP      SEVEN: N100,000 a month.
  • 8.      GROUP EIGHT: N500,000 a month.
  • 9.      GROUP NINE: N1,000,000 a month.
  • 10.      GROUP TEN: N2,000,000 and above a month.

If you want to do it in Dollars or Pounds, they will show you everything on the screen. So you pick whichever group you want to belong to.

My advice is, come in at whatever level is convenient for you now, I trust my God that as He begins to bless you, you’ll keep on moving higher and there will be people who will enter in group two or three today before this time next year, they will already be in group ten.

So please, take some one minute, you’ll write your name, your address, your phone number, and the group you want to belong to.

When you’re sending the money, when you put it in an envelope, write at the back ‘Covenant Partner’. Write it at the back of the envelope so we’ll know into which account we will direct the money.

If you’re writing a cheque, please write it in the name of The Redeemed Christian Church of God and then at the back, put ‘Covenant Partner’. Don’t write the cheque in my name.

Any cheque written in my name will be used for what? (Response from the congregation: pounded yam) ah! Thank you, it will go for pounded yam straight.

So, write your cheque in the name of The Redeemed Christian Church of God and then at the back of the cheque write ‘Covenant Partner’.

My own duty is that I pray for my partners everyday; not once a month but everyday. And I promise you, my God who had been faithful to me all these years will be faithful to my partners also in Jesus’ name.

He made a promise, He said all those who are lifting up my hands, He said as I rise, they will rise. So you will rise with me in Jesus’ name. So, you’ll write your name, your address, your phone number, the group you want to belong to and please drop it in the offering basket later on in the night.

LET THE FIRE FALL

Judges 15 v 11-16 Then 3,000 men of Judah went down to the cleft of the rock of Etam and said to Samson, “Do you not know that the Philistines are rulers over us? What then is this that you have done to us?” And he said to them, “As they did to me, so I have done to them.”

They said to him, “We have come down to bind you so that we may give you into the hands of the Philistines.” And Samson said to them, “Swear to me that you will not kill me.”

So they said to him, “No, but we will bind you fast and give you into their hands; yet surely we will not kill you.” Then they bound him with two new ropes and brought him up from the rock.

When he came to Lehi, the Philistines shouted as they met him. And the Spirit of the LORD came upon him mightily so that the ropes that were on his arms were as flax that is burned with fire, and his bonds dropped from his hands.

He found a fresh jawbone of a donkey, so he reached out and took it and killed a thousand men with it.

Then Samson said, “With the jawbone of a donkey, heaps upon heaps, With the jawbone of a donkey I have killed a thousand men.”

What happens when the fire of God falls?

Number one; Yokes are destroyed. Isaiah 10 v 27 says the anointing destroys the yoke, when the fire of God fell on Samson, all the ropes binding him were burnt, they were not just cut but they were burnt. Because the fire that came down is the fire from the Almighty God and Hebrew 12 v 29 says our God is a consuming fire, so when the fire of God comes down, yokes seen and unseen are destroyed by the fire of God. And I am praying for someone here tonight, that whatever yokes may remain in your life, that which is not letting your life to prosper, that which have been hindering your legs from making progress they shall be consumed tonight in Jesus name.

The second thing that happens when the fire fall is that the one in whom the fire falls become empowered so that whatever his hands touches begins to prosper. Samson found the jawbone of an ass and the jaw bone of an ass suddenly became a weapon of war. Because when the fire of God falls, the one on whom it falls receive power.

In Act 1 v 8 the Bible says we shall receive power when the Holy Ghost is come upon us, in Act 3 v 1-8 after fire have poured upon Peter, he took a lame man by the man and because his hands has received power, he was able to transfer that power into the layman, and the layman now began to walk. I want you to stretch forth at this moment and say fire of God, fall on these hands so that from now on whatever I touch will begin to prosper.

The third thing that happens when the fire of God falls is that all external enemies are destroyed. Samson took the jawbone of an ass and suddenly all the enemies that didn’t run, laid down dead. The bible says in Psalm 68 v 1- 2 it says when God arise, his enemies will be scattered. And I am prophesying to someone here tonight, by the time you returned home, you will find that all your enemies are gone.

The Lord says there is someone here He said that business that was closed down, will reopen.

The Lord said there is someone here tonight; he said that which your enemy has swallowed he will vomit it.

The Lord says many homes will soon be filled with the laughter of new children.

Deuteronomy 28 v 1 -7 says clearly that if you are obedient to God, you won’t have to fight he said the enemy that comes against you in one way will flee before you in seven ways. In the name that is above every other name, from now on, all the enemies that stand up against you will be smitten by the Almighty God himself.

The fourth thing that happens when the fire of God falls is that the household enemies will be disappointed.

It was the relatives of Samson that bind him; they were those who handed him over to the external enemies. They were those who felt let us get rid of this trouble maker, they felt that Samson will never come back home, but God disappointed them.

All the enemies in your father’s house, all the enemies in your mother’s house. All the enemies in your husband house, all the enemies in your wife house, after tonight they shall be disappointed.

All those who though you will not reach your goals, all those who wanted to kill your dream like the brothers of Joseph, in the name the one who sent me, after you have reached your goal they will come and bow before you.

The Lord said there is someone here tonight, who is down cast, he asks me to tell you, that your sun will rise again.

David said in Psalm 23 v 5 David said thou prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemy, I assure every one of you listening to me tonight, whether the enemies like it or not, it shall be well with you.

The fifth thing that happens when the fire of God falls is that destiny will be restored.

When the relatives of Samson brought him bound to the enemy they thought his destiny was over, but then the Almighty God has a purpose for the life of Samson and God saw to it that the plan of the enemy to truncate the destiny of Samson was foiled. I have always said it nobody comes to this world without a reason.

God sent you to this world for a purpose, when you were young you had some beautiful dreams, you had dreams of greatness but as time began to go, it looks as if those dreams will never be fulfilled, I have good news for you tonight, before the end of this year, you will have a testimony.

The Lord says there is someone here, he said your constant prayer has been; God bless Daddy G.O, the Lord asked me to tell you, I will bless you also.

The Lord said there is someone here tonight, He said before the end of this month of March, he said you will sing “He has done it for me, what my family cannot do, he has done it for me”.

The Lord says there is someone who has made up his mind that he will deal ruthlessly with The Redeemed Christian church of God. The Lord asked me to tell whoever that is, and he is not saying the fellow is here, he just sad someone, and if you know such a person please tell him. He said the fellow should choose the kind of death he wants to kill him, he said he can have one out of four; motor accident, sleep and not wake up, cancer or heart attack.

Please I beg you, If you are the one and you are here, stay put with God at the altar tonight, don’t go home beg him until he will change his mind, when we finish stay put, you he knows all things. If it is your relatively, if you have ever heard someone says that, tell him what came out this night.

The sixth thing that happens when the fire fall is that when the fire falls on you, suddenly you begin to have the last laugh.

The Philistine were rejoicing; we got our enemy, he is even bound, this fellow is finished but not long after that, Samson was the one saying with the jaw bone of an ass, I have wiped out my enemies.

I prophesy to someone here today, in the name that is above every other name, you will laugh last.

In Daniel 6 v 1 -24 the enemies saw the way Daniel was rising so they plotted against him to put an end to him permanently they threw him into the den of lions , rolled a big stone, they thought this fellow is finished. I am sure they must have gone home that night rejoicing, but by the following morning, Daniel came out alive, the king sent for the enemies and asks them to go into the den themselves. I assure you, by the time the sun rises this day; it will be your turn to laugh at your enemies

.

The Lord said there is someone here tonight who has been asking, when will God answer my prayers? He asked me to tell you, tonight!

The Lord said there is someone here tonight, he said take a proper record of where you are now, he said because I am about to take you far.

In Exodus 12 v 31- 36 when the fire of God fell in the land of Egypt, Pharaoh sent for Moses in hurry, the one who had said “who is your God, I don’t know him and I am not going to let you go”, now said, go quickly, go and worship your God and bless me also. I can see Moses saying, I thought saying you don’t know my God and you are now asking my God to bless you. All those who have been asking where is your God? you will laugh last over them.

When the fire of God falls, a child of God will begin to sing a new song.

Humanly speaking, f Samson has a song before the fire fell, it will be it looks as if the end has come, but after the fire has fell, he began to sing a new song.

Every one of you here tonight, in the mighty name of Jesus, you will begin to sing a new song. Psalm 40 v 1-3 he said when I cried to the Almighty God, he brought me out of the miry clay and he put a new song in my mouth. The bible says in 126 v 1-3 he said when the Lord turned the captivity of Zion, he said we were like them that dream, then was our mouth filled with laughter and our tongue with singing. In the name that is above every other name, from this moment forward, you will be laughing for joy; you will be singing a new song.

The Lord said there is someone one here tonight, impossible as it may appear to you, he said one day when you arrived anywhere, everybody will stand up for you.

I think God reserve the best for the last for me!

The Lord says there is someone here tonight; he said your own golden age begins now.

Daddy says, it is usually said flowers fade, stories end, he said but there is someone here tonight, your testimony will never end.

That is the crown of it that means those who are thinking that maybe one day I will grow less, they are wasting their time.

1 Samuel 2 v 1 -10 when the Lord answered Hannah, she sang a new song, those of you who have been saying this barren woman is going to die barren, now come and see. You know when I was listening to the first testimony tonight of the woman who have been barren for seventeen children and God gave her four children at a go and I know, that I have asked God for seventy thousand children.

I know that testimony is going to be multiplied among my people.

Let me move out of the way so that the Holy Spirit can do what he wants to do.

When the fire falls, what it does depends on whom it falls. When the fire falls it either turns what it fell upon to fire or turn it to ashes.

You put a piece of wood in fire; the good part of the wood, will also become fire, the bad part of the wood will become ashes. When the fire of God falls, if you are not a child of God ,if you are not on the side of God, if you are leaving a life of sin, it is a dangerous thing to ask the fire of God to fall. Because if it falls on you and you are not one of his children, it will only destroy you.

Let God arise and his enemies be scattered and Jesus Christ says those who are not for me are against me, if you are not born again, if all your sins have not been watch away by the blood of the lamb and you say let the fire fall, how are you going to handle it? Tonight, we are going to pray in a moment, we are going to call on the fire of God to fall, it is already falling but it is about to fall down even heavier.

If you are not born again, you better run forward now, come and give your life to Jesus, let the blood of Jesus watch away your sins and then when the fires comes, it will provide you with mighty miracles.

If you want to give your life to Jesus begin to come now… And as you are coming begin to call on God, ask him to save your soul, ask God to be merciful unto you, ask him to forgive you all your sin, promise him that you will serve him from now on… the rest of us, let pray for them, and intercede that the Almighty God who save your soul will save their souls also…. in Jesus mighty name we have prayed.

Savior we bless your name, thank you for this your children and before this evening you have not allowed them to perish. Now they have come to you, please receive them in Jesus name, forgive them in Jesus name, let your blood cleanse them from all their sins in Jesus name.

Save their souls tonight and write their names in the book of life in Jesus name. When the fire falls tonight, let it bring them miracles in Jesus name. And I pray that they will never go back into to the world in Jesus name, thank you Almighty God, in Jesus mighty name we have prayed. Amen.

Those of you, who have come to give your life to Jesus tonight, let me hear you shout halleluiah! I am rejoicing with you because from now on by the special grace of God I will be praying for you. So I am going to need your name, your address and your prayer, the counselor will give you a card, please fill the card at

FAMILIARITY BREEDS CONTEMPT

Luke 4:24, “And he said, Verily I say unto you, No prophet is accepted in his own country.”

LUKE 4:16-30

A modern day equivalent of this verse is “familiarity breeds contempt.” Those who know the most about us also know more of our faults than anyone else. As a general rule, our weaknesses will blind most people to our strengths.

However, in the case of Jesus, there were no faults or failures to bias these people. In this instance, the problem stemmed from the people’s lack of perception. They knew Jesus better than most in the flesh, but they had failed to see who He was in the Spirit.

Jesus was God in all His power and majesty, yet He was clothed in flesh –a human in every respect (1 Tim. 3:16; Heb. 1:3). These people looked on Jesus’ outward appearance and failed to see God within (1 Sam. 16:7).

Likewise, we fail to see the potential in others and even in ourselves because of our preoccupation with the outward appearance and actions. But within every born again person is a new creation which is waiting to be released (2 Cor. 5:17). All it takes is someone who believes.

Today look beyond the exterior in yourself and others and help bring into reality what we can be in Christ.

God is still in the business of performing the miraculous (Readied to donate organs, 21 year old emerge from coma

By Susan Donaldson James – Good Morning AmericaYahoo News

Sam Schmid, an Arizona college student believed to be brain dead and poised to be an organ donor, miraculously recovered just hours before doctors were considering taking him off life support.

Schmid, a junior and business major at the University of Arizona was critically wounded in an Oct. 19 five – car accident in Tucson.

The 21-year-old’s brain injuries were so severe that the local hospital could not treat him. He was airlifted to the Barrow Neurological Institute at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Phoenix, where specialists performed surgery for a life-threatening aneurysm.

As hospital officials began palliative care and broached the subject of organ donation with his family, Schmid began to respond, holding up two fingers on command. Today he is walking with the aid of a walker, and his speech, although slow, has improved.

Doctors say he will likely have a complete recovery. He even hopes to get a day pass from the hospital to celebrate the holidays with his large extended family.

“Nobody could ever give me a better Christmas present than this — ever, ever, ever,” said his mother, Susan Regan, who is vice-president of the insurance company Lovitt-Touche.

“I tell everyone, if they want to call it a modern-day miracle, this is a miracle,” said Regan, 59, and a Catholic. “I have friends who are atheists who have called me and said, ‘I am going back to church.'”

Schmid’s doctor, renowned neurosurgeon Dr. Robert Spetzler, agreed that his recovery was miraculous.

“I am dumb-founded with his incredible recovery in such a short time,” said Spetzler. “His recovery was really remarkable considering the extent of his lethal injuries.”

Hospital officials are crediting Spetzler with having a “hunch” that despite an initially dire prognosis, the young man would make it. But he said it was “reasonable” for others to consider withdrawing the patient from life support.

“It looked like all the odds were stacked against him,” said Spetzler, who has performed more than 6,000 such surgeries and trained the doctor who operated on Congressman Gabrielle Giffords after she was shot at the beginning of this year.

During surgery, Spetzler clipped the balloonlike aneurysm in the blood vessel — “as if I were patching a tire,” a procedure that eventually worked.

For days Schmid didn’t seem to be responding, but what puzzled his doctor was that he did not see fatal injuries on the MRI scan. So he decided to keep Schmid on life support longer.

“There was plenty wrong — he had a hemorrhage, an aneurysm and a stroke from the part of the aneurysm,” Spetzler said. “But he didn’t have a blood clot in the most vital part of his brain, which we know he can’t recover from. And he didn’t have a massive stroke that would predict no chance of a useful existence.”

So while the family was given a realistic picture of Schmid’s poor chances for survival, Spetzler ordered one more MRI to see if the critical areas of the brain had turned dark, indicating brain death.

“If not, we would hang on and keep him on support,” he said. “But I didn’t want to give the family false hope.”

Schmid’s mother said no one “specifically” asked if her son would be a donor, but they “subtly talk to you about quality of life.”

“At some point, I knew we had to make some sort of decision, and I kept praying,” said Regan.

The MRI came back with encouraging news during the day and by evening Schmid “inexplicably” followed the doctors’ commands, holding up two fingers.

“It was like fireworks all going off at the same time,” said Spetzler.

Today, Schmid — his speech clear and sounding upbeat — told ABCNews.com, “I feel fine. I’m in a wheelchair, but I am getting lots of help.”

Sam Schmid Has No Memory of the Accident

He said he remembers nothing of the accident nor coming around after being in an induced coma. “It wasn’t until I woke up in rehab,” he said. “But they told me about afterwards.”

Schmid was returning from coaching basketball at his former Catholic school when a van swerved into his lane. The Jeep in which he was riding went airborne, hit a light pole and landed on its side.

Schmid’s left hand and both of his femurs broke and required surgery. But the worst were the traumatic head injuries, which were complex and nearly always fatal.

All those involved say the support that Schmid got from family and friends — and especially the care at Barrow — may have made the difference. His brother John, a 24-year-old IT specialist, took a leave of absence from his job in Chicago to be at his brother’s bedside.

Family flew in from around the country, and Delta Chi fraternity brothers made regular visits, even creating a mural for their friend.

“It seems like we were being led down a path to plan for the worst and that things were not going to work out,” said John Schmid. “The miracle, to put it bluntly, was that in a matter of seven days, we went from organ donation to rehab. What a roller coaster it was.”

He said his brother’s speech is slow, but he understands what others are saying. Sam Schmid’s athleticism — as a basketball coach and snowboard instructor — probably helped, he said.

“Honestly, I am at a loss for words,” said John Schmid. “I am just so proud of Sam. He’s got a strong constitution and he’s very determined. But it’s been quite an eye-opener for me — a real learning curve. You can’t take anything for granted.”

Sam Schmid’s surgeon agrees.

“You get incredible highs when you save someone facing neurological devastation or death,” said Spetzler. “That is counter-pointed by the incredible lows when you fail to help someone.”

“In a way, his recovery was truly miraculous,” he said. “It’s a great Christmas story.”

Ever the scientist, Spetzler wasn’t willing to speculate what a comatose patient hears. But he admits, “There are so many things we don’t understand about the brain and what happens at the time someone is near death.”

“The whole family was at his side during the day and at night hovering over him, then to see there was a chance after being ready to let go,” he said. “But I am very much a big believer that positive thoughts and positive energy in a room can only help.”

May God Almighty prosper Nigeria and Israel and defend us from all our enemies in Jesus Christ Name, Amen!

One step at a time God brings us to a place He can train us to live a life that glorifies Him and is a blessing to others

One step at a time God brings us to a place where He can train us to live a life that glorifies Him and is a blessing to others

A picture of brokenness is that of a wild stallion wanting its independence but being ridden for the first time. It does not want to submit, and it does not want to do what it is told to do. It enjoys a cowboy feeding it, keeping its trough filled with fresh water, and allowing it to go out and nibble grass in the sunshine. The problem comes when the saddle is tossed on its back and the harness is placed over its head.

However, if you have watched a horse being broken, you know the cowboy has more sense than to take a new horse that has never been ridden and toss a saddle on its back. For days, the animal may be led around a pen as it adjusts to the pressure of wearing a harness and the conditions surrounding its changing lifestyle. Then the saddle comes out of the tack room and is placed on the horse’s back – but without a rider. Finally, the cowboy puts a foot in one of the stirrups.

There are many steps in between these, but we can form a mental picture of the process used to break a horse and prepare it to be ridden. When the cowboy climbs into the saddle, the initial shock of having someone on its back is frightening and irritating. The animal begins to buck and rears its head before it begins to settle and trot around its pen. Some horses refuse to be broken and risk being sold. Others, in time and through proper care, are broken and begin the enjoyment of a lifetime of service to their owners.

When God begins to work in your life, He doesn’t immediately toss a saddle on your back or seek to break you through the circumstances of life. Instead, He works with a plan and goal in mind. Bit-by-bit and inch-by-inch, He brings you to a place where He can train you to live a life that glorifies Him and is a blessing to others.

May God Almighty prosper Nigeria and Israel and defend us from all our enemies in Jesus Christ Name, Amen!

Arise and shine for the light has come and the gloryof the Lord has risen upon you

The Redeemed Christian Church of GOD.
HOLY GHOST CONGRESS!
Theme: A NEW THING.
Date: 12-17 Dec, 2011.
Venue: Redemption camp, KM 46, Lagos Ibadan expressway, Nigeria.
You are invited!

Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee (Isaiah 60:1).

God has called you to the life of glory, which is beyond the earthly realm. That life is the manifestation of His glory: The perfections, beauty and excellence of divinity resident in your spirit! This therefore means that the glory of God is in you.

Our Lord Jesus Christ walked and lived in the glory of God everyday while He walked on earth. The people living in His day saw God’s grace mightily at work in Him and testified to it: “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father), full of grace and truth” (John 1:14)

God wants you to shine in the beauty and excellence of His grace which He has bestowed on your life. He wants you to excel in your job, academics, projects, relationships and all that you do, until the world begins to wonder at you. The way to make this happen is to meditate continually on God’s Word, for the glory is in the Word. Before long, that glory will rise from your spirit and be evident in your life, through your words, deeds, and ideas.

Confession

My life is an expression of the glory of God within my Spirit. Today, I am moving from glory to glory and excelling in all that I do. Many are coming to the knowledge of Christ Jesus through the radiance of God’s beauty upon my life! Hallelujah! Amen!

For God’s Glory

Jesus is considered by scholars such as Weber ...

Image via Wikipedia

WE ARE
CREATED FOR GOD’S GLORY

Even every one that is called by my
name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made
him (Isaiah 43:7)

The reason
many people still find themselves in regrettable circumstances is that they
haven’t come in terms with their identity in Christ Jesus. You must realize
that God made you, not so you’ll be defeated or fail in life, He created you
for glory and for beauty – you’re His Best! The Bible says “Of His own will begat He us with the word of truth, that we should be
a kind of first – fruits of His creatures”
(James 1:18). To be the first
fruit of His creatures means you’re the first and the best!

You’re the
best of you that there is. No wonder God loves to brag and show off with you! You’re
His peculiar treasure: “But ye are a
chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that
ye should shew forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness
into His marvellous light”
(1 Peter 2:9). Therefore, take pleasure in your
uniqueness; delight in your peculiarity, for no one else in the world can do
the things you do. No one can take your place; you must bless the world with
the investment of your personality.

You’re not
struggling to be the best, you’re the best! In Matthew 4:19, Jesus met two
fishermen (Peter and Andrew) and said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Now, the exciting
thing about those words of Jesus Christ is the fact that He (Christ) was the
One “making” them, and not they “trying” to become. God has made you who you
are – a bundle of success; an achiever, and a victor in Christ Jesus, and no
one can unmake what God has made! He lives in you to ensure you become that
dream that you have in your spirit.

Let this
mind be in you today, not only do you deserve the best, you’re the best! God gave
His Son Jesus Christ – His best to die in your place, that shows your true
value. You only give the best to get the best. Wake up! Rise! Shake yourself
out of the dust, and be the person God has ordained you to be, for He has made
you for glory, and for beauty – you’re the best!

PRAYER

Dear Heavenly Father! Thank You for
choosing me out of the world for Your glory. Thank You for the divine ability
You’ve given me to be a success and a victor in life. I declare that my life is
for Your praise, glory and beauty, as I take the necessary steps today to bring
forth durable fruits unto Your Holy Name!
Amen!
