If you will repent and turn away from sin, and trust God, He will forgive you and grant you everlasting

Just imagine a well trained and experienced driver who is knowledgeable about the traffic laws but chooses to disobey because he or she is in hurry to get to their destination for a just cause or simply because they are impatient. Whatever good reason he or she might have does not hide the fact that he has broken the law, if apprehended he or she will be tried and found guilty of the law.  This highlights the most common mistakes people make about God and His laws (The Ten Commandments).

God’s justice will be so thorough; He will even judge hatred as murder and “every idle word that men speak”. Have you ever put anything in your life before God? If you have, will you be innocent or guilty on that day of breaking God’s law. Remember that the law doesn’t see the fact that you have a “weakness” or “that everyone else does it” as a legitimate excuse. If you were found guilty you will go to hell, and it is not the Lord’s Will that you go to hell. God has provided a way for us to be forgiven.

God demonstrated His love towards us, in that, while we were still sinner, Christ died for us and then rose from the dead and defeated death.

If you will repent and turn away from sin and trust God, He will forgive you and grant you everlasting life.

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, I confess my sins (name them) and I ask for forgiveness. Please come into my life and put my name in the Book of Life and I promise by Your Grace to serve you all the days of my life, in Jesus Christ Name I pray, Amen!

Action Points: Read The Bible daily and strive by God’s Grace to obey all of His Instructions!

May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

God’s Testimonial

God’s Testimonial

“Henceforth I call you not servant; for the servant knows not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you” (John 15:15)

God testifies that you are the salt of the earth and the light of the world (Matthew 5:13-16). The testimony of a child of God is of great significance. Revelation 1:5-6 says we have been made kings and priests unto God. 1 Peter 2:9 says, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous lights.” By divine appointment, every child of God is a priest of the King of kings, a saint and a holy person. He is peculiar – different. As salt of the earth, the believer arrests decay and preserves what is good. This is why corruption should not thrive anywhere a bona fide believer is. Are corrupt practices flourishing where you are? If yes, then you are not living as the salt of the earth that you are.

Long before refrigerators were invented, salt was used in preserving meat. It is able to keep flies at bay and therefore prevent infestation of maggots. If meat was already decaying, as soon as salt was introduced, that was the end to its decadence. In what ways have you lived up to God’s billing or testimony? Being called the Light of the World makes us the opposite of darkness. The entrance of light brings in shouts of jubilation, joy and life. Whenever there is light, you would be prompted to attend to tasks that were abandoned. To what extent have you affected people around you as salt or light?

In John 15:15, Jesus further calls us friends. it is a great honour to be introduced as the friend of Mr President how much more as the friend of the Most High God. You can be certain that all doors will fling open to you at the mention of that Name – JESUS. What God expects from you is that having called you with such precious names, He wants you to live up to what you are called so that, it can become your testimonial. Ask God for grace to live up to the worth of your names. It is when your life agrees with the name the Lord has called you that it becomes your testimonial.

Prayer Point: Dear Heavenly Father, empower Your church worldwide to live up to the gracious names she is called, in Jesus Christ Name I pray! Amen!

May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

Dangers Of Loving The World

Paul van Dyk @ Powerzone ADE Amsterdam

Dangers Of Loving The World

“For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.” (1 John 2:16)

When you love the world, it can affect salient areas of your life. This is why we must pray for leaders to shun worldly lust and focus on the things of God. The love of the world can stand between you and your requests. A leader who loves the world will be incapable of making effective intercession for the flock. The love of the world also terminates spiritual life. The fellow who loves the world will find his or her love for God ebbing by the day. With love for the world, it will be impossible to love God with all your heart. Yet, God demands 100% love from you. “and thou shall love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and wit all thy soul, and with all thy might” (Deuteronomy 6:5).

“For Demas hath forsake me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescene to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia” (2 Timothy 4:10). Another danger of loving the world is that it can lead to progressive compromise and ultimately to backsliding. One sign of knowing that your love for God is waning is that you will begin to make excuses for certain sins or wrong doings. God’s standard will become so tall and unreachable, that you will come up with unhealthy substitutes. Do you find yourself explaining away premarital sex, office theft, manipulation of church record, etc? It shows your love for God is being replaced with the love of the world. If worldly standards are now being favoured above the standards of the Bible, your love for God is fast ebbing. It starts with little complaints and finding faults with the church, church leaders, activities and programmes. Before long, one would realize how far one has drifted. Can you imagine a great leader and fellow companion of Paul becoming a victim of this? Demas, who was so consumed with the things of the kingdom, gradually allowed worldly lusts to seep into his heart, until it was too late. He had totally backslidden. He left Paul for Thessalonica, the height of ungodliness and sinful pleasure. If Demas could fall, any leader can. Pray for God to insulate the heart of our spiritual leaders against worldliness.

Prayer Point: Dear Heavenly Father, in the mighty Name of Jesus Christ, keep our leaders from being overtaken by worldliness, Amen!

May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

Pray To Separate Your Leaders From Fear

Pray To Separate Your Leaders From Fear

For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7

Before any leader will make it in ministry, there is a need to back up such an individual with prayers. It took much intercessory prayers from Jesus on behalf of Peter, to move from a point of denying Jesus to the other extreme of performing special miracles (Acts 5:15-16). For your leaders to succeed, you need to invest in prayers for him or her. If you fail to pray for your leaders, do not complain when they fall into temptations or take wrong decisions. You are part of the cause. However, if you pray for your leader and yet he fails, you pray want to believe that it was still partly your fault: that is, you did not pray enough. When last did you spend on solid hour interceding for your leader?

There are areas you need to pray specifically about concerning spiritual leaders. Such breakthrough prayers will help to take care of the barriers in their way. The first of these is FEAR. Fear is not a strange phenomenon as far as ministerial work is concerned. Even the disciples that went through the physical training of Jesus Christ had to contend with fear. They could not publicly declare Jesus for fear of persecution. They had to lock up themselves in the upper room until the Holy Ghost was sent.

Fear can make a spiritual leader to compromise. This is why some leaders cannot preach restitution for fear of losing rich members. For this same reason, sermons against polygamy are unpopular in many churches today. Any spiritual leader that has not overcome fear may never really become a vessel of honour t God. Anything you fear dominates your life (Romans 6:16). Some pastors and leaders are afraid to go to their place of posting. Some find it difficult to go to remote towns and villages, especially after hearing the history of witchcraft activities there. If you fail to break this yoke in the lives of your leaders, you will remain limited. You may never be able to hear the full Gospel through them. They will not be able to give their best, and your blessings could be hindered. Arise and intercede for your leaders, breaking the yoke of fear in their lives.

Prayer Point: Dear Heavenly Father, break the yoke of fear in the life of my pastor, and fill him with the spirit of holiness to enable him declare Your full counsel in Jesus Christ Name I pray! Amen!

May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

God Hates Religion

God Hates Religion

But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitanes,
which I also hate.

Revelation 2:6

If God hates something, then you are supposed to hate it. The
Nicolaitanes were known for their lascivious life style, for false
teaching, and for error. They wanted the priesthood to be restored, but
they wanted the church to be controlled by laymen. Nicholas, the
deacon, was their leader.

Men elected by men are not supposed to rule men called by God. When you
have laypersons trying to run what God planted, you will never get what
God wanted to happen because they aren’t called and anointed for that
role. Just because someone is a successful businessman doesn’t mean
that person knows anything about the anointing of God and the plan that
God has for the church.

God hates religion. Christianity is not a religion. Religion is
comprised of forms, customs, and religious activity. Christianity is an
experience with someone that is alive, someone who will change your
life forever. His name is Jesus Christ!

Prayer for Today

Dear Heavenly Father,
I praise You for reaching out to me, for desiring a relationship with
me that is true, pure, and enduring. I thank You for ever living and
ever interceding for Your people and Your church. In Jesus Christ Name! Amen!

It is time for the Church to be about the Father‘s business… it’s time for us to go further

And I tell you that you are Peter, and on his rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.
Matthew 16:18

Did you know that the Church is to confront demons of darkness wherever we find them? We are to cast them out in the name of Jesus as a sign to unbelievers! This may sound radical to you but it is not-it is what Christ Jesus said we would do!

“And these signs shall follow them that believe; in my name they cast out devils” (Mark 16:17)
. The Church has been slothful in deliverance. We have been lazy, for we don’t want to pay the price to live holy lives, we do not study the Word of God the way we ought to, we do not spend the time before God’s presence as we should and we do not exercise our authority as we are directed to do. So as a Church how can we know the Father’s heart?

As believers our lives and actions are to testify that we belong to Christ Jesus. We are to spread the Word of God, cast out demons, set the captives free, take care of the needy and poor, and demonstrate the love of God continually.

It is time for the Church to be about the Father’s business… it’s time for us to go further.

Humble Submission

Humble Submission

Jesus came with them to a place called Gethsemane, and said to the disciples, “Sit here while I go and pray over there.”

Matthew 26:36, NKJV

The betrayal and arrest of Jesus was preceded by an extended time of prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane. When He stepped out of the garden to present Himself to His enemies, Jesus had been alone, praying and agonizing for hours, wrestling with the will of His Father for His life, sweating what seemed to be great drops of blood in His effort. Throughout His agony He received the personal ministration of angels who helped Him to renew His strength, and He overcame the supreme temptation of the enemy to defy God‘s purpose, choosing instead to go to the Cross.

His humble submission to His Father’s will must have given Him a mantle of power that cloaked Him for the nine-hour journey that would take Him through six different trials, the inhumane cruelty of physical torture, the ultimate rejection of those He loved, and the climax of His own crucifixion and death on a Roman cross.

How is it that you and I think we can make it through the gruelling journey of life without that same humble submission to the Father?

Growing In Love

Love

Growing in Love

[Love] rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
Beareth all things…. Beareth all things, believeth all things,
hopeth all things, endureth all things.

1 Corinthians 13:5,7

Let me say something that may shock you but is nevertheless true: You don’t really fall in love with someone until after you’ve been married to them. All the other feel-good things that happen in courtship aren’t
real love. These things aren’t necessarily bad, and you have to admit
that they feel awfully good, but they aren’t real love.

You don’t “fall” in love; you grow in love. You grow love over time,
choosing again and again to take advantage of God’s love and power to
extend love to both your mate and yourself.

This is God‘s plan for marriage. Any time you tinker with God’s plan,
somebody pays a terrible price. Where divorce is concerned, not only do
the spouses suffer but the children get stuck with the painful bill for
their parent’s foolishness. It is always better for a couple to get in
God’s Word and work it out in love, and keep working it out. At least
that way the child sees that a person doesn’t just cut and run when
things get tough. If a child sees a parent run from difficulty, it will
be easier for the child to do the same thing in school, on the job, in
his or her relationships, and in every other area of their lives.

Believe God and stand on His Word. When you do, you’ll get God’s power
involved in your situation. It may appear hopeless, but there’s no
hopelessness with God.

Prayer for Today

Dear Heavenly Father,
You are hope. You are life. You are love itself, and You are the One
who can keep my relationships-including my marriage-on a firm
foundation that stands the tests of time and adversity. I run to You
and look to Your Word for love that never fails. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

You Know God’s Voice

John 10:3 says: “To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.”

When we are born again, we have a supernatural knowledge of the voice of God. We know the voice of the Father. We are not carried about by the voice of a stranger, and we don’t listen to our senses. We don’t listen to other people, unless they are representative of the voice of God and the Word of God. And we don’t listen to deceptive voices. We are not moved by circumstances, but we are moved and led by God’s Word. You know God’s voice. Wait upon the Lord. Let Him speak. When He speaks, you say, and you do. There’s where the rubber meets the road and faith is born, when you hear God and you put action to what you hear.

Hear Him!

God the Living Word

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 1:1, NIV

John’s Gospel begins with the astounding statement that “In the beginning was the Word.” The Greek translation for “word” is logos, which means the outward expression of all that God is. Plato once said that he hoped one day there would come a “logos” from God that would make everything clear. John said He has come! “And the Word was with God . . .” as another separate, Supreme Being. “And the Word was God.” Although the Word is another separate Person from God the Father, He is no less in power, position, or personality. Because He is God the Creator! “Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. . . . The Word became flesh and lived for a while among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only Son who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14, NIV)

The “One and Only Son who came from the Father” is the logos of God through Whom God created everything, and His name is JESUS!

God is glorified when we live in His salvation

God is glorified when we live in His salvation

John 9:4 says: “I must work the works of Him that sent Me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.” What Jesus did is the work of the Father. It was an expression of God’s will. It was directly connected to and inseparable from the salvation that He provided. Salvation includes all that Jesus showed us through His life. When we see what Jesus did, we see His will, and we see what He desires to do for us through our salvation. The work of Christ in His earthly lifetime, the work of Christ on the cross, and the work of Christ in His resurrection all reflect His purpose for our salvation. When we see Jesus heal the sick, we know healing is in our salvation. He came to save us, not condemn us. Jesus came to seek and save the lost, to rescue them, and to heal them. He is doing the very same things today. God is glorified when we live in His salvation. Not just when we go to heaven, but when people see what He has saved us from and brought us into while we are here on earth.

Glorify the Father!

May The Good Lord Save Nigeria And Israel From All Our Enemies And Prosper Us Beyond Our Imaginations, In Jesus Christ Mighty Name We Pray, Amen!

I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined to me and heard my cry

I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined to me and heard my cry

Psalm 40:1

Like you, I’ve spent my life waiting – waiting to see a doctor, waiting for my turn to board a plane in a crowded airport terminal, waiting for someone to call, waiting
in a checkout line at the grocery store. Some waits are mundane, some are outright
boring, and some are filled with anxiety. The real question is, what’s happening
within us while we wait? How are we spending our time in that wait?

In that grocery store line, or that airport terminal, or that doctor’s office, are
we spending time with the Lord? So much of our lives are filled with anxieties and
worries, and yet, we have heard so many people say, “I have no time to pray, or
read the Bible. My life is too hectic.” Yet, we all spend so much of our lives waiting
here or there. What if we would choose to spend those waiting times in prayer? What
would happen to us while we wait?

I love Psalm 40:1 that says, “I waited patiently for the Lord and He inclined to
me and heard my cry.” I love it because, just as I wait patiently for the Lord,
the Lord is also patiently waiting for me to call on Him.

Our waiting times in life may just be the time that transforms our lives.

PRAYER:

Heavenly Father, in these quiet times of waiting in life, I draw near to You in
prayer. Cradle me in Your loving arms as I worship Your Holy name. In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

May Our God The Almighty prosper Nigeria and Israel and defend us from all our enemies in Jesus Christ Name, Amen!

You’ve been blessed to be a blessing

You’ve been blessed to be a blessing

And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed (Galatians 3:8).

One of the everyday conveniences that has a great impact on our lives was invented in 1879 by Thomas Alva Edison. Many other who previously tried gave up because of the seeming difficulty involved. However, Edison persisted. He had a strong resolve to be a blessing to the world. Today, after he is long gone, not only is he remembered as an astute scientist whose immense contributions have ushered in many more inventions, he is also renowned for giving the world one of its finest and most important inventions – the incandescent light bulb!

Imagine what the world would have been like without lights. This is what the Bible refers to as witty inventions (Proverbs 8:12). Many today have done much more. You can also be that one man that’ll cause a major change in today’s world. You’ve been blessed to be a blessing. When the Lord told Abraham, “….In thee shall all families of the earth be blessed”(Genesis 12:3), he wasn’t just referring to Abraham alone, but to Christ Jesus. As a new creation in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:17) you’re the seed of Abraham (Galatians 3:29).

Therefore, it’s your responsibility to be a blessing to your world. You’re that agent of change that your community, your state, nation and the world as a whole is looking for. You’ve been imbued with the divine wisdom to chart a new course and bless your world. In Proverbs 25:2, the Bible says, “It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter”. Through the Spirit, you can search out hidden treasures to bless your world.

No matter the field you’re in, you have the wisdom to provide solution to problems and answers to questions. Colossians 2:2-3 tells us that the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hid in Christ. This same Christ has been made unto you wisdom (1 Corinthians 1:30). The Wisdom of God in you has separated you from mediocrity to excellence; you have in you the grace to change and bless your world.

PRAYER:

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for anointing my mind with divine wisdom to affect the lives of people all over the world. I am the seed of Abraham. My thoughts are anointed, and I implement those ideas by the ability of God’s Spirit at work in me, in Jesus Christ mighty Name! Amen!

May Our God The Almighty prosper Nigeria and Israel and defend us from all our enemies in Jesus Christ Name, Amen!

He that digs a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaks an hedge, a serpent shall bite him

He that digs a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaks an hedge, a serpent shall bite him (Ecclesiastes 10:8)

Every one of God’s children has a hedge of protection around them; put there by God Himself, whether they know it or not. It is important to know that you are the only one who can break this hedge of protection and allow the enemy access into your life. In the opening Scripture, we read that the one who breaks the hedge has opened the way for the serpent to bite him and the serpent is symbolic of the devil. You must realize that the devil has no right and no business pulling his strings in your life; however, if you break the hedge, then you leave yourself exposed.

So, how can one break the hedge? Through speaking negative words, contrary to God’s Word. This was what happened to Job in the Bible. Reading on the surface, you may think that job suffered the entire calamity he did merely as a trial of his faith. However, Job was the one who opened the way for the enemy to attack him. The devil himself knew Job was protected and that’s why he asked God, “Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side?” (Job 1:10). But what was Job’s testimony? He said, “I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came” (Job 3:25). How could Job talk that way when even the devil knew he was protected? Because of his ignorance of the hedge.

You’re the architect of your own blessing or danger. You have the power to create your own danger, so speak only those words that will keep the hedge in its place. Speak words of faith; declare all that God has said about you, irrespective of what the circumstances show you. Remember that the devil can have no access into your life, except you let him.

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your hedge of protection around me. I recognize that there are angels all around me, and that your anointing has distinguished me from all evil. I walk in dominion and victory every day of my life, reigning and winning, in the Name of the Lord Jesus, Amen!

May Our God The Almighty prosper Nigeria and Israel and defend us from all our enemies in Jesus Christ Name, Amen!

Your Name is a confession

Stained glass at St John the Baptist's Anglica...

Your name is a confession

Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee (Genesis 17:5).

All over the world, people bear names that represent different things, some names represent personalities, landmarks or events, and they’re handed down from one generation to another. Many times, Christians have found themselves bearing names that contradict what they believe. Those names were handed to them by their forbears, and not many ever bothered to find out the meaning of those names to be sure they’re consistent with who we are today in Christ Jesus.

It’s no use answering the name that contradict what you believe about the Gospel and who you are in Christ Jesus, for it can work against you. The name you answer is a major confession in your life. As you answer that name you’re continually confessing the meaning of that name. if you study the Bible, you’ll notice how God changed the names of several people. Before their names were changed, they lived the life of the name they bore. When God changed their names, their destinies also changed.

Abraham, for example, which means father of many, used to be called Abram, meaning “exalted or assumed father” (Genesis 17:5). He and his wife were without a child until their names changed to Abraham and Sarah. Isaac’s son Jacob is another example. His name meant “one that takes by heel; deceiver”. In today’s rendition, that would mean, “swindler, fast guy, or scammer.” Of course, he grew up to answer his name; he deceived his father, cheated his brother, and remained a cheat until God met him and changed his name (Genesis 32:27-28).

To answer a name means that you agree to, confess and endorse the meaning and import of that name in your life. That’s why you ought to answer only names that are consistent with God’s purpose for you; names that glorify God’s Word and are consistent with your identity and position as a new creation in Christ Jesus.

Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for giving me a new name according to your divine plan for me. I’m a success, a victor, and more than a conqueror; I’m not just the effulgence of the glory of God, my name is “The Glory of God!” prosperity, divine health, joy and peace are mine, in Jesus Christ Name, Amen!

May Our God The Almighty prosper Nigeria and Israel and defend us from all our enemies in Jesus Christ Name, Amen!

Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need

Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. —Hebrews 4:16

During World War II, the British Isles represented the last line of resistance against the sweep of Nazi oppression in Europe. Under relentless attack and in danger of collapse, however, Britain lacked the resources to see the conflict through to victory. For that reason, British Prime Minister Winston Churchill went on BBC radio and appealed to the world: “Give us the tools, and we will finish the job.” He knew that without help from the outside, they could not endure the assault they were facing.

Life is like that. Often, we are inadequate for the troubles life throws at us, and we need help from outside of ourselves. As members of the body of Christ, that help can come at times from our Christian brothers and sisters (Rom. 12:10-13)—and that is a wonderful thing. Ultimately, however, we seek help from our heavenly Father. The good and great news is that our God has invited us to come confidently before Him: “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need” (Heb. 4:16).

At such times, our greatest resource is prayer—for it brings us into the very presence of God. There we find, in His mercy and grace, the help we need. —Bill Crowder

God has given you His promise,
That He hears and answers prayer,
He will heed your supplication
If you cast on Him your care. —Bernstecher

Don’t let prayer be your last recourse in time of need; make it your first.

May Our God The Almighty prosper Nigeria and Israel and defend us from all our enemies in Jesus Christ Name, Amen!

Worry Changes nothing

Worry Changes nothing

Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?  Matthew 6:26-27

Let’s make a list—“The Advantages of Anxiety

Let’s start our list with worry helps our health.  Lose sleep and live longer.  A nervous stomach is a happy stomach, isn’t it?

We can even plan days of worry.

Monday—stress over the economy

Tuesday—list the reasons we could be unemployed by year end.

Let’s face it!  Worry has no advantages.  It ruins health, robs joy, and changes nothing!  Our days stand no chance against the terrorists of the “Land of Anxiety.”  But Christ offers a worry-bazooka.

Remember how he taught us to pray?  “Give us this day our daily bread.”  Worry doesn’t empty tomorrow of its sorrows; it empties today of its strength.  Live one day at a time.  Make it a day changer!  God’s Word says: “He will take care of everything you need!”

Choose to make every day a great day!

Suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, . . . and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit.

Acts 2:2-4, NKJV

On The Wings Of Faith

I understand that a turkey and an eagle react differently to the threat of a storm. A turkey reacts by running under the barn, hoping the storm won’t come near. On the other hand, an eagle leaves the security of its nest and spreads its wings to ride the air currents of the approaching storm, knowing they will carry it higher in the sky than it could soar on its own.

Based on your reaction to the storms of life, which are you?

A turkey or an eagle?

It’s natural for me to be a turkey in my emotions, but I have chosen to be an eagle in my spirit. And as I have spread my wings of faith to embrace the “Wind,” placing my trust in Jesus and Jesus alone, I have experienced quiet, “everyday” miracles:

His joy has balanced my pain.

His power has lifted my burden.

His peace has calmed my worries.

So . . . would you spread your wings of faith and soar?!

The path of the just is like the shining sun. That shines ever brighter unto the perfect day

 Shine Brighter for Christ.

Proverbs 4:18 “But the path of the just is like the shining sun. That shines ever brighter unto the perfect day.”

You are the righteousness of God; or in other words, you are the showpiece of God’s saving grace and His forgiveness on this earth. As you seek God and allow Him to take control of every facet of your life you will find that your life shines brighter and brighter and God will use you more and more to change and impact other people’s lives, in Jesus Christ Name! Amen!

Are you a giver

Proverbs 3:27-28 (AMP) “27 Withhold not good from those to whom it is due [its rightful owners], when it is in the power of your hand to do it. 28 Do not say to your neighbor, Go, and come again; and tomorrow I will give it–when you have it with you.”

Jesus said that one day everyone will stand before Him and have to give an account of the good they done while here on earth. As a matter of fact He said that many will say on that day that they done great works in His name; driving out demons and healing the sick, but they did not care for others in need. When the fire of God is burning in your heart, you will be compelled to give and share with others. Amen!
