1 Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God, and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil.
2 Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few.
3 For a dream cometh through the multitude of business; and a fool’s voice is known by multitude of words.

Message

The Bible in Ecclesiastes 5 admonishes us on what our attitude should be when we go to the house of God. We are advised to watch our carriage to prevent causing distractions. We are counselled that while in the house of God, we should be more ready to hear than to give the sacrifice of fools. Out of fear and reverence for the Almighty God, we are admonished to keep our mouth shut and speak sparingly. In fact the Bible used the term “sacrifice of fools” as a reference to careless chatter made in the presence of the Most High God. Here, the Bible reminds us that our God is in heaven while our place is here on earth. There is need to tremble with fear in the presence of this Holy God. This passage shows that there is a great gap of understanding between who God really is and who we take Him to be. This realisation should affect our entire being and our posture before Him.

Coming to God’s presence prepared to listen all through does not mean that we should not speak at all in His presence; it does not mean that we should not bring our troubles, needs, petitions and prayer requests before Him. What it means is that we must not speak rashly; we must speak in His presence with utmost care and with reverence deserving of the King of kings and the Lord of lords. When we are before the Almighty God, we should offer acknowledgement that He is the Author and Finisher of our faith, our Maker and the Creator of the heavens and earth.

Children of God must be careful not to think that the God of the Old Testament is different from the God of the New Testament. There is the tendency for 21st century Christians to view God from the perspective of Jesus: born in a manger, the son of Mary and Joseph, walked among men, was hungry and ate the food of men, was tired and had to rest, was beaten and tortured by men for sins He didn’t commit, died and rose again on the third day. Contemporary Christians seem to be carried away with the image of Jesus as the Son of Man that they completely forget that He is also the Lion of the Tribe of Judah and the King of Glory. The presence of God should be approached with much humility and reverence. God is happy with us when we offer Him the veneration, honour and adoration that He deserves. As you begin to honour God anew, He will manifest His power in your life mightily in Jesus’ Name.

Prayer Point:
Father, please make me conscious of who You are; please show me Your glory.

How to Experience Divine Turnaround

Divine Turnaround (Summary)

          The topic for today is “Divine Turnaround”, Psalm 126: 1- 6, 1st Chronicles 4: 9 & 10.

A time that it takes to complete a task or an assignment can be called a turnaround. Another way to look at ‘turnaround’ is when you have a complete change in opinion, in an attitude or a method. When there’s a complete reversal of a situation or a set of circumstances. When something bad is happening and there’s a complete reversal, then you say there’s a turnaround. Then a turnaround can also be associated with businesses, with finances, with economies.

Divine Turnaround therefore, we’ll narrow it to mean a complete reversal of a bad situation or a set of circumstances by God, because it is divine, or a sudden improvement or success in finance, in business or of a nation by the intervention of God.

There can be a turnaround also of a nation, like we know in 2nd Kings 7.

          The principles of divine turnaround:

  • Everybody, every business, every family, every nation has the potential for divine turnaround.
  • But not everybody, not every potential beneficiary will indeed experience a divine turnaround.
  • Even when somebody has a divine turnaround, you still have to do a lot of work to sustain it.
  • When God gives to His people and you remain in your place with God, you’ll keep that blessing forever.
  • Anyone or any institution that is not on its own ready for this divine turnaround will not get it.

What must we do to receive and retain God’s visitation called Divine Turnaround?

  • You must have faith in Him, Hebrews 11: 6.
  • You must trust Him.
  • You must remain in His presence.
  • You must surrender all to Him.
  • You must desire that divine turnaround.
  • You must shun sin.

Text: Proverbs 5:21

The passage for today is Proverbs 5:21. It says, “For the ways of a man are before the eyes of the Lord, and he watches all his paths.” This means that God is always watching us and he knows everything we do.

We should live our lives in a way that pleases God, knowing that he is always watching. We should not do anything that we would be ashamed of if God saw it.

We should also be thankful for God’s constant presence in our lives. He is always there to help us and guide us. We can trust him with our lives and know that he will never leave us or forsake us.

Let us live our lives for God’s glory, knowing that he is always watching and that he loves us very much.

Introduction: Let us intercede as people will begin journeying to the Redemption city for this year Holy Ghost Congress

1. Bless the Lord O my soul and all that is within me. Bless His Holy name. Psa 103: 1

2. Thank God for a new day and for the salvation of your soul

3. Let us bless the Lord. Truly; it has been of the LORD’S mercies that we were not consumed, because his compassions have not failed us. Lam 3:22 Psa 34:1

4. Father; thank you for your usual protection over your children in the past Congresses. Deuteronomy 31:6

5. Father, as your people travel for the Holy Ghost Congress, let your presence go with them in Jesus’ name. Exodus 33:14-15

6. As they travel along the way, cause their enemies to be as still as stones in Jesus’ name. Exodus 15:16

7. Father; guide and lead your people beside the still waters in Jesus’ name. Psalm 23:2

8. Father, as many as will be coming for this year’s Holy Ghost Congress, protect their coming and going in Jesus’ name. Psalm 121:8

9. Father, protect all your children from every danger on the road, air, rail and water in Jesus’ name. Psalm 121:7

12. Father, throughout Holy Ghost Congress and beyond, be with your children to protect them in Jesus’ name. Jeremiah 1:8

13. Father by your grace and mercy, there shall be no loss of lives before, during and after the congress in Jesus’ name. Luke 21:18

14. Father, be around your people throughout the year and beyond in Jesus’ name. Psalm 125:2

15. Oh God, please lead and guide your people with your pillar of cloud in the day and fire in the night in Jesus’ name. Exodus 13:21-22

I BELIEVE

I believe that the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, to make me what God wants me to be in this year of my enlargement, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

WEEKLY PROPHETIC CONFESSION

PROPHETIC EXHORTATION AND DECLARATIONS

Beloved, the presence of God will go with you; in your going out and in your coming in, His presence will never leave you nor forsake you, in the name of Jesus Christ.

The presence of God is the joy, shadow, light, power, love, peace, goodness reverence, glory, honour, mercy, grace, fear, awesomeness, favour, help, wisdom, understanding, riches, and creations of God. Hallelujah!

The presence of God is the assurance of God’s protection, safety, security, preservation, comfort, empowerment, happiness, gladness, and strength in difficult times by the fire of God.

We must rise up and begin to covet the presence of God, for without His presence we can do nothing.

Declare the following:

Today, I covet the presence of God for me and my family. I am in His presence, His fire surrounds me. I am in my season of joy and gladness, in the name of Jesus Christ.

I prophesy upon myself and my family that throughout

this year and beyond, the presence of God  will journey with us; His presence will not depart from us; His presence will announce us; promote us; advertise us; endorse us; validate us; protect us; guide us; lead us; direct us; teach us; instruct us ; mentor us; coach us; comfort us; strengthen us ; empower us; secure us; prosper us; energise us; equip us; and counsel us, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

I declare, all your declarations will end in testimonies, you will receive your answers, you will receive your evidence, in the name of Jesus Christ.

This year, because of the presence of God, like Esther you will receive favour; like Jephthah you will recover your lost inheritances; like Obededom within 90 days you will become a multi billionaire; like Joseph you will prosper;  like King David you will triumph over the lions, over the bears, over that Goliath, over that Saul, and receive the crown of your Kingship, in the name of Jesus Christ.

The Lord Jesus Is The Way Out Of Every Unpleasant Situation That Anyone Can Ever Experience. He Is The Way Out Of Sorrow, Sickness, Death And Embarrassment. He Is Heaven’s Approved Lifeline To Those Who Are Sinking. In Any Negative Situation You Find Yourself, Jesus Christ Will Make A Way Out For You This Season.

Moreover, Besides Being The Way Out, Jesus Is Also The Way In. He Is The Way Into The Presence Of God. No Wonder He Told Thomas In John 14:6 That:
“…..I Am The Way, The Truth, And The Life: No Man Cometh Unto The Father, But By Me.”

One Place You Should Long To Be Often Is The Presence Of God. Every Time You Access God’s Presence, Something Good Comes Your Way. The More You Enter Into God’s Presence, The More He Causes His Will In Heaven To Prevail Over Your Situation Or Circumstance On Earth. As You Enter His Presence And Stay There, A Part Of His Glory Rubs Off On You; Covering Your Shame And Bringing You Joy And Laughter. God’s Presence Is The Place Where You Can Find All The Joy You Need. In Fact, Your Joy Is Made Full In His Presence (Psalm 16:11). These Are Just Some Of The Many Reasons Why You Should Ensure You Access God’s Presence Daily.

To Go Into The Presence Of Earthly Kings And Presidents Is Not An Easy Thing. By The Grace Of God, I Have Had The Opportunity Of Visiting A Few Heads Of States And Presidents Of Nations. The First Time I Visited The Head Of A Particular African Nation, It Was A Very Instructive Experience. I Had To Go Through Multiple Security Checks. At The Point Of Entry, There Was Security Check. At The General Reception, There Was Another Security Check. At The Special Reception, Another Check. Getting To The Presidential Reception, I Underwent The Final Screening Before Accessing The Presence Of This Head Of State. After Going Through All These Checks, I Concluded That It Was Much Easier Getting Into God’s Presence.

Thank God That All I Have To Do To Get Into The Presence Of God Is To Say “In The Name Of Jesus”. How Often Do You Enter Into God’s Presence With Boldness By The Blood Of Jesus? We Are Encouraged To Do So In Hebrews 4:16:
“Let Us Therefore Come Boldly Unto The Throne Of Grace, That We May Obtain Mercy, And Find Grace To Help In Time Of Need.”

It Is Always A Great Experience To Be In God’s Presence, Because The Fullness Of Joy And Everlasting Pleasures Reside There. Psalm 16:11b Says:
“…In Thy Presence Is Fulness Of Joy; At Thy Right Hand There Are Pleasures For Evermore.”
However, The State Of Our Lives Determines What We Derive From God’s Presence. According To Psalm 68:2-3, While The Righteous Receive Joy In God’s Presence, The Enemies Of God Or Those With Wicked Schemes Will Melt Like Wax Before The Fire Of His Presence. While The Fire Of God’s Presence Protects His Own, It Acts An Incinerating Agent Against The Enemies Of God’s People. As You Live In Obedience To God From Now On, The Fire Of God That Protects You Will Destroy Your Enemies In Jesus’ Name.

With This Knowledge Of The Potency Of God’s Presence, Every Child Of God Should Desire At All Times To Be In His Presence. Nevertheless, You Don’t Enter The Presence Of A King Just Anyhow; There Are Certain Protocols You Must Follow. How Much More, When Entering The Presence Of The King Of Kings? How Then Do We Enter God’s Presence? Going Into The Presence Of God Is Not About Going Into A Place Of Worship; It Is About Being Taken Up Into His Presence, Or His Presence Coming Down To You, Through Heartfelt Praise And Worship. In A Gathering Filled With God’s Glory, It Is Possible That Some People There Will Not Have Access To God’s Presence Due To Their Nonchalant And Standoffish Attitude. From Our Bible Reading, We Understand That If You Truly Want To Enter Into God’s Presence, Particularly If You Want To Benefit From The Pleasures At His Right Hand, You Must Have Clean Hands And A Pure Heart. In Other Words, Entering The Church Auditorium Is Just Not Enough; Likewise, Praising And Worshipping God With The Lips Is Just Not Enough. This Is So Because When God’s Presence Descends Upon An Assembly, God Will Ask His Angels To Carry Out A Personality Check On Everyone Present, To Know Those Who Have Met With His Conditions, And Only Those Found Worthy Will Be The Beneficiaries Of His Presence That Day. Beloved, You Must Have Clean Hands. Your Hands Must Not Be Tarnished With The Blood Of Anyone Or With The Filth Of A Foul Means Of Livelihood. Your Hands Must Have Been Washed By The Blood Of Jesus For Them To Be Deemed Clean. Similarly, Your Thoughts, Plans And Motives Must Be Pure Before You Can Enter Into God’s Presence. Prepare Yourself And Ensure You Follow Heaven’s Protocol Whenever You Want To Access The Presence Of God.

2 Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few.
3 For a dream cometh through the multitude of business; and a fool’s voice is known by multitude of words.

Message

The Bible in Ecclesiastes 5 admonishes us on what our attitude should be when we go to the house of God. We are advised to watch our carriage to prevent causing distractions. We are counselled that while in the house of God, we should be more ready to hear than to give the sacrifice of fools. Out of fear and reverence for the Almighty God, we are admonished to keep our mouth shut and speak sparingly. In fact the Bible used the term “sacrifice of fools” as a reference to careless chatter made in the presence of the Most High God. Here, the Bible reminds us that our God is in heaven while our place is here on earth. There is need to tremble with fear in the presence of this Holy God. This passage shows that there is a great gap of understanding between who God really is and who we take Him to be. This realisation should affect our entire being and our posture before Him.

Coming to God’s presence prepared to listen all through does not mean that we should not speak at all in His presence; it does not mean that we should not bring our troubles, needs, petitions and prayer requests before Him. What it means is that we must not speak rashly; we must speak in His presence with utmost care and with reverence deserving of the King of kings and the Lord of lords. When we are before the Almighty God, we should offer acknowledgement that He is the Author and Finisher of our faith, our Maker and the Creator of the heavens and earth.

Children of God must be careful not to think that the God of the Old Testament is different from the God of the New Testament. There is the tendency for 21st century Christians to view God from the perspective of Jesus: born in a manger, the son of Mary and Joseph, walked among men, was hungry and ate the food of men, was tired and had to rest, was beaten and tortured by men for sins He didn’t commit, died and rose again on the third day. Contemporary Christians seem to be carried away with the image of Jesus as the Son of Man that they completely forget that He is also the Lion of the Tribe of Judah and the King of Glory. The presence of God should be approached with much humility and reverence. God is happy with us when we offer Him the veneration, honour and adoration that He deserves. As you begin to honour God anew, He will manifest His power in your life mightily in Jesus’ Name.

Prayer Point:
Father, please make me conscious of who You are; please show me Your glory.

In God’s Presence For All Eternity!

I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.

Revelation 21:22, NIV.

The Greek word for “temple” is, in this case, the same word used for the “Most Holy Place,” which was the inner sanctuary of the ancient Israelites‘ tabernacle, and later the temple. It was the place where God was said to dwell. The high priest could only enter once a year to sprinkle the sacrificed animals’ blood on the mercy seat in order to make atonement for the sin of God’s people. The Book of Hebrews teaches us that today “we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body” (Hebrews. 10:19-20, NIV). In other words, through the death and broken body of Jesus Christ on the Cross, you and I have been given access to the presence of God when we approach Him by faith in prayer.

In our heavenly home, we will not just have occasional access to the presence of God; we will live in God’s presence! For all eternity!
