Hymn 187. Jesus Is Coming With Joy to the Sky

John_5-28: Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
John_5-28: Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,

1:

Jesus is coming with joy to the sky

Oh happy day! Oh happy day

Then all who love Him shall heaven-ward fly

Oh happy day! happy day

Upward shall fly to the Lord in the air

Together with Jesus we all shall be there

Far from the earth, and from sorrow and care

Oh, happy day! happy day

2:

Parents, and children shall then again meet

Oh happy day! Oh happy day

Sisters and brothers, oh, it will be sweet

Oh happy day! happy day

We miss’d them on earth, to Jesus they went

We love them as ever, their absence lament

Soon we shall meet them, and then be content

Oh happy day! happy day

3:

Are we all ready, should Jesus now call

Oh happy day! Oh, happy day

Would each one answer, the great and the small

Oh, happy day! happy day

We long to rise up and with Thee to be

Thy face, blessed Jesus, our Saviour to see

Would you then dear children, sing sweetly with me

Oh, happy day! happy day

4:

Some will stay weeping unable to sing

Oh happy day! oh happy day

Yet all may rejoice their glad praises bring

Oh happy day! Happy day

For Jesus still waits, He tarries that we

May trust in His name, and thus ready may be

when, brightly beaming, His glory we see

Oh, happy day! Happy day.

Thank You Jesus,

Salvation Prayer

If you don’t Know Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour and would like to accept him into your life as your personal Lord and Saviour, Please say this prayer:

Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from You. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward You. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that Your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send Your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your Will for the rest of my life. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

Every Time You Give Big, God’s Vision Is Implanted In Your Heart

A rich man ran to Jesus one day, knelt down before Him and
asked, “….Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?”(Mark
10:17). The Lord told him to sell everything he had, give to the poor and be
His disciple. The Bible says, “…he (the rich man) was sad at the saying, and
went away grieved; for he had great possessions” (Mark 10:22). The problem
wasn’t that he had great possessions nor was it that Jesus didn’t want him; for
the Bible did tell us that Jesus loved him (Mark 10:21). He was bound by his
wealth and possessions. He couldn’t be the thirteenth disciple because he
couldn’t release what he had.

To be a disciple takes one very essential quality: you must
be a giver. The disciples of Jesus were givers. The disciples were also wealthy
men, for they were all successful in their chosen careers before they met
Jesus. This was why they were astonished when Jesus said, “It is easier for a
camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the
kingdom of God” (Mark 10:25). However, they weren’t held bound by their
possessions; they were mega – givers.

When you study the lives of the disciples, you’ll discover
they didn’t only give of their substance alone, they also gave their efforts,
talents, kindness, love – everything. You need to realize that God sees
everything you give to Him. He doesn’t look at the outward appearance of
things; He looks at the heart.

There are different kinds of givers. There are reluctant
givers and cheerful givers, the latter lavish his love on the Lord through his
giving; the former, however gives in pinches. Accordingly, the one who gives
bountifully from a cheerful and willing heart gets bountifully and the one who
gives in pinches gets in pinches.

Every time you give big, God’s vision is implanted in your
heart. So, stop giving to God as though He’s not seeing you. When you have an
opportunity to give, be excited for every opportunity to give is an opportunity
to receive. You may receive in the form of healing, deliverance, abundance or
whatever the need in your life is.

CONFESSION

I AM A WILLING AND
CHEERFUL GIVER, FOR I HAVE THE NATURE OF GOD. THERE’S NOTHING THAT’S TOO BIG
FOR ME TO GIVE FOR MY GOD! MY HEAVENLY FATHER HAS BLESSED ME BEYOUND MEASURE.
AMEN
