My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. John 10:27, NKJV

My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

John 10:27, NKJV

The Eastern shepherd of Jesus’ day raised his sheep primarily in the Judean uplands. The countryside was rocky, hilly, and creased with deep crevices and ravines. Patches of grass were sparse. So the shepherd had to establish a personal relationship with each sheep, nurturing its love and trust in order to lead it to where the path was the smoothest, the grass was the greenest, the water was the cleanest, and the nights were the safest. The shepherd always led the sheep. He knew their names, and when he called them, they recognized his voice and, followed him. When he stopped, the sheep huddled closely around him, pressing against his legs. Their personal relationship with him was based on his voice, which they knew and trusted.

The Bible describes our relationship with Jesus as being similar to the relationship between the Eastern shepherd and his sheep – a relationship based on the sound of His voice. And make no mistake about it, His voice is God‘s Word, the Holy Bible.

May GOD bless Nigeria, America and Israel and take care of us; May GOD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the LORD lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray!

Sermon And Prayer Points By Pastor E A Adeboye RCCG February 2013 Holy Ghost Service. Wonderful By Daddy G O

Wonderful Jesus, don’t let me leave here the same tonight.

-Wonderful Jesus, let Your wonders begin in my life tonight.

-Join your hand with someone and say Father, I’m with agreement with this Your child, give him/her wonderful victory in every area.

MESSAGE:-

The month of February is the month of fasting and praying, a time set aside by RCCG for waiting on God. Take it seriously because God says for those who will take the fasting and prayer serious, He will drive all the evil forces away from them.

TEXT: Isaiah 9:6
“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”

The word ‘Wonderful’ is the combination of two words ‘WONDER’ and ‘FULL’. Isaiah 9:6 says one of the names of Jesus is Wonderful meaning He is full of wonders.

Acts 2:22 talks about how God approved Jesus because of the miracles, signs and wonders He performed. Wonders are superior to miracles, they are a higher category of miracles. In the name that is above every other name, something more than miraculous will happen to you in Jesus name. Amen

There are so many wonderful things about Jesus.

His name is wonderful. The name of Jesus is the only name recognized in 3 realms. In heaven, on earth and beneath the earth. His name guarantees answers to prayer

His love is wonderful. John 15:13 says Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

His peace is wonderful. Philippians 4:7 makes us understand that His peace passes all understanding

His power is wonderful. Matt 28:18 says all power in heaven and earth as been given to Him.

The list is endless! His grace, joy, strength is wonderful.

When God heals someone from a disease it’s great but when a disease that is incurable becomes cured, it’s wonderful. In Mark 5:25-34, the bible tells us that the woman with the issue of blood had gone to many physicians who couldn’t solve her problem but when she came to Jesus, the incurable illness became curable. In the name that is above every other name, from this moment, you’ll be enjoying the miracles of God. Every impossible thing in your life will become possible in Jesus name. Amen!

Healing is good but when healing involves creative miracle, we call it wonderful. In John 9:1-7 the bible tells a story of a man that was born blind but when he had an encounter with Jesus, he was given brand new eyes. If you have a miracle that is creative, we call that wonderful!

Financial breakthrough is great, but when money doesn’t stop coming in that’s wonderful. The bible tells us in 1Kings 17:1-15 about the widow of Zarephath who made her last meal for the prophet and since that day her pot of oil never went dry. If we were to ask the widow what she said every morning she woke up to see her pots filled with oil, she probably would have said “wonderful”. Before the end of this year, when you look at your account from month to month you’ll be saying ‘Wonderful!” in Jesus name. Amen

When a barren woman gives birth to a child it’s great and calls for rejoicing but when a barren woman who has been mocked severally all of a sudden ends up with 6 children, it becomes wonderful! Hannah who had waited on the Lord for a child ended up with 6 children (1Sam 2:21).

Deliverance from an unclean spirit is great but when someone with a legion of demons is set free, that is wonderful! Mark 5:1-15. It doesn’t matter how many demons troubling you, in the name above every other name, you will be free tonight. Amen. For all those forces who thought they have captured you, by the time the see you next, they will say “wonderful!”

Raising the one who has just died takes a miracle like Jarius daughter, raising someone who is about to be buried takes a bigger miracle (Luke 7:11-15) but raising someone who has died and been buried for 4 days is the definition of wonderful (John 11:17). Those who were around when Lazarus came out of the tomb after four days would have been saying ‘wonderful’

Raising the dead is a miracle, when ones dead bones begin to raise the dead then it’s a greater miracle but when you consider Ezekiel 37:1-10, where the bible gives an account of how the words of a prophet raises dry bones, puts skin on them and then raises a mighty army from dry bones then that is wonderful! 2kings 13

In the name that is above every other name, every dry bone in your life will come back to life in Jesus name.

In every hopeless situation the wind of God must blow so that your life can turn around for good, it will blow and before this night is over, you’ll have reasons to shout ‘wonderful’

The God who can reverse the irreversible is alive to attend to your case tonight. Everything good in your life that has died will resurrect tonight in Jesus name! Amen.

The Lord says the one who sent sorrow to your house will come back to pick it up.

The Lord says this year even your doubts will not stop your sun from rising!

When God uses the devil to solve your problem, the miracle is called ‘wonderful!’. Every evil that has come into your home to cause any type of problem shall be uprooted in Jesus name. Amen

Killing a lion with mere hand is a miracle. Killing a bear is a greater miracle because a bear represents an enemy pretending to be a friend. In the name that is above every other name, every enemy pretending to be a friend will be exposed in Jesus name. Amen

However, killing a Goliath takes a kind of miracle called wonderful. This is because Goliath represents somebody who wants to stand between you and your destiny. Just as Goliath fell, anyone standing between you and your destiny will fall this year in Jesus name. Amen.

Anyone that says you won’t reach your goal this year in particular, the almighty God will uproot him/her in Jesus name. Amen

The Lord says just as the wall of Jericho fell, all your opponent will crumble one by one. Amen!

Changing your destiny for the better is great. In 1kings 19, Elijah’s destiny was changed from being a farmer to a prophet. Restoring your destiny is greater. In Exodus 3:1-15, Moses destiny to become the deliverer of Israel was restored. But when God looks down from heaven to transform the destiny of a man whose destiny had been truncated, we call that wonderful! In Numbers 3:9-11, God called Levi whose destiny had been crushed as a result of Jacob’s prayer on his death bed to draw closer and take the position of 1st born in Israel.

If your destiny had been tampered with, it will be fully restored tonight in Jesus name and you’ll go home shouting wonderful! Amen

In Acts 3:1-11,when the man who was born lame at the beautiful gate started to walk, people saw him and were amazed, he became a wonder but Peter’s shadow healing the sick was most wonderful.

When God performs wonders in your life it is wonderful, when He turns you into a wonder it is more wonderful but when He uses you to perform wonders is most wonderful!

You have been known for your many problems, God says you’ll be known for many testimonies. Amen!

God says your testimony will be ‘Once upon a time I was despised, now I’m an amazement.’

Very soon you’ll announce to your relatives ‘I told you Jesus never fails’

Who deserves wonders? For who will Jesus perform wonders?

Only those that are on the Lord’s side will experience God’s wonders.

In Exodus 32:25-26 bible says while Moses went up to get the commandment, the people pressured Aaron to create an idol they could worship. Moses got back angry, he stood by the gate and cried out ‘who is on the Lord’s side let him come to me’ then everyone from the tribe of Levi went to Moses.

God’s Gift of Eternal Life

Stained glass at St John the Baptist's Anglica...

God’s Gift of Eternal Life

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23).

Have you ever asked yourself what righteousness, by God’s standard, is? Romans 6:23 gives us an idea. Notice it doesn’t say, “One of the gifts of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Eternal life is not one of the gifts of God; it is THE Gift Of God. It encapsulates all the other gifts of God. When God gives you eternal life, it means you’ve got everything else.

In Romans 5:17, Paul declared, “For if by one man’s (Adam) offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.” Observe the term “the gift of righteousness.” It’s the same gift he referred to as “the gift of God” in Romans 6:23. This immediately lets us know righteousness is eternal life.

Eternal life doesn’t only mean an unending life where you live on forever. The English rendering didn’t have a better way to express it than to call it “eternal” or “everlasting” life, but it’s the life that God has as God. Now we’re made to understand that that life is righteousness. Righteousness is the nature of God that qualifies Him to be who He is. You can’t really know what’s right till God does or approves it, or what’s wrong till He says no to it. That’s because He’s the standard for measuring rightness; He is perfection personified.

Now, God’s life cannot fail or be wrong. It doesn’t know any defeat and cannot be put down or crack under any pressure. No wonder Paul says if you’ve received abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness—the very nature, life and character of God—you’ll reign in life. When you have and are fully conscious of the life of God, you can’t live any other way than to reign. It is what gives you the boldness to stand in the presence of God without guilt, inferiority, or condemnation, and also before satan and the cohorts of hell without fear but with authority and dominion, Hallelujah!

May GOD bless Nigeria, America and Israel and take care of us; May GOD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the LORD lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray!

Praying In The Spirit By Pastor Kenny Folarin. Daystar Christian Centre

Romans 8:26-27

God does not want us to run the Christian race with our human ability. To enjoy the blessings of God and to see the fulfilment of your destiny as a Christian, you need the help of the Holy Spirit. Praying in the spirit is an indispensable requirement for every Christian. The supernatural life is lived by engaging the supply of heaven in your life; so praying in the spirit enables you to download help and revelation from heaven. In this world, there are different voices fighting for your attention; praying in the spirit helps you tune your mind and heart to heaven’s frequency. To be able to do this effectively, you need to speak the language of the Spirit. It is the Spirit of God who knows everything and brings those things, which are beyond your imagination and comprehension, into existence. As a born again Christian, you can operate beyond human limitations by the help of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 2: 9-11). God is the only constant in this changing and uncertain world that we live in and it is only through your relationship with Him and your prayers that you have access to the supernatural and can get things done better and faster.

When you pray in the spirit, you gain access into realms which are beyond your human comprehension. Since we all have weaknesses, the Holy Spirit helps our infirmities and enables us to pray in line with God’s will. In your human capacity, you can only pray generally for your loved ones but when you pray in the Spirit, you can pray specifically and target precise points in their lives and circumstances.

Here are some of the benefits of praying in the spirit: First, the Holy Spirit helps you to pray accurately and in line with the will of God. He will sometimes prompt you to intercede for others and for situations when you least expect it. (Romans 8:27). Second, praying in the spirit gives you direct access to God and your prayer becomes a discussion between you and God which keeps the devil out of the conversation. The devil cannot comprehend your spiritual language and therefore cannot marshal his forces to stop your prayers (1 Corinthians 14: 1-2).  Third, you gain access to deep knowledge which your mind cannot ordinarily comprehend. You get a description of the spiritual realities that will happen in your physical life when you pray in the spirit. Fourth, your spiritual capacity is built up and your spiritual batteries are recharged. Whenever you feel emotions contrary to the joy of the Holy Ghost or you are unhappy and depressed, pray in the spirit and the heaviness will lift; you will become edified (Jude 20; 1Corinthians 14:4a).  Fifth, you get divinely inspired ideas and access to superior intelligence when you pray in the spirit (Ephesians 3:10 – 12; John 5: 19). The Holy Spirit is the only One who can change stagnant and dry circumstances for the better.

May GOD bless Nigeria, America and Israel and take care of us; May GOD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the LORD lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray!

Genesis 35. God blesses Jacob at Bethel

English: Jacob meets Rachael at the well

Genesis 35. God blesses Jacob at Bethel

1 And God said unto Jacob, Arise, go up to Bethel, and dwell there: and make there an altar unto God, that appeared unto thee when thou fleddest from the face of Esau thy brother. 2 Then Jacob said unto his household, and to all that were with him, Put away the strange gods that are among you, and be clean, and change your garments: 3 And let us arise, and go up to Bethel; and I will make there an altar unto God, who answered me in the day of my distress, and was with me in the way which I went. 4 And they gave unto Jacob all the strange gods which were in their hand, and all their earrings which were in their ears; and Jacob hid them under the oak which was by Shechem. 5 And they journeyed: and the terror of God was upon the cities that were round about them, and they did not pursue after the sons of Jacob.

6 So Jacob came to Luz, which is in the land of Canaan, that is, Bethel, he and all the people that were with him. 7 And he built there an altar, and called the place Elbethel: because there God appeared unto him, when he fled from the face of his brother. 8 But Deborah Rebekah’s nurse died, and she was buried beneath Bethel under an oak: and the name of it was called Allonbachuth. 9 And God appeared unto Jacob again, when he came out of Padanaram, and blessed him. 10 And God said unto him, Thy name is Jacob: thy name shall not be called any more Jacob, but Israel shall be thy name: and he called his name Israel. 11 And God said unto him, I am God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall be of thee, and kings shall come out of thy loins; 12 And the land which I gave Abraham and Isaac, to thee I will give it, and to thy seed after thee will I give the land. 13 And God went up from him in the place where he talked with him. 14 And Jacob set up a pillar in the place where he talked with him, even a pillar of stone: and he poured a drink offering thereon, and he poured oil thereon. 15 And Jacob called the name of the place where God spake with him, Bethel.

16 And they journeyed from Bethel; and there was but a little way to come to Ephrath: and Rachel travailed, and she had hard labour. 17 And it came to pass, when she was in hard labour, that the midwife said unto her, Fear not; thou shalt have this son also. 18 And it came to pass, as her soul was in departing, (for she died) that she called his name Benoni: but his father called him Benjamin. 19 And Rachel died, and was buried in the way to Ephrath, which is Bethlehem. 20 And Jacob set a pillar upon her grave: that is the pillar of Rachel’s grave unto this day.

21 And Israel journeyed, and spread his tent beyond the tower of Edar. 22 And it came to pass, when Israel dwelt in that land, that Reuben went and lay with Bilhah his father’s concubine: and Israel heard it. Now the sons of Jacob were twelve: 23 The sons of Leah; Reuben, Jacob’s firstborn, and Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Zebulun: 24 The sons of Rachel; Joseph, and Benjamin: 25 And the sons of Bilhah, Rachel’s handmaid; Dan, and Naphtali: 26 And the sons of Zilpah, Leah’s handmaid; Gad, and Asher: these are the sons of Jacob, which were born to him in Padanaram. 27 And Jacob came unto Isaac his father unto Mamre, unto the city of Arbah, which is Hebron, where Abraham and Isaac sojourned. 28 And the days of Isaac were an hundred and fourscore years. 29 And Isaac gave up the ghost, and died, and was gathered unto his people, being old and full of days: and his sons Esau and Jacob buried him.

May GOD bless Nigeria, America and Israel and take care of us; May GOD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the LORD lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

Genesis 34. The rape of Dinah

Stained glass at St John the Baptist's Anglica...

Genesis 34.  The rape of Dinah

1 And Dinah the daughter of Leah, which she bare unto Jacob, went out to see the daughters of the land. 2 And when Shechem the son of Hamor the Hivite, prince of the country, saw her, he took her, and lay with her, and defiled her. 3 And his soul clave unto Dinah the daughter of Jacob, and he loved the damsel, and spake kindly unto the damsel. 4 And Shechem spake unto his father Hamor, saying, Get me this damsel to wife. 5 And Jacob heard that he had defiled Dinah his daughter: now his sons were with his cattle in the field: and Jacob held his peace until they were come.

6 And Hamor the father of Shechem went out unto Jacob to commune with him. 7 And the sons of Jacob came out of the field when they heard it: and the men were grieved, and they were very wroth, because he had wrought folly in Israel in lying with Jacob’s daughter; which thing ought not to be done. 8 And Hamor communed with them, saying, The soul of my son Shechem longeth for your daughter: I pray you give her him to wife. 9 And make ye marriages with us, and give your daughters unto us, and take our daughters unto you. 10 And ye shall dwell with us: and the land shall be before you; dwell and trade ye therein, and get you possessions therein. 11 And Shechem said unto her father and unto her brethren, Let me find grace in your eyes, and what ye shall say unto me I will give. 12 Ask me never so much dowry and gift, and I will give according as ye shall say unto me: but give me the damsel to wife. 13 And the sons of Jacob answered Shechem and Hamor his father deceitfully, and said, because he had defiled Dinah their sister: 14 And they said unto them, We cannot do this thing, to give our sister to one that is uncircumcised; for that were a reproach unto us: 15 But in this will we consent unto you: If ye will be as we be, that every male of you be circumcised; 16 Then will we give our daughters unto you, and we will take your daughters to us, and we will dwell with you, and we will become one people. 17 But if ye will not hearken unto us, to be circumcised; then will we take our daughter, and we will be gone.

18 And their words pleased Hamor, and Shechem Hamor’s son. 19 And the young man deferred not to do the thing, because he had delight in Jacob’s daughter: and he was more honourable than all the house of his father. 20 And Hamor and Shechem his son came unto the gate of their city, and communed with the men of their city, saying, 21 These men are peaceable with us; therefore let them dwell in the land, and trade therein; for the land, behold, it is large enough for them; let us take their daughters to us for wives, and let us give them our daughters. 22 Only herein will the men consent unto us for to dwell with us, to be one people, if every male among us be circumcised, as they are circumcised. 23 Shall not their cattle and their substance and every beast of theirs be ours? only let us consent unto them, and they will dwell with us. 24 And unto Hamor and unto Shechem his son hearkened all that went out of the gate of his city; and every male was circumcised, all that went out of the gate of his city.

25 And it came to pass on the third day, when they were sore, that two of the sons of Jacob, Simeon and Levi, Dinah’s brethren, took each man his sword, and came upon the city boldly, and slew all the males. 26 And they slew Hamor and Shechem his son with the edge of the sword, and took Dinah out of Shechem’s house, and went out. 27 The sons of Jacob came upon the slain, and spoiled the city, because they had defiled their sister. 28 They took their sheep, and their oxen, and their asses, and that which was in the city, and that which was in the field, 29 And all their wealth, and all their little ones, and their wives took they captive, and spoiled even all that was in the house. 30 And Jacob said to Simeon and Levi, Ye have troubled me to make me to stink among the inhabitants of the land, among the Canaanites and the Perizzites: and I being few in number, they shall gather themselves together against me, and slay me; and I shall be destroyed, I and my house. 31 And they said, Should he deal with our sister as with an harlot?

May GOD bless Nigeria, America and Israel and take care of us; May GOD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the LORD lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

Genesis 32. Jacob Prepares To Meet Esau

1 And Jacob went on his way, and the angels of God met him. 2 And when Jacob saw them, he said, This is God’s host: and he called the name of that place Mahanaim.

3 And Jacob sent messengers before him to Esau his brother unto the land of Seir, the country of Edom. 4 And he commanded them, saying, Thus shall ye speak unto my lord Esau; Thy servant Jacob saith thus, I have sojourned with Laban, and stayed there until now: 5 And I have oxen, and asses, flocks, and menservants, and womenservants: and I have sent to tell my lord, that I may find grace in thy sight. 6 And the messengers returned to Jacob, saying, We came to thy brother Esau, and also he cometh to meet thee, and four hundred men with him. 7 Then Jacob was greatly afraid and distressed: and he divided the people that was with him, and the flocks, and herds, and the camels, into two bands; 8 And said, If Esau come to the one company, and smite it, then the other company which is left shall escape.

9 And Jacob said, O God of my father Abraham, and God of my father Isaac, the LORD which saidst unto me, Return unto thy country, and to thy kindred, and I will deal well with thee: 10 I am not worthy of the least of all the mercies, and of all the truth, which thou hast showed unto thy servant; for with my staff I passed over this Jordan; and now I am become two bands. 11 Deliver me, I pray thee, from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau: for I fear him, lest he will come and smite me, and the mother with the children. 12 And thou saidst, I will surely do thee good, and make thy seed as the sand of the sea, which cannot be numbered for multitude.

13 And he lodged there that same night; and took of that which came to his hand a present for Esau his brother; 14 Two hundred she goats, and twenty he goats, two hundred ewes, and twenty rams, 15 Thirty milch camels with their colts, forty kine, and ten bulls, twenty she asses, and ten foals. 16 And he delivered them into the hand of his servants, every drove by themselves; and said unto his servants, Pass over before me, and put a space betwixt drove and drove. 17 And he commanded the foremost, saying, When Esau my brother meeteth thee, and asketh thee, saying, Whose art thou? and whither goest thou? and whose are these before thee? 18 Then thou shalt say, They be thy servant Jacob’s; it is a present sent unto my lord Esau: and, behold, also he is behind us. 19 And so commanded he the second, and the third, and all that followed the droves, saying, On this manner shall ye speak unto Esau, when ye find him. 20 And say ye moreover, Behold, thy servant Jacob is behind us. For he said, I will appease him with the present that goeth before me, and afterward I will see his face; peradventure he will accept of me. 21 So went the present over before him: and himself lodged that night in the company. 22 And he rose up that night, and took his two wives, and his two womenservants, and his eleven sons, and passed over the ford Jabbok. 23 And he took them, and sent them over the brook, and sent over that he had.

24 And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day. 25 And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob’s thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him. 26 And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me. 27 And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob. 28 And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed. 29 And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there. 30 And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved. 31 And as he passed over Penuel the sun rose upon him, and he halted upon his thigh. 32 Therefore the children of Israel eat not of the sinew which shrank, which is upon the hollow of the thigh, unto this day: because he touched the hollow of Jacob’s thigh in the sinew that shrank.

The Power of Your Expectations Of God‘s Glory

“For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off!” (Proverbs 23:18).

To have an expectation means to put your trust in God and establish in your heart that no matter the situation you’re faced with right now, you will not feel confused, helpless and hopeless. When you are expectant, you look forward to a positive change in that situation because you’re a believer and all things are possible unto you. Amen!

I Will Lift Up Mine Eyes Unto The Hills, From Whence Cometh My Help. My Help Cometh From The LORD, Which Made Heaven And Earth (Psalm 121:1-2)

I Will Lift Up Mine Eyes Unto The Hills, From Whence Cometh My Help. My Help Cometh From The LORD, Which Made Heaven And Earth (Psalm 121:1-2)

GOD WANTS TO HELP YOU! PLEASE DON’T HINDER HIM!

Your very first step to the top is to have the God who cannot be compared with any other, who loves good and not evil, from whom originates success, creates good things and gives the good life. But don’t settle with just having Him, let Him be your mentor, your daily guide, your inspiration, the keeper of your vine and your source of supply. God cannot do much for your success without your cooperation, and when you continually seek Him, you can never fail.

God’s way is always up and never down. He never encourages a low, backward or retrogressive life. Instead, He warns against it. Paul said, “….this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before” (Philippians 3:13). You must keep looking unto Jesus, The Author and Finisher of your faith. Be like Abraham, who kept looking for a city whose builder and maker is God (Hebrews 11:10). When you look to God, you see solutions, you see answered prayers, you receive visions and get to know Him better.

God didn’t bring you this far to forget you. He has every detail about you. Not only does He want to be identified with you, He also wants to be responsible for your success and progress in life. He said to David, “I have been with thee whithersoever  thou has walked, and have cut off all thine enemies from before thee, and have made thee a name like the name of the great men that are in the earth” (1 Chronicles 17:8).  David would have been the only one to hold back God’s hand through disregard of His Word, but he chose God above everything else. God has the best plan to make you a success as long as your heart is turned to His Word. Recognize His leading in your life and follow His directions. You can only find yourself at the top. Amen!

May GOD bless Nigeria, America and Israel and take care of us; May GOD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the LORD lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

God Bless All Who Put Into Practice What His Word Says!

But the man who looks intently into thr perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it – he will be blessed in what he does (James 1:25)

Many people agree with a sermon or a Scriputre, but they don’t apply it in their everyday life, so nothing changes. They think that just because they agree with the Word, it should bring change into their lives.

But change doesn’t happen automatically; a person has to be a doer of the Word, not a hearer only. Jesus said, “Keep awake (give strict attention, be cautious and active) and watch and pray, that you may not come into temptation. The Spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak” (Matthew 26:41).

Every time you have an opportunity to believe God for something, you will have a temptation to give up on it. Pray that you will overcome temptation when it comes. Amen!

May GOD bless Nigeria, America and Israel and take care of us; May GOD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the LORD lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

Genesis 15. God’s Covenant With Abram

1 After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.

2 And Abram said, Lord GOD, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus? 3 And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir. 4 And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir. 5 And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be. 6 And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.

7 And he said unto him, I am the LORD that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it. 8 And he said, Lord GOD, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it? 9 And he said unto him, Take me an heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon. 10 And he took unto him all these, and divided them in the midst, and laid each piece one against another: but the birds divided he not. 11 And when the fowls came down upon the carcases, Abram drove them away.

12 And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him. 13 And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years; 14 And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance. 15 And thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age. 16 But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full.

17 And it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces. 18 In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates: 19 The Kenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites, 20 And the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Rephaims, 21 And the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.

May GOD bless Nigeria, America and Israel and take care of us; May GOD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the LORD lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

Genesis 12. God’s Call To Abram

Genesis 12. God’s Call To Abram

1 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will show thee: 2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: 3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

4 So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran. 5 And Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother’s son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran; and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan; and into the land of Canaan they came.

6 And Abram passed through the land unto the place of Sichem, unto the plain of Moreh. And the Canaanite was then in the land. 7 And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the LORD, who appeared unto him. 8 And he removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent, having Bethel on the west, and Hai on the east: and there he builded an altar unto the LORD, and called upon the name of the LORD. 9 And Abram journeyed, going on still toward the south.

10 And there was a famine in the land: and Abram went down into Egypt to sojourn there; for the famine was grievous in the land. 11 And it came to pass, when he was come near to enter into Egypt, that he said unto Sarai his wife, Behold now, I know that thou art a fair woman to look upon: 12 Therefore it shall come to pass, when the Egyptians shall see thee, that they shall say, This is his wife: and they will kill me, but they will save thee alive. 13 Say, I pray thee, thou art my sister: that it may be well with me for thy sake; and my soul shall live because of thee.

14 And it came to pass, that, when Abram was come into Egypt, the Egyptians beheld the woman that she was very fair. 15 The princes also of Pharaoh saw her, and commended her before Pharaoh: and the woman was taken into Pharaoh’s house. 16 And he entreated Abram well for her sake: and he had sheep, and oxen, and he asses, and menservants, and maidservants, and she asses, and camels. 17 And the LORD plagued Pharaoh and his house with great plagues because of Sarai Abram’s wife. 18 And Pharaoh called Abram, and said, What is this that thou hast done unto me? why didst thou not tell me that she was thy wife? 19 Why saidst thou, She is my sister? so I might have taken her to me to wife: now therefore behold thy wife, take her, and go thy way. 20 And Pharaoh commanded his men concerning him: and they sent him away, and his wife, and all that he had.

Trust God‘s Goodness

He will wipe every tear from their eyes.

Revelation 21:4, NIV

One day God will call us forth from the dead, and we will rise again! Praise God! Praise God! Praise God! All of our suffering will be over, and God Himself “‘will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.’ He who was seated on the throne said . . . , ‘Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true'” (Rev. 21:4-5, NIV).

When you don’t understand why, just trust Him!

Trust His heart! Trust His purpose!

Trust His goodness!

Trust His plan to be bigger than yours!

Trust Him because . . . God is enough

May GOD bless Nigeria, America and Israel and take care of us; May GOD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the LORD lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

You Can Live Above Sickness!

The human body was formed by God in a way that nothing could harm it. Man was made to live long and free of sickness, disease of any kind or anything that hurts. However, Adam’s fall introduced death into the fabric of everything in the world. “Death” does not only imply the cessation of life; it also means “to fail” “to be damaged” and to “fade away”.

Thus, Adam’s fall introduced failure and damage to the world. Man, who was created in God’s image, could now fall sick. His heart, blood, liver, kidney etc, could now fail. When Jesus Christ came however, He defeated the devil and his cohorts and seized the keys of hell and death from them.

The Bible says in 1 John 3:8, “for this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.” After He destroyed the hold of sin and death over your life, He then declared, “…..sin shall not have dominion over you” (Romans 6:14)! Meaning therefore that sin and all its negative effects such as sickness, failure, poverty, and death ought not to have any power over you!

The LORD Jesus Christ has given us the victory over the enemy. The reason some people are still living in bondage to the devil is lack of knowledge. God said “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6). Refuse to be in bondage to sickness, disease or the devil. You can change that negative situation by stirring up the power of The Holy Spirit in you. The more of the power of The Holy Spirit you stir up by speaking in other tongues, the less of the things of this world that will be able to manifest in your life. Amen!

May GOD bless Nigeria, America and Israel and take care of us; May GOD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the LORD lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

Pray For Lasting Peace In Nigeria!

Pray For Lasting Peace In Nigeria!

….The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man make tremendous power available (dynamic in its working) (James 5:16 AMP).

From our opening scripture it’s evident that you can change anything through prayers, because the divine power necessary to cause that change is in you; it was deposited in you the moment you received the Holy Spirit into your life: “but ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you…” (Acts 1:8). Through prayers, we can activate the power of God and effect changes in the realm of the Spirit. We can bring that power to bear on situations and circumstances we want changed.

For example, we can put a stop to the recurrent spate of violence and wanton destruction of lives and properties as experienced lately in the northern region by the Boko Haram Sect and kidnapping in other parts of the country. Through our effectual, fervent prayers we can forbid any further crisis in these regions and implant lasting peace, we’ve been mandated to do this: “And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the LORD for it; for in the peace therefore shall ye have peace” (Jeremiah 29:7).

Consequently, the onus is on you to seek the peace of the entire country. You’re to pray to the LORD for it. You should intervene in prayer today, and for as long as it takes for peace to mantle the country and rule the hearts of the citizens. Pray fervently in other tongues and declare that God’s angels of peace are released into every hitherto troubled regions in Nigeria to cause the peace of God to garrison the hearts of men and women domiciled therein.

With authoritative words, rebuke satanic forces and break the stronghold of evil, wickedness and violence over our great country Nigeria. Declare that satan’s dominion over those in political offices and other positions of authority is broken; therefore his maneuvering acts and manipulative tendencies to foment violence through them is thwarted.

Set yourself to pray like this often – earnestly, fervently, passionately and intensely for our country Nigeria, and there’ll surely be greater peace and prosperity within our borders. Amen!

May GOD bless Nigeria, America and Israel and take care of us; May GOD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the LORD lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

By Your Faith You Too Can Do Great Things In Your World Today!

RULE YOUR WORLD!

And what shall I more say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets: Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wronght righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions (Hebrews 11:32-33).

As Christians, we ought to apply our faith in God’s Word to deal with situations and challenges. In the faith’s hall of fame, the Bible talks about certain men and women who through their faith performed great feats for the kingdom of God (Hebrews 11:32-33). These apostles of faith subdued kingdoms and did supernatural things in their time; they ruled their world!

The Bible talked about how they wrought righteousness; meaning when others conformed to error, they stood their grounds for the truth and prevailed. They were the children of Issachar who the bible says had an understanding of the time (1 Chronicles 12:32).

By your faith, you too can do great things in your world today. You can work righteousness and breathe life back into situations that were hitherto dead. Through your faith, you revive that business that’s been grounded! You can perform so well in your business or career that the world will marvel at you. Faith is your currency; rule your world with it! Amen!

May GOD bless Nigeria, America and Israel and take care of us; May GOD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the LORD lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

Genesis 9. God’s Covenant With Noah

Genesis 9. God’s Covenant With Noah

1 And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. 2 And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered. 3 Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things. 4 But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat. 5 And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man’s brother will I require the life of man. 6 Whoso sheddeth man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man. 7 And you, be ye fruitful, and multiply; bring forth abundantly in the earth, and multiply therein.

8And God spake unto Noah, and to his sons with him, saying, 9 And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you; 10 And with every living creature that is with you, of the fowl, of the cattle, and of every beast of the earth with you; from all that go out of the ark, to every beast of the earth. 11 And I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.

12 And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: 13 I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. 14 And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud: 15 And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh. 16 And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth. 17 And God said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.

18And the sons of Noah, that went forth of the ark, were Shem, and Ham, and Japheth: and Ham is the father of Canaan. 19 These are the three sons of Noah: and of them was the whole earth overspread. 20 And Noah began to be an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard: 21 And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent. 22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without. 23 And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father’s nakedness.

24 And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him. 25 And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren. 26 And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant. 27 God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.

28 And Noah lived after the flood three hundred and fifty years. 29 And all the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty years: and he died.
