1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. 2 Receive us; we have wronged no man, we have corrupted no man, we have defrauded no man. 3 I speak not this to condemn you: for I have said before, that ye are in our hearts to die and live with you. 4 Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying of you: I am filled with comfort, I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulation.

5 For, when we were come into Macedonia, our flesh had no rest, but we were troubled on every side; without were fightings, within were fears. 6 Nevertheless God, that comforteth those that are cast down, comforted us by the coming of Titus; 7 And not by his coming only, but by the consolation wherewith he was comforted in you, when he told us your earnest desire, your mourning, your fervent mind toward me; so that I rejoiced the more. 8 For though I made you sorry with a letter, I do not repent, though I did repent: for I perceive that the same epistle hath made you sorry, though it were but for a season. 9 Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing. 10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. 11 For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter.

12 Wherefore, though I wrote unto you, I did it not for his cause that had done the wrong, nor for his cause that suffered wrong, but that our care for you in the sight of God might appear unto you. 13 Therefore we were comforted in your comfort: yea, and exceedingly the more joyed we for the joy of Titus, because his spirit was refreshed by you all. 14 For if I have boasted any thing to him of you, I am not ashamed; but as we spake all things to you in truth, even so our boasting, which I made before Titus, is found a truth. 15 And his inward affection is more abundant toward you, whilst he remembereth the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling ye received him. 16 I rejoice therefore that I have confidence in you in all things.

1 We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain. 2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.) 3 Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed: 4 But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses, 5 In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings; 6 By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned, 7 By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left, 8 By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true; 9 As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed; 10 As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

11 O ye Corinthians, our mouth is open unto you, our heart is enlarged. 12 Ye are not straitened in us, but ye are straitened in your own bowels. 13 Now for a recompense in the same, (I speak as unto my children,) be ye also enlarged. 14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven: 3 If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. 4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life. 5 Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit. 6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: 7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) 8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. 9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him. 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. 11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.

12 For we commend not ourselves again unto you, but give you occasion to glory on our behalf, that ye may have somewhat to answer them which glory in appearance, and not in heart. 13 For whether we be beside ourselves, it is to God: or whether we be sober, it is for your cause. 14 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: 15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more. 17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. 21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

1 But I determined this with myself, that I would not come again to you in heaviness. 2 For if I make you sorry, who is he then that maketh me glad, but the same which is made sorry by me? 3 And I wrote this same unto you, lest, when I came, I should have sorrow from them of whom I ought to rejoice; having confidence in you all, that my joy is the joy of you all. 4 For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote unto you with many tears; not that ye should be grieved, but that ye might know the love which I have more abundantly unto you.

23 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: 24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. 25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. 26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do show the Lord’s death till he come. 27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. 28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. 29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. 30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. 31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. 32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world. 33 Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another. 34 And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come.

Bible Text: Isaiah 7:14 “Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.”

What is a sign? A sign is an evidence that what you claim to be is true. Pharaoh said in Exodus 5:1-2 that he didn’t know who God was and He wouldn’t let Israel go but in Exodus 12:29-32 , after God had shown Pharaoh a sign, He begged Israel to go. All the Pharaoh who said you will not go , God will show them a sign in Jesus name. Amen!

Also in Daniel 3:14-15, Nebuchadnezzar said if the three Hebrew boys did not bow down to his image, he will throw them into the fiery furnace and see which God will deliver them but in Daniel 3:24-29 after God showed him a sign, this same Nebuchadnezzar said there was no other God apart from the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. As God lives, before the end of the month, those who are asking “where is your God?” will begin to say “there is no God like your God” in Jesus name. Amen

What is wonder? Someone once said a wonder is that thing that happens that makes you wonder. A wonder is a miracle so big that makes your mouth fall open involuntarily when it happens. In Acts 3:1-10 when the man who has been lame for 40 yrs suddenly began to walk, leap and praise God, everybody in the church began to look at him in amazement.

When God said He will give a sign and that a virgin will give birth to a son, He was indirectly saying He would make the impossible become possible! By the grace of God, all the things that seem impossible in your life will become possible in Jesus name. Amen. A virgin conceiving was very unscientific and that story still doesn’t go down well with science and medicine but our God can do wonders that surpass science.

When God said to Abraham in Gen 18:9-14 that a 90yrs old woman would have a son, Sarah laughed because deep inside her she thought that would be impossible but when our God hears the word impossible, He is eager to do something! Whenever someone tells you your case is impossible, begin to rejoice because there is a God who can make the impossible possible.

There are 3 aspects of a man’s life (1) Physical aspect (2) Social aspect (3) Spiritual aspects If you trust God in all these areas of your life and exercise faith, you’ll begin to experience signs and wonders.

The social aspect of a man includes his social status, financial capability, material wealth and possessions. In making a virgin conceive, God is showing that He is capable of bringing something out of nothing. There is a God who can bring water out of rocks according to Exo 17:1-6, He is the same God who can take the little you have and turn it plenty. Do you have a financial problem? Do you believe this God can solve your problem? If you believe, be it unto you according to your faith.

Almost every thing we do is controlled in the spiritual. Before anything happens in the physical, it happens in the spiritual! Before calamity fell upon Job, something happened in the spiritual, God and the devil had had a conversation. A blessing is a spiritual force, when people bless you, they are sending help your way in the spiritual realm. Just as a blessing is a spiritual force, a curse is also a spiritual force. The God who can make the barren conceive has the spiritual ability to control all things. Do you believe that whatever your spiritual problem the God of wonders can heal you? If yes, be it unto you according to your faith! Amen.

In Luke 1:31-37, When the angel told Mary she was the one God had revealed a long time ago to Isaiah and that even though she was a virgin she would have a son, Mary asked the angel how it would be fulfilled because she didn’t understand how it would happen . There are certain things that when God says He will do , you will be so overwhelmed wondering how God will make it happen but the bible tells us it is not by power nor by might but by the spirit of the Lord. The spirit of God will work wonders in your life in Jesus name, amen.

 

 Who Qualifies for signs and wonders?

Mary was a virgin not a harlot, she was pure and holy. People like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego who experienced signs and wonders kept themselves pure. HOLINESS IS THE MASTER KEY TO SIGNS AND WONDERS. Only those who live a holy and pure life will qualify for signs and wonders.

If you are living in sin, you cannot experience signs and wonders. Isaiah 59:1-2 says “Behold, the LORD’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.”

So if you are still living in sin, confess your sins to God, ask for mercy, give your life to Jesus and He will turn your life.

 Prayer Points

  1. Praise God that you are able to make it for tonight.
  2. Father, please perform a wonder in my body so that i will never be sick again.
  3. Father! Please perform a wonder in my marriage so that it becomes a model for others to copy.
  4. Father, perform a wonder in my family so that we never know sorrow again.

  5. Father! Perform a wonder in my finances so that I will soon be lending to nations.
  6. Father! Anoint me so heavily that evil forces will see me coming and run.
  7. Father! Any evil left in this old year, keep it far from my home.
  8. Any signs and wonders left in this year, send them to my home.
  9. Father! Before the year ends, let my testimonies be complete and perfect.
  10. Father! Forever let me be a channel of blessings.
  11. Personal Prayers.

7 Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience of the idol unto this hour eat it as a thing offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled. 8 But meat commendeth us not to God: for neither, if we eat, are we the better; neither, if we eat not, are we the worse. 9 But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak. 10 For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol’s temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols; 11 And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died? 12 But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ. 13 Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend.

1 Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman. 2 Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband. 3 Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband. 4 The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife. 5 Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency. 6 But I speak this by permission, and not of commandment. 7 For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that. 8 I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I. 9 But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn.

10 And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband: 11 But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife. 12 But to the rest speak I, not the Lord: If any brother hath a wife that believeth not, and she be pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away. 13 And the woman which hath an husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him. 14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy. 15 But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God hath called us to peace. 16 For what knowest thou, O wife, whether thou shalt save thy husband? or how knowest thou, O man, whether thou shalt save thy wife?

17 But as God hath distributed to every man, as the Lord hath called every one, so let him walk. And so ordain I in all churches. 18 Is any man called being circumcised? let him not become uncircumcised. Is any called in uncircumcision? let him not be circumcised. 19 Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God. 20 Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called. 21 Art thou called being a servant? care not for it: but if thou mayest be made free, use it rather. 22 For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord’s freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ‘s servant. 23 Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men. 24 Brethren, let every man, wherein he is called, therein abide with God.

25 Now concerning virgins I have no commandment of the Lord: yet I give my judgment, as one that hath obtained mercy of the Lord to be faithful. 26 I suppose therefore that this is good for the present distress, I say, that it is good for a man so to be. 27 Art thou bound unto a wife? seek not to be loosed. Art thou loosed from a wife? seek not a wife. 28 But and if thou marry, thou hast not sinned; and if a virgin marry, she hath not sinned. Nevertheless such shall have trouble in the flesh: but I spare you. 29 But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none; 30 And they that weep, as though they wept not; and they that rejoice, as though they rejoiced not; and they that buy, as though they possessed not; 31 And they that use this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passeth away. 32 But I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord: 33 But he that is married careth for the things that are of the world, how he may please his wife. 34 There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband. 35 And this I speak for your own profit; not that I may cast a snare upon you, but for that which is comely, and that ye may attend upon the Lord without distraction.

36 But if any man think that he behaveth himself uncomely toward his virgin, if she pass the flower of her age, and need so require, let him do what he will, he sinneth not: let them marry. 37 Nevertheless he that standeth stedfast in his heart, having no necessity, but hath power over his own will, and hath so decreed in his heart that he will keep his virgin, doeth well. 38 So then he that giveth her in marriage doeth well; but he that giveth her not in marriage doeth better.

39 The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord. 40 But she is happier if she so abide, after my judgment: and I think also that I have the Spirit of God.

1 Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints? 2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? 3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life? 4 If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church. 5 I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren? 6 But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers. 7 Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded? 8 Nay, ye do wrong, and defraud, and that your brethren.

9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

12 All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. 13 Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body. 14 And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power. 15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? 4. Father, tell all my enemies from my father or mother side or the inlaws or even at my workplace that You are my defender and prove Yourself.

5. Tell all demons in my life, every evil covenant that You are the Lord of Host.

6. Father, show every lack, failure in my life that You are my Provider.

7. Father, show retardation, lack of progress, stagnation in my life that You are my Provider.

8. Father, show every form of barreness, every fruitless effort in my life that You are the one who commanded that I will be fruitful and multiply.

9. Father, the God of Isaac, put laughter in my mouth abundantly tonight.

10. Any appointment I may have with death, Father cancel it.

THE WONDERS OF REVERSING THE IRREVERSIBLE  A Sermon And Prayer Points By Pastor E A Adeboye RCCG 2012 Holy Ghost Congress

Text:    Ezekiel 37 V 4

The Lord Almighty can do all things, He is the all knowing God, Psalm 115 v 15 He is the sovereign one.

The one more appropriate name of God to describe Him tonight can be found in Rev 1 v8 He is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the Ending, the One who is the One who was and the One who is to come.

Now what is the implication of this?  It means what has gone, what is happening and what is to come all meet together in Him.

As a result of this He controls time and season, Daniel2v 20 -21. If He wants He can stop time like it happen in Joshua 12 v 10 -14;

He told the Sun to stay where it was and don’t set, and the sun stood still.

He can do more than that, He can reverse time according to Isaiah 8v 7-8  The past present and future coincide in Him.

He can go right into the past pick something there and bring it to the present meaning He can pick what you thought you have lost forever and bring it back to you again.

He can go into the future and bring it to the present, like in the case of the wedding in the Canaan of Galilee; when His mother told him the wine is finished, Jesus Christ said woman my time has not yet come but that same day His time came and He performed His first miracle.

He made laws to control nature and gravity, but all these laws are made for His pleasure according to Revelation 4 v 1-11.

Whenever He wants He can suspend the laws, just like He did in 2 king 6 v 1-7, you don’t need much of science to know that if you throw a wood into the water it will float, but when the axe head of the sons of the prophet fell into the water in 2kings 6 v 1-17, Elisha cut a wood, threw it into the water and the axe head float instead of the wood.

He can suspend law, He can reverse them, and then He can override them.

The Lord in His sovereigns can restore lost opportunity.  He can change curses into blessings.

You will see this in Genesis 49 v 5-7 when Joshua placed a curse on anyone who tries to build the wall of Jericho but years later in Numbers 3 v 11 Elisha put an end to that curse and turned it into a blessing.

God can also  keep a destiny in suspense if you look at Daniel 4  King Nebuchadnezzar offended God , so he turned him to an animal for seven years.

Everybody was looking at him as an animal, humanly speaking it was over for him, but in the whole seven years nobody dethroned him, until He restore him back as a king and added excellent majesty to him.

God can turn dry bones into an army, He can make hopeless situation to be hopeful. He can reverse the irreversible.

The question now is for whom will God do this?  These are the kind of people who serve God voluntarily according to 2 kings 4 v 8-17.

God is not ready to help the one who is not ready seek for Him Mark 11 v 46.

Lastly anyone who is going to have the irreversible reversed, must surrender to Him completely.

PRAYER POINTS

1.                Praise Him because of His Almightiness He can do all things

2.                Father, You are the Help of the helpless please help me.

3.                Please restore to me Father every opportunities that I have lost.

4.                Father, give me another chance.

5.                Father, change every curse in my life to a blessing.

5.         Father, according to Psalm 118 v 17 because I will witness, I will tell people about your good works, I hereby decree I shall live, I shall not die.

6.         Father, according to John 15 v 16 if I am constantly winning souls for you all my prayers will be answered, I hereby decree that from now on before I call God please answer.
