God vested all authority in the name of Jesus. Use the Name of Jesus. The Dominion Of Christ Name.

So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God (Mark 16:19).

The Bible says God vested all authority in the Name of Jesus (Philippians 2:9-10); His Name has the greatest honour, the greatest authority ever! Today, if you believe in that Name, happy are you! It doesn’t matter what might have plagued you; it doesn’t matter for how long you’ve been under or on the sidewalk of life; your victory is guaranteed.

Many haven’t understood the power, glory and dominion of His Name. His Name destroys cancer, brings health and wholeness to your physical body. His Name brings you liberty from the bondage of Satan. Are you in a dilemma or a tempestuous situation? Use the Name of Jesus. His Name has power in heaven, in the earth, and under the earth.

No demon can resist the power and dominion of His Name. His Name is an instrument; it’s a weapon! It’s guaranteed to produce the result you expect because when you make a demand in His Name, it’s as though Jesus Himself were making that demand. Everything that exists in this world and beyond is subject to His Name.

1 John 5:13 reveals something beautiful; it tells us to believe on the Name of the Son of God. That simply means to put the Name of Jesus to work! It’s your access to a life of unending victories, ever-increasing glory and abundant blessings. Philippians 2:10 says, “…at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth.”

In your life, be unruffled and at peace every day, irrespective of the adversaries or adversities that you might face. His Name is your defence and assurance of victory. Maybe today, some doors seem to have been shut against you; there’s pressure and tension on every side; use the Name of Jesus. His Name can be trusted. Trust and call on that Name today. Glory to God!

CONFESSION

In the Name of Jesus Christ, I pray for God’s children around the world who are sick in their bodies. I pass healing to them; the liberty of Jesus Christ is theirs, and right now, the feeling of wellness returns to them. I declare that they’re free by the power of the Holy Ghost! Your Body Belongs To God.

Romans 12:1 NIV “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.”

In his letter to the Romans, Paul addressed his brothers and sisters in Christ and not the people of the world, admonishing them to present their bodies as holy sacrifices to God. Realise that being born again, you were paid for, and your body belongs to God; He only made you its custodian, but it’s actually His property: “For you were bought at a price; therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s” (1 Corinthians 6:20).

Don’t give your body to sin, sickness, wickedness, lust or even the devil for his works. Give your body to the Lord! Let Him have the sole right to decide what happens to and with your body. And you’ll be amazed at what will happen in your life, for His glory will be revealed in you! Amen.

God’s Word is like a mirror

If someone listens to God’s word but doesn’t do what it says, he is like a person who looks at his face in a mirror, studies his features, goes away, and immediately forgets what he looks like. James 1:23–24, GW

The Right Mirror!

James says that God’s Word is like a mirror. It reflects who you really are. What God says about you is the true image that you need to keep in front of you. You are not defined by people, by your past, by how you were raised, or by what didn’t work out. You are defined by your Creator. When you look in the mirror of God’s Word, you’ll see that you are valuable, talented, confident, favored, blessed, and worthy. You have to see it on the inside before it will happen on the outside. You have to start seeing yourself as whole, as free, as forgiven and clean, as redeemed and restored. Start seeing yourself as blessed, prosperous, crowned with favor, one of a kind. As you see yourself as God sees you, it begins to heal a damaged self-image, to repair the hurts and scars that have caused you to see yourself as lacking, inferior, unqualified. It may not happen overnight, but if you keep seeing yourself the right way, little by little you’re going to become what you’re seeing.

Regard Everyone

Though the Lord is on high, yet He regards the lowly; but the proud He knows from afar. Psalm 138:6

God is the greatest; yet as great as He is, He regards us all. He sent His Son Jesus to pay the price for the salvation of everyone in the world no matter who they are or what they’ve done. His mercy and love are for everyone.

Therefore, you should regard everyone too. Regarding others means you treat them honourably, and respectfully no matter who they are. This is the right way to behave as God’s child.

THE STUDY OF THE BOOK OF ROMANS. CREATION OF A NEW HUMANITY

TEXT: ROMANS 7:1-7, 12, 21-23, 25; 8:1 – 4, 9-11,14, 35-37

INTRODUCTION: The general theme of Paul’s letter to the church in Rome was the righteousness of God. In our earlier studies, we learnt that all humanity is hopelessly guilty of sin and needs to be rescued. Though the Jewish believed they were better off than the non-Jewish as God gave them the law or Torah to guide the way they lived, we saw that they were wrong, as they are as sinful as the rest of humanity. We learnt that there can be no salvation based on obeying the law. God loves humanity and because of His righteousness, He made provisions for saving humanity by sending Jesus Christ as a Messiah to die as a sacrifice for sin. Jesus also resurrected thereby making life available to all people. Once we have faith in Christ, we are given a new status, become a member of a new family, forgiven our sins, have a new future and can begin a journey of a transformed life by God’s grace. Last week, we examined death through Adam and Life through Christ, emphasizing that justification by faith in Christ creates new humanity and is the only way to salvation. Also, by baptism we identify with the death and resurrection of Jesus to live a new life. We also discussed the availability of Grace, concluding it is always available. Today, we continue to look at God’s creation of a new humanity, by closely examining the law and its purpose and what the actual problem of humanity is, concluding in chapter 8 that the real solution is Jesus and the Spirit that enable people fulfil the call of the commands to love God and their neighbour.

OUTLINE 1

I. FREED FROM THE LAW/AN ILLUSTRATION FROM MARRIAGE – ROMANS 7: 1 – 6:

• The law only has authority over the living: Romans 7:1-3.

• Union with Christ frees from bondage of law: Romans 7: 4- 6.

ii. LAW AND SIN – ROMANS 7: 7 – 12

• The law is not sin but reveals what sin is: verse 7.

• Without law, there is no sin and sin is dead. Sin produces evil desires: Romans7: 8; Romans 4:15; 1Corinthians 15:56

• With the law and commandments, all will be guilty and die: Romans 7: 10.

• The Law is holy, just and good – verse 12: 1 Timothy 1:8

iii. INNER CONFLICT/LAW CANNOT SAVE FROM SIN – ROMANS 7: 13 – 25

CONCLUSION

God’s plan for humanity is to have a unified church – a faith-based, multi-ethnic family as his covenant children, justified by their faith in Jesus and raised with Him from the dead. Only these members of a new humanity – those born again, who surrender to the lordship of Jesus can truly love him. They are free from the law because they died to sin and have their faith in Jesus who died and paid for their sin. They are the ones that can truly love God and their neighbours. They have been given God’s Spirit and are able to call God their father. They are also co-heirs with Christ and will enjoy blessings kept for God’s children. They are assured of God’s eternal love and are inseparable from the love of God. By contrast, those who seem good to the world but are not saved do not have the Spirit of God in them, so they cannot be God’s. The end for sinners is death, whilst the saved pass on to eternal life and can never perish. John 10:28.

EVEN IF WE WERE BUSINESS MEN!

WE OPERATE ON A BUDGET

When “it” finishes now, you will be the first to ask “What was he doing with his salaries?”

The Month of April is coming to an end in few days’ time and I am grateful to GOD for life and provision and every other thing He alone chose to bring my way.

Thank You JESUS!

In this month of April I got 55 calls, chats and text messages for financial assistance, ranging from Urgent 2k to N500K.

Yes! I started counted them when they started becoming too much!

Now, I can no longer comment on a status, without getting a text for help! I don’t blame anybody, Nigeria is tough at the moment, but remember we are all in it!

Some friends, I am even afraid to call and check up on them, Why check up on them when you cannot elevate their suffering.

I keep wondering why these people think I have all this money! Even if I am super rich, I still have my own challenges.

I have not built a house for myself and for my family, which is one primary concern of every good man. I am not talking of my dream house, just a roof over my head that will cancel the yoke of house rent in my life forever.

A Wealthy Man Should At Least Have His Own House, No Tenant Is Wealthy! Every Tenant Is Struggling!

Any Tom, Dick and Harry can own a car, but A HOUSE! It takes an ODOGWU to be a LANDLORD or A LANDLADY!

I wouldn’t even mention friends that sells goods I will categorized as luxuries at the moment that gets mad when you exit their whatapp groups or when you tell them in your nonsense voice to stop bombarding your phones with pictures of things you don’t need at the moment, why flood my phones daily with more than 30 pictures and still flood your whatapp status with the same pictures and my phones automatically save all these pictures and videos on my devices, cluttering their internal memories.

We are all trying to survive!

I am cutting off some things in my life to enable survive Nigeria with the Grace of GOD!

I told a friend I have not switched on my generator for 6 years, he couldn’t believe me, he asked me why, I told him, I cannot be fuelling my car and my generator at the same time!

A kilo of chicken is now N6k, which is just one lap of a chicken Oooo! I have cancelled chicken from my menu.

I buy one crate of egg, which is 30 pieces of eggs, we go chop am for 2 weeks.

Jesus, The Mediator Of The New Testament.

To me, though I am the very least of all the saints (God’s consecrated people), this grace (favor, privilege) was granted and graciously entrusted: to proclaim to the Gentiles the unending (boundless, fathomless, incalculable, and exhaustless) riches of Christ [wealth which no human being could have searched out] (Ephesians 3:8 AMPC).

In Hebrews 9:16, the Bible says, “For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.” The word that’s translated “testament” in that verse is the Greek “diathēkē” and it means the last disposition, the last will. The 17th verse says, “For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise, it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.”

It’s saying that as long as the person who made the will is alive, the will has no power; it can’t be effected. But once he’s dead, the will comes into effect. This is telling us about Jesus, the mediator of the New Testament (the new will). So, the question is, what’s in the will that Jesus left for us? What did He assign to us? What did He give us?

Jesus gave us everything that was His; everything, including His life! If a man writes in his will and says, “I’ve given you everything I have,” it’ll be wise to find out what he had. In our theme verse, Paul the Apostle, by the revelation of the Spirit, gives a description of what he was sent to preach about this last disposition, which is the description of the wealth of Jesus that He bequeathed to us—what we have in the will! He called it “…boundless, fathomless, incalculable, and exhaustless riches of Christ [wealth which no human being could have searched out].” How refreshing!

In Colossians 1:12, the Bible says, “Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light.” Thus, the Father has qualified us to be partakers of the riches of Christ.

How do you walk in it? It’s through the Word. As you study and meditate on the Word, not only will you discover your inheritance in Christ, you’ll also begin to relate with and enjoy all that God has made available to you in Christ Jesus. Acts 20:32 says, “And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.” Glory to God!

No Compromises! Christianity Is A Call To Righteousness.

Romans 12:2 CEV “Don’t be like the people of this world, but let God change the way you think. Then you will know how to do everything that is good and pleasing to him.”

Some Christians want to see God’s glory in their lives, but they choose to live differently from what the Word says. It can’t work that way! You’ve got to live in accordance with your righteous nature, and the Word of God is the light that you need to do so.

There’re many things that try to distract you from following the Lord and living according to His Word, but the scripture says, “Don’t be conformed to this world!” Though you’re in the world, you’re not of the world; you’re different and you’ve got a new life in Christ now.

Therefore, don’t compromise! Live in God’s Word. Let nothing of the world lure you because Christianity is a call to righteousness. Right living is a product of righteousness, and the reason you can live right is that God has given you righteousness as a gift (Romans 5:17).

You shouldn’t live like those who have never known the Lord. Live by the Word. We’re Word practitioners (James 1:22); we produce fruits of righteousness. How can you comfortably lift your hands in worship and say, “I love you, Lord,” and not keep His Word? The proof of your love for Him is doing His Word. He said, “If you love me, show it by doing what I’ve told you” (John 14:15 MSG). Prove your love by living for Him and doing His Word. Manifest His character, His life, and righteousness, and give full expression to that glorious and righteous nature in you.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1

The story of THE WORD is the story of our Lord Jesus. Jesus is the Word of God made flesh (John 1:14). Everything you see was made by the Word; He was the ‘voice’ Adam and Eve heard walking in the garden (Genesis 3:8), and the Wisdom David and Solomon described in the Scriptures. He is God Himself, and He came to the world to save us all. Hallelujah! Amen.

Order That Devil Out! You’ve Got God-Given Authority Over Devils.

Luke 8:28-29 “… “What have I to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg You, do not torment me!” For He had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man….”

When you read this account of the demon-possessed man at Gadara in full detail, you begin to wonder, “Why didn’t the devils come out immediately, rather than the man running to Jesus?” Let me explain: First, you need to understand that every human being has to run his own life; you can’t cast the devil out of someone who doesn’t want the devil to go, except the person places himself under your influence. This mad man at Gadara was possessed by demons for a long time. He was so maniacal that he cut himself with sharp stones, night and day, and anytime he was bound with chains and fetters, he broke them (Luke 8:27-33).

Now, something happened before he ran towards Jesus; when Jesus was still a distance away, the devil in him cried out with a loud voice; that’s what we read in our opening verse; this happened when the Lord first commanded the devil to come out of the man. So, even though the devil didn’t leave the man, he couldn’t stop him from running to Jesus. Until the man in question placed himself under the Master’s influence, by running towards Him, he couldn’t be helped. It’s the same way today.

You’ve got authority over all demons and the cohorts of darkness in the Name of Jesus. If there’s anything you’re uncomfortable with, and you can perceive that a demon is responsible, order him out. You don’t have to scream and shout to do it; there’s no distance in the realm of the spirit.

Command him to stop his operations and manoeuvres; it doesn’t matter where he is in this world, he’ll hear you. However, remember, when it has to do with casting him out of a person, it works best when that one places himself under your influence.

I affirm that God’s label is on me

I affirm that God’s label is on me, for I am His workmanship created in Christ Jesus unto good works. Therefore, as I go about doing good today; my life is filled with God’s goodness and grace. I am led in the path of truth, for the wisdom of God is at work in me. I abhor falsehood, and I am firmly established in God’s Word which makes righteousness manifest in my spirit. Hallelujah. I am far removed from the arena of assumption, far removed from the corruptive influences of this world. I am seated together with Christ in the place of power; far above all principalities, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world but also in that which is to come.

I live in dominion over sin, sickness and infirmities, and every opposing force, accusation, or hindrance. Hallelujah. I am one with the Father. The Lord has sent His angels before me to minister for me daily! As I affirm the Word, they’re dispatched to establish the words of my mouth and ensure that the words that I speak do not come back to me void. I am never alone because the host of heaven are with me always! Glory to God. Amen.

My Daily Proclamation

I refuse to be moved by what I feel, or what my senses tell me. Sickness has no place in my body. I’m an associate of the God-kind, with the indestructible life of God in me. I’m healthy and strong! The life of God is at work in every fibre of my being, in every cell of my blood and in every bone of my body. Hallelujah! Amen.
