Mark 1. John The Baptist Prepares The Way

1 The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God; 2 As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee. 3 The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. 4 John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins. 5 And there went out unto him all the land of Judaea, and they of Jerusalem, and were all baptized of him in the river of Jordan, confessing their sins. 6 And John was clothed with camel’s hair, and with a girdle of a skin about his loins; and he did eat locusts and wild honey; 7 And preached, saying, There cometh one mightier than I after me, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and unloose. 8 I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost.

9 And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan. 10 And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him: 11 And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. 12 And immediately the Spirit driveth him into the wilderness. 13 And he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan; and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered unto him.

14 Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, 15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. 16 Now as he walked by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. 17 And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men. 18 And straightway they forsook their nets, and followed him. 19 And when he had gone a little farther thence, he saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who also were in the ship mending their nets. 20 And straightway he called them: and they left their father Zebedee in the ship with the hired servants, and went after him. 21 And they went into Capernaum; and straightway on the sabbath day he entered into the synagogue, and taught. 22 And they were astonished at his doctrine: for he taught them as one that had authority, and not as the scribes.

23 And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out, 24 Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God. 25 And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. 26 And when the unclean spirit had torn him, and cried with a loud voice, he came out of him. 27 And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him. 28 And immediately his fame spread abroad throughout all the region round about Galilee.

29 And forthwith, when they were come out of the synagogue, they entered into the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John. 30 But Simon’s wife’s mother lay sick of a fever, and anon they tell him of her. 31 And he came and took her by the hand, and lifted her up; and immediately the fever left her, and she ministered unto them. 32 And at even, when the sun did set, they brought unto him all that were diseased, and them that were possessed with devils. 33 And all the city was gathered together at the door. 34 And he healed many that were sick of divers diseases, and cast out many devils; and suffered not the devils to speak, because they knew him. 35 And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed. 36 And Simon and they that were with him followed after him. 37 And when they had found him, they said unto him, All men seek for thee. 38 And he said unto them, Let us go into the next towns, that I may preach there also: for therefore came I forth. 39 And he preached in their synagogues throughout all Galilee, and cast out devils.

40 And there came a leper to him, beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying unto him, If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. 41 And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I will; be thou clean. 42 And as soon as he had spoken, immediately the leprosy departed from him, and he was cleansed. 43 And he straitly charged him, and forthwith sent him away; 44 And saith unto him, See thou say nothing to any man: but go thy way, show thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing those things which Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them. 45 But he went out, and began to publish it much, and to blaze abroad the matter, insomuch that Jesus could no more openly enter into the city, but was without in desert places: and they came to him from every quarter.

A Righteous Man May Fall Seven Times And Rise Again. Proverbs 24:16

Don’t be afraid of failure!

Solomon writes: “Without oxen a stable stays clean, but you need a strong ox for a large harvest” (Proverbs 14:4 NLT). If you insist on always having a nice neat stall, you’ll have an empty stall. If you want a big harvest, you’ll need a big ox with a big appetite that creates big messes. For example, if you decide to have children you’ll have lots of joy, and lots of messes to clean up. Within minutes, children can take a house that looks like it belongs in Better Homes and Gardens and make it look like a trial run for the battle of Armageddon. So you’ve an option: Live by yourself and enjoy a less complicated life, or accept the responsibilities that come with having a family. Even in the dictionary, the word “striving” and “struggling” comes before the word “success”

Dr. John Maxwell says, “At some point you have to make a transition from believer of the dream, to the buyer of the dream. No dream comes true without somebody paying for it. And part of the price you will have to pay is in learning from the mistakes you make. You can attend every success seminar, read every success manual and follow every success mentor, but the price must always be paid in messes and mistakes. There isn’t a single person in the world who has achieved anything without paying a price for it. Some pay with their lives or their freedom. Others pay by giving up options or finances or relationships. But one way or another, everybody pays.”

Matthew 21. The Triumphant Entry into Jerusalem

1 And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem, and were come to Bethphage, unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples, 2 Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me. 3 And if any man say ought unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will send them. 4 All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, 5 Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass. 6 And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them, 7 And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon. 8 And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way. 9 And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest. 10 And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this? 11 And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.

12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, 13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves. 14 And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them. 15 And when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the son of David; they were sore displeased, 16 And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise? 17 And he left them, and went out of the city into Bethany; and he lodged there.

18 Now in the morning as he returned into the city, he hungered. 19 And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away. 20 And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away! 21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. 22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

23 And when he was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto him as he was teaching, and said, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority? 24 And Jesus answered and said unto them, I also will ask you one thing, which if ye tell me, I in like wise will tell you by what authority I do these things. 25 The baptism of John, whence was it? from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say unto us, Why did ye not then believe him? 26 But if we shall say, Of men; we fear the people; for all hold John as a prophet. 27 And they answered Jesus, and said, We cannot tell. And he said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.

28 But what think ye? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard. 29 He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went. 30 And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not. 31 Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you. 32 For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him.

33 Hear another parable: There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country: 34 And when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it. 35 And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another. 36 Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise. 37 But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son. 38 But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance. 39 And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him. 40 When the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen? 41 They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons. 42 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes? 43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. 44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder. 45 And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them. 46 But when they sought to lay hands on him, they feared the multitude, because they took him for a prophet.

May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

Matthew 14. The Death Of John The Baptist

1 At that time Herod the tetrarch heard of the fame of Jesus, 2 And said unto his servants, This is John the Baptist; he is risen from the dead; and therefore mighty works do show forth themselves in him. 3 For Herod had laid hold on John, and bound him, and put him in prison for Herodias‘ sake, his brother Philip’s wife. 4 For John said unto him, It is not lawful for thee to have her. 5 And when he would have put him to death, he feared the multitude, because they counted him as a prophet. 6 But when Herod’s birthday was kept, the daughter of Herodias danced before them, and pleased Herod. 7 Whereupon he promised with an oath to give her whatsoever she would ask. 8 And she, being before instructed of her mother, said, Give me here John Baptist’s head in a charger. 9 And the king was sorry: nevertheless for the oath’s sake, and them which sat with him at meat, he commanded it to be given her. 10 And he sent, and beheaded John in the prison. 11 And his head was brought in a charger, and given to the damsel: and she brought it to her mother. 12 And his disciples came, and took up the body, and buried it, and went and told Jesus.

13 When Jesus heard of it, he departed thence by ship into a desert place apart: and when the people had heard thereof, they followed him on foot out of the cities. 14 And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick. 15 And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals. 16 But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart; give ye them to eat. 17 And they say unto him, We have here but five loaves, and two fishes. 18 He said, Bring them hither to me. 19 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude. 20 And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full. 21 And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children.

22 And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away. 23 And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone. 24 But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary. 25 And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea. 26 And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled,  saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear. 27 But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. 28 And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. 29 And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. 30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. 31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? 32 And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased. 33 Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.

34 And when they were gone over, they came into the land of Gennesaret. 35 And when the men of that place had knowledge of him, they sent out into all that country round about, and brought unto him all that were diseased; 36 And besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly whole.

May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

Matthew 11. The Messenger From John The Baptist To Jesus Christ

1 And it came to pass, when Jesus had made an end of commanding his twelve disciples, he departed thence to teach and to preach in their cities. 2 Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples, 3 And said unto him, Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another? 4 Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and show John again those things which ye do hear and see: 5 The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them. 6 And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.

7 And as they departed, Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind? 8 But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? behold, they that wear soft clothing are in kings’ houses. 9 But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet. 10 For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee. 11 Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. 12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. 13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. 14 And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come. 15 He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

16 But whereunto shall I liken this generation? It is like unto children sitting in the markets, and calling unto their fellows, 17 And saying, We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned unto you, and ye have not lamented. 18 For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, He hath a devil. 19 The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children. 20 Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty works were done, because they repented not: 21 Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. 22 But I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment, than for you. 23 And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. 24 But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee.

25 At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. 26 Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight. 27 All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him. 28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

Matthew 3. The Preaching Of John The Baptist

Saint John the Baptist and the Pharisees

Matthew 3. The Preaching Of John The Baptist

1 In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea, 2 And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. 3 For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. 4 And the same John had his raiment of camel’s hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey. 5 Then went out to him Jerusalem, and all Judaea, and all the region round about Jordan, 6 And were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins.

7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? 8 Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance: 9 And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. 10 And now also the ax is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: 12 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

13 Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him. 14 But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? 15 And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him. 16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: 17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

Father tonight, many of your children are gathered here; many are trusting you for the fruit of the womb. This very month answer them in Jesus name.

Change their sorrow to joy in Jesus name, open their wombs in Jesus name, and everyone of us here and those who are listening to us, across the world, in a way that only you can do it meet all our needs, answer all our prayers by fire, and let our joy overflow, thank you Almighty God, in Jesus mighty name we have prayed.

Let someone shout halleluiah!

Tonight we want to talk about the glorious generation Luke 1 v 13 – 17

But the Angel said unto him, “fear not Zachariah, for thy prayer is heard (God will hear the prayer of somebody today) and thy wife Elizabeth shall bare thee a son, and thy shall call his name John. And thou shall have joy and gladness.

And many shall rejoice at his birth for he shall be great in the sight of the Lord; and he shall drink neither wine nor strong drink, and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost even from his mother’s womb. And many of the children of Israel shall return to the Lord their God.

And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the heart of the father to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.

Glorious generation, what is the meaning of glory? The word glory is difficult to define, except you define it by finding out what it is not. So we will turn to the book of Proverbs 3 v 35 where the Bible says the wise shall inherit glory, but shame shall be the promotion of fools.

Since fools happen to be the opposite of the wise, then shame is the opposite of glory.

That is why I am believing God for everyone of you here tonight, anything call shame shall become a stranger to you.

Glory is the opposite of shame. The ingredients of shame, those things that combine one way or the other to produce shame could be; bondage, curses, reproach, failure, defeat and so on and so forth.

So the ingredients of glory therefore will be things like anointing, blessings, honor, success, victory etc. All these are ingredients of glory.

And when you go through the scriptures you will find a certain a generation, when we talk about a generation we are talking about a group of people having the same characteristic.

When you go through the scripture you will find shameful children, like Cain; the original murderer, children like Esau; who sold his birth right just for a plate of food, children like Gehazi; who had an opportunity to become the most powerful prophet in history but decided to exchange that for a little bit of money, children like Judas Iscariot; who for a thirty piece of silver he trade his Lord, they form a generation, they belong to one group.

That is why you don’t find people naming there children; Cain, or Esau or Gehazi who happens to be the father of all lepers or Judas Iscariot, people don’t like those names.

But when you go through the scripture you will also find another generation, a glorious generations; and you will begin to hear names like Isaac, Joseph, Samson, Samuel, John.

And you find if you mention those names, if I just say is anybody here who is Isaac? You will find many hands. Why? Because this are a glorious generation.

These children, who are in the glorious generation section, have certain characteristics in common, they are all anointed, they all blessed, they are successful, they are all vessels unto honour in the hands of God, they are all victorious.

But they also have one thing in common; all of them where born by parents who had to wait, their parents were originally considered barren before God opened there wombs and out came this glorious generation.

So I have good news for those of you who are here tonight, trusting God for the fruit of the womb. Out of your womb will come a glorious generation.

Let me take some of the characteristics so that you will know what to expect, the children that are going to be born to you, are not going to be ordinary children, they are going to be special, they are going to be a glorious generation.

Every child in the glorious generation group is anointed; take Joseph Genesis 37 v 5 -11 you will find that even when he was young, he was already receiving divine revelations; fantastic dreams of greatness that is almost beyond human comprehension.

But by the time you get to Genesis 40 v 5 – 22… You will discover that he wasn’t just receiving generation for himself he could even interpret the dreams of others. And by the time you get to Genesis 41 v 25 -38 even Pharaoh an Idol worshipping kings said “can we find a man like this; in whom there is the spirit of the Holy God”. Joseph was anointed.

Take Samson as another example, Judges 13 v 2-5 tells us that he was even anointed from the mother’s womb that before he was born at all the anointing of God was already on him, he was so anointed that when Lion came his way, he tore it into two.

In Judges 15 v 14-16 when the enemy came trying to destroy, the anointing on him was so mighty he was able to destroy a thousand of them.

Or shall we talk about Samuel; still talking about anointed children, we found in 1Samuel 10 v 1 we found that only was Samuel anointed, he was so anointed that he could anointing a king.

Anyone he pours oil upon became a king; in fact he was so anointed that his dress carries tremendous power.

1 Samuel 15 v 25- 29, he turned to go and the king took his dress and the dress torn and he said because you tore my dress, your kingdom is torn away from you. That is the kind of anointing!

So the kind of children you are to expect from this meeting tonight will be highly anointed children.

The children in the glorious generation are blessed children; take Joseph for example in Genesis 39 v 2 -3 the Bible tells us that whatever he touched prospers.

He was so bless that when he came into a house, blessing came into that house.

I want to prophesy to those of you who are trusting God for the fruit of the womb, the baby you are going to bring forth less than one year from now, will bring tremendous blessings to your family.

Or shall we take Isaac, another one of the glorious generation, in Genesis 22 v 15-18 God said I swear, concerning you Abraham I will bless you, but concerning Isaac; I will multiply him, that is the only place in the scripture you will find swearing, in other words he is saying this blessing will never be reversed.

The children that will come out of tonight session will be irreversible blessed in Jesus name.

Thank you Lord!

The Lord says there is a woman here tonight, he said I have spoken to your womb, and it will obey me.

The children in this generation are vessels unto honour in the hand of God, not a single one of these children in the glorious generation was a useless child.

You know there are people who come into this world; they come, they eat, they go to work, they die and that’s all. After they are gone nobody remember them. But some people come into the world and they change the world for the better.

Every child that will be born as a result of tonight’s meeting will be a world changer in Jesus name.

Take Joseph for example in Genesis 50 v 19 -20 he said God use me to preserve the world. At a time when the world as at that time would have perished, God raised up a young man called Joseph who brought preservation to a whole group of people, his family own as well as the whole world.

What about Samuel in 1 Samuel 23 v 19-21 the Bible said because of Samuel God began to appear again in Shiloh, there was a restoration of the presence of God, there was revival.

I am prophesying tonight, that among the children that will be born as a result of tonight’s gathering will be world evangelist in Jesus name.

What about John the Baptist, in John 1 v 19 -23 he described himself as a voice in the wilderness calling on people to prepare the way of the Lord and to make his way straight. A voice!

Am believing God for all of you who are here today that out of your womb will be boys and girls that will be voice to the whole world.

All the children in the glorious generation were successful, not a single failure among them. Isaac in Genesis 26 v 12 -14 was so successful he became the envy of a whole nation.

The whole nation envied him! Joseph, in Genesis 41 v 39-44 became the Prime minister of Egypt. Pharaoh said behold I am pharaoh, only in the throne will I be greater than you, apart from that nobody will be able to do anything without your permission. That is success!

The Lord asks me to tell someone here to shout the biggest halleluiah! You have ever shouted,

the Lord says that mouth has just shouted halleluiah to Him, Will soon be filled with praise and laughter.

In Matthew 11 v 11 we find that John the Baptist

The Lord ask me to assure all of you who are here tonight, he said none of the children conceived this month will be retarded.

In Matthew 11 v 11 the Lord Jesus Christ testified concerning John the Baptist and said of all the children born of a woman in the Old Testament, he said there has never been anyone greater than John the Baptist.

I decree to all of you who are here tonight, that your children will be great, they will be greater than you, and they will be number one among their own generation.

The Lord ask me to tell you the choir, he said he enjoyed your ministration tonight.

But then there is a section of these children born in this glorious generation and that is very important and that is the fact that they are all victorious.

This so important because it will bring encouragement to all of us because every child that is born in this glorious generation is victorious one way or the other.

There are victorious over hopelessness, for example in Genesis 18 v 9-14 when God said to Abraham, that Sarah was going to have a son in nine month, Sarah laughed because she thought the situation was hopeless, but the Almighty God who could have said alright because you laughed I cancelled what I have said, did not change his mind, he says you can laugh as much as you like, Isaac will be born.

All of you who consider your situation hopeless, I have good news for you today, in the name that is above every other names, your Isaac will be born.

There is no hopeless case with God, none at all. Jeremiah 32 v 37 says behold I am the God of all flesh, is anything too hard for me?

The Lord says the fellow that he is talking to will understand, he says that yoke is broken tonight.

In Genesis 37 v 1 – 10 the Bible tells us that the Almighty God cause dry bone to live again, it wasn’t just dead bodies it was dry bones and the bible says they were very dry and yet the Almighty God caused hi servant to prophecy and the dry bones came back to live again.

The God who can make dry bone live again can take care of your situation, because even if they say your womb is already dried at least it is not yet dead, and even if they say it is dead.

There is someone who has the power of the resurrection, and that power is going to work for you tonight in Jesus name.

Daddy asks me to tell his people tonight, I will reverse the irreversible.

Even if we stop at this stage and we go home, I believe the job is already done.

The children of this glorious generation are children who overcame doubt, when their parents doubted, God gave hem victory over the doubt.

When the man of God spoke in 2 king 4 v 8 -17 to the Shunamite woman and said you are going to have a son The woman said man of God don’t deceive me, it is too late, but the Almighty God said well whether you doubted me or not, I will do what I will do.

We are not belittling the part of faith, the bible says the just shall live by faith, four times God repeated himself in the bible, ‘the just shall live by faith’ but the same God said in Isaiah 43 v 13 he said I will walk who will let, in order word, I will work who will hinder me?

The Almighty God said when I have decided to do something, who are you to stop me?

Every force that may be whispering to you now saying that you are not going to have your own children, the Lord will silence them tonight.

The Bible says clearly in Psalm 33 v 8-9, let the whole earth fear before the Lord, because he spoke and it is done. If God speaks, it doesn’t matter who is doubting, the word of the Lord shall come to past. In Psalm 33 v 11 the Bible says the counsel of the Lord shall stand.

I remember the testimony of one of my sons, he came with his wife he says Daddy pray for us, we are trusting God for the fruit of the womb, that was several years ago. I said what do you want the sex of the child to be?

He looked at me and said “I asked you to pray for us, you have not even prayed you are asking” I said what sex do you want? Then he said “ok a boy”. So I said get ready for a boy.

When he was sharing his testimony he said he left disappointed, because he had thought we will shake and jump up a little bit before the prayer can be answered.

I prophecy to someone here tonight, In the name that is above every other name, whatever sex you want, girl or boy or a set of twins even if you want a triplet receive now in Jesus name.

Children in the glorious generation are victors over doubt; they are also victors over mockers, in Genesis 21 v 1 – 6 Sarah told us that there must have been some people mocking her, who would have thought that Sarah would bear a child that is why she called the name of the children laughter.

There are many of us who have been mocked in the past, but Psalm 115 v 1 – 3 tells us clearly that there might be people who will say where is your God? But then God will tell them I am in heaven and I do as I please.

Everyone who has been asking where is your God, before one year from this moment, they will gather to celebrate with you in Jesus name.

The Lord said there is a woman here; he said the man who has been molesting in your dream will never return.

Daddy says there is a man here tonight, he asked me to tell you, your potency shall be fully restored.

Thank you father, the Lord said there is someone here tonight, he said by this time next year, you will already be in the club of the fruitful.

The Lord said there is someone one here tonight, he said those who deserted you will return to bless you.

Glorious generation, a generation on victors, victorious over enemy known and unknown, many at times when people find themselves in this kind of situation that they have to wait a long time before fruitfulness, it is usually because of an enemy; it could be as a result of an enemy within, it could be an enemy without.

There could be an enemy within, cooperating with an enemy without as you find in the case of Samson in judges 15 v 11- 14. It is the relatives of Samson that handed him over to the Philistine before the Almighty God moved in.

I have told you several stories before, I have told you the story of a woman, but for the sake of those of you who are new just to encourage you that it doesn’t even matter that if the enemy is within, God will take care of that also.

If the enemy is without, God will take care of that also.

Some of you will remember the story of a woman; she got married and she was happy, then one day the mother in law came from the market with a loaf of bread and gave it to the young wife and said eat this and use it and use it to block your womb.

The lady said what kind of joke is this, but innocently she took the bread and ate. And from that day onward, she ceases to menstruate.

Until one day the Almighty God decided to send us to a particular town to hold a program, and she heard that we were coming so she began to fast, that at least that particular program will bring an end to her problem.

The day we were to arrive, she slept in the afternoon and had a dream. In the dream she saw some people dressed like doctors, they came in they laid her on a table operated her, opened her belly and began to pull out a rope, she saw them pulling out a rope and at the end of the rope there was something like a loaf of bread black and they put that thing with the rope in a basin, sowed her back and left.

And then she woke up! When she woke up, she woke up trembling but them she noticed that the bed was wet with blood that she was menstruating again.

Whatever the enemy has planted in you that is causing your delay shall be uprooted tonight in Jesus name.

Am sure you know the rest of the story, soon after she became pregnant. The last time I heard from her, if I remember correctly, she already had five children..

Whatever the enemy has stolen from you shall be fully restored tonight in Jesus name.

But now let me spend some time talking to the parent, the parents of the glorious generation, they too have certain characteristics that we need to mention, for example take Abraham, the father of Isaac

The Lord said there is someone here tonight; he said a bright light is going to shine into your home this month.

The Lord said there is someone here tonight; he said the word excellent will be frequently used to describe you and yours.

The Lord said there is someone here tonight; he said before the end of this year, you will sing;

Glory, glory, halleluiah! Glory, glory praise the Lord,

Glory, glory halleluiah! Glory, glory praise the Lord.

That is settled in Jesus name.

Genesis 15 v 3-6 tells us that when God told Abraham that he was going to be the father of many nations, he believed God.

The father of the one, who is going to be part of the Glorious generation, must be a man of faith.

What about the wife who is going to produce this child that will be in the glorious generation, Genesis 18 v 12 the bible shows us clearly that Sarah calls Abraham my Lord.

Submissive wife! The wife who honoured her husband, to the extent that she called him my Lord, still reading the same Genesis 18 v 1 – 14 the brother who took the offering this evening, mentioned something along this line.

Those who will be parent of this glorious generation must be feeders of God. Those who feed God, now you may think that means those who give offerings, that might be true but it goes deeper than that.

God is not interested in pounded yam, he is not interested in rice or any other food.

His food is to win souls. To do the will of Him that sent me and to finish his work. To win the world to him, that is the meat he wants.

Anyone who is going to be a parent of a glorious generation must be a soul winner, take my word for it. And so if you really mean business that you want to be part of the people who will produce this glorious generation from this moment onward you will take soul wining as a matter of life and death because it is.

What are the characteristic of those who will bring forth this glorious generation: I Samuel 1 v 1-3 the Bible tells us clearly that Elkanah the father of Samuel was a worshipper of God, a committed worshipper of God.

The father of one of these children must be a committed worshipper of God.

I have observed many times that when it comes to worshipping God women are in the fore front, may the Almighty God bless the women.

You can watch us on the altar here, when the music is going on and things are wonderfully going on, you will see the women standing up to dance.

Maybe the men thought that because I am not standing up is a sign to them that they should seat down but they are making a mistake, because the reason why I remain seated is because I am going to stand for a long time.

And many times whether you believe it or not, when I have to come and preach because of several days of fasting, travelling from my seat the altar here takes a lot of strength and energy. It is only that as soon as I get here power comes.

So I seat down reserving the little energy that I have left, so that I have enough energy to work from my seat to the altar, I know once I get to the altar the rest is settled.

I remembered what God said tonight, he said “he was pleased with the choirs tonight”.

I am sure he was also pleased with those who joined them in worshipping him, that one is clear. So I want to encourage you brothers, from now on don’t let the women beat us, lets beat them, we can dance, can’t we? Let the men shout hallelujah!

Elkanah was a committed worshipper of God; don’t forget God says he is seeking for worshipper.

He said God is a spirit they that worship Him, shall worship Him in truth and in Spirit, for the Father seeketh such to worship Him.

Don’t tell me; we are men, we are big so big men should dance gently.

Why don’t you ask David, he was king, he danced until his belly came out of his garment, and that is why the Almighty God said David I promise you there will always be someone from your family on the throne, just because he praised God. Let’s begin to take worshipping God seriously.

And then in 1 Samuel 1 v 12 -13 look at Hannah, the mother of Samuel, while the husband was a committed worshipper, Hannah was a prayer warrior.

Hannah could pray, she prayed so much that even the priest noticed her. When we read these things in the Bible, many at times we don’t get the full impact because we don’t know the details. When people go to Shiloh it is like when people come to our convention.

In Shiloh in those days, the whole nation will gather in one place to worship God, I imagine one person praying in that great crowd and the man of God noticed her. Imagine someone praying in this crowd that the General Overseer would notice her that must have been some serious prayer.

Hannah was a prayer warrior, tonight we are going to have an opportunity to pray, when that time comes I beseech all of us let us pray like we have never prayed before, because even a dead person can feel the presence of God.

God is here tonight, do you believe that? Let me hear your amen loud and clear!

Who is going to be a parent of a child that will belong to the glorious generation? he must be a covenant keeper.

In 1 Samuel 1 v 9- 11, Hannah promised God; she said give me a son and I will give him back to you. In 1samuel 1 v 24-28 she fulfilled her vow, she didn’t say well I have only this one, maybe when I he gives me one I will give him. So let me keep this one, she fulfilled her vow. Covenant keepers!

In Psalm 51 v 15 David said open thou my lips and my mouth shall show forth thy praise. I will want to encourage all of us who are trusting God for one breakthrough or the other, this time am not just talking to those trusting God for the fruit of the womb, let us make this night a covenant night.

A night when we say to the Almighty God and say you solve this problem in my life, the world will hear. You do this for me, I will tell everyone, and then make sure you keep your own side of the covenant because our God is a covenant keeping God.

Finally, those who will produce children that will belong to the glorious generation must be pure, they must be holy, and they must be blameless. Luke 1 v 5 -6 the Bible tells us concerning Zachariah and Elizabeth he said in all things they were blameless.

I have said it before and I keep on repeating it, if you want a miracle and you still don’t want to live holy, then what you want is not a miracle, what you want is magic.

Go to the devil the devil can give you magic. But if you want a miracle from a Holy God you must be prepared to live holy, he said you cannot expect to live in sin and expect grace to abound, God forbid.

You cannot be committing adultery and expect the Almighty God to answer your prayer for the fruit of the womb.

How many times will I tell you the story of the one who said she wanted a child, she came and we prayed and she came back and said nothing happened? I said what’s happening? You prayed and nothing happened?

And God said ask her how many boyfriends ha s she besides the husband and she said six. Only six! One husband 6 boyfriend, if God were to answer her prayer how would we know who is the father?

Anyone who wants a miracle from God must be willing to live holy. When we talk about fruitfulness, we are not just talking about the fruit of the womb, we can be talk about fruitfulness in your place of work, we can be talking about fruitfulness in your business, we can be talk about fruitfulness in your ministry, fruitiness in several areas.

Fruitfulness in Academic; it is one thing to study, is it another thing to pass, I have been a student before so I know; I know it is possible to be a very good student and study very hard and get to the examination hall and blank out.

I know because it has happened to me before, I have never been a poor student by any standard, I remember one occasion clearly, I had study very hard and I know the subject.

I got to the examination hall, it was eight questions answer any five, I read the first , the second, the third, the eight and there is not a single one I could recognize, I was about to pick up my answer sheet and walk out of the hall, when something said to me seat down.

And I wasn’t even born again then, but God who knew the future decided to be merciful unto me. Seat down and I sat down. I just sat down there, then suddenly I read the question again, I said I know this one, I remember clearly I was to answer five question, I answered all eight and I wrote at the top, mark any five.

It is possible to be barren academically; it is possible to be fruitful academically. You can be fruitful in several areas of your life but you require holiness, when it is time to pray and we are crying to God, God make me fruitful, don’t think that prayer applies to those who are trusting God for the fruit of the womb.

There are areas of your life too where you can be fruitful and am praying to God that this night will be the beginning of fruitfulness for all of us in Jesus name.

So before we begin to pray, let’s give an opportunity to those who have not giving their lives to Jesus Christ before.

If you are here tonight and you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus and you want to do so, you want to say bye, bye to a life of sin, so that the Almighty God can give you a new beginning. So that your prayer can begin to receive instant answers come quickly.

Come and give your life to Jesus Christ, he will save your soul, he will wash away your sins, he will give you a new beginning and then your prayers will begin to go unhindered. All the years you have been leaving in sin, what is the result? What can you show for it?

Come let Jesus save your soul and give you a new beginning.

His blood Cleanses from all sins, it doesn’t matter how many sins you have committed in the past, when you come to him; surrender to him, his blood will wash away every sin.

That is what the word of God says, no matter how you have been in the past, there is still power mighty in his blood.

Those of us in the front, talk to the Lord, ask him to save for your soul, ask him to be merciful unto you, ask him to forgive your sins. Promise him from now on you will serve him and him alone. The rest of us lets stretch our hands towards these people and pray for them; pray that God Almighty will forgive them their sins, pray that God Almighty will wipe away all their sins in his blood, pray that God will give them a brand new beginning.

Pray that God Almighty who saved your soul will save their souls also…. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed, pray for them brethren.

….in Jesus mighty name we have prayed.

Almighty God I want to thank you for your word, I want to thank you on behalf of everyone of us tonight for speaking to us I want to thank you for this your children who have come forward to surrender their lives unto you, father on behalf of everyone of us accept my thanks in Jesus name.

Father you promised that whosoever come unto you, you will in no wise cast out, father these people have come unto you, receive them in Jesus name.

Including those who are surrendering their lives unto you even in their living room watching the program on television or watching the program on the internet, everyone of the save their souls tonight in Jesus name.

Let your blood wipes away their sins in Jesus name, write their names in the book of life in Jesus name. and from this moment onward as you are removing the sins that have been blocking the way to their prayers Whenever they call on you answer them by fire, please don’t let them go back into the world, let them serve you for the rest of their lives.

Give them a brand new beginning, in Jesus mighty name we have prayed. Amen.

Am rejoicing with you because by the grace of God from now on I will be praying for you and by the special grace of God you will begin to receive miracles, miracles you are not even asking for, God will begin to release them unto you and then will know there must be somebody somewhere praying for you.

All the miracles you didn’t even ask for will come to you…. So am going to need your name, your address and your prayer request http://www.rccghome.org

Keep clapping as they go, there is nothing glorious in holiness.

There is something special about clapping for the Lord I will just tell you a story so that next time when we ask you to clap, you will do so with all your might.

Several years ago, we went to Otukpo to start our church there and there was this group of school children and it was time to praise God and they began to clap, and those people know how to clap.

I was going to speak on Divine Healing and they praise God so much that for the first time in my life I got to the altar and I forgot what to say, I just remember the text was Luke 1 v 37, for with God nothing shall be impossible.

But every other thing I wanted to say I couldn’t remember but then all of a sudden in the crowd I saw something going on, I looked from where I was standing in the crowd and I saw that the circle was whitening around that place.

I have not spoken about Holy Ghost baptism, it was not in the program, they were just praising God when the Holy Spirit came down and one by one they began to kneel down speaking in tongues.

Amen! Nobody talked about the Holy Spirit baptism but the Almighty God came down himself to baptize them in the Holy Spirit.

The wicked man flees though no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion. – Proverbs 28:1

The wicked man flees though no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion.
Proverbs 28:1

One of my greatest inspirations of boldness is John the Baptist. He was not someone that the world considered special. He dressed strangely and ate strange food. He didn’t have any special gifting. He preached about God’s kingdom, boldly carrying out what his King had called Him to do. John the Baptist didn’t care what people said or what they thought. It didn’t matter how uncool it was, how undesirable it was, or how bad people hated him. He was even thrown in jail for what he said and later beheaded because of his boldness.

Another one of my Bible heroes is the Apostle Paul who wrote these words in his letter to the Romans: For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile (Romans 1:16). But that kind of boldness can’t happen until you know who you are and you know your place in Christ. This world is hurt and it’s dying. We need voices in the wilderness right now. We need voices to step up and start proclaiming the gospel of Christ with the boldness of John the Baptist and the Apostle Paul did.

Stay strong. If your family, friends and associates hate you for your beliefs, it doesn’t matter. Persecution will come. Just rely on Christ. Have peace knowing that he’s with you. Christ is a hundred percent more important than your family, friends and neighbours. He’s the only reason we live.

Matthew 11:11, “Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding, he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.”

MATTHEW 11:2-19, LUKE 7:18-35

Much of the Old Testament deals with future events and the coming Messiah and His Kingdom. Not only was John the Baptist the voice of God to his generation, he was also the fulfilment of Old Testament prophecy. He did not merely prophesy about the coming Messiah and the New Covenant, as the Old Testament prophets did, but he actually prepared the way for the hearts of the people to receive Jesus by bearing witness to the Light.

Although John the Baptist was the greatest of the Old Testament prophets, he was not a born again “new creature in Christ”. When Jesus was raised from the dead, He enabled us to be “born of the Spirit” and become children of God, heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ. We were enabled to become “partakers of the divine nature” and full-fledged sons of God. John operated under the Old Covenant when none of these promises were yet in effect. Jesus established a new order, “the Kingdom of God,” in which these promises became effective. God saw John and all of the Old Testament prophets through the law.

The new birth is essential for entering into the Kingdom of God. Our spiritual man became dead unto (separated from) God through sin. Just as we didn’t accomplish our physical birth, we cannot produce this spiritual rebirth. We are totally incapable of saving ourselves; therefore, we need a Saviour. We simply believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and we are saved.

Salvation is not a reformation, but rather a regeneration, a new birth, a new creation, that can only be accomplished by a creative miracle of the Holy Spirit. Because of the new birth, He sees us through Jesus. Celebrate Life!

Live Forever In Him

The Transfiguration Lodovico Carracci 1594

LIVE FOREVER IN HIM

John 11:26 “And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?”

JOHN 11:26

Some people have interpreted this as saying that it is possible to never die. Therefore, there are people today who are believing that they will live physically until the second coming of Jesus, even if that is thousands of years away. Although it is understandable how someone could interpret this verse in that manner, it is very doubtful that this is what Jesus truly meant.

First, a doctrine as profound as this would certainly be well documented in other scriptures. Other scriptures may sometimes be quoted as supporting this claim but they would not lead a person to this conclusion by themselves.

There would already have to be a prejudice in favor of this stand within a person to lead him to interpret these scriptures in this light. That is not a sound method of Bible interpretation. Also, there is not a single scriptural example of anyone who obtained this. That should make anyone suspect of this teaching. Enoch or Elijah might be cited as examples, but they were translated so that they didn’t die. They are not still in their physical bodies on this earth.

There have been periods in church history where certain truths were suppressed, such as the Baptism of the Holy Spirit or healing, and then revived through a move of God. But there was always a remnant of the church that continually experienced these blessings of God. That cannot be shown to be true with this belief that a believer can remain on the earth in his physical body until Jesus comes. Therefore, this passage of scripture concerning never dying is generally accepted as referring to our eternal life that we receive at salvation. The promise of never dying spiritually is made many times in scripture and it is promised to every believer.

There is no higher authority than God

There is no higher authority than God

God’s Judicial Authority

“I have been given complete authority in heaven and on earth.” (Matthew 28:18)

A judge, above all else, must have authority. Our government endows judges with authority through the oath they take to execute justice. The law enforcement and prison systems back up the judge’s authority. The robe that he wears and having everyone in the courtroom stand as he enters, help to emphasize that authority. His gavel and his elevated seat in the courtroom show that he commands the proceedings.
Similarly, God, as the Creator, has the authority to do whatever He deems best with His creation. He is the potter; we are the clay. His throne is high above us in the heavens. His pronouncements are final. There is no higher authority than God.
God will judge every wrong act ever committed every sinful motive, every evil word. The sentence for these crimes is eternal separation from God and His holiness.
But there are those who will live in safety with God. These are the ones who have accepted Christ‘s payment for our sin when He died on the cross. Our loving Saviour, Jesus Christ, paid the sentence pronounced by the Perfect Judge. God sees these “sinners saved by grace” as righteous in His courtroom. Therefore, they will live eternally in the love, peace, and joy of God’s presence.

Your View of God Really Matters……..

Are you ready to stand before the Perfect Judge who has all authority? Remember, God’s standard of justice is perfection. Will He see your shortcomings, or will He see Jesus’ perfect sacrifice? It’s your choice.

Accountable Before God

When Annas the high priest questioned Jesus about his disciples and his teaching (John 18:19), Jesus answered directly, “I have spoken openly to the world . . . I always taught in synagogues or at the temple, where all the Jews come together. I said nothing in secret. Why question me? Ask those who heard me. Surely they know what I said” (John 18:20-21, NIV).

Jesus confronted Annas with the awesome principle that God holds people accountable, not just for what they have heard or know, but for what they have had opportunity to hear and know, with churches on every corner, with religious radio broadcasts, with Christian television programming, with evangelistic crusades and festivals and services and movies, we have enormous accountability before God!

It doesn’t matter if you have ever tuned in to or listened to or read or participated in any of the above. You and I have had the opportunity to do so, and for that we will be held accountable by God.

The Grave Clothes

Upon hearing the news of the empty tomb, Peter and John ran to see for themselves. Peter confronted the evidence, but he was confused. At that instant, he must have been angrier than ever. He must have surmised that the enemies of Jesus who had dared to crucify Him, had now taken the body for who knew what purpose!

John quietly looked around. He noticed that the grave clothes were totally unlike those of Lazarus, which had been just a pile of stinking rags by the time Martha had finished unwrapping him. These grave clothes were lying, not as though someone had removed them from the body, but as though the body were still inside! The face cloth was situated where the face would have been, with the few inches of the neck separating it from the rest of the shroud. As he studied the evidence, it must have gradually dawned on him that the grave clothes looked like an empty cocoon! They looked as though the body had just evaporated up through them! Then John knew! (John 20:8). The body hadn’t evaporated. Jesus had risen from the dead!

Our loving God is always near—forever by our side

READ: John 20:19-29

Jesus came, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, “Peace to you!” —John 20:26

At our church we often sing the beautiful song by Ron and Carol Harris: “In This Very Room.” It begins, “In this very room there’s quite enough love for one like me.” This song reminds me that although there is great encouragement in gathering with other Christians for worship, the important thing is that Christ is present. But it goes beyond that. He is with us not just at church but in every room of our lives.

I wonder where you’re reading this—a kitchen, a coffee shop, a prison cell, a military post? Perhaps you’re in a hospital or a courtroom. It may be a room that reflects everything that’s right in your life or a place that represents all that’s wrong. And you might be afraid.

In the aftermath of the awful reality of Jesus’ crucifixion, His followers met in a familiar room. John records that “when the doors were shut [locked] where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, ‘Peace be with you’” (John 20:19). A week later it happened again when Jesus entered through locked doors to bring peace through His presence (vv.26-29).

Wherever you are today, “There’s quite enough hope and quite enough power to chase away any gloom, for Jesus, Lord Jesus, is in this very room.” —David McCasland

When in the midst of life with its problems,
Bent with our toil and burdens we bear;
Wonderful thought and deep consolation:
Jesus is always there. —Lillenas

Our loving God is always near—forever by our side.

May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

Receiving Your Money Miracle: Know God

by Pastor Andre Butler

And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he

distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were

set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would

John 6:11

Scripture says that Jesus already knew what He was going to do. To whom

did Jesus give thanks? To God, the Father. For what did He give thanks?

For the fact that God was going to provide a miracle.

The first key to receiving your miracle is knowing the God who is

making you rich. I’m not talking about knowing just with your mental

understanding; I’m talking about knowing with spiritual revelation who

He is, and what He is doing. One good message about prosperity will not

make you prosperous. Only a lifestyle of studying the Word of God

concerning this subject and living it will make you prosperous.

Everything You Wanted and More! (Jesus Turned Water Into wine)

Everything You Wanted and More! (Jesus Turned Water Into wine)

And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of

the feast. And they bare it. When the ruler of the feast had tasted

the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was (but the

servants which drew the water knew);

John 2:8-9

Jesus told the servants, “Fill the waterpots with water.” They followed

instructions fully, filling the pots to the brim. By a miracle of God,

the waterpots now held expensive wine instead of water. The governor

called the bridegroom and said, “Hey, you saved the best wine for last.

This isn’t ordinary!”

Once again, Jesus provided a financial miracle. And once again, He

didn’t just provide enough; He provided everything they wanted and

more. What group of people could drink up to 180 gallons of wine at the

end of a party? God is in the business of providing miracles, and He

wants to provide financial miracles for you!

Through Faith, We Understand That The Worlds Were Framed By The Word Of God

THROUGH FAITH, WE UNDERSTAND THAT THE WORLDS WERE FRAMED BY
THE WORD OF GOD

And he said unto them,
cast the net on the right side of the boat, and ye shall find. They cast
therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fish
(John 21:6)

On a certain occasion, after His resurrection, Our Lord
Jesus appeared to His disciples as they were rounding off an unsuccessful
fishing expedition. The disciples had toiled all night at sea and caught
nothing. When Jesus appeared to them in the morning, He asked if they caught
anything, and they reply was negative. Jesus then said to them, “Cast the net on the right side of the ship
and you shall find”
(John 21:6). The Bible says, “…they threw the net out and could not pull it back in, because they had
caught so many fish”
(John 21:6 TEV).

Now, the big question is: “Where did all the fish suddenly
come from?” The disciples were professional fishermen, and knew all the
intricacies of fishing, yet they couldn’t catch any fish, until the Master gave
the Word. The fish came from the Word of The Master! The Bible says, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped
for. The evidence of things not seen…….through faith, we understand that the
worlds were framed by the Word of God
(Hebrews 11:1-3). The fishes were
framed by the Word of Our Lord Jesus Christ!

In Genesis 1:20 the Bible says God spoke and commanded the
ocean to swarm with fish and all sea life, and the water brought forth fishes. Now,
Jesus, the Living Word of God, speaks again and His Words go out to frame the
fishes. Here, we learn that we can speak the creative word of faith to negative
circumstances and effect a change. Our words, like the words of the Master,
have creative ability, because as He is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17).
No wonder the Bible says you shall have whatsoever you say (Mark 11:23).

This is one of the secrets to a worry-free life; knowing
that your words can create the realities you want to see in your life. All you
need do is think and talk the Word. Keep talking and calling real what God has
said concerning you, even in the face of unfavourable circumstances. That way,
you’ll effect changes in your job, finances, family, business, academics,
health or character; changes that are consistent with the will of God for you.

CONFESSION

The creative Word of
God is in my heart and in my mouth today, prevailing in my life and effecting
changes in the circumstances around me to conform with God’s Will for my life. I’m
a success and a victor forever, because The Word of God is my life, and it has
delivered to me an everlasting inheritance in Christ Jesus! Amen!

Share God’s around

And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us (Romans 5:5)

The Bible tells us in 1 John 4:8 that “God is love“; His very nature is love, and you have His love-nature in you as one who’s born again. That means all of God‘s love is in your spirit, so you can’t have more of God’s love than you already have today. According to our opening scripture; “….the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us” (Romans 5:5). The question then is what are you going to do with all of this love that’s in your heart?

John 3:16 gives us an example of what to do with the love of God, it says, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son….” God so loved us and reached out to us even at a time when we didn’t know Him or care about Him! He sent Jesus to win us and reconcile us to Himself, not counting our sins against us. He did this for us in Christ Jesus.

And now the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:19 that God has committed to us the ministry of reconciliation. We have the responsibility of reconciling others to Him. We’re to reach out to our world; to the hurting and the loveless that have no hope and give them the love of God that’s in our hearts.

But to do this you need to be filled with the spirit; you actually can’t share God’s love except you’re filled with the spirit. So if you haven’t received the Holy Spirit, you can do so even now. Say this in faith: “Heavenly Father, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I receive the Holy Spirit into my heart to live in me, to help me share your love to others, Amen!”. The Holy Spirit is the One that energizes you to do the work of God and share His love with others.

PRAYERS

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your love that’s in my heart; it’s the same great love wherewith You’ve loved me! I make a difference in my world today as I touch everyone I meet with Your love. The world will see and acknowledge your love in my life to the glory and praise of Your Holy Name, in Christ Jesus’s Name. Amen!
