Give us this day our daily bread

The LORD’s Prayer (Matthew 6:9-13)

Our Father in heaven,

Hallowed be Your Name.

Your kingdom come.

Your will be done

On earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our debts,

As we forgive our debtors,

And do not lead us into temptation,

But deliver us from the evil one.

For Yours is the kingdom and

The power and glory forever. Amen!

May Our God The Almighty prosper Nigeria and Israel and defend us from all our enemies in Jesus Christ Name, Amen!

God loves you. He knows your name

“How great is the love the father has lavished on us…..” 1 John 3:1 NIV

God knows everything there is to know about you, including your past, present and future. He hasn’t missed a thing, and will never miss even the tiniest details of your life, for He neither sleeps nor slumbers.

He knows your name: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine” (Isaiah 43:1 NKJV).

He also knows your address: “I know….where you dwell…” (Revelation 2:13 NKJV).

And here’s the most amazing part. Even with full knowledge of your dirty past and present, He still loves you so dearly!

His love for you existed before you were born and it will still be there after you’ve gone to be with Him in paradise.

It is important that we hold to the truth that God never stops loving us even when He’s grieved by our actions.

“Why is that so important?” you ask.

Because God’s love is the magnet that draws us back to Him every time.

Caution: Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? God forbid! How shall we who have died to sin live any longer in it? (Romans 6:1-2)

May Our God The Almighty prosper Nigeria and Israel and defend us from all our enemies in Jesus Christ Name, Amen!

Invoking God’s mercy.

Invoking God’s mercy.

“Save me from the hand of my brother Esau for I am afraid he will come and attack me and also the mothers with their children.” (Genesis 32:11)

Jacob was hunted by his past acts of fraud and deceit against his brother Esau, at the time he was about to meet him on his return back to his country. He was so afraid that Esau would take revenge for his past evil deeds by killing him. He however prayed to God to save him from his brother and God had mercy on him, God caused him to find favour before his brother and both were reconciled miraculously.

We sometime come to a point in our lives that we find ourselves in some sort of a quagmire and are unable to go forward. At such times, we need to recall our past and wattle any issues that we may come up with before God by invoking God’s mercy.

Jacob may not have been able to go beyond that point in his life but for divine intervention and mercy.

There is need also for anyone who finds himself in such situation to be very open and sincere before and with God. He must be willing to lay bare everything before God without holding anything back just as Jacob did when he told God that he was ‘a cheat and a fraud’ (which is the meaning of his name) when asked who he was (Genesis 32:27-28).

“Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” (Hebrew 4:16)

May Our God The Almighty prosper Nigeria and Israel and defend us from all our enemies in Jesus Christ Name, Amen!

See A Man Diligent In His Work. He Shall Stand Before Kings. He Shall Not Stand Before Mean Men.

See A Man Diligent In His Work, He Shall Stand Before Kings, He Shall Not Stand Before Mean Men

“Seest thou a man diligent in his business? He shall stand before Kings; he shall not stand before mean men.” (Proverbs 22:29)

An army officer stopped to have his shoes shined by an Indian boy on the street. The boy launched into his task with such enthusiasm and vigour that the man was utterly amazed. He worked diligently until the leather sparkled with a brilliant lustre. The officer asked the boy why he took so much time to polish the shoes; the boy replied

“Last week Jesus came into my heart and now l belong to Him. Every time I shine someone’s shoes, I do the very best I can because I want Him to be pleased with me.”

Diligent people are always willing to work hard and make a very good use of everything their hands find to do, even when it is not always convenient. They work hard not because they want to become famous, rich or admired, but to serve and please God.

They prosper, make profit, enjoy favour, are successful and reap prosperity through hard-work.

Diligence is a vital part of wise living.

Be industrious and try to put care and effort into what you do as this will bring in blessings.

A diligent man will stand before kings.

Chores can be fun if seen as divine opportunities to serve God!

May Our God The Almighty prosper Nigeria and Israel and defend us from all our enemies in Jesus Christ Name, Amen!

MAN DISPLAY BRAVERY, DRIVES BURNING LORRY FOR SIX KILOMETRES. CROWD DEFIES FIRE TO STEAL FISH.

The rare bravery displayed by a driver of Edewor Seafood Nigeria Limited, Mr Edosa Idahor, could be likened to incedible roles usually played by the British film character, James Bond, as Idahor drove a burning lorry for six kilometers.

The rear tyre of the lorry with registration number, EDO AK 341 UJE, burst while in motion and caught fire, but the Edo State born driver, in an attempt to salvage the vehicle from being razed completely, remained in it, trying all he could to detach its head from the container.

He drove on from Berger area of Ogun State, where the tyre burst and caught fire, until where he eventually stopped at Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministry area on LagosIbadan Expressway, even against sympathisers’ advice that he should save his life first.

Idahor, who sustained burns, to the amazement of bystanders and sympathisers, succeeded in detaching the head of the lorry from the burning container after about 40 minutes of battling the situation.

But the unnamed owner of the lorry-load of frozen fish was said to have passed out during the encounter to salvage the lorry and was rushed to an undisclosed hospital in Ibafo, Ogun State.

Mr Idahor said the fire started when the rear tyre burst and went into flames at Berger area of Ogun State.

He said he had to drive on because there were too many filling stations around the area where the tyre burst and that stopping the vehicle there could be very disastrous.

He said he had to drive on, even against the risk of losing his life, because he was worried about the amount of goods involved and the articulated vehicle.

He said the vehicle was coming from idumota area of Lagos State, and was heading for Warri, Delta State.

But as some sympathised with the driver and praised him for his bravery, others defied the fire to steal the fish cartons of inside the container.

As at the time leaving the scene by 4pm, the crowd was still busy stealing cartons of fish as policemen were yet to arrive. However, the men of the fire service from Ogun State were busy making frantic efforts to put out the fire on the container.
