God’s grace is sufficient unto all

When you are weighed down by the mistakes and sins of your past, run to God and lean on His everlasting grace! Why? For He will be merciful to your unrighteousness, and your sins and your lawless deeds He will remember no more! Hallelujah! Amen!

May GOD bless Nigeria, America and Israel and take care of us; May GOD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the LORD lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

What is growing in the garden of your life?

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition,

with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends

all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally,

brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever

is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable – if anything is excellent or

praiseworthy – think about such things.”

-Philippians 4:6-8

Spring is the time for new growth. Trees bud, flowers bloom, and birds sing their

lovely songs again.

How about you? What is growing in the garden of your life? Good friends? Beautiful

prayers? Breathtaking life experiences? Lovely flowers? Fruit? Vegetables? Pretty

shrubs? Weeds growing out of control here, there, and everywhere? Whatever remains

in your garden is your responsibility.

Perhaps there are flowers growing in your garden that are a surprise. You did not

plant them. Perhaps they flew into your garden from somebody else’s planting. If

you like them, let them be.

Weeds also ride the wind into the garden of life and grow there. Perhaps the weeds

came from your grandparent’s garden, your parent’s garden, or a friend’s garden.

Weeds come in the form of persistent frustration and disappointment, poor relationships,

wild and non-productive growth, and separation from God. Flowers need care, just

as friendships do, but weeds grow even when neglected. In any case, you get to

choose whether the weeds stay or not.

Spring is an invitation to pull out the weeds and overgrowth of negativity from

our lives and concentrate on the beauty of new growth.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for the new life you’ve given me through the sacrifice

of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Proverbs 26:20

“Where there is no wood, the fire goes out; And where there is no talebearer, strife ceases.”

Wildfires are out of control and can be devastating if not put out quickly. Their flames ruthlessly creep acre by acre burning up anything in their path. It’s the vegetation and wind that keeps it going.

Gossip works the same way and is just as destructive in other ways. Someone once said, “Everyone holds two buckets in their hands, one with water, the other with gas, we choose which one to pour on gossip.”

This verse reminds us that when a “tale-bearer” is not present, neither is gossip or contention.

It’s great advice from the world’s wisest man on preventing relationship fires. Here’s how to use the bucket of water…First, declare where you stand. Simply respond with, “I’m not going to comment or pick that up, I wouldn’t want someone fueling gossip about me. Second, I’ll ask the person, since that’s only right, and I’ll need to tell them that you brought this to me. This will stop them from bringing anymore gossip for certain.

Make it the goal of your life to be an encouraging, positive person and you’ll attract those kind of people in your life. if you will notice, tale-bearers attract other tale-bearers.

Use the bucket of gas you have to encourage the dreams and accomplishments of others.. Use the bucket of water to keep a healthy spiritual life.

1 Thou shalt not see thy brother’s ox or his sheep go astray, and hide thyself from them: thou shalt in any case bring them again unto thy brother. 2 And if thy brother be not nigh unto thee, or if thou know him not, then thou shalt bring it unto thine own house, and it shall be with thee until thy brother seek after it, and thou shalt restore it to him again. 3 In like manner shalt thou do with his ass; and so shalt thou do with his raiment; and with all lost thing of thy brother’s, which he hath lost, and thou hast found, shalt thou do likewise: thou mayest not hide thyself. 4 Thou shalt not see thy brother’s ass or his ox fall down by the way, and hide thyself from them: thou shalt surely help him to lift them up again.

5 The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God. 6 If a bird’s nest chance to be before thee in the way in any tree, or on the ground, whether they be young ones, or eggs, and the dam sitting upon the young, or upon the eggs, thou shalt not take the dam with the young: 7 But thou shalt in any wise let the dam go, and take the young to thee; that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days. 8 When thou buildest a new house, then thou shalt make a battlement for thy roof, that thou bring not blood upon thine house, if any man fall from thence. 9 Thou shalt not sow thy vineyard with divers seeds: lest the fruit of thy seed which thou hast sown, and the fruit of thy vineyard, be defiled. 10 Thou shalt not plow with an ox and an ass together. 11 Thou shalt not wear a garment of divers sorts, as of woollen and linen together. 12 Thou shalt make thee fringes upon the four quarters of thy vesture, wherewith thou coverest thyself.

13 If any man take a wife, and go in unto her, and hate her, 14 And give occasions of speech against her, and bring up an evil name upon her, and say, I took this woman, and when I came to her, I found her not a maid: 15 Then shall the father of the damsel, and her mother, take and bring forth the tokens of the damsel’s virginity unto the elders of the city in the gate: 16 And the damsel’s father shall say unto the elders, I gave my daughter unto this man to wife, and he hateth her; 17 And, lo, he hath given occasions of speech against her, saying, I found not thy daughter a maid; and yet these are the tokens of my daughter’s virginity. And they shall spread the cloth before the elders of the city. 18 And the elders of that city shall take that man and chastise him; 19 And they shall amerce him in an hundred shekels of silver, and give them unto the father of the damsel, because he hath brought up an evil name upon a virgin of Israel: and she shall be his wife; he may not put her away all his days. 20 But if this thing be true, and the tokens of virginity be not found for the damsel: 21 Then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father’s house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die: because she hath wrought folly in Israel, to play the whore in her father’s house: so shalt thou put evil away from among you. 22 If a man be found lying with a woman married to an husband, then they shall both of them die, both the man that lay with the woman, and the woman: so shalt thou put away evil from Israel. 23 If a damsel that is a virgin be betrothed unto an husband, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her; 24 Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not, being in the city; and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbour’s wife: so thou shalt put away evil from among you. 25 But if a man find a betrothed damsel in the field, and the man force her, and lie with her: then the man only that lay with her shall die: 26 But unto the damsel thou shalt do nothing; there is in the damsel no sin worthy of death: for as when a man riseth against his neighbour, and slayeth him, even so is this matter: 27 For he found her in the field, and the betrothed damsel cried, and there was none to save her. 28 If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found; 29 Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel’s father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days. 30 A man shall not take his father’s wife, nor discover his father’s skirt.

For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. 16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification. 17 For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) 18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. 19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. 20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: 21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

Divisions Not Allowed In God’s House

“Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.” (Corinthians 1:10)

If there will be unity in a family, church or a group of people, the role of the leader cannot be over emphasized. A leader should be the unifying force over those he or she leads. In this regard, the leader should ensure his subordinates’ opposing or dissenting views are harmonized in a way as to carry all of them along their common objective for being together in the first place. Unfortunately, some leaders deliberately encourage divisions, by sowing seeds of discord and turning one subordinate against the other. They call it divide and rule ‘strategy’. That is satanic! Some leaders encourage or provide the platform for subordinates to create camps. Not Jesus! As long as Jesus was physically present, He was the rallying point of unity for all His disciples. One day, two brother – James and John brought their mother to lobby Jesus, so that they would secure the highest positions in Heaven, right beside the Lord Himself (Matthew 20:20-24). When the other disciples heard of it, they were very angry! That move could have broken the twelve into separate camps. But the Lord handled it with wisdom and they remained united without killing the desire of the Zebedees to attain heavenly greatness.

It is very challenging to unite people with diverse backgrounds, goals, interest and understanding. However, it is very easy to cause division. One hallmark of a true leader is that he or she is not easily carried away by comments or selfish actions of the team he or she is leading, as the group goal is uppermost in his or her heart. Another person who could not stand God’s church being broken into camps was Paul. In His days, converts began to break into at least four different camps right in the church in Corinth but with wisdom, Paul resolved this and unified Christ’s church. Are you instrumental to the division of God’s church? You are calling for God’s judgement. Repent and restitute. Go and meet the people you sowed those seeds of discord into and compel them to reverse their rebellious acts. This will be good evidence of your repentance.

A body that is dismembered cannot operate as whole. A part of the body can never be whole. Division limits us. Strive for peace and unity.

May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

Believe in The Name of Jesus Christ

There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.

Acts 4:12, NKJV

Although God is the Creator of us all, there are two conditions you and I must meet before we can be called God’s children. One is that we must receive Jesus, or open the door of our hearts and invite Him to come in. The other is that we must believe in His Name.

Believing in His Name means we must be willing to commit our lives to all that He is as represented by His Name. And His Name is Lord Jesus Christ.

The qualification for being a child of God by believing on His Name means much more than just head knowledge. It is not just giving intellectual assent to the fact that the Name Lord Jesus Christ is the label attached to the Person. It means to rest in Jesus, to put all of our trust on Him alone for forgiveness and salvation.

God is spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in truth

John 4:24, “God [is] a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship [him] in spirit and in truth.”

Man dwells primarily in the physical and emotional realm, but God is a Spirit (1 Sam. 16:7). To have true fellowship with God, we have to relate to God on the spiritual level.

In order to make this possible, God changed our spirit. At salvation, our spirit became totally new (11 Cor. 5:17). It is now righteous and truly holy (Eph. 4:24). It is now exactly the way Jesus is, because our born again spirit is the spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ (1 Jn. 4:17; 1 Cor. 6:17; Rom. 8:9; Gal. 4:6).

In our spirits we are worthy to come before God and worship Him without any fear. Our spirit is the only part of us that is worthy. That’s why we must worship Him in spirit and in truth.

When we come before God dwelling on all our failures and problems, we are not approaching Him through our spirit. Our spirit is not our problem. Our born again spirit is perfect.

There is a place for mentioning our problems and failures but it’s not the part of us that has been saved and is in fellowship with God. We must always base our relationship with the Father on who we are in our spirit through Christ Jesus.

My prayer request and my confessions for the year

O Lord God, I come to You in the Name of Jesus Christ. Your Word says “…….Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Acts 2:21). I ask Jesus to come into my heart to be the Lord of my life. I receive eternal life into my spirit, and according to Romans 10:9, “That if thou shalt confess wit thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shall be saved,” I declare that I am saved; I am born again; I am a child of God! I now have Christ dwelling in me, and greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world! (1 John 4:4). I now walk in the consciousness of my new life in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah! Amen!

I’m creating opportunities for others to benefit from my prosperity and that way, I’m contributing to the development of my country’s economy. I’ve already overcome the world and its systems, so I am reigning in life and enjoying the good of the land! I’m waxing great and making progress, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing me forth into a life of continuous victory! I refuse to be subject to the crippling principles of the world, because I walk in the light of my victory today and every day, in the Mighty Name of Our Lord Jesus Christ; Amen!

Dear Heavenly Father, I pray that Your Word will grow mightily and prevail in the life of every child born into the body of Christ. I ask that you grant the parents the wisdom they required to train up their children in the nurture and admonition of The Lord, such that they’ll be influenced by Your Word and established upon the truth of the gospel, in Jesus Christ Name. Amen!

Dear Heavenly Father, I’m so glad to be the object of Your deep love and affection! I thank you for loving me with such great and everlasting love! Your love for me is indeed higher than the highest mountains, and deeper than the ocean, I rest and rejoice in this love today and every day of my life, in Jesus Christ Name Amen!

I’ve been separated from the world of sin, death and destruction unto the glory – life I’m experiencing the glorious liberty of the sons of God! I rejoice today and every day of my life, knowing that I’ve been accepted in the beloved and chosen of God unto a life of victory and supernatural prosperity in Jesus Christ Name Amen!

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for the new life in Christ; thank You for making me a new creation in Christ Jesus; now I know that everything that’s not consistent with the new creation life has completely passed away from my life, and all things have become new! Thank You for granting me the life and nature of righteousness, and for ushering me into the supernatural life of victory, having begotten me through Your Spirit, by the Word; in Jesus Christ Name Amen!

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for setting me on the path that I should follow in life; the path of success, increase, progress and prosperity! You’ve brought me into the glorious life of Christ where there are no hindrances or limitations, but victories all the way, in Jesus Christ Name Amen!

Dear Father, I thank You for strengthening me through Your Word today and every day of my life; thank You for all the victories and triumphs that I experience everyday as a result of putting my faith in You to work. I’m encouraged and rightly positioned for the victorious life as You lead me daily in triumphal procession, in Jesus Christ Name Amen!

I’m reigning in life as a king! The circumstances of life are subject to me because I have the dominion of Christ Jesus. I’m seated with Christ Jesus in Heavenly places, far above principalities, power, might, and dominions, for I’ve been elevated to the place of authority, in Jesus Christ Name Amen!

Dear Lord, thank You for Your work of righteousness that’s increasing greatly upon the earth in our day. I declare that the gospel of Jesus Christ will continually prevail and gain the ascendancy in the hearts of men all over the world, as more labourers rise up to the challenge of the harvest, in Jesus Christ Name Amen!

Dear Father, thank You for granting me the power to change negative and hopeless situations. That power is working in me mightily, and I declare that the circumstances and situations of my life are in sync with Your Will and purpose for me, in Jesus Christ Name Amen!

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for making Your Word available to me. I declare that I’m increasing in knowledge and understanding, and Your Word is producing in me what it talks about. I have the mindset of a victor for Your Word is at work in me mightily, in Jesus Christ Name Amen!

Dear Lord, I’m delighted to serve You and do Your will, knowing that You’ve crowned me with so much glory and have beautified my life with Your Holy Presence. I thank You for the realization Your Word has brought to me today, that I’m the fulfilment of Your dream; I declare that Your good pleasure will forever prosper in my hands, in Jesus Christ Name Amen!

My path in life is the path of the just, which shines brighter and brighter unto the perfect day! Thus for me, today is better than yesterday, and my tomorrow is better than my today. I’m on an upward and forward journey, and the story of my life is the testimony of God’s grace, mercy and kindness! In Jesus Christ Name Amen!

Dear Father, I thank You for Your Spirit Who causes me to do Your perfect Will and live today, in the consciousness of my responsibility as a minister of reconciliation. I pray that my life will continually be for Your glory as I live every day, propagating Your Word of salvation with the intent that everyone in my sphere of contact will not only hear but believe and receive the gospel of Christ Jesus in Jesus Christ Name Amen!

Dear Father, Your Word is my life, and the light by which I see; I thank You for the prevailing power of Your Word in my life and over every circumstance that I face! As I give myself wholly to studying and meditating on Your Holy Word, my prosperity is assured, in Jesus Christ Name Amen!

Dear Father, I thank You for opening my eyes to the reality that all things are mine. All the wealth and vast resources of Your Kingdom are mine because I’m the seed of Abraham! I refuse to lack since You’re My Shepherd, Who leads and guides me in the path of abundance and supernatural prosperity, in Jesus Christ Name Amen!

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for all my friends and loved ones and my fellow brethren in Christ Jesus whom You use to bless me. I thank You for their increase and prosperity; You’re causing them to move forward and make progress in every area of their lives, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ Amen!

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your immense and everlasting love for me! You’ve set me on the path that I should follow in life; it’s the path of righteousness, peace, success, prosperity and divine health! Thank You for being my good Shepherd, Who loved me enough to lay His life down for me, in Jesus Christ Name Amen!

Dear Heavenly Father, as I turn my attention away from all distractions unto You, speaking in other tongues, I thank You because Your Word comes to me as rhema; and as I speak forth that rhema – word, negative circumstances are changed, and hopeless situations are turned around, in Jesus Christ Name Amen!

I’m not a child of chance; predestination is at work in me. I have a glorious destiny in God and I’m being guided by the Spirit of God every day, to take the right and necessary steps in the direction of God’s perfect will for my life. Nothing can stop me from fulfilling my destiny in God Amen!

I’m building my life on a solid foundation of success and prosperity through the words I speak, for the power to be all that God wants me to be lies in my mouth. Therefore I use my mouth rightly; I’m enjoying the full benefits of salvation as consummated by the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ; the words I speak are in consonance with the eternal Word of God in Jesus Christ Name Amen!

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word that instils disciple in me. I have the ability to make quality decisions and stick with them, irrespective of the contrary conditions that may tend to dissuade me. As I exercise myself in Your Word today, I’m disciplined to do what it says and stand by every decision I make in Jesus Christ Name Amen!

O Heavenly Father, thank You for www.wordpress.com. Please keep them, protect them and keep giving them better creative ideas and innovations to enable them serve Your people to Your glory alone in Christ Jesus Amen!

The Wisdom of God guides me in the way that I should go. I only act and go in the direction that the Spirit leads because that’s the path of success! My heart is open today, to receive divine instructions that’ll guide me in the path of my prosperity and destiny in Christ Jesus Name! Amen!

Our Father in Heaven, Hallowed be Your Name. Your Kingdom come. Your Will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debt, as we forgive our debtors by Your grace. And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever, Amen!

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over, surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever and ever, Amen!

ARISE, O Compatriots, Nigeria’s call obey, to serve our fatherland with love and strength and faith. The labour of our heroes past shall never be in vain, to serve with heart and might, one nation bound in freedom, peace and unity.

O GOD of creation, direct our noble cause, guide thou our leaders right, help our youths the truth to know, in love and honesty to grow and living just and true. Great lofty height attain, to build a nation where peace and justice reign, Amen!

I pledge to Nigeria my country, to be faithful loyal and honest. To serve Nigeria with all my strength, to defend her unity and uphold her honour and glory, so help me God. Amen!

I choose to serve The LORD My God with my Body and to love Him with all my strength, with all my soul, with all my spirit and with all my resources, to His Glory in Christ Jesus, Amen!

In the Name of Jesus Christ, may The LORD condemn you satan on behalf my family, my father’s household, my brothers: and my parents, in Jesus Christ Name! Amen!

You have been my Help; don’t leave me, don’t abandon me, O GOD, My Saviour. My father and mother may abandon me, but The LORD will take care of me. Teach me, LORD, what You want me to do, and lead me along a safe path, because I have many enemies. Don’t abandon me to my enemies, who attack me with lies and threats. I know that I will live to see The LORD’s Goodness in this present life. Trust in The LORD, o my soul! Have faith, do not despair. Trust in The LORD! Amen!

O LORD GOD! You are God of possibility! Father my income will increase this year by 700% to enable me take care of my needs, the needs of Your Children and the needs of Your Church and still have much more in store, to Your Glory in Christ Jesus, Amen!

Dear LORD, thank You for teaching me the secret of supernatural success. I declare that I am excelling in every area of my life by Your Grace alone! I thank You for I know that as I meditate on Your Word, all that concerns me is perfected in Christ Jesus. Amen!

Heavenly Father, I declare that Your Word and the influence of righteousness is growing and prevailing all over Nigeria, and the world, and the works of darkness are defeated! Your peace will continuously reign supreme in our land and all over the world; I pray for the abundant supply of Your Wisdom to our leaders, to govern the affairs of the nation in righteousness, peace and justice, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!

I now surrender myself entirely as a slave of righteousness for God’s Holy purpose! Amen! For my gain is a life fully dedicated to God, and the result is eternal life. For sin pays its wage-death; but God’s free gift is eternal life in union with Christ Jesus Our Lord! Amen!

I have died to sin! I am no longer a slave of sin, but I now live in fellowship with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Sin no longer rule in my mortal body nor do I obey the desires of my natural self. I shall not surrender any part of myself to sin to be used for wicked purposes. Instead, I give myself to God, as those who have been brought from death to life, and I also surrender my whole being to Him to be used for righteous purposes. Sin is no longer my master, for I do not live under law but under God’s grace! Amen!

By the Blood of Jesus Christ, I am now put right with God! Amen!

Now that I have been put right with God through faith, I have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. He has brought me by faith into this experience of God’s grace, in which I now live. And so I boast of the hope I have of sharing God’s glory! I also boast of my troubles, because I know that troubles produces endurance, endurance brings God’s approval, and His approval creates hope. This hope does not disappoint me, for God has poured out His love into my heart by means of the Holy Spirit, who is God’s gift to me! Amen!

I know that God loves me and has chosen me to be His own! Amen!

May God’s Grace and Peace be mine in Christ Jesus! Amen!

I always speak as God wants me to, because He has judged me worthy to be entrusted with the Good News, I do not try to please people, but to please God, who tests my motives! Amen!

I believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so I believe that God will take back with Jesus those who have died believing in Him! Amen!

It’s impossible for you to fail

This should be one of our favourite scriptures. It should always remind us of the fact that we’re not walking alone, and assures us that God is more interested in our successes than we could ever be. The Lord is the One perfecting our lives, ensuring success in everything we do. Hence, it’s impossible for us to fail!

Well, your personal experience of life may have been one of failure. However, the Bible says “…as He (Jesus) is so are we in this world” (1 John 4:17). Jesus never failed and there wasn’t a moment in His earthly ministry He wished He never came. You also must come to the realization that you shouldn’t fail; failure is inconsistent with your new nature in Christ Jesus.

Ignorance is what leads some Christians into difficulty. Hosea 4:6, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…”without the adequate knowledge of the Word, you can fail or remain in poverty or even be bound by one form of sickness or the other. So many have died this way in ignorance.

You need to know that God doesn’t get any glory from our failures or sufferings. He is glorified every time we take our stand on His Word!

Get into the Word today and walk everyday of your life in the glory of Our Heavenly Father! Amen!

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for bringing me out of darkness into Your marvellous light. Faith. A demonstration of God’s Word

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1)

The Scripture above is the best definition of faith you can get. God had to define it for us because He knew we weren’t going to get a better definition in the world. A substance is a real physical matter that you can touch or relate with. If faith is the substance of your hope, it means faith is a real thing; it’s the tangible expression of your hope.

The Bible tells us of Father Abraham, who “being not weak in faith, considered not his body now dead, when he was about a hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God” (Romans 4:19-20). Abraham tangibly expressed his hope by giving praise to god; he didn’t allow his physical condition to discourage him. If there’s no substance or tangible expression to your hope, then there is no faith.

Faith is the evidence – the title deed of things not seen. A title deed is a legal document proving your right to a property; it maybe a piece of land or a house. This document authenticates your claim to the property. The same way, the Word of God is enough proof that you have what God has given to you. It doesn’t matter if others don’t believe you because they can’t see it, you already have the evidence and that’s what matters! Amen!

God cannot disappoint you, His faithfulness is forever sure. Hope and Faithfulness

Hope links with the future. Moreover, there is a link between hope and God because He is the One who controls tomorrow. Anyone in charge of tomorrow is definitely able to uphold hope.

Revelation 1:8 says, “I am Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the Ending, says the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, The Almighty”.

Hope is linked with tomorrow and God is the One who holds tomorrow. Do not let any man deceive you: no man holds tomorrow except God. This is why James warns against boasting about tomorrow while acknowledging that we need God – the one in control of tomorrow – to enter into tomorrow of our dreams (James 4:13-16). Many who bragged about tomorrow never lived to see it.

Another way God is linked with hope is through His faithfulness. Deuteronomy 7:9 says, “Know therefore that the LORD thy God, He is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that loves Him and keep His commandments to a thousand generations.”

God is extremely faithful. The quality of His faithfulness in keeping promises and agreements is unparalleled. There are some people around us who make simple promises that they can easily fulfil yet, they fail to fulfil them because they lack the discipline in faithfulness.

Putting all your hope in an unfaithful man can lead to great embarrassment and loss when the fellow suddenly disappoints you at a crucial time.

God cannot disappoint you! Numbers 23:19 says, “God is not a man, that He should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath He said, and shall He not do it? Or hath He spoken, and shall He not make it good?”

God doesn’t only keep covenants but He is the greatest covenant keeper as He can fulfil His promise to an individual or a family for up to a thousand generations!

What a wonderful God we serve!

1 Thessalonians 5:17

Put pressure on the devil!

Prayer isn’t voluntary to the child of God; it’s a
compulsory spiritual activity. We discover many times from the scriptures how
the Lord Jesus Christ separated Himself from the people to pray. He also used
several parables to teach the people,
“……..that men ought always to pray, and not to faint” (Luke 18:1).
Throughout the scriptures, much emphasis was placed on the place of prayer in
the life of a Christian.

Every time you spend time to pray, you’re actually putting
pressure on the devil. Too often, many wait until the pressure comes to them
before they pray. I discover that the reason some Christians go through
terrible ordeals in their lives is that they don’t set themselves to pray early
enough. You don’t have to wait until the devil meets you on your dinner table
before you deal with him. Counter his advances ever before he gets to your door
step.

The challenge with many people is they are too lazy to pray.
A man ran into a church crying for help hysterically. “Please pray for me” he
cried “My pregnant wife is in the intensive care unit.” He had nine months to
pray but he didn’t pray. Now he wants emergency prayers. This is why many go
around looking for “Success formula”. It’s like the student who had five months
to prepare for his exams but failed to prepare. Then, on the night before his
exams he began praying to God for help; he took to prayer late.

We’re living in an age where everybody wants everything
fast. There are fast-foods, fast-cars, jet planes, super-computers, and so on.
Now, we want to put God into the same fast-lane and so we inadvertently pray “Fast prayers” for instant results. All
we want to know is how to push some buttons and have God respond quickly.
That’s wrong! Get serious with your life today and make the right changes for
your spiritual development! Amen!

CONFESSION

I am not lazy to pray
nor would I give up on prayer. I refuse to be at satan’s mercy, instead as I
pray, I set up force field that puts pressure on him and his evil devices. And
through my prayer life, I maintain this advantage over him in Jesus Christ’
Name! Amen!

In The Name Of Jesus Christ

IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST

Whatsoever ye shall
ask the Father in My Name, He will
give it you (John 16:23)

All through the Scriptures, there’s no place where
Christians are asked to pray to Our
Lord and Saviour JESUS CHRIST or through
Our Lord and Saviour JESUS CHRIST.

What the Bible teaches is that we pray in the Name of Our Lord and Saviour JESUS CHRIST, for that’s the
right way to pray.

There’re folks who when they pray, would say, “Lord Jesus
Christ, I ask that You grant me such and such in Jesus Christ Name, Amen!.” That’s
wrong. You don’t pray to Our Lord Jesus Christ in His Name, neither do we pray
to our Heavenly Father through the
Name of Our Lord Jesus Christ. We pray to Our Heavenly Father in the Name
of our Lord Jesus Christ. That’s the Bible way to pray.

You may fellowship with Our Lord and Saviour JESUS CHRIST,
and tell Him how much you love Him, and tell Him things that are in your heart,
but you don’t pray to Him.

So, if you have a request to make of Our Heavenly Father and
you want that request granted, do it in
the Name of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, not to Him or through Him. To pray in The Name of Our Lord and Saviour
Jesus Christ means you’re standing in the place of Our Lord Jesus Christ;
you’ve become His voice.

In other words, even though you’re the one asking Our Heavenly Father
for a favour, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ is actually the one doing it,
for you’re asking in His Name

This is why it’s impossible for Our Heavenly Father not to
grant your requests, since you’re asking by faith in the Name of Our Lord and
Saviour Jesus Christ.

Our Lord Jesus Christ has given us the legal right to use
His Name. We have the right of attorney to function in His stead, the same way
a delegated member of a president’s cabinet can represent him at a state
function. When that person arrives at the function, he’ll perform all necessary
protocol in the name of the president, as he’s there in the president’s stead.
They’ll receive him as they would the president. In the same way, you’re in the
place of Our Lord Jesus Christ. So, you can’t pray through Him anymore, He
has delegated His authority to us, the same authority He had on earth to
request anything of Our Heavenly Father and have it granted.

PRAYER

Dear Heavenly Father,
I thank You for teaching me how to pray the right way. I know I’ll always
receive answers to all my prayers as I pray every day in the Name of Our Lord
and Saviour Jesus Christ! Amen!

HOW WATERED IS YOUR TREE? THE FRUITS OF THE SPIRIRT (LOVE,
JOY, PEACE, LONG SUFFERING, GENTLENESS, GOODNESS, FAITH, MEEKNESS, SELF CONTROL)

The easiest way to identify an apple tree is to check its
fruits. In the same way, the Christian is identified by the fruit he or she
bears. The Lord Jesus said, “Yes, the way to identify a tree or a person is by
the kind of fruits produced” (Matthew 7:20 TLB) and how true this statement is!

The fruits you bear must be an evidence of the Zoe; the God –
life in you. In other words, your life is the product of the influence of the
Holy Spirit in your spirit. Love, joy, peace, long suffering, kindness,
goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self control as itemized in Galatians
5:22-23, are the fruit of the recreated human spirit; one that’s fashioned in
the image of Christ. Hallelujah! You’ve been endowed with power and anointed to
bear divine fruit. Nothing can stop you! All you need do is position yourself
in the right environment.

You’ve been endowed with power to cast out demons, to speak
with new tongues, take up serpents, to lay hands on the sick and have them
recover. If you drink any deadly thing it shall not hurt you.

How watered is your tree? Where is it located? What kind of
fruits is it producing; edible or poisonous.

To produce the right fruits you have to stay in the right
environment. The right environment is the river side, where you feast on the
Word, at all times. You must manage your tree very well because our Lord Jesus Christ
said, “…..by their fruits ye shall know them” (Matthew 7:20).

PRAYER

DEAR HEAVENLY FATHER, I THANK YOU FOR
FILLING ME WITH YOUR SPIRIT WHO UNVEILS THE WORD TO MY SPIRIT CAUSING ME TO
ABOUND IN YOUR LOVE AND INCREASE IN KNOWLEDGE AND IN ALL JUDGMENT; THAT I MAY
APPROVE THINGS THAT ARE EXCELLENT, BE SINCERE AND WITHOUT OFFENCE TILL THE DAY
OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST; BEING FILLED WITH THE FRUITS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, WHICH ARE

God Has Given You The Victory, So Stand Firm and Be Unmovable

4:8-37 narrates the inspiring story of a Shuna-mmite wowan. Whenever the
Prophet Elisha went to shunem, he stayed in her house. However, this woman and
her husband didn’t have any child. When Elisha discovered this, he told her to
expect a son, and in due course, she had a son.

Trouble
struck few years later when the child died, but the woman knew what to do. She
quickly dashed off to the Prophet Elisha with only one declaration on her lips,
“It is well”. Though there was a problem, she kept affirming that all was well.
She had an expectation, and she held on to that expectation even when it seemed
impossible; she kept on declaring it until she got it.

Just as this
woman did, you have to look at your situation through the eyes of your spirit.
1 Corinthians 15:57-58 says, “…..thanks
be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable…..” Another
translation says, “……stand firm, let
nothing move you” (NIV). God has given you the victory, so stand firm and
be unmovable. Don’t allow your thoughts and senses rule you, let God’s Word and
His Spirit direct you.

When trouble comes, God’s will is for
something good to come out of it. At such times, you must remember He is with
you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. If He delivered you in the past,
He will do it again. Call those times of deliverance to remembrance and express
your gratitude to God for them. That’s how to trust God and hold on to Him with
joy even in adversity.

What problem
are you facing today? Put God’s Word first, declare what He says about that
situation; be steadfast and unmovable in Him and declare with joy that all is
well! Amen!!!!
