God Wants To Bless Me Big Time

Luke 5:4
When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.”

God wants to bless you—big-time! It was for this reason that He said to Simon, “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.” The deep is where you will find a whole lot of fish. You won’t find them near the shore in shallow waters. But to launch out into the deep is to move away from the comfort of the shoreline.

My friend, God wants you to break away from your comfort zone and step out in faith to do what He has put in your heart. It may be something simple, but which you have never done before or only dreamt of, like attending a care group. A church member did just that and found love. Today, she is happily married.

Now, our Lord Jesus who said, “Launch out into the deep…” also said, “…let down your nets for a catch.” Notice that He used the plural “nets” and not the singular “net”. Beloved, God wants to give you more than what you need. His dream for you is bigger than anything you can ever dream of. Dream big and God will exceed your dream because He delights in giving you exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think. (Ephesians 3:20)

Another church member who was formerly working for someone else had wanted to start his own company. When praying with him, I received a word from the Lord for him to launch out on his own. When he did that, he made a handsome profit at the end of the first month alone! Today, he has more than one company and his businesses are flourishing. God is blessing him beyond his wildest dreams!

Beloved, God wants to bless you beyond your wildest dreams. He did it for Simon who was astonished at the size of the catch of fish. (Luke 5:9) But it was not until Simon launched out into the deep that he ended up with the net-breaking, boat-sinking load of fish. (Luke 5:6–7) You, too, will be astonished at your catch when you step out of your comfort zone and launch out into the deep with the Lord!

Confession – Psalm 91
1. Every decision, vow or promise made by my forefathers, contrary to my divine destiny, loose your hold by fire, in the name of Jesus.
1B. Every legal ground that ancestral or guardian spirits have in my life, be destroyed by the blood of Jesus.
2. Every generational curse of God, resulting from the sin of idolatry on my forefathers, loose your hold, in the name of Jesus.
3. Every ancestral evil altar prospering against me, be dashed against the Rock of Ages, in the name of Jesus.
4. Every ancestral placental manipulation of my life, be reversed, in the name of Jesus.
5. Every evil ancestral life pattern, designed for me through vows, promises and covenants, be reversed, in the name of Jesus.
6. Every hold of any sacrifice ever offered in my family or on my behalf, I break your power in my life, in the name of Jesus.
7. Any ancestral blood shed of animals, or human beings affecting me, loose your hold by the blood of Jesus.
8. Any curse placed on my ancestral line by anybody cheated, maltreated or at the point of death, break now, in the name of Jesus.
9. Every garment of ancestral infirmity, disease, sickness, untimely death, poverty, disfavor, dishonor, shame and failure at the edge of miracles, passed down to my generation, be roasted by fire, in the name of Jesus.
10. Every evil ancestral river flowing down to my generation, I cut you off, in the name of Jesus.
11. Every evil ancestral habit and weakness of moral failures manifesting in my life, loose your grip and release me now, in the name of Jesus.
12. Any power from my family background, seeking to make a shipwreck of my life, be destroyed by the fire of God, in the name of Jesus.
13. Every rage and rampage of ancestral and family spirits, resulting from my being born again, be quenched by the liquid fire of God, in Jesus’ name.
14. Any ancestral power frustrating any area of my life in order to discourage me from following Christ, receive multiple destruction, in the name of Jesus.
15. Every ancestral chain of slavery binding my people from prospering in life, you are broken in my life by the hammer of God, in the name of Jesus.
16. The height nobody has attained in my generation, I will reach, in the name of Jesus.
17. I recover every good thing stolen by ancestral evil spirits from my forefathers, my immediate family and myself, in the name of Jesus.
18. Every ancestral embargo, be lifted; and let good things begin to break forth in my life and in my family, in the name of Jesus.
19. I release myself from any inherited bondage, in the name of Jesus.
20. Blood of Jesus, flush out from my system, every inherited satanic deposit, in the name of Jesus.
21. I release myself from the grip of any problem transferred into my life from the womb, in the name of Jesus.
22. O God arise, and uproot anything You did not plant, inside the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries.
23. O God, let the fire of revival, fall upon the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, in the name of Jesus.
24. O God, let the power of peace and progress, overshadow this nation, in the name of Jesus.

Choose Wisely, Move Quickly, And You Can Enjoy The Best That God Has

John 15:11-12, “These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.” (KJV)

The story that is commonly referred to as the “Prodigal Son,” is a prefect example of why delayed decisions create great stress and potential destruction.

When this young man decided to leave his father, taking his inheritance with him, he had no idea what his future would hold. He found out quickly…good times do not last forever. After running out of money, no friends in sight, and delaying his decision to return home, he suffered unnecessarily.

The father had been waiting on him from the moment he departed. He had been waiting for his return but the young man continued to delay, feeling unworthy and unaccepted. Once he came to the end of himself and rose from his desperate condition, he went to the father and the father was running to meet him.

Restoration manifested and the boy’s life was intact and he had a future. Do not delay righteous decisions. Choose wisely, move quickly, and you can enjoy the best that God has.

God Loves Me, And He Is Always Looking Out For My Eternal Benefit

For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! – (2 Corinthians 4:17)

To give thanks, we must realize as Christians that God is in control of all circumstances that surround our lives, both good and bad.

In 2 Corinthians 4:17–18 we are told, “For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.”

The apostle Paul also wrote, “And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love” (Romans 8:38). God loves you, and He is always looking out for your eternal benefit. God is wiser than we are. And if He tells us to not do something, He does so for good reason.

Now, the Devil doesn’t want you to believe that. He would whisper in your ear, “God hates you. God wants to ruin your life. All those rules in the Bible are just there to make life miserable. You Christians serve an oppressive God who doesn’t want you to have any fun.”

What a bunch of nonsense. I’ve lived apart from Christ. I’ve had the so-called fun this world has to offer, and it wasn’t fun at all. I’ve also found that a life with Christ is a life of fulfillment and purpose.

We must realize that God loves us and is always looking out for our eternal benefit, even if what we are presently going through is difficult.

Thank You Lord God Almighty

“So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up and said, ‘Father, I thank you that you have heard me.’” – John 11:41

Jesus had a friend named Lazarus who died of an illness. By the time Jesus arrived at the home of Lazarus’s grieving sisters, Mary and Martha, Lazarus had been dead for four days, and his body was sealed in a tomb with a large, heavy stone.

Jesus did something that puzzled and then astonished the mourners. He asked for the stone to be rolled away, and He thanked His Father for hearing His prayer. Then Jesus commanded Lazarus to come out, and he did—wrapped in grave clothes, but alive as the day he was born!

Jesus gave thanks before God raised Lazarus from the dead, but sometimes you and I get things turned around. We pray for those who are in prison, spiritually dead, to turn away from hard-heartedness and find new life, but we only give thanks after we have seen them change. We pray for families who grieve the loss of their loved ones to a prison sentence, but we only give thanks after they are healed and restored. We beseech God for the passage of restorative criminal-justice reform, but we only give thanks after new laws are enacted.

Jesus’ thanksgiving wasn’t just a token of gratitude to God; it prepared the way for miracles that would follow. Today, I challenge us all to follow Jesus’ model. Let’s give thanks before we see the miracles of resurrection, transformation, and healing. Let’s praise Him for hearing us all the time, and then watch with expectation for Him to bring the spiritually dead to new life through His Son.

God Did Not Save You To Be A Disgrace

“Be Careful For Nothing; But In Everything By Prayer And Supplication With Thanksgiving Let Your Requests Be Made Known Unto God.”

Philippians 4:6 (KJV)

The Children Of Israel Were Supernaturally Brought Out Of Egypt By The Mighty And Outstretched Hand Of God. God Is Always Doing Something Even If He Is Not Speaking. When Heaven Appears To Be Brass And The Earth Iron, There Is Still Something Moving In The Circumstances Of Your Life. He Is Not Leaving You, For He Said, “I Will Not Leave You Or Forsake You.” He Is With You Until The End Of The World. God Always Brings You Out To Bring You In. He Didn’t Save You To Be A Disgrace. He Didn’t Save You So That You Would Become A Question Mark Or A Reproach. He Did Not Save You For People To Mock You. God Has Prepared A Great Destiny For You; You Will Fulfil It. Do Not Worry Even If It Seems Like Things Are Not Working. God Can Change Where You Are Overnight! Something Is About To Happen In Your Life. The Beauty Of It Is That When God Gets To Your Case A Miracle Will Take Place. He Will Hasten To Restore The Wasted Years. Your Salvation Will Not End Without You Fulfilling Your Destiny.

Jesus, Despite The Raging Of The Storm, Was Not Anxious. Everything Jesus Did Was A Lesson In And Of Itself. Remember That He Stripped Himself Of The Honour And Glory To Be Totally Human. He Slept While His Disciples Were Anxious. You Should Sleep, Because You Can’t Work Out Anything By Yourself. Let God Do The Work.

He Knows What You Are Going Through; Even Our High Priests Can Be Touched With The Feeling Of Our Infirmities And Can Be Tempted Like We Are. This Is Why Jesus Came. He Came Down To Sit Where You Sit So That He Would Be Qualified To Die On Your Behalf. He Couldn’t Have Stayed Comfortably In Heaven And Told Us How To Overcome Temptation, Anxiety, And Pressure In An Effective Manner. You Can’t Understand How Others Feel Until You Sit Where They Do. So He Came And Sat Where We Sat And Felt What We Felt.

Enough Of The Anxiety! Your Hands Cannot Be Where God’s Hands Are At The Same Time. He’ll Never Share His Glory With Another. Your Part Is To Carry Out Every Instruction He Gives You. Leave Everything In His Hands.

The greatest sources of suffering in my life once wore diapers and cried throughout the night. When they were babies, my children woke up every two or three hours. If I’d been up late or had to get up early, it was hard to be woken in the middle of the night to rock them back to sleep or change their diapers. I’ve lost some freedom. It’s tiring sometimes. So, honestly, the greatest source of suffering in my life right comes from these precious children in our house.

 

On the other hand, one of the greatest joys and happiness and fulfillment is what I have in my children. When I see their chubby cheeks, hear their childish patter, I’m overwhelmed with love.

 

You can’t have one without the other. You can’t live life and hope to never experience pain, struggle, or suffering. You can’t have a fulfilled, wonderful life without also understanding that suffering is coming. A life without pain is not a fulfilled life. A life without pain is numb.

 

Prayer: Lord, thank You for taking my weakness and turning it into strength, and for showing me that within my suffering is also great joy. For, when I’m overwhelmed, it’s a perfect opportunity to lean on You. Amen.
