Evangelist Ejike Anthony Onochie’s prayer based on Matthew 21:7-8: Riding into victory, humility, discerning hearts, and focus on God’s purpose.

Matthew 21:7-8 says: “And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon. And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way.”

You will ride in victory into your habitations and inheritance like our Lord in Jesus Christ name! Amen.

The world will celebrate you for great achievements and successes in Jesus Christ Mighty Name! Amen!

The Spirit of God will engraft in our lives and hearts true humility and penitence in Jesus Christ Mighty name! Amen!

May our hearts be always ready to accommodate the will of God at all times and in all situations in Jesus Christ Mighty Name! Amen.

You will receive the spirit to identify and discern true friends and true enemies among the crowd around your destiny in Jesus Christ Mighty Name! Amen

May we be always ready and available to be a useful instrument for God’s glory, when He calls in Jesus Christ Mighty Name! Amen.

Heavenly Father, keep us focused on eternal goal and purpose; help us not to be distracted by neither the praise nor persecution of men in Jesus Christ Mighty Name! Amen

By EVANGELIST EJIKE ANTHONY ONOCHIE.

Thank You Jesus,

Salvation Prayers

If you don’t Know Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour and would like to accept him into your life as your personal Lord and Saviour, Please say this prayer:

Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from You. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward You. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that Your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send Your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your Will for the rest of my life. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

Matthew 21:7-8
New International Version
7 They brought the donkey and the colt and placed their cloaks on them for Jesus to sit on. 8 A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road.

D.L. Moody’s selfless act of service at Northfield: A powerful example of humility and following Christ’s servant heart (Philippians 2:5-7).

Serving Others

“Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.” (Philippians 2:5-7)

In September 1880, D.L. Moody, the famous American evangelist, held the first of the Northfield Bible Conferences in Northfield, Massachusetts. Invited to the bible conference were over 300 visitors and among those that came to the Northfield Seminary for the conference was a delegation from Great Britain.

As was their custom, each English guest put his shoes outside his room to be cleaned by the hall servants overnight. But of course this was America and there were no hall servants. Walking the dormitory halls that night, Moody saw the shoes and determined not to embarrass his brothers.  So, he mentioned the need to some seminary students who were there, but met with only silence or pious excuses. Moody returned to the dorm, gathered up the shoes, and, alone in his room, the renowned speaker began to clean and polish the shoes. Only the unexpected arrival of a friend in the midst of the work revealed the secret.

When the foreign visitors opened their doors the next morning, their shoes were shined. They never know by whom. Moody told no one, but his friend told a few people, and during the rest of the conference, different men volunteered to shine the shoes in secret.

Are you the type of servant who is ready to serve others in any capacity? Today in prayer, thank Christ Jesus that He humbled Himself to be a servant and seek to follow the Lord’s example.

“Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant.” (Matthew 20:26)
