Weekend Deliverance (WD) is a three-day deliverance programme held once a month. It is the short, but very effective version of the weekly deliverance programme that runs at MFM Prayer City.

WD is open to everyone who wants to be set free of demonic oppression and satanic bondage or is just seeking spiritual exercise, however, most working class people find it convenient to attend because of the nature of their jobs.

This month’s Weekend Deliverance kicks off on Friday, September 18 through Sunday, September 20, 2015. It’s a great opportunity for friends, family, the whole crew to come out and encounter the God of Elijah.

PRAYERS ON WATER

My Father, I thank You for creating water as part of Your mysterious creation. Thank You Lord, because water is a symbol of the Holy Spirit. Water washes. Water revives. Water satisfies. Water refreshes. Water maintains. Water purifies. Water is growth-producing.

Father, as You sanctified water, even at the beginning of creation and Your Spirit moved upon the waters, sanctify this water, in the name of Jesus. Let the fire of the Holy Ghost, the blood of Jesus and the healing power of God, flow into this water, in the name of Jesus.

Holy Ghost, come upon this water and let the power of the Most High God overshadow this water. Let the blood of Jesus flow into this water and convert it to living water, healing water, sanctifying water, divine antibiotic, divine vitamin and a cleansing purgative, in the Name of Jesus. My Father, let the power of heaven and the Holy Spirit begin to trouble this water now.

By this water, Father, let Your Spirit wash away any force assigned to terminate my existence, in the name of Jesus. Father, convert this water to the serpent of Moses to swallow up all spiritual serpents troubling my health, my destiny, my progress, my breakthroughs, my finance, my career, my prosperity, my business and my spiritual life, in the name of Jesus.

Let this water, become hot coals of fire and burn every plantation of darkness troubling my life to ashes, in the name of Jesus. By the anointing that fell on river Jordan and washed away leprosy, Father, let Your anointing fall upon this water and wash away every external and internal yoke, in the name of Jesus.

I decree by the decree of heaven, under the mandate of Calvary, that this water will flush dangerous materials out of my body. It will protect every organ of my body. It will stimulate my immune system. It will cleanse my system internally and externally. It will protect the unborn babies. It will transport the blood of Jesus into every cell of my body. It will evacuate every plantation of darkness from my body, in the name of Jesus. Just as water is a wonder, Father, make me a mysterious wonder. Every stronghold of the enemy in my body, be dismantled by this blessed water. Just as water speaks of physical and natural birth (John 3:5), let my life be reinvented by the power of God. Just as the water speaks of the word of God (Ephesians 5:26), let this water cleanse me from all physical and spiritual pollution. Just as water speaks of purification, let this water purify the totality of my system. Just as healing powers are communicated through water, let my life receive wholeness by drinking this water. Just as water speaks of liberation and refreshment, let my life receive total deliverance, in the name of Jesus. Just as water speaks of fruitfulness, I command fruitfulness upon my life, in the name of Jesus. In the name of the Father, of the Son, of the Holy Spirit, I sanctify this water, in the Name of Jesus, Amen!

  2. This year, every snare of the fowler assigned against me shall perish, in the name of Jesus.
  3. This year, I render the habitation of darkness assigned against me desolate, in the name of Jesus.
  4. This year, divine deposits shall settle in my life, in the name of Jesus.
  5. This year, I enter into the covenant of favour, in the name of Jesus.
  6. This year, the anointing of success and fruitfulness shall rest upon me, in the name of Jesus.

Proverbs_10-22: The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it

“Therefore thy gates shall be open continually they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought.”

Isaiah 60:11 (KJV)

Beloved, oftentimes we feel that God is too slow in coming through with His word. Many times we even feel God does not bother about how we feel, let alone do something about our situation. The result is that we cancel ourselves out from ever receiving from Him. Today, I want to give you an assurance from God’s word that He is still committed to bringing to pass every word He has spoken concerning your life. His word to you today is that your gates shall be open continually. Gates represent the place of authority where far reaching decisions are taken. Gates also represent access to and from a city. For as long as the gates to a city are open, you can be sure that socio-economic activities would never cease. In like manner understand that for as long as your gates are open, the forces {substance, resources, wealth, tribute and allegiance} of the Gentiles and their kings would come to you in Jesus name.

Yes, it may appear long, but like the Psalmist said, weeping may endure through the night but joy comes in the morning. Your morning of joy has come. The Lord has chosen to remember you. Get set for your miracle because it shall surely come. The Gentiles and the sons of all those that afflicted you, shall come bowing down before you. Your gates have been thrown open. So get ready for you shall be sustained with the riches from afar. You will no longer work like an elephant and eat like an ant. There shall be no more empty barrel for you. The days of barely making it are over in your life. The Lord your God will increase you and you will possess the West and the South.

Child of God, get ready for wealth transfer; for you will suck the milk of the gentiles and you will suck the breast of kings. The miracles that hitherto looked impossible are about to become the order of the day in your life. Indeed, those things that you have put on the shelf and termed impossible, are the very things that God would bring to pass that you might know that He is God. Every desire of your heart shall be granted. You will not be denied. I challenge you today to believe God for the impossible. God is not a man to lie neither is He the son of man to repent. What He has said He would do in your life will surely come to pass.

Proverbs_10-22: The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it

“And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the Lord, which he spake by Elijah.”

 

1 Kings 17:16 (KJV)

 

 

 

As we climax the age, people are going to think and care more about themselves much more than they think about God and the things of the Kingdom. I come to challenge you today not to hold back from God. Don’t cut back on your service to God. Refuse to cut back on your giving even in difficult times because it is when things are difficult that you really need God to come through for you.

 

 

 

We are told in 1 Kings 17 that the widow of Zarephath was about to hold back because of the recession in the land, but somehow she had the common sense to obey the prompting of God’s servant. She had planned to cook what she had left, eat with her son and die. You see, keeping what she had was the natural thing to do, but thank God she didn’t, because by the word of the prophet that agenda of death was terminated.

 

 

 

Also in Luke 5 we are told that Simon Peter and his team of fishermen were also in a sort of recession when Jesus came to ask for the use of their boat. They were washing their nets after they had toiled all night and caught nothing. That was certainly not a good time for them to lend out their boat. They were tired and frustrated, and yet Jesus placed a demand on them. The natural thing to do, would have been to tell Jesus to go elsewhere but they did not. Peter allowed Jesus use his boat to preach. At the end of the preaching, Jesus asked him to launch out into the deep and let down his nets for a draught. He came up with a net breaking miracle.

 

 

 

Beloved, there is no way you give to God and go away empty handed. In fact there is nothing you invest in the Kingdom that goes unrewarded. It is a surety that when you give of your time and resources to the Kingdom, God will reward you. It is time to look away from your circumstances, frustrations and release for the Kingdom. Rather than eat her last meal with her son, the widow of Zarephath sowed her last food. Rather than die as she thought, she had enough to eat and spare all through the famine. I prophesy that your seed will speak for you in every area of your life. You will not lack. You will not go away empty handed.
