Text: 2 Kings 7: 1-2, 18-19

What is Glory?

▪︎ Glory is the opposite of shame.

Proverbs 3: 35

▪︎ A state of splendour, happiness, abundance, joy

‘Ahead’ means it is in the future; it could be in the next minute.

Glory Ahead means:

 ▪︎ An end to everything that causes shame in your life.

▪︎ It means your future will be better

Your best is yet to come

▪︎ Your sun is about to rise.

▪︎ The present is not good, but it will not remain the same

▪︎ If the present is good, things will get better.

You may already have been experiencing glory, but there are levels of glory.

If things are glorious, it means things can become more glorious. 1 Corinthians 15: 51

The theme ‘Glory Ahead’ is a prophetic declaration and a proclamation.

A proclamation by the King of glory Himself.

▪︎ For someone here who is hungry, helpless, and hopeless, there is glory ahead!

▪︎ For those being pursued by enemies, where it seems there is no way forward and death is inevitable, there is glory ahead, victory ahead! Exodus 14

▪︎ For a couple who had waited for the fruit of the womb for many years and had become objects of mockery, they experienced glory ahead. Genesis 18: 14

▪︎ For someone who is overwhelmed and confused, fear not, be dismayed, the Lord will be with you. Glory ahead! 2 Chronicles 20

▪︎ A young woman named Mary saw that with God, nothing is impossible, and glory ahead. Luke 1: 37.

Prayer Point

▪︎ Father, give me the grace to believe You and Your prophets.

Be it unto me according to Your word.

I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send Your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your Will for the rest of my life. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
