“Praise Him for His mighty acts; praise Him according to His excellent greatness” Psalm 150:2 (KJV).

Psalms_139-14: I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

Beloved, there is so much to praise God for; the fact that you are still alive is a miracle in itself and God alone deserves all the glory. Lamentation 3:22 says “It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not” Learn always to go to God with the attitude of praise and thanksgiving. Like the adage says; “if you can think, then you can thank”. Take time to reflect on the past years. Think about His love for you and your household, think about where you were last year and where you are now, think about where He brought you from and how far He has taken you, think about all the things that could have happened that never happened and all the things that He delivered you from.

I encourage you to count your blessings, and name them one by one, but the truth is that you really cannot count them all. If I were you, I would praise and dance before Him because the more you appreciate Him, the more committed He is to seeing that every desire of your heart comes to pass. I therefore challenge you in the words of the Psalmist to come before Him always with praises and thanks giving in your heart. I urge you not to wait for things to work out right before you praise God. Praise God right where you are.

It was the lifestyle of praise that saw David through many challenges and brought him to the top. If you look at the life of David, you will see a man who went through great challenges and yet got great victories. For instance, even his brothers did not believe in him, that’s why they disdained him when he went to the warfront on his father’s instructions. As you praise and thank Him, His victory shall continually be made manifest in your life. Rejoice and praise God today because the victory is yours.
