Blessed be the name of our Lord, for He is worthy to be praised always for all HIS Benefits unto our lives, therefore Lord Almighty, we thank you, we praise you, we magnify you, we honour you, we lift up your name on high, we reverence you, for you are so great, You always gives us life, health, protection, providence, shelter, success, upliftment, favour.

Lord Almighty our mouths are full of praises and worship and honouring you, be thou exalted and magnified, in the name of Jesus Christ amen,

Hope in the Darkness.

Hold on to hope! “Joy comes in the morning” (Psalm 30:5). Darkness may surround you now, but dawn is breaking. God’s promise is sure. Every night of struggle will give way to a morning of triumph. Don’t lose heart. Weep, but don’t despair. For in the morning, joy, peace, and light will dispel the shadows. Wait for it, trust in it, and rejoice! Morning’s joy is your inheritance. Small Acts, Big Impact: Show You Care. Practicing Empathy and Compassion.

If you have a daughter or a Sister who’s grown, always check on them. Give them money now and then to buy Pads, under wears, and maybe toiletries. Females sometimes would never ask for these things from us, but they genuinely need them. They might ask from the wrong persons.

 If you have friends/relations who are students, call them sometimes, check on them. If you have N2000 or N3000 give them. Life as a Student sometimes gets really tough. Your kind gestures to them, goes a long way in helping them keep to a positive line.

Men, if you have friends who are currently out of job, call them sometimes in solidarity. When going for a haircut or shave sometimes, make them come along to get a haircut or shave too, while you pay.

When recharging your phone, do recharge theirs or share data with them too.  It may be nothing to you but sure means a lot to a person out of Job or vulnerable. Their ego wouldn’t allow them to ask for it.

When your friends are into business, patronize and support them even when it means adding a little tip for them, please do it. It wouldn’t cost you much.

Instead of buying only beer for your friends, why don’t you buy them Food stuffs a times?

Sometimes, our friends, colleagues and maybe family, go through a lot but wouldn’t dare tell us. Please give a helping hand today.

Finding Peace in the Midst of Provocation. Christian Response to Conflict.

Go In Peace.

TEXT: 1 Samuel 1: 1-18

1.

Now there was a certain man of Ramathaim Zophim, of the mountains of Ephraim, and his name was Elkanah the son of Jeroham, the son of [a]Elihu, the son of [b]Tohu, the son of Zuph, an Ephraimite.

And he had two wives: the name of one was Hannah, and the name of the other Peninnah. Peninnah had children, but Hannah had no children.

This man went up from his city yearly to worship and sacrifice to the LORD of hosts in Shiloh. Also the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, the priests of the LORD, were there.

4

And whenever the time came for Elkanah to make an offering, he would give portions to Peninnah his wife and to all her sons and daughters.

But to Hannah he would give a double portion, for he loved Hannah, although the LORD had closed her womb.

And her rival also provoked her severely, to make her miserable, because the LORD had closed her womb.

7

So it was, year by year, when she went up to the house of the LORD, that she provoked her; therefore she wept and did not eat.

Hannah’s Vow

Then Elkanah her husband said to her, “Hannah, why do you weep? Why do you not eat? And why is your heart grieved? Am I not better to you than ten sons?”

So Hannah arose after they had finished eating and drinking in Shiloh. Now Eli the priest was sitting on the seat by the doorpost of the [c]tabernacle of the LORD.

And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed to the LORD and [d]wept in anguish.

Then she made a vow and said, “O LORD of hosts, if You will indeed look on the affliction of Your maidservant and remember me, and not forget Your maidservant, but will give Your maidservant a male child, then I will give him to the LORD all the days of his life, and no razor shall come upon his head.”

And it happened, as she continued praying before the LORD, that Eli watched her mouth.

13

Now Hannah spoke in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard. Therefore Eli thought she was drunk.

14

So Eli said to her, “How long will you be drunk? Put your wine away from you!”

15

But Hannah answered and said, “No, my lord, I am a woman of sorrowful spirit. I have drunk neither wine nor intoxicating drink, but have poured out my soul before the LORD.

16

Do not consider your maidservant a wicked[e] woman, for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief I have spoken until now.”

17

Then Eli answered and said, “Go in peace, and the God of Israel grant your petition which you have asked of Him.”

18 And she said, “Let your maidservant find favor in your sight.” So the woman went her way and ate, and her face was no longer sad.

STUDY:

Hannah was one of the two wives of Elkanah. Although her husband loved her, she was not happy in the marriage because she was barren. Her rival, Peninnah, who had children occasionally provoked her because of her barrenness. Whenever Elkanah’s family went to Shiloh to worship and sacrifice, Hannah would be sad and weep because of Peninnah’s provocations. At one occasion in Shiloh, Hannah prayed intensely and vowed that if God would remember her and give her a son, she would give back the child to Him. Eli, the Priest, who thought she was drunken did caution her; but later told her to go in peace for God would answer her. Are you under attack in your marriage or family? Is your husband or wife making life difficult for you? Do not engage in strife or quarrel. Christians should not engage in anger, malice or filthy language (Col.3: 8). Rather put on love and allow the peace of God to rule in our hearts (Col.3: 14-15). Do you provoke people by your words and actions? You must repent! When provoked, you should take it to God in prayer and you will leave His presence joyfully to go in peace.

PRAYER:

Dear Lord, please grant me grace to pray whenever I am disturbed in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

1Timothy 2:1-4

1.  I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

2.  For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

3.  For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

4.  Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

PRAYERS:

1.  Father, I thank you for all the leaders in my family, church, state, country, and in every other place. Thank you for their lives, their families, and their well-being.

2.  Father, I pray for wisdom for my leaders. Please, let none of them lead us in the wrong direction. Give them the wisdom to know what to do at all times, in Jesus’ name.

3.  Father, please let it be well with our leaders. Take care of all their personal needs so that they will have peace of mind to lead us aright, in Jesus’ name.

4.  Father, please provide all the resources that our leaders need to achieve the goals set ahead of them, in Jesus’ name.

5.  Father, please give our leaders the strength to overcome every obstacle that may stand in the way of the glorious future they are leading us to. Help them to surmount any challenge that confronts them, in Jesus’ name.

6.  Father, please let our leaders have a compassionate heart towards their followers. Let none of them use their position to exploit or oppress their followers, in Jesus’ name.

7.  Father, please don’t let any of our leaders offend you and do things that will bring judgement upon themselves and their followers. Please help them to do your will at all times, in Jesus’ name.

8.  Father, please remove any leader that refuses to do your will. Just as you replaced Saul with David, replace them with people that will do your will, in Jesus’ name.

9.  Father, please let our leaders be good examples to us. Let their conduct and personality set good standards for us to live by, in Jesus’ name.

10.  Father, please let there be unity and peace amongst all our leaders. Let them be united, and give them the wisdom to relate with each other peaceably, in Jesus’ name.

11.  Father, please raise righteous leaders to occupy leadership positions so that the people can rejoice, in Jesus’ name.

Genesis 17:4

 As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.

What we say and/or do after receiving a prophecy matters. God told Abraham that he would be a father of nations and that his children would be as many as the stars in the sky. At that time, he and his wife were already old and did not have any children.

Later, in Genesis 18, God appeared to him, and nine months after, Isaac was born. If your mouth and actions don’t negate God’s promises for you, no matter how unbelievable those promises sound, you will see them come to pass.

 ACT NOW:

 When God says something that seems too good to be true, repeat it with your mouth, and you will see it come to pass.

My Life, God’s Canvas: A Masterpiece Of Blessings. Let Us Pray.

Today, I speak over my life and my household that the hand of God is over us for mercy, grace, and divine favour. Good things will continue to happen to us, and because God has separated us for His abundant blessings, we shall not be disappointed, rather, all the days of our appointed time, we will wait till our changes come. I will not wait in vain because God shall continue to perfect all that concerns me. I am like a city set on a hill; my destiny cannot be truncated or hidden. My place in God’s plan is sure; my future is certain. I am strengthened with the spirit of might in my inner person, therefore, my walls are strong, and my name is written in the Lamb’s book of life. From the East, West, North and South, favour and honour will find me; my gifts and calling are without repentance. Because I have grace to receive help, I will not be stranded in life; I will not be frustrated regarding my life’s issues. I shall continue to possess my possessions. I have laid hold of the horns of the altar and have received mercy, therefore, nothing will stop my God ordained progress. In Jesus’ name, I believe and I say, Amen.

When You Feel Like Giving Up. When You Feel Like Giving Up: 5 Strategies to Keep Going.

When you feel like giving up, talk to someone. You were never meant to walk through this life alone. Often, angels come in human form. Many problems are diffused by the love of those around us. 

When you feel like giving up, sing an uplifting song. Music has healing power. Also, listen to an inspiring message. One kind word can change your day. One inspiring word can change your destiny.

When you feel like giving up, meditate on your life’s purpose – the positive difference you’re making in this world. Our lives are fuelled by a sense of belonging, meaning, significance and purpose. 

When you feel like giving up, exercise. Jogging, swimming, bowling, tennis, or a mere walk in the park reduces cortisol (the stress hormone) and activates several happy hormones in your body.

When you feel like giving up – pray. Don’t be anxious about anything. Instead, take everything to God in prayer. He is our refuge. He is our strength. He is our loving Father. He’s just a prayer away.

Switzerland Tops Best Countries Rankings for Third Consecutive Year.

Switzerland has been named the greatest country in the world by U.S. News & World Report, in its annual Best Countries rankings.

This is the third time in a row Switzerland, with its population of 8.7million, has swiped the top spot. The central European nation is followed by Japan, the United States, Canada and Australia in the latest edition of the analysis.

The rankings are based on a global survey in which nearly 17,000 people across 36 nations are asked their opinions on a whole range of different qualities, such as how dynamic, safe and a leader that country is, as well as how much it cares about human rights and how economically stable it is.

God Doesn’t Cancel Dreams: Holding On to Faith and Hope.

We may have given up, but the good news is God hasn’t given up. He doesn’t cancel dreams. He’s called the Author and the Finisher of our faith. Even when we feel like giving up, God continues to support, guide us, and He never abandons the dreams He’s placed in our heart. Even when we feel like giving up, God is still at work, fulfilling His promises and bringing our dreams to life. He never cancels what He has started in us. Keep the faith and trust that His timing is perfect. It’s not over until God says it is. Your story will not end until your victory is confirmed.
