God Knows How To Take Care Of You (The LORD Is My Shepherd I Shall Not Want).

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures…. {Psalm 23:1-2}

God knows everything. He knows you and everything about you. He knows the things you need, and He knows how to get them across to you. He is that BIG! He proved this in the Scriptures when a certain Hebrew woman needed His help. She had given birth to a son at a time the Pharaoh of Egypt issued a decree that every Hebrew male child from two years down be killed. She tried for a while to protect the child, but it became increasingly difficult; so she put him in a basket and allowed him drift in the river.

At that time, Pharaoh’s daughter came to the river to have her bath when she saw a basket floating among the reeds. She called for it and saw a baby lying in it. Instantly, she fell in love with the baby and chose to take care of him. She requested for a nurse to look after her new found baby, and guess what? Unbeknownst to her, the woman they found to take care of the baby was the baby’s own mother! That baby was Moses. Pharaoh’s daughter paid Moses’ mother a salary to take care of her own baby. It didn’t just happen by chance; God orchestrated everything.

Understand that God has charted the direction of your life’s journey from start to finish. Remember, He said, “I am The First and The Last”, meaning He’s big enough to handle everything that concerns you. He’s mighty enough to start you out successfully and ensure you gloriously complete your journey of success. He knows everything you need and everything you’ll ever require to live the prosperous and glorious life He’s ordained for you. And He’s already made them ready and available to you in Christ Jesus!

Seek to please The LORD by doing His Will, for that’s all He requires from you, and He’ll lead you in the path of His righteousness, greatness and abundance. He’s your Good Shepherd, hence it’s His responsibility to guide and guard you, and ensure you don’t stumble or struggle through life. Trust Him with your life and He will make you dwell in prosperity, peace and safety; He knows how to take care of His own

Grief Takes Time

James 4:4 says, “Your life is like a mist. You can see it for a short time, but then it goes away.”

We speak of a short life—but compared to eternity, who has a long one? But in God’s plan every life is long enough and every death is timely. And though you and I might wish for a longer life, God knows better.

Ecclesiastes 7:3 says, “Sorrow is better than laughter, for sadness has a refining influence on us.”

Egyptians dress in black for six months. Orthodox Jews offer prayers for a deceased parent every day for eleven months. Some Muslims wear mourning clothes for a year. Am I the only one who senses we hurry our hurts?

Did you know that 70% of the Psalms are poems of sorrow? That the Old Testament includes a book of lamentations?

Grief takes time. Give yourself some.

May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

The Lesson of Elijah

God is A Personal Spirit!

“Be still in the presence of the LORD, and wait patiently for Him to act.” (Psalm 37:7)

Do you ever ask, “Why don’t I experience God dramatically as the early believers did? Why do I not see anyone experiencing God that way?” A man from Old Testament times, a prophet named Elijah, struggled with this.

Elijah lived in a day, much like today, when many people doubted or scoffed at God. He longed to see God move with tremendous power and silence the critics. Sometimes God did that. But there was a time when Elijah’s very life was in danger, and God seemed silent. An evil and godless queen named Jezebel sent her armies to kill Elijah. Was this his reward for being loyal and faithful to God? His depression and despair cut so deeply that Elijah finally asked God to simply let him die. If God wasn’t going to speak or act what was the point of even living?

God taught Elijah an unforgettable lesson. He sent the prophet to a mountain and commanded him to stand and watch as the Lord passed. Wasn’t that what Elijah wanted, after all? His heart must have raced as he anticipated looking upon the glory of God with his own two eyes. But instead, God came in a gentle whisper.

Elijah understood the message. God can hurl windstorms whenever He chooses. He can make the earth tremble or set it aflame. But He usually does not choose to move among us in sensational ways, but rather in the sound of a gentle whisper.

Your View of God Really Matters …

Why do you think God allowed Elijah to get so depressed he wanted to die? How did God restore Elijah’s hope? Do you ever get depressed? Next time, listen for the gentle whisper.

Because God is A Personal Spirit, I will seek intimate fellowship with Him.

May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

Planted in the Word Of God

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that
bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not
wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper
Psalm 1:3

If you are living according to the Word, abiding and delighting in the
Word, you are like a healthy tree planted by rivers of water. God has
fruit He expects you to bring forth in season. There are people He
expects you to help get saved and filled with the Holy Ghost. There are
lives He expects you to touch.

A tree has several parts: roots, trunk, branches, and leaves that keep
it alive, firm, and steady. The roots represent your spirit, and the
branches represent your body. If you are like a tree planted by rivers
of water, you are not going to have a problem spiritually or
physically.

The leaves of a tree represent the outward areas of your life your
money, your family, your job— everything you put your hand on. God says
that once you are successful, you will prosper all the days of your
life.

May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

God Hates Religion

God Hates Religion

But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitanes,
which I also hate.

Revelation 2:6

If God hates something, then you are supposed to hate it. The
Nicolaitanes were known for their lascivious life style, for false
teaching, and for error. They wanted the priesthood to be restored, but
they wanted the church to be controlled by laymen. Nicholas, the
deacon, was their leader.

Men elected by men are not supposed to rule men called by God. When you
have laypersons trying to run what God planted, you will never get what
God wanted to happen because they aren’t called and anointed for that
role. Just because someone is a successful businessman doesn’t mean
that person knows anything about the anointing of God and the plan that
God has for the church.

God hates religion. Christianity is not a religion. Religion is
comprised of forms, customs, and religious activity. Christianity is an
experience with someone that is alive, someone who will change your
life forever. His name is Jesus Christ!

Prayer for Today

Dear Heavenly Father,
I praise You for reaching out to me, for desiring a relationship with
me that is true, pure, and enduring. I thank You for ever living and
ever interceding for Your people and Your church. In Jesus Christ Name! Amen!

God Is Great

God is Great

They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice.
Romans 1:29

We live in a world that has forgotten God. The latest bestselling books set out to discredit God. References to God are disappearing from many public institutions, and liberal activists want to remove His name from the Pledge of Allegiance.

God’s people should be shouting from the rooftops, “God is great!” The absence of any kind of rebuttal is the result of the insidious work of Satan. Satan wants to destroy all communication between God and man, and we help him every time we do not speak up.

Forget what is ‘politically correct’ and praise God. Some may ridicule you for praising His name, but His Word will stand forever, long after the present fads have passed from this earth. Praise God constantly. Help to repair the breach between God and man.

The old hymn says it all: “I’ll praise my maker while I’ve breath; and when my voice is lost in death, praise shall employ my nobler powers. My days of praise shall ne’er be past…” Praise Him today.

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. —Psalm 46:1

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. —Psalm 46:1

One of my new friends is a mom whose 21-year-old daughter died suddenly in 2009, which sent her reeling. She told me, “I feel like an outcast from the normal world. I feel crushed and my soul is in so much pain.”

Indeed the losses that visit us can knock us off our feet—whether a death in the family, a child who walks away from God and family, or a physical or mental setback.

Yet what I’ve discovered is something musician Jeremy Camp made clear in a song he wrote after the death of his wife in 2001: When you are knocked off your feet by life’s difficulties, remember that “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble” (Ps. 46:1). That’s reason enough to get back up again. Camp described his struggle in the song called “Understand.” He asked, “Why don’t I get back on my feet again?” And he recognized that he could because “I know You understand it all.”

When trouble knocks us down, we can look up. God is there. He understands and cares. It’s not easy, but we can trust Him to help us get back on our feet again. —Dave Branon

Lift up your eyes, despairing one,
The Lord your help will be;
You have a friend in heaven who cheers,
And calms the troubled sea. —Anon.

There is no place where earth’s sorrows are felt more than in heaven.

May Our God The Almighty prosper Nigeria and Israel and defend us from all our enemies in Jesus Christ Name, Amen!

Knowing the truth about debt is the first step towards financial freedom

A good person leaves an inheritance   for their children’s children, but a sinner’s wealth is stored up for the   righteous (Proverbs 13:22).

Financially speaking, there are three kinds of people: the haves, the   have-nots, and those who have not paid for what they have! Debt has become a   way of life in the American landscape. The average American household spends   at least 20 percent of their net income on consumer debt. We must understand   that when debt rules, debt ruins. Proverbs 22:7 says: “The borrower becomes   the lender’s slave.” Debt controls your life, so it puts you in a kind of   slavery. There are several reasons for debt: ignorance, indulgence, poor   planning, and emergencies. All these things can contribute to the snowball of   debt.

But I believe that God provides a way for us to live without being   controlled by our debt. Debt is owing something you cannot pay, and that kind   of debt should be abnormal for the Christian because it is outside God’s   will. Debt is first and foremost a spiritual issue—we are in debt because we   have refused to obey God.

Psalm 37:21 says:“The wicked borrows and does not pay back.”   Ecclesiastes 5:5 says: “It is better that you should not vow than that you   should vow and not pay.”But also: “The Lord will open for you His good   storehouse, the heavens, to give rain to your land in its season and to bless   all the work of your hand; and you shall lend to many nations, but you shall   not borrow” (Deuteronomy 28:12).

We can be set free from the tyranny of debt, and there are four steps   that can help us: plant, plan, prioritize, and pray.

Knowing the truth about debt is the first step toward financial   freedom.

May God Almighty prosper Nigeria and Israel and   defend us from all their enemies in Jesus Christ Name, Amen!
