How prepared are you for the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ?
It is sometimes easier to ask the question than to actually answer it.
A checklist like this will help:
1 Are you saved? Do you believe in Jesus Christ? Do you accept His authority over your life?
2. Do you love God? Do you obey His commandments?
3 Do you love your neighbour as yourself? THE SAME WAY JESUS WILL THINK AND ACT TOWARDS THEM?
4 Are you telling others about the salvation that is of God and encouraging them to remain in that salvation?

For you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.

God’s Goodness And Mercy Shall Be With You.

Galatians_5-22: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith

“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.”
(Psalm 23:6)

By virtue of the great inheritance we have received from God, He has also deemed it fit to give us a 24/7 security patrol to see to our welfare when we are out and about. Some have referred to these strong angels assigned to keep watch over us, as a special angelic unit called ‘GOODNESS & MERCY UNIT’; (that sounds interesting, so, for the benefit of this devotion and with being overly contentious, I will chose to work with that axiom)

In that case they are uncountable according to Hebrews 12, and so there must be more than enough for everyone who walks the surface of this earth. We must be confident that we are well escorted with our good shepherd Jesus Christ in front of us and the angels behind. Someone called them Watchdogs but I prefer to refer to them as ANGELS.

One thing we are sure to see mothers do, is to tidy up after their children; the children go on a rampage and almost throw the house in a state of confusion and the mother with her tender hands puts everything back to where they belong and mends the broken toys; so we have a God, with a ‘LARGE’ heart who goes after those who are called by His name and He cleans and mends after us. What keeps God’s goodness following us is His love. It is because of His goodness that even when we fail at the task we are credited with that which we do not deserve to have. He gives us the whole wage, when we have in actual fact being working for just an hour of the assigned time. Because of His mercy when we are forgiven, the records are obliterated from his archives, so that there are no more charges laid against us. Do not fear the unknown; God’s Angels have gone ahead of you on the highways and the byways. All the days, even those in which Satan seems to have obtained permission to sift you have been taken care of. Trust me; He is with us always, even until the end of the world.

Prayer: Father God, Your goodness and Your mercy will follow me as Your rod and Your Staff comforts me. I will arise daily with a thought, a faith, and a speech that says the Lord is my Shepherd I shall not want. Thank you in Jesus Name.

My dearly Beloved ,
I kneel on the floor this morning and pray for you.
As long as there is God in Heaven, you will never know shame.
Your life will always have a meaning.
The door of goodness shall not be shut against you.
Every satanic power trying to re-design your destiny shall be crushed by the heavenly hosts.
Every evil arrow shall return back to the sender.
By the grace of God, your arrival at all places will break barriers. Your miracle will break protocols. Your testimony shall last forever. You shall be the most preferred anywhere you go.
Power to survive every storm of life shall rest upon you and the name of the Lord shall be glorified in your life.
