Welcome to another new month in year 2024, I pray with you that The Almighty God protect you, guide you and make a pillar of fire round you. Whoever try to do you evil will shall be consumed by the Fire of the Holy Ghost.

God will put an end to all forces that are wasting your efforts. All your hanging blessings for the month January to September shall be released to you and your family in this month of October. The Almighty God will re-brand you for excellence and greatness and HE will upgrade your life to a newer better version.

Unpleasant stories in the chapter of your life shall be edited for good. You shall smile all through this month and beyond in Jesus Christ Mighty name. Amen.

The Power of Hospitality, Worship and Prayer Points

Preparation for Divine Visitation

FOOD FOR THOUGHT!!

“Distributing to the necessity of saints, given to hospitality” [ROMANS 12:13].

Welcome to the month of October, our season of double portion. Beloveth, this new season, the needs of the saints will sufficiently be met more than enough in Jesus Christ amazing and victorious name. All we need to do, draw nearer to your Creator more than ever before in righteousness in Jesus Christ precious name Amen-Shalom.

When Abraham saw the Lord and His angels, he entertained them. Many Christians have lost a lot of blessings to circumstances. We have become so sophisticated that we have deleted the word ‘hospitality’ from our register. Yet the Scripture tells us that the hospitable have entertained angels unawares [HEBREWS 13:2].

Hospitality is part of our Christian culture. ROMANS 12:13 says, ‘Distributing to the necessity of saints, given to hospitality.’ How hospitable are you today? Some people keep making excuses for not receiving visitors. Hospitality is a trait that can enhance your ability to receive divine visitors in Jesus name through several ways like meeting the needs of the needy.

To qualify for divine visits, you must be humble. In PSALM 138:6 says, “Though the LORD be high, yet hath He respect unto the lowly: but the proud He knoweth afar off.” If you retain pride in your heart, God is quite unlikely to choose your boat because He keeps a safe distance from the proud.

Another requirement for divine visitation is that you must be ready to give Him water. The greatest need of the one who has travelled a long distance is water. In most traditions, water is the first thing offered to a visitor.

What is the water God is requesting from you today? It is PURE WORSHIP. In JOHN 4:23-24 says God is carrying out a search for true worshippers to pay them a visits. It is a selective visit. God will visit those who worship Him in spirit and in truth. Worshipping God is when you begin to reel out His glorious names and what He can do and not focusing on what you can get from Him. Rather for who He is. This makes Him to ‘swell’ as it were in Jesus name.

Moreover, God will visit those who will give food to eat after the initial water. What type of food does God eat? Apart from the times you have invited Him to join you during meals, God’s regular praises. This is why 1 PETER 2:9 tells us we have been created to praise God in everything we do [COLOSSIANS 3:17]. Beloved, your life should praise God. Every part of our body, especially your mouth, should be engaged in feeding God regularly with the food of praise.

God chose David because he was always praising Him. Compared with King Saul, David excelled in good deeds. As few as king Saul’s crimes were, he could not escape God’s wrath. But as many as David’s crimes were, because he was a sincere worshipper and always praised God, he was spared the wrath of God.

Dear friend, God does not want to lose a true worshipper. Are you a true worshipper? Have you been giving God what He likes? He will surely give you what you like. Feed Him regularly with praise, worship and thanksgiving!

Good morning beloved. I pray for you and your household today that the light of God shall be with you in every path you follow. God’s wisdom shall guide every step you take and you shall know peace in all decisions you make. You shall be empowered to foresee and actualize every beautiful plans that God has for you and shall receive clear insight to locate your central point of fulfilment.

Every satanic fountain of shame, struggle and failure in your life shall dry up. Mercy of God shall go forth and speak for you. He shall channel your steps into victory. All hindrances on your way to success shall be crushed in the mighty name of Jesus! Amen.

Wait on God, He will make it happen and Prayer Points

ADEQUATELY PREPARED?

FOOD FOR THOUGHT!!

“But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day…….” [2 PETER 3:8-9].

Good morning beloved and welcome to the last day, Monday in September. Wooo!! How time flies! September is waving bye and welcoming in October. Are you adequately prepared to do those kingdom assignments that will provoke you being remembered for good for the rest of 2024? See you tonight during the CROSSOVER/HOLY COMMUNION SERVICE in Jesus name.

The chief butler forgot his promise to Joseph for two years. It took Pharaoh having some dreams without interpretation to remember Joseph. The Lord will open the book of remembrance and remember you for good in Jesus name. Those who are instrumental to the fulfilment of your destiny but have forgotten to show up, this season God will quicken them to perform the purpose He sent them your way in Jesus name.

However, believers generally feel God is too slow for their liking. Joseph was not an exception. Those two years must have seemed like ages to him. Have you received promises from God but you are yet to see the fulfilment? Do you feel God is too slow? He is not slow but operates a different timing from man’s own [PSALM 90:4].

According to ECCLESIASTES 3:1, God has a time table for every event especially as it affects every human being. Sometimes you think you are ready but God knows you are not. It happened to Jesus. When He was 12 years, He went into the temple and showed the Doctors at law from His teaching that He was the Word [LUKE 2:41 – 42].

Humanly speaking, He was ready for His ministry. However, He had to wait for another 18 years for God’s time to come.

After Paul the Apostle became born again, he immediately began to preach about Jesus Christ. Within one week they wanted to kill him. God withdrew him and kept him in a secret place for three years [GALATIANS 1:15 – 19]. After that period, he thought he was ready so he went to Jerusalem but the Holy Spirit said it was not yet time.

God withdrew him for another 14 years [GALATIANS 2:1]. If you can wait patiently for God, you will enjoy great benefits. It was after the 120 disciples waited in the upper room that ushered the Pentecostal experience was ushered. After that, Peter preached a sermon and a harvest of 3000 souls followed [ACTS 2:41]. His second sermon won 5000 souls while multitudes came to Christ from his third sermon [ACTS 4:4].

Beloved, if you are patient to do things in God’s timing and ways, you will achieve greater results and arrive at your goals faster. How do you yield to His will today? Have you been prepared for His use? Without preparation, the way into a fulfilled and successful ministry may not be opened.

Dearly beloveth, after a wilderness preparation comes a manifestation. Ask that after God has adequately prepared you, He should manifest you to fit into His plans in October and the remaining months in the year in Jesus name.

DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE?

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

Who are you? If you’re asked this question, you should always have an answer. There’s something I say often, “I know who I am.” This isn’t just a fancy statement, but a declaration of my identity in Christ Jesus.

You’re special, made in the image and likeness of God. You’re the child of the most-high God, and He lives in you through the Holy Spirit. There’s absolutely nothing ordinary about you; you’re the new creation! Hallelujah!

Therefore, refuse to just let anything happen to you; rather, take charge of your life through your words of faith, as someone who truly knows who he is.

Asking in Jesus Christ Name: Unlocking the Power of Prayer

Just Ask

You have not because you ask not (Jas 4:2). Jesus said, “Ask and you will receive (Matt 7:7). Until now you have not asked for anything in My Name. Ask and you will receive, that your joy may be full (John 16:24).”

Don’t wish you had money. Don’t wish you had a job. Don’t wish you were prettier. Wishing is not asking. The Lord said, “You may ask Me for anything in My Name, and I will do it (John 14:14).”

Don’t complain about your partner. Ask God for wisdom in your relationship. Don’t complain of discrimination in your work place. Ask for promotion. Complaining is not asking.

And don’t beg. God hates begging. There’s no love in begging. God loves you. Just ask Him. And ask big. God dares you, “Ask of Me, and I’ll give you the nations for your inheritance (Ps 2:8).”

Approach the throne of grace with confidence (Heb 4:16). Guilt and shame come from the enemy. We don’t receive from God because of our righteousness. He gives us because He is our loving Father.

2) Their bodies shall be full of vitality of the Lord, their lives are garnished with wealth & abundance, as they are experiencing peace all around.

3) I shall not mourn over my children, because they are satisfied with long life, they shall live long and take care of me.

If someone left you, dare to love again. If you fail an exam, try again – don’t quit school. If you’re selling, knock another door, and another one. If you didn’t get the job, apply another place, and another.

If you blew up your song or speech, refine your presentation skills and try another stage. If your business is not working, try another strategy. Try over and over again until you succeed.

When you fall, get up on your feet and try again. Thomas Edison succeeded in hundreds of innovations by trying over and over again. Nick Vujicic says, “If I fail, I try again, and again, and again.”

Few things work out the first time. So long as the sun rises again, try again. Every single day is a new chance to try again. Albert Eistein said, “It’s not that I’m so smart, it’s just that I stay with problems longer.”

You can’t explain to an infant how to walk. They just have to try, fall and try again. You can’t explain to someone how to ride a bicycle. They can only find their balance by trying it out.

Even God encourages us to keep trying. The Bible says, “Sow your seed in the morning, and at evening, let your hands not be idle, for you do not know which will succeed (Eccl 11:6).”

Hope on the Brink of Breakthrough Prayer Points

Your Breakthrough Is Near Prayer Points

If you feel like you can’t take any more pressure, you’re very close to your miracle. It’s darkest just before dawn. The battle is fiercest just before victory. The final exam leads to graduation.

God has a way of showing up when we have run out of options. The Jordan river banks were bursting when God parted the waters. At the Red Sea, God showed up when the enemy was very close.

With God, you don’t look at external signs for a miracle. We walk by faith, not by sight. Activate your spiritual antennae. While there was no sign of clouds in the sky, Elijah knew it was about to rain.

If you’re feeling extremely discouraged, this could be the last stretch to your breakthrough. I have climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro twice. The last stretch is the toughest. Just take one step at a time.

Keep your eye fixed on God and your goal. You’re going to experience a God-moment that will change everything. God’s ways are perfect. He makes everything beautiful in His time.

1. It’s Not All About Me.

Dear Heavenly Father! My Lord and Saviour, please help me focus on others, prioritize their needs, and serve selflessly! Amen.

Philippians 2:3-4: “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.”

2. I’m Not Always Right.

Dear Heavenly Father! In the mighty name of Jesus Christ my personal Lord and Saviour! Please grant me humility to acknowledge my mistakes, learn from others, and seek Your guidance at all times! Amen.

Proverbs 3:7-8: “Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.”

3. I Don’t Know Everything; But I Do Know Some Things Well.

7. I can’t spend more than I make.

Stay Strong Prayer Points

Strength is refusing to be miserable when your best friend dumps you. Strength is having inner peace when all your friends forsake you. Strength is keeping hope alive when your health is failing you.

Strength is consistently applying for jobs when you’re getting no response. Strength is opening your business despite no customer showing up. Strength is resilience when feeling overwhelmed.

Strength is not having the energy to go on – it is going on when you don’t have the energy. Strength does not come from winning – it’s your struggles that develop your strengths. Scars are marks of strength.

There’s no room for weakness in the kingdom of God. The courageous forcefully take their inheritance. Be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might (Eph 6:10). We are in vicious warfare.

God promised the Israelites the land of Canaan. But three times He commanded Joshua, “Be strong and courageous (Jos 1:6,7,9) – I will (only) give you the place where you set your foot (Jos 1:3).”

MESSAGE:

It seems like sooner or later everyone gets mistreated and hurt. Many times the actions against us are unintentional, but other times they can be extremely malicious. Suddenly, this hurt begins to invade every other area of our life. We carry a heavy burden which we know we don’t deserve – and which we certainly don’t desire to keep – but it’s a burden we can’t seem to let go.

There is only one true way to relieve the burden of our hurt, and it always begins with forgiveness. True forgiveness can be difficult and require great humility. We want the other person to first ask (maybe even beg) for our forgiveness. We would like them to admit the hurt they caused; and, if we are honest, we probably would prefer them to suffer… just a little. But this is generally not God’s plan.

“Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.” (Colossians 3:13)

If we have come to a saving faith in Jesus Christ, we have first come face to face with our sinful nature. Without an understanding that we are full of sin, we will never reach out for a savior. And if we have experienced the true meaning of God’s love, “while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8), we will be compelled to reach out and love others. If we truly understand His forgiveness of us, can we really withhold our forgiveness of those who have caused us pain?

Jesus told a parable of a man who failed to forgive a small debt when his master had just forgiven him a much greater debt: “‘Shouldn’t you have had mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you?’ In anger his master turned him over to the jailers to be tortured, until he should pay back all he owed” (Matthew 18:33-34). Do we really understand how much we have been forgiven, or our inability to repay? Yet our debt has been completely forgiven by grace through faith in Jesus, and we are now commanded to forgive others.

God established the standard for forgiveness. We are not called to forgive because someone deserves or has earned our forgiveness, we are called to forgive simply because God first forgave us. When we forgive, we must strive to make the forgiveness complete; “For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more” (Hebrews 8:12). Though we may carry a healthy level of new caution as the relationship continues, we must never place conditions on maintaining our forgiveness.

There WILL be times when we are burdened with hurt. But let’s not seek revenge or try to withdraw and hide our pain. Let’s follow the commands of God’s Word and be set free! Let’s grow closer to our Heavenly Father and see through His eyes. Let’s share His love and forgive as He forgave.

MEMORIZE:

“Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.” – 1 Peter 3:7

MESSAGE:

The Bible says that husbands are to love their wives as Christ loved the church Ephesians 5:25. This analogy alone is enough to tell us straightaway that love is not an emotion or feeling, but a decision to consistently act in the best interest of your spouse. In other words, the best interest of your spouse should become a priority to you.

In Luke 22:42, Jesus did not feel like dying for the church. He tried to convince God to let the impending suffering and death pass over Him. He prayed so hard that His sweat was like blood, but what had to be done, had to be done. He went to the cross, suffered shame, pain, and death for the ones He loved. That is what husbands are to do for their wives; love them as Christ loves the church and gave Himself for her. Husband, can you do this for your wife?

When I see Christian husbands buying new clothes and shoes for themselves while their wives wear old, worn out clothes, I wonder if they even read their Bibles at all. Worse still are the men who beat their wives. As a husband, if you love your wife, you will take good care of her and put her interests above yours. Money will be too small to sacrifice to make her happy.

In Nigeria, men of the Igbo tribe are renowned for truly caring for their wives. In Igbo land, any man that beats his wife or does not take care of her is called an Efulefu. An Efulefu is someone who is way below useless, empty, and who has nothing good to offer. This is a generally held belief among people who are not all believers, how much more Christians who have been directed by God to take care of their wives and families 1 Timothy 5:8.

So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. – Ephesians 5:28

The Scripture above instructs husbands to love their wives as they love their own bodies. Just as they eat good food, put on good clothes, and do not allow any harm to come to their bodies, they are to treat their wives the same way. As a husband, you should use the best of your resources, words, and actions to show your wife that you love her. When you do this, you are a good husband indeed, and one advantage that a good husband has, according to today’s memory verse, is that God hears his prayers.

REFLECTION:

As a husband, are you taking good care of your wife? Can anyone see her and tell that you truly love her?

God’s Timing: Trusting Him Through Difficulty

Trying Times And Patience

Opening Prayer: Father, please send me needed interventions in this trying period and teach how to be patient and wait for your promises.

Memory Verse: “Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;” – Romans 12:12 (KJV)

Bible Text: James 1:2-4 (KJV)

Lesson Introduction: Trying times are periods of difficulty or hardship, but a Christian should remain unperturbed because there will be light at the end of the tunnel.

Lesson Outline One: What Are Trying Times?

Trying times are described as difficult situations or hardship, times of troubles and struggles, times that make someone trigger “suicide thought” because of lack of support, times of test of loyalty to divinity or God’s agenda, times of waiting for God’s intervention, time of secret weeping, test of strength, patience and endurance, time of ‘no help received’ and situation getting worse and complicated, time of closed heaven, all efforts become fruitless, time of abandonment and inflow of undesirable thoughts, and time of seeking God’s face for immediate intervention and resolution.

Psalm 23:4 – “Even though I walk through the darkest valley…”

Romans 5:3-4 – “We also glory in our sufferings…”

James 1:2-4 – “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, when you face trials…”
