Don’t Allow Anyone to Control You

Respect your husband but don’t allow him to abuse you. Love your wife but don’t allow her to manipulate you. Honor your parents but don’t allow them to run your life.

Provide for your children but don’t give them everything they ask for. Teach them to accept ‘NO’ graciously. If you feed a lion every day for a year, he will never be able to hunt again.

Honor your pastor but read the Bible for yourself. Cults originate from following people blindly. You must also question what your professor teaches in the lecture halls. Be a student of life. Think for yourself.

Learn from others but don’t become them. Watch news with a grain of salt. Not everything from mainstream media is gospel truth. News is designed to influence, not to inform.

Surrender your control only to God. He has your best interest always. But as for fellow mankind, surround yourself with people who’re secure with your freedom and empowerment.
