To Thy table now lead us

With the true and heav’nly bread.

2: While we kneel around Thee Lord

Thy sweet presence let us feel

All Thy wondrous love reveal.

3: While we gage on Thee with faith

Weeping o’er our sinful ways

Turn our mourning into joy.

4: When we taste the mystic wine,

Of Thine out poured blood the sign,

Fill our hearts, Lord, with Thy love.

5: Draw us to Thy wounded side,

whence there flowed the healing tide;

There all sins and sorrows hide.

6: From the bonds of sin release,

Cold and wavering faith increase,

Lamb of God, grant us Thy peace.

7: Lead us on with Thy pierced hand

Till we reach Thy throne above

In the bright and better land.

APPLY FOR AFRICA INITIATIVE FOR GOVERNMENT 2022 MASTERS SCHOLARSHIPS FOR NIGERIAN AND GHANAIAN STUDENTS, UK.

The Application Window for the 2021/22 Africa Initiative for Governance (AIG) Scholarships is now open.

The AIG Scholarships are targeted at graduates between the ages of 25 and 35 with strong intellectual capability, outstanding academic achievements, leadership skills and a passion to contribute to the development of Africa’s public sector.

Requirements For AIG Masters Scholarship Qualification

  1. Be a citizen of Nigeria or Ghana
  2. Be between the ages of 25 and 35 years (must not be 36 years old by December 31, 2021)
  3. Have a first-class or second-class upper undergraduate degree with honours (or equivalent international qualifications), as a minimum, in any discipline. For applicants with a degree from the USA, the minimum GPA sought is 3.7 out of 4.0
  4. Be preferably top 10% of graduating class (First, Second or Master’s Degree) – evidence to be provided
  5. Provide evidence of game-changing leadership and resultant impact
  6. Show skills and interests outside of academics (evidence to be provided)

Application Deadline

October 15, 2021

Please note that:

  1. Academic distinction and leadership potential are key priorities for selection.
  2. In the case of candidates with second-class upper qualifications, a Master’s, second degree or relevant professional qualification will be an advantage.
  3. Only applicants shortlisted for the next stage of the selection process will be contacted and any inquiries regarding individual application status are strictly prohibited.
  4. Applications sent via post or in person are NOT acceptable.
  5. Candidates who emerge as finalists in the Africa Initiative for Governance (AIG) selection process will be expected to apply directly to the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford, for admissions. Finalists who are offered admission to the Master of Public Policy will be considered by the School in the final selection of AIG Scholars.
