“And when any will offer a meat offering unto the Lord, his offering shall be of fine flour; and he shall pour oil upon it, and put frankincense thereon”.

Leviticus 2:1 (KJV)

Notice that in our text “fine flour” is likened to Jesus, who like wheat, had been pounded, beaten, and sifted several times. The scripture reminds us of His sufferings and sacrifice for us. Like fine flour there is nothing harsh about Jesus. Everything about Him comes in equal proportions. Every word He spoke and every thought and action He took was fine and lovely. He was flawless beauty and brilliance unlike the other people we see in the Bible. Abraham, though the father of faith, lied about his wife (Genesis 20:1-18). Moses, who is described as the meekest man, struggled with his temper (Numbers 12:3; 20:1-2). Peter was zealous for Jesus yet denied Him three times (Matthew 26:33-34; 69-75). John, who was regarded as the Apostle of Love, wanted to call down fire to destroy the Samaritans (Luke 9:52-54). Paul, who was the Apostle of Grace and blazed the trail of missions, went to Jerusalem even though he was told not to by the Holy Ghost (Acts 21:4; 10-15). Notice that man at his best still fails. The only faultless, flawless, all round lovely is Jesus; we can boldly look up to Him and never be disappointed.

Take time and look at all the examples listed above, as well as many others that I did not mention. You will see that the best of man is still human. This is why the plan for redemption had to be carried out by a God-man. God realised that any man born of a natural birth is subject to error, because the DNA of man is already laden with sin. So to redeem man, God had to step in supernaturally and ensure that the DNA of sin did not get into the seed. This is why Jesus was conceived of the Virgin; that was the only way God could come in the flesh to redeem man. The price for sin had to be paid.

Don’t try to earn this great gift; instead, simply receive it, appreciate it, acknowledge it, and celebrate it.

I Will Succeed Because God Has Already Made Me A Success

Genesis 17:5 (KJV)

God declared in the book of Genesis chapter 15 that His children will go into captivity for 400 years. God was speaking to Abraham, a man who had no baby and thought that Eliezer his chief servant was his child of promise. Abraham said to God, you are saying these things to me, what will you do for me, seeing that my servant will inherit all that I have? And God laughed and then took him outside and showed him a picture of what He will do for him. As though that was not enough, God made Abraham to sleep and made a covenant with him. He said you are still talking about a son when I am speaking about a nation. I will do exceedingly abundantly above what you have or think according to the power that is at work in you.

How do you see this God? He said you are talking about a son when I am speaking about a nation. God said to Abraham, a nation is coming out of you and for your information this nation is going into captivity for 400 years and they will be afflicted. But at the end of the day, I will afflict those that afflicted them and bring them out of captivity.

You will succeed because God has already made you.

So when Pharaoh was dancing around, he was only wasting his time because the children of Israel were already made to leave Egypt. In the same vein I declare that you are coming out of sickness, you are coming out of disease, you are coming out of barrenness, you are coming out of poverty and you will succeed because God has already made you. In fact, I pity the devil this day because there is no way you are going to be the same again. You are a living miracle. It is not by power, it is not by might but by the spirit of the Lord. I declare to you today that you are already made to come out of that situation and you are coming out because all things are possible to you if you can only believe, Amen!

Thou Mighty Man Of Valour, The Lord Is With Me

Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light.

Colossians 1:12.

Do you know that there are things that have already been made and yet you are still beating around the bush? There are things already made by God for you, if you can only believe. All through the scripture we find people who were already made. The man by the name Gideon was hiding, afraid of the Midianites and threshing wheat in the wine press. And the scripture says that God cleared His throat and said “thou mighty man of valour, the Lord is with you.” The man was hiding but God was showing him a picture that he was already made. Not that he will be made but was already made and he was hiding. He was already the mighty man of valour. God saw him defeating the Medianites. I declare to you that the things that have been defeating you, you will defeat them and what you have been running away from, from now on you will begin to pursue if only you can get the picture.

The scripture paints picture of people who were made and they began to act like it. Never act like a defeated person. When you hear the Bible say what you bind here on earth is bound in heaven, “what you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven or that greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world or that this is the victory that overcome the world, even our faith,” you must realize that you are already made.

If you think that you are a sinner, the Bible says we have been made the righteousness of God in Christ. You are already made. When God says there will be no barrenness among His people, it means you will not be barren. In other words, don’t ever see yourself as barren. Just name how many babies you want. When He says by His stripes you were healed, it means that you are not sick. Sickness and disease may be attacking your body but as far as heaven’s record is concerned, you are healed from the crown of your head to the soles of your feet. Child of God, the truth is you are already made. Declare I am already made.

My Salvation Is Won. My Sins Are All Forgiven. Hallelujah! Thank You Jesus

So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.

Jesus cried out, “It is finished!” You cannot complete a completed work. You cannot finish a finished work. Our salvation is won. Our sins are all forgiven. We are made forever righteous by His blood. Christ paid completely and perfectly for our total forgiveness, righteousness and every blessing!

In fact, these three words, “It is finished”, come from one Greek word teleo. In the days of Jesus, a servant would use it when reporting to his master: “I have completed the work assigned to me.” (John 17:4) The word means, “It is finished, it stands finished and it will always be finished!” Perhaps the most significant meaning of teleo is how it is used by merchants: “The debt is paid in full!” When Jesus gave Himself on the cross, He met fully the righteous demands of the law. He paid our debts in full!

Today, it is not our works that will bring us the blessings. It is Christ’s finished work. Christian living is not about doing, but believing in His finished work. Under the law, we must do. Under grace, it is done!

Maybe you are faced with overwhelming odds today. Jesus promises, “It is finished!” You are not going to be delivered because you have already been delivered. You are not going to be healed because you are already the healed! God healed you 2,000 years ago! Isaiah 53:5 declares, “By His stripes you are healed!” You are already pregnant with healing. Keep resting in His finished work and it will manifest!

My friend, the work is finished. The victory is won. Our blessings have been bought by His blood! Live life knowing that there is nothing for you to do—only believe! It is finished!

I Speak The Wisdom Of God In A Mystery

James_1-5: If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

“Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect; yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world [. . .]”.

1 Corinthians 2:7 (KJV)

The Psalmist said “I have seen an end of all perfection” (Psalm 119:96). The best of men are still men. They have their limitations. When you depend on man’s wisdom, you will go nowhere; at best it will only limit you.

But hear Brother Paul; “howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect; yet not the wisdom of this world nor of the Princes that cometh to nought…” You see that? Wisdom is that which God has given to the believer that distinguishes us from the world. This wisdom sets us apart among equals.

When a believer opens his mouth to speak in line with the word of God, he is speaking divine wisdom and it overrules all earthly wisdom. The earthly wisdom is already dethroned. The Bible says that we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery. Notice that the scripture says that this wisdom is hidden. Yes, God hides it from the enemy but opens it up for us.

This wisdom was ordained for our glory and not our shame. Therefore, I rebuke everything that brings shame to you. Child of God you must understand that you are not called for shame but for His Glory. Anything that the enemy brings against you to molest you and cause shame, today I rebuke it in Jesus Name. I encourage you to take time to pray for the wisdom of God; the wisdom to navigate the issues of 2016. Every year is peculiar, and every year has in it divine opportunities. So don’t take it as just another year, seek the face of God and ask God for the wisdom to make the right decision at the right time so that you can get the right results. Solomon went to God with an offering beyond words and God gave him a blank cheque – ask anything, but the man knew better, he asked God for wisdom.

Today, I pray a release of divine wisdom over your life in Jesus’ name.

My Saviour. I Want To Know Christ And Walk Closely With Him

When Jesus walked this earth, a vast multitude followed Him. They came for all sorts of reasons—some noble, some selfish. The same is true today. It’s important that we understand what motivates people to come to Christ, because not all who seek Him are really His followers. In fact, we each need to analyze our own walk with the Lord: What do we want from Him? How committed are we to being His disciples?

Many of the people who followed Jesus did so because they had urgent needs that He alone could meet. Everywhere He went, the sick and demon-possessed were brought to Him—this is one of the ways that God draws us to Himself. Those who can solve all their own problems never need a Savior.

Other folks came for sensationalism. They wanted to see the signs and miracles and feel a thrill of excitement. Today some people come to church or conferences to get pumped up, but mountaintop experiences are always followed by valleys. When hardships or challenges come, such people are quick to abandon the Lord.

But Jesus’ disciples followed Him because they genuinely believed He was the Messiah, the very Son of God (Matt. 16:16). Their commitment went beyond emotions or needs. They wanted to know Christ and walk closely with Him.

Are you more interested in what Jesus can do for you than in just being with Him? Do you find it hard to stay committed without an emotional experience to sustain you? Our physical and emotional needs can draw us to the Lord, but they should never be the foundation for our walk with Him.

Evidently Obadiah Holmes, who lived in the 1600s, understood the power of a good word, as evidenced by the following words to his lifelong bride:

Sorrow not at my departure, but rejoice in the Lord. In nothing be anxious, but make your request to Him who alone is able to supply your necessities and to help you in time of need. Let your love to me culminate in this: that it is better for me to be out of the body and to be with the Lord. Consider the fears you had concerning me every day, for the pains and weaknesses and dangers, now freed from sin and Satan and all enemies and doubts. At the resurrection, this weak, corrupt, mortal body shall be raised immortal and glorious.

And now, my dear wife, it will be but a little while before your day will end and your time comes to sleep with me in rest. . . . Be cheerful and rejoice in God continually. Care not for the things of this world. Say not, “What shall I eat, and with what shall I be clothed,” for your Father knows what you have need of. And He has given you much more of these things than you and I ever could expect or have deserved, and you have enough and to spare if His good pleasure be to let you enjoy the same. Supernatural Touch Of God! Happy New Year!

Exodus 4:2–3
So the Lord said to him, “What is that in your hand?” He said, “A rod.” And He said, “Cast it on the ground.” So he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from it.

God wants to take the natural things in your life and make them supernaturally blessed. He does this by asking you to give Him what you already have in the natural, and He will do the supernatural.

That is why the Lord told Moses to cast his rod on the ground. And when Moses cast his rod on the ground, which represents him giving the rod to the Lord, that same rod became the rod of God. With that rod, the Red Sea was opened. (Exodus 14:16) And when that rod was used to hit a rock, water flowed out of the rock. (Exodus 17:5–6) It was no longer a natural rod, but the supernatural rod of God!

But why did the rod become a serpent when Moses cast it to the ground?

Moses never realized that there was a “snake” in his rod. You see, because of the fall of man, there is a touch of the curse—a snake—in every natural thing, including your career, natural strength, talents and ministry.

So how do you deal with the “snake” that is in all the natural things in your life?

First, cast it to the Lord. Then, do what the Lord told Moses next: “Reach out your hand and take it by the tail”. (Exodus 4:4)

Now, it could be fatal to take a snake by its tail because it can easily turn its head around and bite you. So why did God say that?

When you take it by the tail, God will take the head! He wants you to let Him handle the head, and not grab it or hold on to it tightly in fear or self-effort. That is how you see your career, strength, talents and ministry supernaturally blessed.

Beloved, there is a snake, a touch of the curse, in everything in the natural. But give what is natural to the Lord and see the touch of the curse replaced with the supernatural touch of God!
